A/N: like always this is a Death POV. So it's kinda confusing when you look at Natsu POV in third person but Deaths one in first person so sorry before hand if it confuses you. Btw deaths name is Zeira for those who forgot.

Chapter Six
****

Greetings, my fair children. It has been long since I continued this tragedy. Excuse my tardiness. It is not a trait that I wish to fashion. A lackadaisical persona is what I detest about myself. Alas, Mavis created me with way. The onus is on her to at least fix me. Her insolent ways. I scoff. So blame her!

In any manner, the two Keepers have finally met. For now, let us view their second encounter...

Natsu paced back and forth outside the gate Palace of Lumen Histoire. Mavis' domain. Where the summit of the Winter Solstice would be held. The only time he was allowed in Heaven.

Natsu had not attended these meetings since the days he was considered the most perfect angel. Back when Heaven was his home. Although we all know that was aeons ago. Closer to the beginning of time.

It is not that Natsu was timorous or anxious. He was simply excited.

Gray- Guardian of Order, Keeper of Time and Mavis' new favourite angel- would be attending this meeting.

Natsu finally mustered up some courage and strolled right in through those gates. He did not trouble himself in caring. He wasn't bothered with all the eyes turning in his direction. His eyes drifted around until he finally saw his throne. A throne that had not been sat on since it was first bloody made! He ambled along the tiled floors as a small smirk tugged at the sides of his lips. He perched himself on the his Throne of Fire and turned his head towards Mavis' direction, since she sat on the main throne, at the centre.

"It is a pleasure to finally see you attend these meetings." Mavis exclaimed as she clapped her hands together.

"Thank you for having me, Mavis." Natsu simply replied, giving a courtly nod.

The throne room was set out so that thrones would be set out next to each other on each side. And one main throne at the end and centre. Where Mavis sat.

I, Death, was attending this summit. So I know first hand what went down that night ;)

"Natsu~ Man, I haven't seen you in ages~" Loke sang as he stood by Lucy, Lady of the Stars, throne. He was a constellation himself. Lucy slapped his arm for such an outburst.

"Why did you come here?" Laxus, King of Storms asked. His stoic image and aloof self was partly amusing for Natsu. As Death, may I interject a sly comment. How does someone like Laxus, someone with such power and authority. Lose it all when he reveals how head over heels he is for Freed, Lord of Greenery. Charming.

"It does not concern you."

Laxus simply scoffed at the poor reply. Freed reached out an arm to the throne beside his own and rested his hand on Laxus' forearm, an attempt to calm him.

"He has his own reasons, we do not need to ask." Zeira said. I sat on the first throne left from Mavis. (Zeira- the dashingly beautiful girl- that's me)

"However he cannot just barge in here expecting open arms." Erza, Lady of war muttered, scowling in Natsu's direction.

"What did you expect? Fallen angels are fools after all!" Wendy, Lady of the Wind, chuckled into her hand as, Chelia and Romeo- her two most trusted advisors- gave her a disapproving stare. I wondered if there was anything going on with those three...

"Hey. Shut up!" Sting yelled back.

Sting- Day- was Natsu's lackey. Much to Rogue's- Night- displeasure. Whenever Natsu wanted something important. He simply had to ask Sting. To be fair, I am quite certain, that Sting is one of the only people Natsu liked. He didn't mind Rogue too. However other than those two. He loathed everyone else in that room.

Well, other than one other person....

"Sting, quiet." Rogue ordered. Sting slumped back in his throne with a small pout plastered on his lips. Rogue gave him a small smile and Sting sat back up grinning. It took all of my power to not coo at the sight before me. And I could see others, including Natsu, trying to contain themselves. They were so cute! "I am sorry Natsu-san, for everyone's ill mannered behaviour. Natsu-san, please make yourself feel welcomed and at home."

"At home...?" If it wasn't for the fact that Rogue had said that, Natsu would of flipped a table. This was not his home. These people had abandoned him! However he heeded Rogue's words and nodded at him. "Very well."

"Mavis... May we continue with the meeting at hand." Jellal, King of the Heavens and Sky asked politely. He probably contemplated the fact that if he changed the subject quick enough it would reduce the chances of an all out brawl.

"Ah yes." Mavis simply said. It seems she was getting elated to see some drama~. Her miserable face made my heart sink. I frowned at the sight. But quickly regained myself. I could not let anyone know of my past attractions to her. I had moved on! Right?

Gray had not said a word since Natsu's arrival. Mavis placed her eyes on him and noticed he was looking at his feet. His fingers twirling and coiling around his sin black hair. He was biting his lip and completely trying to avoid any and all gazes.

"Gray...?" Mavis said causing all eyes on him which is exactly the opposite of what he wanted. Gray looked up instantly, his eyes darting around the room. Natsu discreetly titled his head downwards for small flames began to flicker around his cheeks.

"Hm?"

"Would you like to continue with what you were saying?"

"A-Ah... Haha... Erm... Yeah s-sure..." Gray fumbled around with his words causing everyone to be speechless. Usual confident and arrogant Gray was speaking gibberish. What on earth was going on? Everyone wondered. "Erm, so I think that... Erm we should totally not change anything with the weather patterns in the mortal world... Erm cuz... Erm.... Erm..." Gray's hands we're flying around his body as he tried to explain what he meant with his hands. His usual icy and cold body was beet root red. Steam was literally coming out of his ears.

Natsu on the other hand. Well, sadly his head caught on fire! Again!

Sting shot right up when he noticed his senpais head was on fire. He stepped back tripping on Rogue's feet causing himself to fall on Nights body.

"Sting-" Rogue voice was cut off by a certain Days body on him. (Day... Gay...? Hey! ^___^)

"Ah. Shit... My heads on fire again." Natsu muttered, cursing under his breath. He glazed back upwards to a certain Guardian of Time who was staring right at him. Lips pursed. Eyes bulged. Face crimson red.

"Hi again... N-Natsu..." Gray's voice lowered as he said his name. His hand shot up to his mouth ask covered it. He was now glaring at the floor as though it was an enemy he was supposed to slaughter.

"Hello!" Natsu a squeaked. His hand also coated his mouth as his head hung down in shame. How could he let a undignified noise leave his mouth.

"Am I missing something?" Lucy exclaimed as her delicate hand was shoved onto Loke's face as she endeavoured to evade one of his kisses.
