When it came to speed, Yuuki had always been very confident in it. She always focused her Magic all around her body- depending where she wanted to focus her next attacks. To her, channeling Magic around her body was just like sleeping and breathing to her; you don't struggle with things that were natural to you. 

Yuuki punched Kiyo's serpent-like body. She was expecting to crush the woman's organs; where else would a snake's organs be? However, from the look of things, Kiyo's serpent-like body was absorbing all attacks. Kiyo whipped Yuuki into the air and tried to whip her away but Yuuki used Kiyo's serpent-like tail as a springboard to get away. When Yuuki's feet touched the stone wall, she focused her aura to her legs and she flew off the wall quickly! 

"Hah!" Yuuki elbowed Kiyo's human top half of the body! She elbowed her in the heart!

"Heh." Kiyo grabbed Yuuki and she bit Yuuki in the neck! 

"Geh...!" The elbow to the heart should have hurt Kiyo! Why didn't it hurt her?! Yuuki tried to hit Kiyo but Kiyo slithered away. 

Yuuki fell to the ground, holding the part of her neck where Kiyo had bit. For a moment, Kiyo heard her own heartbeat. What was happening to her? She struggled but she got up regardless of the pain. 'I see...that body of hers isn't just for show. It absorbs impacts from physical attacks. Judging by how Momo failed to even hurt her, I'm guessing she absorbs the impact from sharp weapons. She really is the worst opponent or Momo to fight.' 

"Hmph! You're gonna die within 3 minutes. My venom is very deadly. If you so much as to move a muscle, you will die! Now, let's see you die in front of me!" She hit the wall with her snake part and she made the ceiling unstable to the point debris were falling upon Yuuki! 

"Aura Magic: Inner Rejection!" Yuuki's whole body was shrouded by a gentle blue light. Yuuki spat out a venomous looking black liquid and she jumped out of the way of the falling rocks! She's not going to get caught by debris! 

"What?!" 

Yuuki coughed and coughed until the black liquid were all vomited out of her system. She smirked and she looked at Kiyo with a confident look. "I can reject anything I deem foreign to my body!" Yuuki said to Kiyo, "You might be a snake, but you mean nothing when I am able to reject it! And your poison tastes horrible!"  

Judging by Kiyo's reaction, she honestly did not expect Yuuki to be able to get rid of the poison that easily. Anger began to boil in her; looking at Yuuki's smug look reminded her of Michiyo's face. Kiyo felt as if Yuuki was mocking her. 

"I will kill you! The story is not meant to be like that!" The story for Michiyo was supposed to be one of tragedy. 

Kiyo kept slithering on the ground, coming after Yuuki no matter where she went. Yuuki focused her Magic to her legs and arms, running on all fours to escape the snake demon. 

When Kiyo got too close for Yuuki's liking, Yuuki used her favorite Magic! "Aura Magic: Shield & Rebound!" 

Kiyo was deflected away by Yuuki's shield! Kiyo's eyes were closed as she was being pushed by by a powerful force! When she opened her eyes, Yuuki was right in front of her. The next thing Kiyo knew, she felt pain in her face; Yuuki head-butted her in the face and she followed up with combos of consecutive punches to Kiyo's torso. Each blow was boosted by Magic! 

Kiyo allowed Yuuki to keep hitting her without defending though; she was able to absorb the impact everywhere else but her face. 

Kiyo wrapped the end of her tail around Yuuki and she slammed Yuuki to the ground twice! Even though Yuuki used her Magic to absorb as much of the impact as possible, it still hurts very much! 

"Stupid little demon. Do you really think you can take on the Zodiacs?" 

Yuuki glared at the snake woman. Even though she's bounded by Kiyo, Yuuki's eyes did not waver. 

"Why are you defiant for the sake of humans? They're just stupid creatures bringing their own downfall in their story. Even if we don't do anything, these stupid humans will destroy their own stories eventually. We're just here to make it happen faster." 

"That...that is wrong...!"

"Huh? This scent...why do you smell like the Dog Zodiac?" Kiyo did not notice this at first because she wasn't really focusing her Magic to her sense of smell but now could after circulating Magic to her 5 senses. "You...you couldn't be-!" 

"Aura Magic: Shield & Rebound!" Yuuki broke herself free from Kiyo's tail! The shield of aura protecting her! She dropped and rolled away before she jumped far away after re-focusing  her Magic to her legs! "Aura Magic: Shackles of Aura!" She clapped her hands together! But nothing happened as the sound resounded into nothingness! 

"Hah! Nothing happened!"

"Fire & Ice Magic: Roaring Fire!" "Explosion Magic: Blast!" 

Yuuki smirked because before anyone could comprehend it, the whole place was ignited in a powerful fire! Kiyo's being burnt alive but fire caused by two people! Shout and Katsuki were finally here! 

"Yuuki!" Shouto called out to the wolf demon! 

Yuuki's okay though. Her aura shield was protecting her and rebounding the fire from her! She could literally stand in the blast of raging fire without getting hurt from the intensity of the heat! 

"Waaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!" Kiyo couldn't stand the heat! It's far too hot! She looked over her shoulder to see Shouto and Katsuki had arrived! 

Shouto and Katsuki blast their Magic directly to Kiyo! Sending her into a world of blazing inferno with their combined attack! 

Kiyo looked like she's just there taking it. There was a reason why she couldn't move; Yuuki wasn't blindly hitting her. Yuuki was sending her aura into Kiyo the whole time. Each hit, each kick, each punch, each touch...Yuuki was sending her aura into Kiyo and then at the very last moment activate Shackles of Aura to make her far too heavy to  move! 

'That bitch trapped me! But how did she manage to pull off this plan?! How did she know when to use Magic to make me stay in one spot?!' Kiyo thought as she's being burnt by the two men. "AHHHHH!!!!!" 

If it was another person, they wouldn't be able to pull off the perfect timing by chance. Yuuki's a wolf demon, remember? The ears on her head wasn't for show! She heard Shouto and Katsuki and Katsuki told her to put up a 'fucking shield' because he's going to roast the demon to death! 

Shouto's here for revenge and Katsuki's here because he was told to come here! He had bones to pick with these damn Zodiacs! They both have different reasons to want to kill the enemy! 

This was literally a scorching ground! Kiyo's being burnt and she's unable to get away! 

'I have to get away! I'll burn to death at this rate! If I die, I won't be able to bring Chinan back to life!' 

Shouto and Katsuki both let out a war cry as they increased the output of Magic to burn the Snake Zodiac! 

"UWAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" 

"You said you're going to destroy Michiyo's story, didn't you?! So tell me! How does it feel to have us destroy your fucking story?!" Katsuki shouted at her, "You're finished!" 

Suddenly, Kiyo remembered something. Didn't she say humans were stupid for destroying their own stories? 

"You've lied to me! You said you would come back to me and marry me! You've tricked me! Unforgivable! Unforgivable! Chinan, you are the worst!" 

"Kiyo, I-I've sent you letters telling you I cannot marry you in the end! I've decided how my path should be walked-" 

"Silence! You have deceived me! I will never forgive you!" 

"Kiyo, stop!" 

"Chinan, I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. Hissssss....I love you....hisssss, hisssssssssssssssss..." 

She kept confessing her love to him again and again. But Chinan could no longer hear her because he had died after being stabbed in the heart by her. Kiyo did not stop. Even if she stabbed the young monk to the point she's unable to recognize him, it was not enough. It's never enough. 

By the time she's finished, she's laughing crazily. 

After many decades had passed, she conveniently forgot the whole thing. She had forgotten how she killed Chinan and she just assumed she outlived him. 

Wasn't she the one who ended her own love story with the man she claimed to love? Doesn't that make her an idiot then? 

The fire had finally stopped. Kiyo laid there as her body began to fade into ashes. She's in so much pain from the intense burning. She's going to fade away. 

Yuuki was about to walk past her but Kiyo grabbed Yuuki by the ankle. Yuuki could have just kicked her away but she looked down at the snake like she's insignificant.

"Why...? Why do you smell like the Dog Zodiac?" 

Yuuki smiled at Kiyo, it was a smile void of happiness, "A wolf and the dog shares the same ancestor, you know?" Yuuki walked away. Kiyo did not have the strength to pull her back. "Oh, by the way..." Yuuki smirked down at Kiyo, "I am in control of this story once I get rid of the people standing in the way." 

"Who...who are you?!" 

"Who knows~?" 

Yuuki ran up to Katsuki, "Praise me for doing a good job, Master!" 

"Why should I praise you for doing something you SHOULD be doing as I expected?" 

"Eh?! I won't get a praise from you?! Aww..." 

"Hmph. I suppose you DID do better than I had expected. Good job." 

"Master, say that again but pat my head!" 

"Sure. I suppose you DID do better than I had expected. Good job. Now let me pat your head!" The head patting was not a head pat at all! In fact, it was a smack to the head! It hurts! 

"Ahhh!!!" 

"What do we do about that?" Shouto asked, "Should I finish her off?" He was about to burn her some more to make her fade away quicker but Yuuki grabbed his wrist. 

"Leave her." 

"Yuuki..."

"I'm sure Michiyo would rather see us right now. Let's go back to her." 

It will be a matter of time before the rumors will be erased. But without the Zodiac  contaminating the others, people will eventually forget about the rumors. With Denki, Mina and the others changing the narrative, things will eventually work out. Katsuki and Yuuki believed in that. 

The Snake continued to fade away. She had her eyes closed the entire time but when she heard footsteps coming her way, she slowly opened them again and she looked up at whoever it was. She looked up and she saw a girl with rat-like ears on her head. 

"Nezumi..." The Rat Zodiac came to see the dying Snake Zodiac; you shouldn't expect demons to mourn because unlike Eijirou, the Rat's a true demon. Much crueler than anyone...

"So you're dying, Kiyo. And here you told me you were confident to bring a tragedy. Not only did you get yourself killed, but you're in such a shameless state." 

"I didn't ask to be in such a state!" 

"Hm. Well, I suppose the least I can do for you is bury your ashes next to your beloved Chinan. I guess because you cannot be with him this life simply meant you can be with him in the next one. Now, where was he buried again?" 

"Nezumi...how did Chinan die?" 

Nezumi looked down at Snake and she got on her knees in front of the dying woman. The smile on her face was innocent on the surface but Kiyo could see cruelty in Nezumi's eyes, "I told you he died from an illness, didn't I? Since you're dying, you can take this regret to your grave. You killed Chinan." 

"I...k-killed Chinan? Never! I would never kill him! It had to be a lie...!" She was convinced that the memories she saw of herself destroying her own love story had to be fabricated. She didn't want the truth to become the truth. She wanted her own lie to become the only truth. 

"But you really did kill him. You've stabbed him where he hurt you the most: The heart." 

"Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar!!!!" 

Nezumi chuckled, "How can it be a lie when I saw you turn your Chinan into mush? He DID say he's no longer planning to marry you in the end. You CHOSE to stab him to death." 

"...The letters!" 

Nezumi giggled, "That's right! The letters! The ones I hid from you! Here you go~!" Falling down the Rat Zodiac's hands were letters written all for Kiyo by her precious Chinan. 

Kiyo tried to reach for one of the letters but her fingers were starting to fade away too. "Why would you do this to me?!" 

"Why? You know why." Nezumi yanked Kiyo's hair up, forcing the other woman to look at her, "You were about to abandon your role as a Zodiac to serve by God's side! And for what?! To marry a mere human! You think I will allow that?!" 

"For something like that, you...!" 

"You and the Dragon Zodiac are the same; you both fall in love with a human, lose sight of what you truly are, and then you try to defy God. Hahaha...this is why I will ruin everything for you. I will ruin these little insignificant love stories for you!" 

Nezumi stabbed her hand through Kiyo's heart! The weakly beating heart pumped weakly in Nezumi's hand. Nezumi then brought the bloody organ to her mouth and she started to devour the Snake's heart. She threw Kiyo's body aside and continued to eat the organ like nothing happened. 

Kiyo looked at the letters. Tears welled up and she reached her other hand to one of the letters. 

"Ah...I see..." Kiyo's other hand faded away too. The loss of the heart sped up the transition to ashes. "I never had your heart from the very start..." 

Nezumi licked her lips and fingers. That was a good meal but she gave it a 6/10 because it could be better. 

"Now then...it's about time I start making my move too." Nezumi said as she walked away from the ashes. "What? Did you expect me to really bury her ashes? I don't even know where her Chinan is buried."
