Epilogue

Troye's POV

"Mr. Flynn, They're here," George, my secretary said.

I am at my office, finishing the pending paperwork for the day, well, I was doing it in a rush.

"Send them in," I said as I signed the contract that I was reading. I looked at him and nodded.

"By the way, should I order you, your lunch sir?" He asks, I shook my head and smiled.

When Tammy and I got married, she would always bring me lunch here and we would both have lunch together.

She's a superwoman, she can manage their company, cook meals, and have fun at the same time.

But, I told her to focus on our children more, after she gave birth to them. That's why I would ask George to order me some lunch sometimes, well, most of the time I would come home to have lunch with my family.

"No, thank you. I'm going to eat lunch with my family. Please clear all the meetings for the rest of the day, I've got something more important to do, and the things I told you to buy? Are they already in my car?" I smiled at him, he immediately nodded.

"Yes sir, everything is settled, please tell Mrs. Flynn congratulations on both of you!" He said. I nodded, and said my thanks.

After a few seconds, I've heard a knock.

"Hey! what's up, my handsome cousin?" I rolled my eyes before looking at her with a grin.

"Tina, what are you doing here?" I asked as I looked behind her, she was not what I was expecting.

"Oh please, didn't you miss me?" she said before sitting on the desk.

"Again, what are you doing here?" I asked, her eyes widen.

"Oh shoot! I almost forgot my job! My husband, I mean my boss is here, he just wanted me to go in first, he went to the bathroom because it takes forever to wait outside." She said, I rolled my eyes, at the same time, the door swung open. Tina immediately stood up and sat at the couch in my office.

"Devian." I muttered, slightly grinned. I extended my hand to him.

"Troye. What's up man?" He asked, extending his hand, I chuckled.

"What took you here?" I asked, and shakes his hand.

"Nothin much, I just wanted to personally ask you, if you would allow me to invest in your company," He said. I grinned.

"Of course, for old time's sake," I said

"Yeah, for old time's sake," He repeated.

He sat at the chair infront of me and placed the envelop that he was holding. We then, discussed the terms and conditions before handling me the contract.

I looked at the clock and realized that we kind of over timed.

"Is that all?" I blurted out.

"Yes," He said slowly. looking at me with his eyebrows up.

"I'm sorry, that was so unprofessional, I just had an urgent meeting at twelve p.m." I said, he sigh and nodded.

We both gets up and shakes our hand, I immediately fixed my body bag, when he suddenly spoke.

"How's is she?" he asked. I looked at him and smiled.

"She's doing good, she's very much happier now," I said and zipped my body bag.

"I'm, I'm glad to hear that," He said, then called Tina, his secretary and went out of my office.

After years, Devian and I made amends and agreed to be professional, we're on the same industry, and we should me matured enough to handle everything.

Well, I'm glad he changed for the better, but I know that he still has the guilt from what he did, I heard that he tried going for therapy because he can't handle his emotions before, but, he is now doing great.

I rushingly went out of my office and went straight to the parking lot where my car is located. I didn't even bother smiling at my employees because I was running.

I hopped inside the car and drive to my friend's shop for something that I ordered.

"Do you have it already?" I asked him, he nodded and took out the velvet box that I was looking for, I opened it and smiled.

"She's going to love this, Where do I sign?" I said, he handed me the papers that I would sign and shook my hand.

"Uhm sir, here is your request," He said, like he suddenly remembers something, she took out the bouquet and give it to me.

"Thank you for this, I'm heading now," I said.

I ran to my car and looked at the clock, it's already twelve o' five, luckily, our house is already near.

I honked outside our gate and wait for them to come outside, I already saw my son's bored look, there are too possible reasons for that look, it's either he's mad that I'm late or he's mad about something.

I think it's the latter...

And there, I saw my wife, holding Mandie's hand. She was stunning, even with her simple dresses, everything looks elegant to her.

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting, I just had a meeting that consumes a little too much of my time," I said when they got inside the car, Tammy smiled and kissed my cheeks.

"It's okay, it's just eight minutes. And we are not that hungry. So, where are we going today?" She asked, I started to drive.

"I actually brought three baskets with me, I had George arrange those before getting here, Are you up with picnic for lunch? or would you like to eat somewhere?" I asked.

"Picnic for lunch is fine, as long as it's on our favorite spot beside the fish pond, right kids?" She asked the kids and they all squealed in delight.

I held her hand as we drove to our favorite spot.

"We're here, kids you may now go out of the car, Hon, please lead them for a while, I'll take care of the baskets and the other stuffs," I said, She nodded and ushered the kids outside. I looked at my pocket and smiled.

I hope she'll love it...

I took out the baskets of food and head near them, I also placed the blankets on the ground to arrange everything.

"Let me help you with that, Theo, Thalia! keep an eye on Mandie!" She commanded them, they immediately nodded held Mandie's hand.

When we're done fixing the blankets, we both sat there and watched our kids playing.

"Do you think we should call them already?" She asked.

"I think, not. They're still playing tag." I said, she then nodded and lean her head of my shoulders.

"Before I forgot, I've got you something." I said and took out the bouquet of fake flowers out of the basket near me and the velvet box on my pockets.

"Happy Anniversary hon! to more years with you..." I said and kissed her cheeks.

"Happy Anniversary hon! thank you for everything, I love you..." She said, I hugged her from the side.

"Don't worry the bouquet is fake, because Mandie is allergic to pollen grains." I smiled. She laughed.

"And here is my second gift," I said, while showing her the velvet box, she opened it and smiled, it was a white gold chained necklace with an emerald pendant.

"Did you like it?" I asked, she smiled at me.

"You know that I love everything you gave me, thank you for this," She then leaned and kissed me before hugging me tight.

"I'm sorry I forgot my gift at home," She said.

"You shouldn't have bothered, you're already the greatest gift I've got, you and our children," I said, she hugged me tighter.

"I know, but I wanted to give you everything I can, just like what you are doing to me," She said, I pinched her nose

"Thank you hon, for putting up with me, I know I owe you a lot, because my job is eating too much of my time, but I'll promise to do better," I said.

"I understand, and you don't need to do better, because for me, you're the best," she said, I can feel my ears turning red.

"You guys are getting cheesier as the day goes by," I heard Theo said beside me, I think they were watching us,

"Do you want to eat already?" Tammy asked them,

"No, but we want you to join us play tag," Thalia said while grinning,

"Oh no, you know your mother runs like a sloth," I said, trying to challenge Tammy.

I looked at Theo and winked at him.

"Oh really? you wanna bet??" She asked and started to get up.

"Oh! I'm scared!" I acted, she then pushes me and yelled.

"You're it! children stay away from daddy!" she said and started to run with Thalia and Mandie, while Theo ran on the other side, I laughed.

Seeing Tammy laughed at her fullest is the greatest gift and achievement that we had accomplished. I am proud of what she is now, my woman is strong, she's been through a lot, and she deserves all of the smiles and laughs that she's going to make.

When I saw her on that university, I knew already that she deserves the whole world, and I should be the one giving it to her.

"I'm counting one to Ten before I run, make sure I won't touch you!" I shouted while grinning.

Watching them like this makes me happy. So happy.

Tammy's POV

"And you know what happen at school mom??" Theo, my 14 year old son said. I furrowed my eyebrows to listen carefully on what he is saying.

We are now sitting on the blanket that we had placed on the grass, Theo was beside me fixing his shoes because the lace got loosen a bit after the tag.

I just asked them what happen at school yesterday, I feel satisfied whenever they tell me something about their life.

His brows were arched, and close to forming a one line.

He is that mad?

Troye on the other hand is playing with my hand, drawing small circles in it, while probably listening to Theo.

"There's this nerd dude trying to hit on Thalia!" He beamed while looking at me. I noticed Troye stiffened and stopped playing with my hand.

Here goes the protective one...

"No, he wasn't! First of all, Yves is my friend. Second, just because he is smarter than you and wearing thick lense glasses doesn't mean that he is a nerd..."

"That makes him a nerd," I heard Theo mumbled.

"Lastly, he is not trying to hit on me, he's fun to hang out with, and we're too young with all those dating stuff," Thalia, his twin sister retorted. Yes, twins. Well, my mom said it's not surprising because I've had two pair of twin aunts.

We all knew she's been listening, but Theo might not notice that she heard him. I wanted to laugh whenever they were arguing, but Theo would be mad and think I was taking Thalia's side.

"He is! I am a guy, I know when a guy likes a women," I heard Theo said, and then took a bite on his sandwich.

"Kids, stop it, you two. Theo, Thalia's right, you are too young for those kinds of stuffs and I know you wouldn't let Thalia date someone." I said, Theo just shrugged and didn't say a word.

"Mom, what's dating?" I heard Mandie, my seven years old daughter asked. She was tugging the hem of my shirt while looking at me with her round-innocent eyes. She then, raise her hand while holding her favorite head band.

"You'll know it when you get older, you want me to put that on your hair?" I said, she then nodded.

"Thalia, just tell me if someone's courting you, I wanted to hear it from you, not from someone else, and Theo, good job son. Always keep an eye on your sisters." Troye said out of nowhere. I tugged him and whispered.

"You're just going to add wood in the fire," I whispered.

"Of course dad, that's my job as the first born," Theo answered arrogantly,

"Only by 2 minutes, we're twins Theo, mat I remind you," Thalia butted in, that made us all laughed.

Seeing my own family like this, is so much for a dream come true.

Looking back, I remembered when I thought to myself that maybe, my dream to become a mom and have a happy family will forever remain as a dream.

After I met Troye again for the second time, I had hope. I felt relieved, like I got the second chance to fix my life for the better.

And I just can't imagine myself having this kind of life with anyone, with Troye, I found hope, and a new reason to fight and believe that everything would be alright.

I am now contented, so complete.

THE END.

Thank you so much guys! To all who made this far, I am so thankful for those who patiently waited for this ending
