Josie stood in a boxing ring, upon being announced. "In the crimson corner and robe, hailing from Mystic Falls, Virginia, the former Queen of Codependency, the reigning Sultan of Siphon, Josie Saltzman!" The Necromancer announced.

"And in the blue corner, the Queen of Mean, the Blonde Banshee, She Who Is About to Be Siphoned into Oblivion, your very own... Elizabeth Saltzman!" He added. Everyone's eyes averted to the empty corner of the boxing ring, where Lizzie was not standing. Josie sighed, before taking the microphone.

"Well, my selfish sister didn't show up. Who am I gonna kill?" She asked. "Should it be... Ooh... vampires? Maybe witches? How about some werewolves?"

Suddenly, Monica, Ruby and Jordan entered the boxing ring. Monica crossed her arms, "Why not try all three?" She asked with a smirk. Josie glanced at the trio, as Ruby and Jordan glanced back at her, their expressions quite serious.

Monica and Ruby lurched at Josie, both fighting her with hand to hand combat. Josie tried to fight them off, but two against one wasn't an easy fight. The difference was though, Josie had magic.

She waved her hands, throwing Monica against the side of the ring, before also throwing Ruby straight into her. They both groaned, before Monica got to her feet, before helping her best friend up. Josie held out her hand to use magic on them once more but Jordan stepped in front of them, defensively.

"Mittent." Josie said, but Jordan deflected any sort of spell she was about to use on him as he replied, "Reflecta." Josie flew back into the ropes, but quickly got back onto her feet. "Lecutio Maxima!" She said, before Jordan held out his arm, "Scutum!"

The witches both sent different colours of strong magic towards eachother.  Monica and Ruby put their hands on his shoulders allowing him siphon from them also.

The magic suddenly hit Josie causing her to fly back into the ropes again, but after a moment she got back to her feet. "Is that all you've got?" She asked Jordan, with a grin. "This isn't any fun." Josie added with a pout. "What, you think this is fun for us?" Monica asked, with a growl.

"I know that you're in there, Josie." Ruby spoke up, hoping to get through to the real Josette. "Give it up, Ruby. What's it gonna take to get it through to your thick wolf skull that I'm Josie now? Incendia!" Josie growled before firing flames at the Waithe. Monica quickly sped over, moving Ruby out of the way.

"You are not Josie." Jordan hissed as he approached her. "I know that you think she's weak, but I know the truth... she's strong. You're strong." He added. "No one could shoulder the burdens that you carry."

"And you're always there for your friends when they need you. So, please, Jo, we really need you right now." Ruby pleaded, as the trio stared at the witch. "Shut up. Everybody, shut up!" Josie suddenly screamed at all of the noise blasting throughout the gymnasium. "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!"

Suddenly, Josie looked up. "Jordy? Ruby— Monica?" She asked as she glanced at the three of them. Ruby got out of Monica's arms and scrambled forward. "Jo, is that you?" She asked softly.

Josie gave Ruby a small relieved smile, but it quickly disappeared as the darkness took over again. "Did you really think that you three would bring out my good side? I don't even think she likes any of you." She growled as she looked at the trio again.

Josie suddenly sent Monica and Ruby flying out of the ring, causing them to both hit the nearest walls with thuds, before slowly sliding down onto the floor. The Saltzman then glared to Jordan before saying, "Ascendo."

Suddenly the Luna witch floated into the air at Josie's will. "So, any last words for your tombstone?" She asked as she planned to completely destroy the boy. "I know you're in there, Josie. Please, fight. We need you. The real you." Jordan pleased, as Josie seemed nothing but amused.

Monica helped Ruby to her feet, before the wolf pointed to the ring where she saw Jordan floating midair. "No!" The vampire cried out, as she rushed forward to stop Josie.

"I should have mentioned this earlier... but black really isn't your color." Lizzie stated as she appeared by the boxing ring with Hope by her side. Ruby rushed over to them, enveloping them both into a relieved hug.

Josie dropped Jordan to the floor. "You're late to your own funeral." She stated as she looked at her twin. "No. I am right on time to kick your ass." Lizzie replied.

Monica approached Lizzie, Hope, Jordan and Ruby as she overheard her girlfriend say, "This stupid potion of yours is gonna work, right? Because it tasted like feet." Hope replied, "It will if you win."

"And you will win." Monica cut in before she moved to stand in front of her girlfriend. Gently Monica took Lizzie's hands in her own, "Now siphon me. You need to be at full strength, my love."

Lizzie nodded as their hands were glowing red as she siphoned magic from the vampire. The Saltzman then lurched forward and kissed Monica. The vampire kissed back and instead threw her arms around her girlfriend.

Ruby, Hope and Jordan watched them with sad smiles before Josie cleared her throat. "Times ticking, sister." She said. Lizzie and Monica broke apart. "You've got this. I love you." Monica smiled sadly. "I love you too." Lizzie said back before she stepped away to enter the ring.

"Let's dance, but I'm not getting my Merge on until I know that the rest of the school is safe." Lizzie declared. "Everyone out. Now. You heard her. Let's go. Come on. Move." Monica called out, encouraging everyone to leave.

"For the record, this huge act of selflessness fully cancels out all of my previous misdeeds." Lizzie quickly said. "No, it doesn't!" A random student responded back which caused the blonde to frown. "Just ignore them." Jordan sighed.

Hope looked to Ruby, who looked battered and bruised. "Babe, can you please go also?" The tribrid asked awkwardly. Ruby frowned, "What? Hope, why?" The werewolf asked. The Mikaelson sighed, "I.. I don't want you to get hurt. Jo could suddenly turn on you and—" Ruby nodded, "Okay babe." She replied.

The pinkette knew that the others would be safe if Josie suddenly turned on them and killed them. Monica would resurrect, regarding her heart wasn't ripped out. Hope would turn into a full tribrid and Jordan... he had used magic to make sure that if he was killed, he'd come back. Ruby would just be dead. After all, Hope's blood was out of her system.

The werewolf faced Hope, "I'll see you soon?" She asked as Hope nodded, "Of course, baby." She smiled. With that, Ruby turned to leave.

"Enough of this foreplay. It's time for the main event. You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this." Josie declared. "Apparently, not long enough to think of something clever to say." Monica scoffed, earning a laugh from Jordan.

The Gemini witches linked their hands before they chanted together, "Sanguinem desimilus, sanguinem generis fiantus. Sanguinem desimilus, sanguinem generis fiantus. Sanguinem..."

"You really think she can win?" Jordan asked Monica and Hope, worriedly. Monica nodded, "Absolutely." She declared without hesitation. "If she can't, let's pray plan B works." Hope added reassuringly.

"Sanguinem generis fiantus. Sanguinem desimilus, sanguinem generis fiantus. Sanguinem desimilus, sanguinem generis fiantus. Sanguinem desimilus..."

The trio watched in surprise as lights began to flicker. Blood dripped from the Saltzman's twins linked hands. When they opened their eyes, they were completely whitened over.

"Is she winning?" Hope asked suddenly as Monica's jaw dropped. "I.. I don't know." She admitted. The Saltzman twins suddenly let go of one another, before their bodies fell to the floor.

Alaric suddenly entered the gym as he took in everything that he just saw. "Girls. God. Girls. No, no." He blurted as he raced over to Lizzie's side.

Josie sat back up, causing Monica to gasp in shock. "No!" She cried out. "Don't cry, Dad. One less mouth to feed." Josie said to Alaric who was cradling Lizzie in his arms.

Ruby and Landon approached the docks, where they found Rafael, tying himself to a heavy object. "What are you doing?" Ruby asked, as they raced over to him.

Rafael looked to the pair, "You wouldn't understand." He insisted. "We are maybe the only people who could understand." Landon replied to his foster brother.

"Rafi, I don't know what's going on. Whatever you did, we'll stand by you." Ruby said softly before the Kirby added, "All in." Rafael just looked at them, still not sure.

"There's no one you could have hurt. There's nothing you could have done that would make me turn my back on you." Ruby assured him, "You're my twin.. my best friend— you can tell me anything... so please tell me, what is going on?" She pleaded.

"Someone did die by that tree, Lan." Rafael said, facing Landon who seemed to understand what the boy was saying. Ruby gave a confused look, as she didn't know what they were talking about.

"It was me." Rafael finally admitted. With realisation, Ruby shook her head, "No.. Rafi.. You can't be dead. That doesn't make any sense." She blurted out. Rafael sighed, "The blood, the flashes... it definitely didn't make sense when I saw my face on that platter. But then I heard his voice on the intercom, and then it clicked. It all came back to me. I remembered."

"I got attacked coming back from my Dad's. I fought, then I ran. The Necromancer killed me, Ruby. And that means if he... if he brought me back, then I'm... I don't know... I'm one of his puppets, like Cassie was, and he can use me to hurt you, Landon and anyone else that he wants." Rafael explained as Ruby shook her head in disbelief. She looked to Landon, who was also struggling to process this all.

"No. I refuse to believe any of this." Landon stated. Rafael reached out and grabs Landon's hand, before placing it on his chest. "Do you feel a heartbeat? I'm already gone."

Landon's eyes filled with tears, indicating to Ruby that Rafael indeed had no heartbeat. Her eyes filled with tears, before she raised a hand to cover her mouth in shock.

"Well, we can't let you do this." Landon stated before Rafael replied, "That's the thing. I had all the time I needed to do it before you got here. But it's like he won't let me. It's like The Necromancer's in control. So I need you two to take care of it for me."

Ruby shook her head again in disbelief, "Take care of— You mean to kill you? Uh... Absolutely not. You're my brother." She insisted, as tears were rushing down her cheeks now. "And I don't have free will, Ruby. And you do. You do. Don't let me be a puppet, please." Rafael pleaded, before he glanced to Landon, "You have free will. Use it. Please."

Suddenly Landon grimaced in pain as he clutched his hand over his heart. "I can't really do this right now." The Phoenix said. "Landon?" Ruby blurted out, with worry. "What's going on?" Rafael demanded. "Plan B." Landon answered m, before he fell to the ground and died.

Monica sat in a chair, facing a couch where Lizzie lay asleep. "It won't be long now, if it worked." She said to MG, who sat next to her.

MG looked down at his hand, to find Monica squeezing it tightly. "Sorry." The Montgomery quickly said as she loosened her grip. "You really care about her." MG stated, with a small smile. Monica nodded, before locking eyes with MG. "Lizzie is special."

Suddenly Lizzie gasped for air, before sitting up. "Oh, thank God." Monica said, letting go of MG's hand as she raced to hug her girlfriend. Kaleb (who stood nearby) spoke up, "Got to give it to Hope. Hell of a plan."

Alaric raced over and hugged Lizzie also. MG got to his feet and hugged the trio. "I love you guys. Okay, I'm sorry." He said, letting go of them as he felt as though he ruined the moment.

"Dad, what's going on?" Lizzie asked Alaric, as he and Monica let go of her. "You're alive, sweetheart. And that's all that matters right now." Alaric declared. "That means that I won, that— that I... Josie's fine." Lizzie stated, relieved.

Monica shook her head, "Josie thinks she won. But, uh, Hope had a plan B." Lizzie gave her girlfriend a confused look. "The potion she made wasn't just to keep your mind separate from Jo's. It linked your life to Landon's temporarily. So when you died, he died, too. But since he's immortal, you came back when he did." MG explained to the Saltzman.

Monica took Lizzie's hand, "Hope thinks we can get Josie back." She admitted. "How?" Lizzie asked quickly. "That's where your boy MG came in the clutch." MG piped up before Alaric and Monica spoke in unison, "Calm down."

"I helped Hope and Jordan do an old-fashioned vampire head dive. That's why you had to go through with the Merge." MG began to explain. "Hope needed Josie to be vulnerable. Josie's shields were down, so I sent Hope and Jordan into Josie's mind. And then I juked them out of there before anybody knew what we were doing." He concluded.

"Why didn't anyone tell me?" Lizzie frowned. "We couldn't risk Josie figuring out the plan when the two of your minds melded in the Merge." Monica explained to her girlfriend. "So... Jordan and Hope are in Josie's mind?" The Saltzman asked, as Monica nodded.

Alaric cleared his throat, "Yeah. There's, um, more... to that." He said as he opened a secret door to reveal Hope and Jordan, who were both lying unconscious on a couch.

"Lizzie, till they come back, no one else can know you're alive. The Necromancer's spying on us, so... we have to play to his camera." Alaric said, as Lizzie nodded hesitantly. Monica squeezed her hand gently.

As the Waithe twins sat beside Landon's dead body waiting for him to wake up, Rafael asked "So, you gonna tell me what that was all about?" Ruby faced her twin, "Hope needed a plan B." She said. The pinkette then placed her hand over Rafael's, "We'll find one for you, too. I promise." She insisted, as she refused to give up on him.

"You know.. I just couldn't bring myself to leave." Rafael admitted. Ruby smiled with relief but Rafael cleared up "No, Ruby. I mean that I couldn't leave. The Necromancer wouldn't let me." He stood up now. Ruby shook her head as she got to her feet, "Listen to me, Rafi. We won't let him win. We'll deal with him together. Okay?"

Rafael chuckled, "Do I have a choice?" He then asked. Ruby giggled, "None. All in. You and me against the world, Rafi." Rafael smiled, before he reached forward to bring Ruby in for a hug. Ruby hugged her twin back tightly. They then broke apart upon hearing Landon suck in a sharp breath as he had resurrected. Ruby smiled at her foster brother, "Welcome back to the land of the living." She grinned.

The pinkette then turned back to face her twin whose eyes were whitened over. "Rafi?" She asked with concern, but then Ruby flinched in shock as she was stabbed in the heart, with a golden arrow that had been soaked in wolfsbane.

"Ruby!!" Landon shrieked as he got to his feet. Ruby's eyes were wide and though she knew Rafael wasn't in control, her brown eyes looked betrayed.

"It's like you said... no choice." Rafael said, before turning to Landon. He let Ruby's dead body fall to the ground before he rushed towards Landon, and stabbed the golden arrow into his abdomen, causing him to die also.
