Brianna, or Brie as she prefers to be called, has been locked in Arkham Asylum for 4 years since she was 14. She may closing in on be 18 but her mind stopped aging around 4 to 6 years old. Different people have tried to figure out why her brain is like this. Her parents don't want her back until they have a daughter who acts close to her own age. 

Another psychologist has given up on trying to cure her. Now they have passed her off to Doctor Jonathan Crane in hopes that maybe he can help her more than anyone else has. Doctor Crane has different plans with the young girl who acts younger than she is.
