Chapter 52

"(F/N)?!"

"Katsuki-"

The entire area fell silent on your ears, Everything else slowly fading from sight as the blonde prince you had been searching for, came into view. You felt your blood run cold, your hands growing numb for a moment with a chill of excitement traveling down your body. It's him. He's...He's right here! Go to him! Your breath grew faster in a panicked happiness as your senses began to come back, your staggering turning into a sprint as you shouted Bakugous name again, tears forming in the corners of your eyes.

"Katsuki!!"

"(F/N)!!"

Bakugou threw the practice sword to the ground, stumbling over his own feet as he vaulted over the fence and raced towards you. His heart began to race as well, causing Kirishima to gasp and grab his chest from the shock. The redhead staggered and leaned back against the fence, holding himself up as tears formed in his eyes, cursing Bakugou under his breath for letting his emotions grow out of control so abruptly. Midoriya immediately moved to his side, checking if he was okay, but Kirishima only chuckled and shook his head, mumbling quietly.

"tӉДҋҜ tӉЄ ԌөԀЅ..."

Bakugou held out for you and you smiled widely, jumping into his arms and almost knocking both of you to the ground as the prince staggered to keep his balance. He tightened his hold on you, squeezing you as you kissed at his temple and cheek, your tears falling quickly. You began to cry and laugh as he spun you around, almost falling over and growing tangled in your cloak as it whipped around the both of you. He quickly caught himself, his breath ragged against your face as he kissed your cheeks over and over again, mumbling in his own language. Tears were barely starting to form in his own eyes as he stammered over his words, his voice cracking as he tried to hold back his emotions.

"(Ғ/ҋ), ԌөԀЅ, ӍҰ Sunset, Ұ-ҰөҴ'ЯЄ өҜДҰ. Ї ℓөѴЄ ҰөҴ Ѕө ӍҴҪӉ, good morning-"

"Katsuki, Ї ℓөѴЄ ҰөҴ, Ї'Ӎ өҜДҰ, Ї'Ӎ ЯЇԌӉt ӉЄЯЄ. I love you, G-Good morning."

"Ӊ-ӉөѠ ԀДЯЄ ҰөҴ Ԁө ЅөӍЄtӉЇҋԌ Ѕө...Ѕө ЅtҴҏЇԀ. ԌөԀЅ, Ї'ѴЄ ӍЇЅЅЄԀ ҰөҴ. Ї'ѴЄ ӍЇЅЅЄԀ ҰөҴ Ѕө ӍҴҪӉ-"

He kissed away your tears as you laughed at his hair tickling your face, trying to hold back your own crying as his voice grew more and more angry, knowing he was probably scolding you for causing the separation between you and him. You smiled and apologized over and over, continuously getting interrupted as Bakugou kissed you every other moment.

"Ї'Ӎ. Ѕө ЅөЯЯҰ. Ї ℓөѴЄ ҰөҴ, Katsuki. I'm so sorry-"

"Doun't cry, Sunset."

Your voice caught in your throat, hearing words you could understand, spoken in his broken, almost child-like accent. You loosened your hug on Bakugou, looking up and into his eyes as he stared back, looking fine at first, but seeing the glazed, watery look in his eyes as you sniffed, bringing your hand up to caress his cheek.

"ЈҴЅt doun't cry, ДҋԀ ҪөҋtЇҋҴЄ tө ЅӍЇℓЄ. ԌөԀЅ, Ї'ѴЄ ӍЇЅЅЄԀ ҰөҴЯ ЅӍЇℓЄ."

"Did you just...say something? In my language?"

"Doun't cry, okay? I love you. Take my hand."

Bakugou kissed your temple again, his own hand reaching up to hold yours as he kissed your hand, bringing it to his lips and breathing deeply.

"Ԁөҋ't ЄѴЄЯ ℓЄДѴЄ ӍҰ ЅЇԀЄ ДԌДЇҋ, (Ғ/ҋ)."

"ҰЄЅ, өҜДҰ. Ї ℓөѴЄ ҰөҴ."

He knew you didn't fully understand him, but you could tell what he was requesting just from his eyes. They were half lidded and dark, hidden in the shadows of his messy blonde hair, but the red hue shown so brightly, you could feel every second of his genuine concern.

"(F/N)!"

The familiar voice rang through your ears, making your head turn as Bakugou went to kiss you again, kissing your neck instead. Your eyes widened as Kirishima came into view, pushing past the others and jogging towards you and the prince.

"K-Kirishima!!"

You struggled out of Bakugous hold as best you could, kissing him once more before immediately jumping into the dragons arms the second he was close enough. He picked you up by your waist and spun you around like he had done so many times before, also growing tangled in your cloak. You began to sob, but Kirishima only hugged you tighter, making you smile and quiet down as you ruffled his hair and kissed his forehead.

"I-I thought...I thought you had, oh Gods, Kirishima, I'm so happy you're alive. You're alive! You both made it, I'm so sorry, I-"

"You don't need to apologize, I'm right here, see? I'm fine."

The haunting image of the demon you and Shoto had fought in the mountain forest, the one that had been plaguing your thoughts ever since, vanished from your mind. The nightmarish event of escaping Mirag, remembering Bakugous terrified expression, became nothing but a faded memory as Kirishima held you, making you cry even harder. A chilling relief ran through your body as you hugged him tightly, both of you trying to dry your own tears as Kirishima chuckled under his shaky breath.

"At least I hope I'll be. Bakugou is really, really excited right now, I feel like my heart is going to burst-"

You chuckled back as Bakugou pulled your attention to him, your own chest tightening as you once again saw the watery, reddened look in his eyes. He looked like he wanted to cry, but was forcing himself to hold back, making you laugh nervously through your own crying even more. You wrapped one arm around Bakugous neck and hugged him tighter, kissing him lovingly on the cheek, bumping your forehead against his and running your hand through his messy hair.

Kirishima eventually let you go, letting you hug Bakugou again before wrapping his arms around both of you, hugging you both together as Bakugou squeezed you tightly. The blonde continued to kiss you over and over as he whispered in your ear, his voice fighting against him and cracking from upsetting excitement.

"I-I want to make you happy. I love you so much. My Sunset, you're perfect. You're so, so perfect."

A deep red covered your face as your eyes trailed over to Kirishima, wincing as Bakugou bit your cheek and held you in place.

"Y-You're learning. Kirishima, he...he's been practicing-"

"He's asked me to teach him the things he wanted to say to you."

More tears formed in your eyes as you smiled, your heart stinging from the happy, and almost embarrassed feeling. Things he wanted to say to you? You leaned away from Bakugou as best you could and bit his cheek back gently, before burying your face in his neck and shaking in their arms, whispering loudly enough for the two boys to hear you.

"I missed you both so much. I...I don't want to lose you two again-"

"We never want to lose you either, Princess. БДҜҴԌөҴ, tЄℓℓ ӉЄЯ ӉөѠ ӍҴҪӉ ҰөҴ ℓөѴЄ ӉЄЯ."

Bakugou leaned closer, biting your cheek and kissing you softly as his red eyes stared deeply into yours, his thumbs brushing away your tears.

"I love you moor than anyone...than anyone could ever love anything. Please, please contenue to...to stae by my side."

You tried to hold back your pathetically childlike emotions, your lip quivering as you choked back a sob. You wiggled your hands away from his chest, trying to dry your eyes along with him as you apologized for crying so much.

"Please doun't cry, Sunset."

You nodded and tried your best to stop, wrapping your arms around Bakugous neck and sniffed, apologizing again as Kirishima laughed and squeezed you both within the hug.

"And don't apologize, (F/N), you're okay. Look, I'm crying too, see? Although, it's mostly because Bakugou is so emotional right now..."

Kirishima smiled weakly through his tears as he tried to cheer you up. You smiled back and chuckled, snaking one arm around Kirishima to hug them both. Bakugou continued to whisper the little compliments and promises he had learned, kissing your skin over and over as you and Kirishima cried together.

"I have so much to tell you both. I want to know everything that's happened."

"I think we all have a lot to talk about, but we-"

"But you should save it for the road."

You and Kirishima quieted down as you glanced over, seeing Yaoyarozu Momo standing there with her hands on her hips. It felt like forever since you had first met her. She glanced around herself, shouting to her soldiers for standing around and not working, waiting for the castle square to go back to normal. You looked around and blinked away your tears, seeing Midoriya and Uraraka whispering with Todoroki, checking to make sure he was okay and how he was. Kendo and Mina stood behind Yaoyarozu, while Monoma and Tetsutetsu climbed out of the carriage, helping gather the last of the material before coming over to join the quiet crowd.

"Lady Commander, what a pleasure to see you again-"

"Shh, not now, Neito."

Kendo shushed the blonde as he strolled over, quickly becoming aware of the tension as a smirk formed on his face. He slinked around the two girls and grinned at Todoroki, looking over to Midoriya and Uraraka.

"It's nice to see you two as well, Izuku, Ochako."

"Monoma, we haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?"

"Who cares about him, did you guys know that this Egabian girl and Prince Todoroki are elo-"

Kendo reached over and smacked Tetsutetsu on the back of the head, growling for him to shut up as he growled back. Yaoyarozu tilted her head and looked over to Todoroki, who quickly waved his hands and shook his head.

"Please, ignore them. (F/N) was the first to find me, we've been traveling together, but only for a few days-"

Todoroki glanced over to you, hesitant on how much he should say, not yet wanting to bring up the curse and scare everyone more than he had. You and Kirishima were slowly pulled from the reunion as the redheads arms fell away from you and Bakugou. The blonde kept hugging you, keeping his arms wrapped around your waist as you shifted in his hold, almost all of you trying to come back to attention. Kirishima nodded to Todoroki and smiled weakly, a bubbling jealousy rising inside him as Bakugou glanced over, his red eyes narrowing.

"Thank you, for taking care of (F/N) while we were separated, Todoroki."

"Ah, if anything, she took care of me. I would've been dead if it weren't for her."

"tӉДt ӉДℓҒ БДЅtДЯԀ..."

Midoriya and Uraraka both looked worried, growing even more concerned as Todoroki tried to reassure them, rubbing the back of his neck. Yaoyarozu stared at the prince, before looking over to you, a smile similar to Kirishimas forming on her face.

"Then we're all glad you were there for him, (F/N). Thank you."

"Th-There's no need to thank me, Shoto isn't giving himself enough credit. He also saved me-"

You waved your hands and chuckled nervously, Kirishima glancing down and finally noticing the new scars and scabbing wounds littered along your arms as they stayed hidden under your cloak. You didn't have those before. What...happened? Yaoyarozu opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted as Monoma spoke, his lips forming a smug grin.

"I think we'd all love to hear about your adventures, especially the eloping part-"

"Neito, I'm going to leave you here for Momo to work you to exhaustion."

The blonde waved his own hands and laughed loudly, with a hint of nervousness as Midoriya looked back at Todoroki, who shook his head and sighed.

"They found us along the road, but we weren't, we aren't, eloping. We were just traveling.-

"Ah, that's what they all sa-"

"Tetsutetsu I'll leave you here too!"

Kendo elbowed him as well and apologized to the prince, sighing quietly as Kirishima whispered a translation to Bakugou, the blondes eye twitching as he mumbled under his breath.

All three of you looked over to Mina, who stood there with her arms crossed before sneaking over to speak with Kirishima directly. You smiled weakly at her as Bakugou pulled you closer to him, and further from the pink tinted girl, mumbling something under his breath.

Mina paused for a second, leaning even closer as she nodded to the soldiers, all still secretly listening in.

Bakugou nodded and kissed your cheek again, pulling you along as he took a few steps back. Midoriya leaned over and spoke up, almost hesitant as he looked at Yaoyorozu.

"We really are sorry for everything we've done, Yaoyarozu. We'll leave as soon as possible, but I think Todoroki-"

"Shoto will leave too."

Everyone froze as Yaoyarozu spoke back, Todoroki noticing her shoulders shaking under her cloak as she held out a small scroll for him. Her eyes were trying to glare at the prince, but they were down at the same time, trying to avoid his heterochromatic gaze.

"It was nice to see you, and I'm sure you're tired of your travels, but...but I have an order, a-as Lady Commander-"

"It's okay, Yaoyarozu, please calm down."

Todoroki moved closer and patted her arms, the black haired girl sighing and calming her breathing. Tears almost formed in her eyes and a light, splotchy blush began to color on her cheekbones, but she shook her head, trying to appear as intimidating and professional as ever. Todoroki whispered something no one else could hear, instantly calming Yaoyarozu down, and you tilted your head. Maybe he really did like her? She sighed and nodded, hugging herself before holding the scroll out again.

"Thank you...for understanding."

"What's the order?"

"I need you to take these three to your father; those two, possibly all three of them, need their emigration badges."

Todoroki grimaced and took the parchment, Midoriya and Uraraka humming in understanding. He stepped back, looking over to the others as the brunette smiled, punching Todorokis arm in a playful manner.

"But we're going too, so we can travel together, just like before! Right Deku?"

She hit Midoriya with a little more force, making him wince as he smiled and nodded, blushing slightly from her excitement and rubbing his bicep.

"R-Right! The six of us can head to the capital together-"

"I think the three of us will fly, ДҰЄ, БДҜҴԌөҴ? ѠЄ ҪөҴℓԀ ҒℓҰ tө tӉЄ ҪДҏЇtДℓ ДҋԀ БЄ tӉЄЯЄ Їҋ ЈҴЅt Д ҒЄѠ ӉөҴЯЅ."

"БҴt (Ғ/ҋ) ӉДЅ ҏЯөБДБℓҰ БЄЄҋ ѠДℓҜЇҋԌ ҒөЯ ԀДҰЅ, ДҋԀ ҰөҴ-"

"We could always take a carriage! Yaoyarozu, could we buy-"

"Why pay for one when you can just travel back with us for free?"

Everyone looked over to Kendo as she interrupted the conversation, smiling and motioning to her own horse and carriage.

"Now that we aren't lugging around that metal, there's plenty of room for the nine of us."

The more everyone tried to figure things out, the more tired you grew. The excitement of finding Bakugou and Kirishima was still inside you, but the exhaustion from everything that had happened was beginning to hit you, making you sigh and turn back to cling onto Bakugou, whispering against his ear.

"Ї ℓөѴЄ ҰөҴ, ӍҰ ҏЯЇҋҪЄ. Ї'Ӎ Ѕө ЅөЯЯҰ, for leaving you..."

"Ԁөҋ't ДҏөℓөԌЇѯЄ ДҋҰӍөЯЄ. ҰөҴ'ЯЄ БДҪҜ ѠЇtӉ ӍЄ, ДҋԀ tӉДt'Ѕ Дℓℓ tӉДt ӍДttЄЯЅ. I love you, Sunset. No moor cry, okay?"

"...Okay."

"Good princess."

You smiled warmly as he tried his best to form his own sentences, more tears forming in your eyes and not even bothering to dry them as you leaned into Bakugou. Kirishima pressed his hand against his chest, exhaling and glaring slightly at the prince to calm try and down, before nodding over to Kendo.

"That actually sounds like a perfect idea. We'd really be in your debt."

"No, this isn't just for you guys-"

Kendo spun around to hide her small grin, Yaoyarozu blushing and sighing as her friend spoke, shaking her head in slight disappointment.

"I just really want to hear all the gossip too, and this is the perfect opportunity for that. Consider sharing all the drama, your payment."

Kirishima felt his eye twitch, but he nodded and smiled, looking over and translating for Bakugou.

Bakugou growled, his angry expression softening when you reached up and caressed his cheek, speaking quietly as Kirishimas eyes widened, before smirking and helping translate what you said.

"If we take the carriage, we'll have more time to rest together. I'll even let you hold me if you behave."

A blush dusted the princes cheeks, and he quickly scoffed and pinched your own, making you whine.

"ѠӉЄЯЄ tӉЄ ӉЄℓℓ ԀЇԀ ҰөҴ ℓЄДЯҋ tө БЄ Ѕө ԀЄӍДҋԀЇҋԌ, ӉДӉ?"

"ӉӍ, Ї ѠөҋԀЄЯ ѠӉЄЯЄ, БДҜҴԌөҴ."

Kirishima chuckled and waved to the others, hesitantly leaving your side to apologize to Yaoyarozu one more time. Bakugou kept his attention on you, growling as you laughed and patted his chest weakly, apologizing as best you could.

"It-It was just a joke, calm down-"

"Ї'Ӎ ҋөt ԌөЇҋԌ tө ҒДℓℓ ҒөЯ ҰөҴ ДҋҰ ҒҴЯtӉЄЯ, ЈҴЅt ЅӉҴt Ҵҏ ДҋԀ ЅtДҰ ҴҋԀЄЯ ӍҰ ДЯӍ, ℓЇҜЄ Д ԌөөԀ ѠЇҒЄ."

"Д ѠӉДt?"

"...ҋөtӉЇҋԌ."

The others all began to crowd again, watching Kendo feed the horses as Monoma and Tetsutetsu climbed into the carriage. Bakugou said something in his own language, scoffing as he pulled on your cheek, clearly teasing you for something, and making you growl playfully. Smiling as you scoffed back, you pinched Bakugous cheek as well, tugging on it until he shouted and swiped your hand away. You laughed and ruffled his messy hair, humming happily when Bakugou let out a breathy sigh and quickly pulled you back into a tighter hug. You heard his breath soften, muttering something to himself.

"ԌөԀЅ, Ї'ѴЄ ӍЇЅЅЄԀ tӉДt."

You hummed louder as he squeezed you, eventually hitting him weakly to let you go, but smiling widely and not even growing more embarrassed as Kirishima glanced over, his eyes growing half lidded as the love from their connection began to overwhelm him. Dreaming is enough. The redhead moved closer and leaned his body against Bakugous playfully, almost causing the Prince to lose his balance and chuckling as he nodded towards the empty carriage.

Bakugou clicked his tongue and slowly let you go, keeping one arm wrapped around you as he shrugged Kirishima off of him. He began to move towards the carriage, ignoring anything anyone else was saying, as he repeatedly mumbled your name, just like how he had done when you first met. You glanced back over and called out to Yaoyorozu Momo, who turned and tilted her head as you smiled.

"Th-Thank you for watching over them, Yaoyarozu. They would've been useless on their own."

The black haired girl blinked, and chuckled, nodding her head as you were pulled even further away. Mina slowly made her way back towards the Lady Commanders side, her arms once again crossed against her chest.

"Sө tӉat's tӉe EgaБЇan tӉat tӉe ҏrЇnce Їs sө өБsesseԀ wЇtӉ.."

"I...Gods, I feel bad for forcing them to leave..."

"They'll be okay!"

Uraraka moved closer as she dragged Midoriya behind her, her arm wrapped tightly around his. She smiled at the two girls, nodding over to the carriage as they watched Kirishima laughing, trying to offer you help as Bakugou shouted to let him help you, completely ignoring you as you tried to climb on by yourself, also shouting back.

"I think traveling in peace, and with a group, will be good for them. That way they aren't having to keep their guard up as much. They also won't be around here...No offense, Momo."

"That's...That is a good way to look at it, Ochako. And none taken, you're right; not everyone here is as...accepting still."

Yaoyarozu sighed glanced at Mina, who shrugged and looked away, glaring at a few soldiers that were still whispering about the carriage filled with Mirag, a Dragon, and an Egabian.

"TӉeҰ'ℓℓ ℓearn sөmeԀaҰ, ЇҒ Ұөu Бeat Їt Їntө tӉem ӉarԀ enөugӉ."

The Lady Commander rolled her eyes and shook her head, glancing over at Todoroki, who stared boredly at the scroll she had given him. His clothes were tattered, and even though they looked washed, there was a soft, barely visible blood stain covering his chest. What...happened? He looked up and smiled weakly at her, making Yaoyarozu immediately look away, calling for her guards to open the gates of her castle back up.

Midoriya and Uraraka called out to the prince, motioning towards the carriage as the knight helped Uraraka climb aboard. Todoroki said goodbye one more time to Yaoyarozu, blushing slightly as she smiled and waved back, the prince quickly turning around and heading towards the carriage. As he climbed back up there, he glanced at Monoma, and felt his smile disappear the second the blonde smirked and began patting the seat next to him.

"Join us, I can't wait to hear everything everyone has to say."

"We have a day of travel ahead of us, let's not get through all the good stuff right away."

As you had promised earlier, Bakugou sat down next to Kirishima, not even giving you a chance to think before yanking you towards him and forcing you into his lap. You blushed and readjusted yourself so that you were at least facing the others, sitting sideways with your feet tucked next to Kirishima. The redhead smiled and muttered something under his breath, making Midoriya chuckle as Bakugou growled back, his hand tightening around your body.

The gates of Langston creeked open, giving all of you a view of the road before Kendo turned the horse and carriage around, forcing you to face the castle once more. You felt calm, peaceful even, sitting with Bakugou and Kirishima, as well as the others you had met along your journey, but your eyes widened and you glanced down when you heard that familiar word.

"That's the Egabian, right? You said they were all extinct."

"No, you said that, I said they were working with the League."

"But isn't that the Prince? And a couple Mirag kids? Why would-"

"Hey."

The small group of soldiers winced and looked up, as well as you and everyone else as Todoroki stood up, glaring down at them.

"Watch your tongue. Egaby is a part of Okamoto just as much as Langston. Keep spreading rumors if you wish to be hanged at the King's request."

Todoroki sat back down, blinking as he looked at everyone in the carriage, who looked back at him with fear.

"...Too far?"

"N-Nope, that was perfect."

Monoma and Tetsutetsu wheezed with laughter, Kendo groaning and rubbing her temples as Kirishima whispered a translation to Bakugou, who scoffed and continued glaring at Todoroki.

Kirishima sighed and rested his hand on your leg, shaking his head as you whispered for a translation.

"ДҋԀ БЄЅЇԀЄЅ, ҰөҴ ѠЄЯЄҋ't ԌөЇҋԌ tө ЅtДҋԀ Ҵҏ ҒөЯ ӉЄЯ."

Bakugous eye twitched, the arm holding you beginning to shake as he picked you up and set you down on Kirishima, shouting as he put one leg over the carriage, trying to climb out. You apologized to the redhead as you were thrown on top of him, the dragon smiling weakly and shaking his head, knowing it was just 'Bakugou being Bakugou'.

"ӉДӉ?! ҰөҴ tӉЇҋҜ Ї Ѡөҋt? өЇ, ℓДҋԌЅtөҋ БДЅtДЯԀЅ!"

"ЯЄℓДӝ, ҜДҪҪӉДҋ!"

Midoriya was quick to grab Bakugou by the shoulders, pulling him back before he could jump out. Kirishima laughed loudly and readjusted you to be more comfortable, wiping a tear from his eye as Uraraka leaned closer to you, a smile forming on her face.

"It's nice to see you all relaxed. At least, as relaxed as Bakugou can get."

"It's only been a few days since we've been separated, but it felt like weeks. I'm just glad to see everyone is okay-"

You leaned closer this time, holding out your hand and taking Urarakas, smiling widely.

"And thank you, for keeping them safe, like I had asked. I'm sure my request was...a lot, I was asking for you to do something severe."

Tears welled in the brunettes eyes as she sniffed, nodding and wiping them away. Midoriya blinked and felt his eyes begin to water, letting Bakugou go as the blonde growled and barked at the knight for trying to start a fight between them. Eventually, Kendo sighed and shouted for everyone to settle down, announcing that they were leaving. Bakugou huffed and sat back down, calling out for you as he opened and closed his hands, waiting for you to climb back into his lap. You chuckled at the gesture, giggling with Uraraka as you explained to her how you had been teaching him to ask for your hand.

"He's like a little kid."

"It's surprising to think the fierce and intimidating Prince Bakugou can also have a soft side."

"He's always been a baby, he-"

"өЇ, ԀЯДԌөҋ."

Kirishima stopped mid sentence, looking down and seeing Mina glaring up at him. The redhead smiled and turned around to face her completely, a smirk forming on his lips as he rested his arms on the side of the carriage.

"ѠДҋt tө ЅЄЄ ҴЅ өҒҒ?"

"ЈҴЅt ӍДҜЇҋԌ ЅҴЯЄ ҰөҴ ДҪtҴДℓℓҰ ℓЄДѴЄ."

Bakugou glanced down, turning his head as he called out to Mina.

"өЇ, ҏЇҋҜҰ."

"Їt'Ѕ ӍЇҋД ДЅӉЇ-"

"Ԁөҋ't ҒөЯԌЄt өҴЯ ҏЯөӍЇЅЄ."

Mina froze, crossing her arms once again and shaking her head.

"Ї Ѡөҋ't ҒөЯԌЄt, БҴt ҰөҴ БЄttЄЯ ҜЄЄҏ Їt."

Her eyes trailed from Bakugou to you, seeing the smile on your face as she sighed. She rubbed the back of her neck and moved closer, speaking quietly, and almost hesitantly.

"Д-ДҋԀ tЄℓℓ ӉЄЯ ℓДtЄЯ, Ї'Ӎ ЅөЯЯҰ. Ї ҪДҋ't ЅДҰ ДҋҰtӉЇҋԌ tө ӉЄЯ ҋөѠ, БҴt...ЅtЇℓℓ, Ї-"

"Mina Ashido?"

She looked over at you as you smiled back, your expression more warm and genuine than when you two had first met, making a pain run through her heart. You looked so much happier than the last time she saw you. Was it really...all because of them?

"Thanks for taking care of these two. I remember how you feel about...them, but I hope they were kind to you. I'm glad we got to see each other again!"

"...ө-өӉ, Ұes, өҒ cөurse. Ұөu're Ѡeℓcөme, (Ғ/N)."

Kirishima smiled back, showing off his pointed teeth as he nodded at Mina, chuckling as she grew flustered.

"Ї tӉЇҋҜ ЅӉЄ'ℓℓ БЄ ҒЇҋЄ. ℓЄt'Ѕ ӍЄЄt ДԌДЇҋ ЅөӍЄԀДҰ, ѠӉЄҋ tӉЄ ѠөЯℓԀ ЇЅ ҜЇҋԀЄЯ."

"ДЅ ЇҒ Їt ЄѴЄЯ ѠЇℓℓ БЄ."

The pink tinted girl smirked and waved weakly, stepping back over to Yaoyarozu and mumbling quietly to the Lady Commander. The carriage lurched, forcing Kirishima to sit back down as he waved back to Mina, everyone in the square still watching as you left through the city gate. You all grew silent, eventually laughing together when you heard Yaoyarozu once again shouting at her soldiers. You smiled and looked over to Todoroki, who stared back at Langston, his eyes lowered and a small, loving smile on his lips.

"Hey Shoto, you and Yaoyarozu-"

"It-It's nothing like what you think, (F/N)."

"I'm sure it's not, but invite me to the wedding."

You smirked and chuckled as you teased him, gasping when he remarked back.

"And when will yours be? You look like it's your wedding night already."

Now Uraraka was choking from laughter, Midoriya patting her back as you growled, Bakugou nuzzling into your neck and whispering for you to stop talking to him. Kirishima laughed heartily, patting Todorokis shoulder in approval as the nine of you began your journey down the King's Road. It was loud, yet relaxed; everyone talking over each other and discussing minor things, not yet focusing on the major events at hand. Bakugou continued to practice his new language, repeating the same things over and over as you corrected him.

"I want to love you moor-"

"More."

"M-More."

"That's right."

You ruffled his hair with every correction, smiling and chuckling as he kissed you, his messy hair tickling your skin each time he leaned towards you. You eventually took off the cloak, folding it up and holding it in your lap as Kirishima complimented your outfit, making your eyes widen.

"That one is great for down here, since it gets so cold in Okamoto. The long skirt will be better than pants in the night."

"It's very comfortable...I just wish I had the other ones."

The redhead cocked his head, his eyebrow raised as he questioned what you meant.

"I left the rest of the clothes you gave me in Shiketsu, they were Katsukis mothers, right?"

"Ah, yes, but it's fine. It's not like she was going to wear them again anyways. Besides...I don't know when we'll be going back up there."

He rubbed the back of his neck, quietly translating to Bakugou as the blonde huffed and shrugged, leaning back down to kiss your now exposed shoulder.

Midoriyas ears perked up, a devilish smile forming as he whispered to Uraraka, the brunette chuckling and nodding, as if she was giving him approval to say something.

"ЇҒ Їt'Ѕ ӉДЯԀ, ѠӉҰ ӉДѴЄҋ't ҰөҴ ℓЄДЯҋЄԀ tө ЅѠЇӍ ҰЄt-"

Bakugou inhaled deeply, growling and shouting over everyone, making you sigh and cover the ear closest to him.

"ԀЄҜҴ Ї'ℓℓ ҒҴҪҜЇҋԌ ҜЇℓℓ ҰөҴ!"

Midoriya and Uraraka laughed loudly, watching the blonde get overly upset as you tried to calm him down, patting his chest and holding onto the wood behind him to keep him sitting in place.

"But it's interesting to hear you made it to Shiketsu, (F/N). I'm guessing you met Inasa? He's kind of the head of the town."

Midoriya smiled as you nodded, before motioning over to Todoroki.

"It was around where I met up with Shoto."

"What were you doing so far up there, Todoroki?"

Uraraka leaned over, her eyebrows pinched in concern as the prince hesitated, looking away and rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's...a long story."

Tetsutetsu slowly leaned over, listening to the conversation and blinking as he stared at Kirishima, almost studying his features. The redhead noticed right away, smiling weakly at the silver haired male and pointing to his mouth, showing off his teeth.

"You're one of them, aren't you, Tetsutetsu?"

"Don't know what you're talkin about."

"Yeah, you do."

Kirishima nodded to you and Bakugou, then to Midoriya, shrugging weakly.

"You three seem to have no issue with us, Mirag and Egabian, so it's not like we'll have an issue with you, half-breed."

Tetsutetsus eye twitched at the nickname, but nodded slowly and sighed loudly, sitting up straighter and crossing his arms.

"I guess so, but it's not like I know anythin' about it. You'd know more than me."

Kirishima rubbed the back of his neck, nodding weakly as he translated for Bakugou, the prince glancing over at Tetsutetsu before shrugging just as weakly.

"ѠӉө ҪДЯЄЅ, ЇЅҋ't ӉЄ ЈҴЅt Д БℓДҪҜЅӍЇtӉ? ҋөt ℓЇҜЄ ӉЄ'Ѕ ДҋҰtӉЇҋԌ ЅҏЄҪЇДℓ."

Kirishima rolled his eyes as Midoriya scolded Bakugou, the blonde ignoring the knight and nestling his face in the crook of your neck.

Kirishima chuckled nervously as Midoriya looked off to the side, smiling weakly at Monoma, who smirked back. The blonde hummed and shrugged his shoulders sarcastically, shaking his head before speaking to you.

"So, the prince you're eloping with isn't our very own Todoroki Shoto, but instead, a barbarian Prince of Mirag? That's quite a twist."

"Don't be rude about it, Neito."

Kendo turned around slightly, smiling at you as she nodded towards Bakugou.

"But it's crazy, you don't see Egabians and Mirag getting along. Hell, you don't see them, ever."

She handed the reins off to Tetsutetsu, turning to face the carriage completely as she crossed her arms, tapping her chin in thought.

"I'd imagine the idea would be impossible, what with your histories..."

"But history can be wrong, can't it?"

Her eyes trailed down to you, watching as you played with Bakugous fingers, slowly interlocking your hands as you smiled, lost in your own blissfully spoken thoughts.

"I didn't know much about my own history, and I don't know much about Mirag either, but I know Katsuki, and shouldn't that be enough?"

Midoriya smiled and looked over to Uraraka, who smiled back as she chimed in.

"The world is so shaken up right now, a relationship like theirs just shows that we can change things for the better, don't you think so, Todoroki?"

The prince blinked and stared at you as Bakugou glared back at him, his hand slowly moving up to brush his bangs aside. His fingers ran over his scar, his eyes growing half lidded as he nodded.

"The past can't change, but the future can. That's all I'm hoping for."

"And we'll make sure it happens, right?"

Midoriya smiled widely as Uraraka punched the air, agreeing with him as Kirishima laughed and nodded as well. Monoma and Kendo glanced at each other, the redhead smiling as she chuckled to herself.

"Who knew this group would be so enthusiastically positive."

"Why wouldn't it be? We've got people fighting in the war with us, of course they're going to be-"

"I'm saying it because you're here, Neito, and you drag everyones attitude down."

The ones who could understand laughed as Monoma huffed, crossing his arms and shrugging off her insult. He mumbled that, once again, she wouldn't be saying such things when he's the most famous magician in the capital. Bakugou sat there and listened to everyone converse, staring you down with a look of content peace in his eyes. You were back in his arms, you were safe now. He watched as you spoke to the others, your expression lively and your smile wider than usual, finally seeing you relaxed and more innocent than ever before. He leaned closer against you and tightened his hold on you, closing his eyes and losing himself in your scent as he drifted off to sleep.

Kirishima sighed and felt his chest, looking over to Bakugou to tease him for being happier than he had been in a long time, but only smiled when he saw the princes resting expression, his cheek squished and pressed into your shoulder. The redhead hummed and leaned closer, nudging you softly as he whispered.

"Bakugou seems calm now, but I would prepare myself for when he gets all of his energy back, if I were you."

"What do you-"

You stopped yourself, your cheeks flaring up as Kirishima chuckled quietly, the others questioning what he had said as you shook your head and brushed him off. You turned to Midoriya and Uraraka, trying quickly to change the subject.

"B-By the way, I'm sorry, Midoriya, but the journal you made for me, it got ruined in the Mirag Bay-"

You pulled the small stone from your pocket, handing it back to Uraraka as she held out her hand.

"And this, it cracked while I was traveling."

"That's alright! It should still work, it just won't work as well the farther we are apart-"

The brunette glanced over, looking at the King's Road as the earth inclined to a hill, the carriage slightly leaning everyone to the side.

"-and I don't think that will be for a while."

You smiled at the idea of being around others, finally with a group of people you felt completely safe with again. You glanced over to Todoroki, nodding to the scroll he held in his hand.

"And what will happen when we get to Enjeer? We have to see the King again?"

Todoroki frowned, nodding as he looked down at the rolled piece of paper, studying the stamp seal of Langston.

"Yes. I told myself I wouldn't go back until the war was over, but...it looks like I don't have a choice."

"Everything will be okay, Shoto."

Midoriya smiled at his friend, the prince smiling back as the Knight continued.

"We always have each other, and you won't be going back there alone. We'll all be there!"

"What makes you not want to return?"

Monomas smile curled into a smirk as Kendo threatened him, apologizing to Todoroki as he shook his head.

"It's fine. It's not like our family history isn't public record..."

Todoroki felt over his scar again, and your eyebrows pinched, remembering the stories and 'rumors' Monoma, Tetsutetsu, and Kendo had told you while you were together. You spoke up, gesturing to Todoroki as you pointed to the scabbing scar on your bicep, the claw marks lessened, but still visible.

"And, what about...?"

"I don't know yet."

Midoriya and Uraraka tilted their heads, asking what you two had meant, before Kirishima interrupted.

"I'm interested to know what had happened as well. These...are all new."

Kirishimas hand brushed against your arm, pointing to the scars and small wounds that littered your skin. You swallowed nervously and glanced at Todoroki, wincing when Bakugous voice echoed in your ear, shocking you when you realized he was still awake.

"Ї ѠДҋҋД ҜҋөѠ ѠӉДt'Ѕ ԌөЇҋԌ өҋ БЄtѠЄЄҋ ӍҰ ҏЯЇҋҪЄЅЅ, ДҋԀ tӉДt ӉДℓҒ БДЅtДЯԀ."

Kirishima translated for you, and you sighed, running your hand through your hair tiredly.

"It's...It's also a long story-"

"And we've got time."

Kendo smirked and took the reins back from Tetsutetsu, letting the silver haired male jump back in on the gossip, knowing he was much more invested. You glanced around at everyone, eventually ending on Bakugous gaze as you sighed and leaned your head against his, humming quietly.

"I guess, we can start with what happened that night, in Mirag..."

Tetsutetsu rubbed his hands together and smiled widely, his teeth as pointed as Kirishimas as he whispered to Monoma, who only chuckled back.

"This is gonna be good, I can tell."
