Why did the story have to end up this way? Where did it go wrong? I only wanted the story to be a happy one...why did it become this way? How did the happiness of someone else became someone else's decision. 

I won't accept it.

I'll be the one to write the story. I'll rewrite everything so it becomes a happy ending. I'll use any methods to make it become true...

Even if I become a demon myself! 

Yuuki opened her eyes and she slowly got up to see what was going on. What happened? She remembered being kicked by Mirko. She got out of the wall and she could see Eijirou fighting with Mirko. It was a battle between two Zodiacs. 

"Eijirou..." Yuuki tried to get up but she's far too injured to move. Her eyes closed, sleep started to take over her. Unknown to her, a pink light shrouded over her body. What was this pink light? Will she be safe? 

The shallow breathing from pain soon became calm and slow...the pain could no longer be felt.

No matter how many times Mirko kicked and kicked, she couldn't break Eijirou's unbreakable defense. Each time she kicked him with Magic, the pain in her legs became more and more evident. It was like kicking at a very thick wall, a wall that refused to be broken. 

On the outside, it looked like Eijirou's not feeling a single thing but truth was it was hurting him; each kick of Mirko's were infused with Magic. It only looked like he's unbreakable because he's channeling his own Magic constantly throughout his body to maintain the form. If he broke his concentration, he will feel the impact and he will break for sure. He needed to land a winning hit onto Mirko! He needed to protect everyone because Mirko's a very strong Zodiac and he saw her as someone very dangerous to the others. He wanted to protect everyone! He wanted to protect Yuuki most of all! 

"Ora, ora,ora, ora!!!" If Mirko focused on her kicks, Eijirou relied on his fists. Just like how Tetsutetsu wanted to become the spear and shield for his friends, Eijirou too wished to become everyone's spear and shield. The moment he confessed he's a Zodiac, he found the resolution to protect everyone...even at the risk of his life at this very moment!

Punches vs Kicks! Which one will prevail?! A rabbit demon with powerful kicks, or a dragon demon with an unbreakable will?!  

"Argh!!!" Eijirou punched Mirko in the stomach! "Dragon Magic: Dragon Gauntlet!" 

Mirko spat out blood but she grabbed Eijirou's arm and then she kicked him square in the face! 

"Gah...!" Eijirou spat out blood too! Eijirou was about to fall but then he felt someone catch him. Katsuki caught him! 

"Katsuki?!" 

"Don't stop now, I'm just getting warmed up!" Mirko lightly tapped the floor, making a huge rock pop out from under the ground. She stepped back and she did a run to kick the very huge rock, breaking it into smaller but faster, deadly blunt objects raining at Eijirou's way! 

Each rock flying to them at top speed have Magic infused in each one of them; even if Eijirou stop one, two, or three...he will not be able to stop them all at once! What should he do?! 

Katsuki stepped in front of Eijirou, "I'm not so weak that I need you to protect me! Don't you ever stand in front of me!" 

"Katsuki!" 

"DIE!!!" Ever since he learnt about channeling Magic to certain places of his body to amplify the output of Magic, he had been focusing his Magic to travel throughout his body even if he wasn't fighting. He did this as a form of training for himself. He never told Yuuki about it because he did not want to admit she was better at something than him. He trained himself in secret so the next time he's using Magic, he wanted Yuuki to praise him so he could show off that he already knew how to do it without even trying. 'Focus! Don't lose your concentration! Focus all of the Magic in your body to your arm...!' He thought to himself as he gathered all the Magic inside of him in one spot! 'Create a blast and blow everything away! "Explosive Magic: Blast!"

The blast was so powerful that it blew away all of the rocks! The blast was so powerful that the force of the wind it caused sent Mirko right to the wall of the Colosseum! The force was so powerful that one side of the Colosseum had broke down into debris! 

"S-such power..." Neito couldn't believe what he had witnessed. Katsuki was this powerful?! He had only seen him do explosive Magic like it was so natural. He thought Katsuki's Magic was strong but to become this strong to this extent?! 

Katsuki's arm shook. The ache and the pain now catching up to him. "Gah...!" 

"Katsuki!" Eijirou looked at Katsuki's shaking arm. 'I can sense no more Magic inside of him. Has he used it all up for that one attack?!' 

"That ought to sort her out..." 

But he was wrong. Mirko was not down. Mirko's coming back for the kill! "Hahahahaha!!! That was awesome! Do it again!" When was the last time she had experienced such pain?! It felt like forever! How exciting! A battle that got her heart beating, making adrenaline rush throughout her body! First the close combat fight with a fellow Zodiac, and then to have a human- a Magic User make her feel pain in every ounce of her body! She needed to defeat Katsuki now. Not because she's a Zodiac, but because battling with them was a lot of fun! 

"She's coming!" Eijirou supported Katsuki! 'Do I run away?! But if I leave the tower right now, it'd be a waste of everyone's effort!' What should he do? What was the right choice?! 

"Co..." Katsuki said in a quiet voice. 

"Katsuki, she's coming- we need to leave-" Eijirou tried to get away, but Mirko was closing the distance too quickly. They won't make it! "Katsuki!" 

"Rabbit Magic: Lunar Arc!" She infused Magic into her axe kick! She's going to kill two birds with one stone! One very huge stone! 

Katsuki glared at Mirko with a defiant look in his eyes. It's the eyes of a man who will never give up even if fate was not in his favor! Even if his fate was to be finished here, he will fight as long as there's strength in him! Even if he had no Magic inside of him, even if he's only got blood and his bones left...he will fight! 

"Come to me, stupid wolf!" 

On the floor in front of Katsuki and Eijirou, a huge black ring appeared on the ground. Black electricity sparked out of the outer rings and everything in the circle glowed white. Yuuki jumped out of the circle! She's no longer hurt! 

"Yuuki?!" Eijirou looked at the direction where Yuuki was kicked to and then at the Yuuki before them. It's the same Yuuki! But how?! "Huh?" What's that pink light emitting from her body? 

Katsuki heard Eijirou whisper another name but he ignored it as Yuuki used her Magic to finish this once and for all! 

"Aura Magic: Shield & Rebound!" With her aura, she created a shield that will rebound to the attacker attacking her shield! 

Mirko's Magic infused attack touched the shield and instantly a rebound happened and she felt a powerful force hitting her back. 

"Ah...!" Mirko passed out completely! She landed on the ground, defeated! They have won! 

Yuuki looked at Katsuki and she happily wagged her tail before she got down on one knee and touch her heart, "Master, you've called?" 

"Heh..." Katsuki landed on the ground with Eijirou. They're both sitting with their backs against another. "Soften, up, Eijirou. You're all prickly." 

"Sorry..." He became normal again. 

Yuuki walked on her knees and she sat in front of them, her tail was wagging and she grinned at them. 

"What are you all smiley about?" Katsuki asked.

"We won~!" 

"Heh. The timing was good. You did say you heal faster compared to humans. I figured you'd be okay as long as we hold off that rabbit woman. 

Neito watched from afar and he couldn't believe what he just saw! They've defeated another Zodiac! They've defeated Mirko! A very powerful Zodiac! 

But...what will they do about Mirko?

Mirko slowly opened her eyes. She's no longer in the Colosseum. Where was she? She's sleeping on the sand and what seemed like an island-like world. Did they carry her with them while moving up the tower?! 

She could hear noises and she poked her head out of the bushes to see Neito arguing with Katsuki. 

"I said no fucking killing the fucking demon, you stupid thief! Which part of that motherfucking sentence you find it hard to understand?!" 

Mirko wondered what kind of argument she had bared her eyes on. 

"But she's a demon! She kicked all our asses earlier! She's a bad person! We should kill her!" 

"You didn't even have your ass kicked by her! You just sat there crying like a bitch!" Katsuki shouted at him, "You're the last person to land any killing blows because you did fuck all!" 

Neito found it hard to refute Katsuki because it was true. He then looked to the side and he cried out in fear because Mirko was awake now. 

"Oh. You're awake." Katsuki said to her, "We didn't kill you." 

"Why not? You had the perfect chance. Anyone would have took on that chance." 

"Hmph. Blame the stupid dragon." 

"Can we spare Mirko?" Eijirou asked Katsuki as they looked at her, "Even though she's a Zodiac, she has always been a nice person to the other Zodiacs. She kicks people, but she never kills them." 

"Like I care! I say we take her out right now while we have the chance!" Neito shouted, "Eijirou, did she kick you brain so hard for you to stick up for her?" 

"But I don't want you to hurt her!" He then looked at Katsuki, "Katsuki, you decide!" 

Katsuki looked at the rabbit Zodiac and then he looked at Katsuki. From the look of things, Mirko do seem different from the other demons; other demons would have jumped at the opportunity to kill someone when they're down. Hitoshi and Yuuki were down when she kicked them both, even Tetsutetsu but still Mirko did not hurt them and instead went for the kick to the ones who were up. Katsuki decided to listen and believe in Eijirou's words. 

"What?!" Neito heavily disagreed with Katsuki on the decision to spare Mirko. 

"She did kick us, but she did leave the ones who were fainted alone. Take her with us for the time being." 

"Hahahaha! Your reasoning is funny! You realize I am a demon, right? A Zodiac at that...you're not afraid I will take advantage of your kindness and kick you to death right now?" Mirko wiped a bit of tears away from laughing. Demons showed no mercy to humans. Yet, Katsuki showed mercy and chose not to kill Mirko when there was a perfect opportunity. 

"You can try, I will just have to put you down." Katsuki made little explosions with his hands, giving Mirko a warning that he may have little strength left but he will fight for his life if he needed to. 

"Hmph, you have spunk! I like that! This is why I came to kick your asses! It's not often I find a human worth having their asses kicked!" 

"No, I think even if they DO have spunk, I doubt they'd be happy to have their asses kicked..." Neito mumbled. 

"Oh! Eijirou! You okay, buddy?" 

"Yeah. Barely." 

"Hah! Guess you're not unbreakable after all!" 

"You're just too strong..." 

Mirko walked up to Yuuki and she threw her arm over her shoulders, "You, little demon wolf, that was incredible! You totally sent my attack back to me! I like that attack of yours!" 

"Hee~! I like it too!" 

"Use it again! I wanna kick it!" 

"We're all fucking injured here!" Katsuki snapped, "Stop making us do physical activities, you stupid ass rabbit!" 

While eating fish and other fruits, Mirko found them amusing so she was not kicking their faces in. Right now, she's talking to Eijirou on his own. From a Zodiac to another Zodiac.

"I love a good fight. I live each day looking for a good fight. I think if we fight next time, it will be very fun!" 

"Your habit won't change, huh?" Eijirou sighed, "You just can't sit still, can you?" 

"Nope! What about you? Are you going to keep travelling with them?" 

"Ah. I want to protect Katsuki and Yuuki no matter what." 

Mirko looked at Katsuki, who was receiving a shoulder massage from Yuuki as they speak. Yuuki looked like she as enjoying it. She then looked at Eijirou and she noticed Eijirou was looking at Yuuki with a relived smile as if to say 'This is how it should be.' "By the way, Eijirou...you realize that wolf over there did God in, right?" 

"I knew that. I was the one who brought her to God." 

"Huh?" Mirko only heard God was visited by someone and then that someone killed God...she didn't know Eijirou was the one who took Yuuki to see God! 

"Mirko, I really don't agree with God. I don't believe he should decide the fate of humans. What Yuuki have done...it's something anyone would do if you were in her shoes." 

"Who is she to you anyway?" 

Eijirou smiled and he told Mirko about it...

"Oh shut the hell up, Yuuki!" He tried to push her face away from his but she kept pushing against his palm. She's very lucky he doesn't have much Magic left in him! Otherwise he would have let off explosions from his palm! 

"But Master! I wanna be praised~!" She thought she did a very good job today and she felt she deserved a praise or two from him. "Master, they do say people work harder when they're praised!" 

"Tch! Move your head closer then!" 

"Hee~!" She moved closer to him and she let him mess her hair up. 

At that very moment, if it wasn't for her, they wouldn't have defeated Mirko. It was a miracle. 

"That moment wasn't an inevitability." 

"Hm?" 

"Mirko is strong. She is stronger than any demons we have fought so far...the fact we managed to defeat her was by chance." 

"Hmm~, you don't believe it was all decided to be that way?" 

"Heh, and who's going to decide that? Some kind of God? I don't believe in that shit." 

Yuuki smiled and she leaned her head against his shoulder. She closed her eyes and she sighed out comfortably, "Master, thank you for calling for me." 

"Hm?" 

"I'm scared of fainting. It feels like a temporary death." 

"Is that so?" He put a hand on her head, "Then I'll keep calling you until you wake up." 

"That sounds nice~." 

"Are you okay with that, Eijirou?" 

"Yeah. I will stay by her side...even if her path is a destructive one. I'll bear trials and tribulations with her." 

"I see. Then! I should be on my way~!" 

"Where are you going? Back to the Zodiacs?" 

"No. I'm going on my own adventure! I'm gonna have fun kicking different asses!" 

Eijirou chuckled, "That sounds like something you would do." 

"But before I go, I'll give you all a gift. How about I kick the other demons' asses and let you all get the wish?" She asked with a grin on her face, "Think of it as a gift for letting me have a good fight!"
