My sis read the story about Bulleti and decided to drew a concept art of these intelligent microorganisms. Here's the outcome ^.

Doctor Drew Caceres was standing in the corner, looking at fellow lab technicians, who were standing over the petri dish with Bulleti colony.

"Why are they talking with those microorganisms instead of working?" he thought, furious. Since they found out that Bulleti are intelligent like humans, everything became wrong. Microorganisms shouldn't have been able to build, talk and feel emotions. They were abominations, freaks of nature!

Luckily, he wasn't the only microbiologist to think that. His good colleagues also had the opinion that intelligent microorganisms are wrong. That they should do something before more people will know. For now, only microbiologists knew about true nature of Bulleti, but it was about to change quickly. People can not know about this, doctor had to hurry.

Doctor's thoughts were interrupted by emergence of Harvey - microbiology student, who was currently writing a master thesis under his supervision.

- Isn't it amazing doctor? I'll be the first to write master thesis about Bulleti! They even promised me they'll help me the best they can! - he exclaimed excitedly.

- But didn't you have another topic? - doctor asked.

- Yes, but I'll write an email to dean with request to change the topic of my master thesis - student replied.

- Now, now, don't do that yet - man said. Harvey was confused.

- But why? I really want to write about them - he mumbled.

- The world can't know what we discovered - doctor said firmly.

- Why is that so? - Harvey was surprised.

- What if people start to fight for Bulleti's rights? What if they think that injecting these microorganisms to human body is a type of slavery and will want to prohibit us from doing this? - Drew asked.

- Aren't you exaggerating doctor? I don't think that Bulleti would agree to stop helping us. They told me that cleaning veins is their life mission - student said.

- But what if they evolve into pathogens? If they understand what power are they actually wielding, they might use it to their advance and take control over us! - professor said. Harvey gasped.

- Do you think they would do that to us? - he asked.

- I'm sure! We've been treating them like common bacteria, they will want to get their revenge! After all, every creature is fighting to become the top of the food chain - man replied.

- What can we do about it? - student wondered.

- Leave it to me. I'll give them a little reminder that despite them being human-like, we're still above - he said and left the lab.

Cario was on the porch of his house and looking ahead at the new formed city. It was nice of Titans to give Bulleti necessary materials and instructions. They even helped erect the buildings with their tools.

Vedia noticed her friend and walked up to him.

- Hi Vedia, can you believe how quickly our city is blooming? - he asked her.

- All thanks to you. Without your courage and stubbornness, we would still be living like we used to - she replied.

- I know, right? I'm really happy that Titans are so eager to treat us like we're equal to them - he said.

- Yeah... - Vedia didn't sound so happy now. It worried Cario.

- What's wrong? - he asked her.

She was about to reply, but booming voice from above interrupted her:

- I'm looking for Bulletus named Cario.

Called Bulletus entered his house and having walked up to a microphone attached to one of the walls, said:

- It's me. What do you need?

- I'm doctor Drew Caceres. I need to talk to you urgently - voice said. Cario gasped.

- The most important Titan in the lab?! It's a honor to talk to you! - he exclaimed.

- No, no, I'm the one honored here. After all, you're incredible organisms - doctor replied.

- Okay, so what do I do now? - he asked.

- There's a pipette waiting outside for you. Enter it and we will have a talk eye to eye - doctor said.

- Okay! - Cario shouted excitedly and was about to leave, when Vedia grabbed his arm and whispered:

- Please be careful.

- Don't worry, I'll be fine - Cario replied and left his house.

To his eyes an enormous pipette appeared, waiting for him few inches away. He eagerly approached it and then entered it. He felt as the tool was lifted up and how Titan walked over to the microscope.

Pipette's entrance was then placed on the glass slide. Bulletus left the pipette and sat down, right under the objective.

- So, what did you want to talk about? - Cario asked politely.

- Are you the one who dared to reveal the truth about your true intelligence? - doctor asked. Bulletus straightened up proudly.

- Yes, it's me! - he exclaimed.

- Good... - man replied and then walked away from the microscope. He returned shortly after, carrying some liquid in the pipette.

- Hold out your arm - doctor ordered. Cario eagerly obeyed.

Man squeezed a microscopic droplet of the mysterious liquid on Cario's arm. Bulletus felt like there was a fire spreading through his body and much to his horror, his cell wall melted and his cytosol was dripping out of the wound.

- Why would you do that?! - he cried in unbearable pain.

- To show you what happens to those who like to stand out - man gnarled.

- But I don't understand! I thought you were happy discovering our intelligence! - Cario shouted.

- If you really thought that, it means that you're not as intelligent as you think - doctor replied - We didn't need to know more about you, than the fact that you clean our veins - he added.

- But you promised we're equal to you - Bulletus said.

- Equal to us? You're just a microscopic freak of nature, you'll never be equal to humans. We're above you in every aspect. Now you see what consequences you will face for being so insolent - doctor said and having took inoculation loop, walked over to the petri dish and sank the tool in the ground, but Cario couldn't see what he was really doing. He was too absorbed in the pain and was trying to regenerate his cell wall.

Soon doctor came back and pulling Bulletus to the pipette, said:

- If you tell anyone about our little talk, your colony will be wiped out of existence.

Cario was dumped on the petri dish. He groaned in pain and slowly got up, still clutching to his wound. He looked ahead and his pupils contracted in fear and disbelief.

Everything they have been working on so hard for the last few weeks, it was now crumbled into dust. Luckily, no one was hurt, they were standing in front of the destroyed buildings, looking at it with horror.

- No... - Cardio whispered and quickened his pace.

Vedia was the first to notice approaching Bulletus. She gasped, seeing the wound on his arm.

- Cario! - she cried and ran to him.

- What happened? - Bulletus asked, still not believing in what he was seeing.

- It's all your fault! - one Bulletus growled.

- Because of you and your stupid ideas, the most important Titan began to hate us! - another one shouted.

- You know that Titans can kill us with deadly liquid! Before you talked to them, everything was fine! Now our demise can happen anytime, since you angered their leader! - yet other Bulletus cried.

- How was I supposed to know that I'm doing something wrong? Everyone was happy when we began to talk with each other - Cario defended himself.

- Well, it seems that we were right all along! They never saw us as equals and never will! You should be happy that Titan still let us live! Now everything is going to be the way it used to be! - some Bulletus roared.

- But you can't live with us anymore. I'm sure it will anger the Titan more. Go and never go back! - another Bulletus cried, others accompanied him, shouting harsh words at Cario.

- No! He doesn't deserve this! - Vedia cried, helping Cario patch his cell wall with her cytosol. Bulletus took her hands and looked into her eyes.

- No, they're right Vedia. I'm the one who brought Titan's wrath down on us. I have to be banished, I don't want to hurt you more - he said and got up. Vedia grabbed his arm.

- Let me go with you - she pleaded. Bulletus shook his head.

- You won't survive without colony for long - he said firmly.

- Neither will you - she replied.

- Exactly - Cario said and dashed so fast, that Vedia didn't have any chances to chase him.

Bulleti simply began to clean up whatever was left from their city, leaving weeping Vedia alone.
