Tammy's POV

"Where are you taking me?" I asked Troye, he made me cover my eyes with an eye mask, he told me that we are going somewhere fun.

"It's a surprise, don't take the cover away or else you will spoil the fun," He said, I can imagine him grinning widely.

It has been 2 weeks since I last talked to Devian, yes, I was kinda dumb to invite him on our wedding after he confessed what he felt, I wasn't really thinking straight that day. He texted me a goodbye text and apologizes because he didn't formally said goodbye the day he left me at the restaurant.

Well, after the talk, I felt sad and guilty. I knew Troye felt that, I tried to lift up my mood but guilt was eating me. I wasn't used to turning down people, because I grew up uplifting other people, agreeing to their concerns, and giving chances.

I am aware that nobody deserves what I had gone through, but I chose to forgive him and not to hold grudges, I am aware that nothing is going back to normal between Dev and I because forgiveness does not always mean that we had to reconcile. I am doing this because I wanted to start something new with Troye and I won't let my past keep haunting me.

And as for Devian, I hope that he would find his own happiness, the one whom he will love and will love him back the way that he deserves, I knew that he's already changed, a good change in fact, and I'm wishing for him to keep doing good and move on from everything.

I took a deep breath and erased what's bugging me, I have to think about how to tell Troye what I just found out recently. Well, that thought made me a lot more nervous than I was excited for the surprise that he planned.

"You're making me nervous, you know?" I jokingly said, he just chuckled and held my hand tightly.

"You'll love it, don't worry," He replied, I can feel his heartbeat from his pulse, it was rapid, he's excited.

We were walking for about five minutes already, and I am getting more curious about this surprise of his. I never get used to his surprises, but he always makes sure that it was something sweet and something that I would love. 

There is this one time after my last session with my psychologist, he surprised me with a bouquet of roses and even bought a new comfy clothes for me to wear, He used his pick up truck and placed blankets, coolers, and anything that a movie night needed at the back of the car, he made it so special for me, we watched my favorite movies even though I already know all the lines. He is aware that I am not a fond of elegant dinner nor fancy thingies so his efforts are always on point and made sure that his plans were clever and sweet.

"We are already here," he announces and lets go of my hand slowly. "You can now take off your blindfold,"

I slowly took off my blindfold and blinked for a little bit, I noticed that we were at the clubhouse of the subdivision, he rented one of the biggest gazebos in it. There are a lot of fairy lights from where I am standing, he ran towards the table and stood at the entrance of the gazebo while holding a bouquet on his right arm. I slowly walked towards him and smiled.

"I knew you were feeling upset, and I hope this dinner would make you feel better," he said while scratching the back of his head, I smiled widely and jumped on him to hug him tightly, I kissed him on his lips a little longer before looking at him directly.

"Thank you love," I said while grinning, I wonder if he would be surprised about what I found out last Monday, I think it would be the best time to tell him the great news. 

He sets up a steak and wine dinner in front of us, it was the best.

"You cooked this, right?" I asked as I tasted the steak, he really cooks well and for years that he's been cooking for me, I can already distinguish if it was made by him. 

He just smiled widely at me.

We talked about a lot of things, he asked me about how am I feeling lately, I can literally tell everything to Troye without him getting bored, he listens to me very intently and also me whenever he was speaking, I noticed that he wanted me to talk more because he wants to lift up my mood by helping me express what was bugging me the whole week.

"...and then last Sunday Beau gave me a card that contains all of her drawings that includes us, she said she drew those whenever we send her gifts every occasion, I will show it to you tomorrow," I shared, Beau is a sweet little girl just like Josh when we were little.

He chuckled and nodded, "She's so sweet, I already missed baby sitting her even though she always wanted me to carry her on my back," he laughed at that thought,

"It means only that she really likes you!" I chuckled,

"And she also likes to strangle me from my back," He continued then laugh ridiculously

When the laughter died, we both went silent, that's when I remembered something.

"Uhm,Troye..." I called his attention because he was about to take a bite of his steak, he looked at me with so much adoration, his eyes yells excitement on what I will tell next,

"What are your thoughts about having a child?" I asked, I played with my fingers then looked at them, I can imagine his eyebrows raising up,

 "You know that I always wanted to have a child, especially with you," He said, I looked up to him, he was already grinning.

"Last Monday, I went to my OB-Gyn because I was late, I thought it was pretty normal because I was late most of the time, but it was already three weeks and my normal late was three to four days, so I took a pregnancy test last Monday and it turns out to be positive..." His mouth left hang open, he was surprised.

"Y-You are pregnant?" He asked, I nodded, "I went to my OB to confirm it, she said I am already five weeks pregnant," I said. My doctor told me that there are cases like mine that the pregnancy symptoms are late.

He stood up to his chair and slowly went outside the gazebo, he was walking back and fourth.

"YES!!!!!" He shouted. "I'M GOING TO BE A FATHER!!!" he jumped five times while screaming, I felt me eyes watered, He looked at me before running towards me, I stood up to hug him but he carried me while holding me tightly, he put me down and placed his head on my tummy.

"Hey little champ? how are you there? I am already excited to meet you, you're going to be a daddy's boy I can assure that," He whispered, I laughed.

"How sure are you that it is going to be a boy?" I asked while looking at him, he stood up straight and looked at me with a wide grin, "Instincts," he answered boastfully. I slightly smacked his head and laughed.

"What was that for?" he asked me while scratching the back of his head, "Silly, your instincts didn't even work to know that I was pregnant," He just smiled, then hugged me.

"I'm so happy Tammy, thank you for making me happy," He whispered on my ears. 

"No, thank you for making me happy, I thought that I could never feel this way again, because I already accepted that my happiness already ended eight years ago, but, you proved me wrong" and then, I cupped his face and gives him a kiss.

The next day, we gathered up both of our families to spread the news, they were shocked and took a few seconds to process the news, I wanted to laugh when I saw how my parent's jaws dropped like they ate a hot dish.

Two weeks had passed and the wedding is already a day ahead, everyone is so excited.

"It's sad that we cannot drink booze," Chloe snorted, I laughed at her reaction.

We are now preparing for my bridal shower, Well nothing's grand, I told them that we are just going to have a movie night and some games, they were kind of disappointed because I told them that I cannot drink any kind of alcoholic beverages, later on,  they told me that they were already planning to make me wasted, I laughed at them and told them my condition that makes them understand. I only invited my cousins and especially my best friend Chloe, because I wanted to keep it private.

I know it's pretty boring but we do had fun, we had a lot of catching up to do that's why the fun and excitement never dies.

The rooms are quite messy because of the games, although we didn't drink, my girls made it extra special for us, they set up disco lights and kinda loud music so we can feel the vibe in the club, except that we only drink juice, soda, and water. Well water for me.

"You know what Tams, it's been years since I saw you laughing like that, I thought that I would never see you smile again, I'm happy for you," Chloe suddenly said while we were cleaning up the kitchen, my cousins already left since they already clean the other rooms that we used, while Chloe and I volunteered to clean the kitchen.

"I never thought that I could be happy again actually, When Dev and I got married, I accepted the fact that maybe I wasn't meant to be happy, though I thought I will be because I wasn't aware that he'd turn out like that. After Troye came back, my life suddenly has it's own meaning, everyday I will wake up with him beside me is like a dream, having someone that actually cares about you is one of the reason why a person is happy, that's what I realized after years of searching for my happiness, I can now finally say that I am contented." I said while smiling and continued to wash the dishes.

"You really deserved someone like Troye, I knew you two would end up well, He's like your soulmate, and he's been crushing on you since college! you never noticed that of course," she said while laughing, I looked at her with disbelief.

"See? you really never noticed!" She continued chuckling.

"You noticed and yet you didn't tell me," I said.

"Who am I to tell you about his feelings? it's his feelings not mine, I shouldn't be the one to tell you that, and for the record he told me that he was the one anonymously sending you notes in your office's desk for the past years, but you never opened them, well, you're excused because you cannot even come out of your house back then," She said. 

I looked at her with confusion, she did not continued talking because she might let something slip on her mouth, that's her when she suddenly stopped talking, I got curious about the letters, maybe I would ask Troye about those sometimes.

I continued to wash the dishes and made my night routine after, Chloe stayed the night saying that she wouldn't want me to sleep here alone, my mom will come tomorrow morning to help me get dressed, tomorrow is a big day. 

The day that I have been waiting for, My wedding with Troye Marcus Flynn.
