Chapter 24

"ӉЄҰ, ӉЄҰ БДҜҴԌөҴ, ԌЇѴЄ ӍЄ Д ӉҴԌ."

"БДҜҴԌөҴ, ℓЄt'Ѕ ҜЇЅЅ."

"ℓЄt'Ѕ ЅtДҰ tөԌЄtӉЄЯ ҒөЯЄѴЄЯ, БДҜҴԌөҴ."

You smiled up at the blonde as the three of you walked through the dry field. You were definitely up north now, the hot air and dry weather was nothing like the cool misty nights of the Faron Plains. You were also definitely excited to be communicating with Bakugou, although it was harder to translate the things the fluent boy was saying, compared to your new founding tongue. His face was reddening with both anger and embarrassment, but to you, maybe he just wasn't feeling good? It had only been one night since he had woken up; the three of you started traveling the moment the sun had rose.

"ЈҴЅt БЄ ѻҴЇЄt ДℓЯЄДԀҰ."

"Ԁө ҰөҴ ѠДҋt tө ԌЄt ӍДЯЯЇЄԀ, БДҜҴԌөҴ?"

Finally, he had had enough, and he grabbed you by the hood of your cloak and slammed his hand against your mouth, glaring daggers at his dragon. Kirishima was on the verge of tears, trying to hold in his laughter before bursting out at the sight of his two friends. You whined underneath Bakugous hand and he growled, barking at you before turning back to Kirishima.

Kirishima fell to his knees and held onto his stomach, gasping for breath from laughing and rolling over when Bakugou went to kick him. The blonde gritted his teeth and removed his hand from your mouth, yanking you close enough that your faces were only centimeters apart.

You tilted your head slightly and blinked at Bakugou, asking him if he was feeling alright.

"ѠӉҰ ДЯЄ ҰөҴ Ѕө ӉДҋԀЅөӍЄ, БДҜҴԌөҴ?"

Bakugou felt his face heating up even more and he let go of you, pushing you away and screamed, but more like childishly whined, into the air. He found a nearby rock and kicked at it, even going so far as to pull out his sword and swing at it in anger. Kirishima finally got to his feet, staggering over and leaning on your shoulder, ruffling your hair.

"You are doing a fine job, (F/N)(L/N), you'll be fluent in no time."

"That's great! But, what was he saying? Didn't he just ask you for something?"

Kirishima shrugged and whistled distractingly, making something up as he looked into the sky.

"No, nothing important. He's just happy that I've been teaching you."

The idea of Bakugou being happy about something made your heart lighten, and you smiled widely. This journey had been nothing but trouble, and danger. For you, certainly, but even more for Bakugou, so the thought of him actually feeling anything positive was perfect. Kirishima continued to look at the sky and sighed, seeing the suns rays haze the clouds that floated overhead. You glanced over at the dragon boy and waved your hand in front of his face, smiling at him.

"Do you want to fly?"

The boy was taken aback for a moment, and chuckled, unsure of what you really meant.

"Come again?"

"Well, ever since the sun rose and we started moving again, you've been eyeing the sky. I thought maybe you missed being up there."

Kirishimas eyes widened as you looked down, your eyes half lidded and your face softening to match the thoughtful words that were coming from your mouth.

"You're a dragon, and you've been traveling down here with us for days, plus all that time we spent underground. I don't really know how dragons worked, but it makes sense to miss the sky..."

When you looked back up, you hummed quietly, noticing Kirishima had turned around. His face was tilted down and he looked like he was trembling, but you weren't able to ask anything before he ran over to Bakugou, who was still beating up the poor rock a ways away. Kirishima grabbed the boys arm and stopped him from striking another blow, whispering to his friend.

"Ї'ѴЄ ӍДԀЄ Ҵҏ ӍҰ ӍЇҋԀ, ѠЄ'ЯЄ ҜЄЄҏЇҋԌ ӉЄЯ."

Bakugou growled and ripped his arm from Kirishimas grasp, throwing his sword onto the ground and putting his hands on his hips.

"ѠӉө tӉЄ ҒҴҪҜ ЅДЇԀ ҰөҴ Ԍөt tө ӍДҜЄ tӉДt ԀЄҪЇЅЇөҋ? ДҋԀ ѠӉҰ? ѠӉДt ԀЇԀ ЅӉЄ Ԁө ҋөѠ?"

Kirishima hummed and glanced back at you, before speaking quickly and quietly so that you wouldn't accidentally pick up any hints on what they were discussing. He summarized what you had said and smiled widely at Bakugou, who looked up at the sky, then back at his friend. Bakugou didn't even consider how long Kirishima had been down on land with him, and he clicked his tongue, looking away from the dragon boy.

Kirishima pursed his lips and nodded his head in your direction, making Bakugou glance at you once more. You were distracted by a dragonfly that was dancing near a small puddle of water left in the water from a rare and recent rain. Did he actually miss a rain up here? The insect skipped and landed on a blade of grass, unmoving until you moved your hand towards it, smiling as it bounced away.

"БДҜҴԌөҴ, ЇҒ Ї ℓЄДѴЄ, Їt ӍЄДҋЅ Ї ӉДѴЄ tө tЯҴЅt ҰөҴ ҋөt tө ԌЄt ДҋԌЯҰ Дt ӉЄЯ."

"Ї'Ԁ ҋЄѴЄЯ ԌЄt ДҋԌЯҰ Дt ӉЄЯ."

"...ЅЄЯЇөҴЅℓҰ?"

Bakugou pouted and glared at Kirishima, who put his hands up in defeat and backed away, shaking his head.

Kirishima ducked as he moved further away from the angry Prince, dodging a small stone Bakugou threw his way, and stepped back over to you. He bent down and smiled at your head level, agreeing with you when you pointed out how beautiful the dragonfly was.

"I'll be leaving for a little while, and I'm sure you can handle him until I return?"

You stood up as Kirishima leaned back up, nodding your head and putting on a determined expression.

"Of course I can! And I'll use this time to try and talk to Bakugou, the things I had asked you to teach me, you know?"

Kirishima laughed and looked at you smugly, smirking as his voice came out low and quiet.

"Oh, and what, you don't want to that while I'm around? Why not?"

You groaned as the red head roped you into a hug, teasing you for trying to be so sentimental. You called out to Kirishima and tried to push him away, yelling back as you escaped his grasp and moved closer to Bakugou.

"It's nothing like that! I just, would rather do it without you around to...to hear any mistakes. Yeah! We practiced for so long, I wouldn't want you to be disappointed!"

Kirishima rolled his eyes and shook his head, strolling past Bakugou and putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Well, if that's your plan (F/N), I wish you good luck, and hey. Bakugou here has mentioned that he wants to learn a bit of your language, so you can help each other together."

Your eyes lit up and you smiled widely at Bakugou, who only looked away the moment you did. Kirishima winked at Bakugou and moved past you both, walking off into a nearby field of tall, dying grass.

"I'll see you too soon! Have fun kids!"

Aren't we the same age? You called out a goodbye to the dragon boy, waiting another minute until you heard the familiar screeching sound. In moments, the giant red dragon was stomping through the field, looking over at you and Bakugou before pushing off the ground and soaring into the air. It flew around cautiously before moving higher into the sky, eventually leaving your vision.

You sighed and looked over at Bakugou, who was sighing himself and picking up his sword from the ground. Before he sheathed it, he pointed it at you, mumbling.

"ЇҒ ҰөҴ ЅДҰ ДҋҰtӉЇҋԌ ЅtҴҏЇԀ, Ї ѠЇℓℓ ҜЇℓℓ ҰөҴ."

"өҜДҰ."

A response that he actually understood caught him off guard, and he shook his head, putting the sword back in its holder. You moved closer now that a weapon wasn't being pointed at you and smiled at Bakugou. The two of you began to walk along the path again, and you tried to continue the conversation.

"Kirishima has been, uh...ҜЇЯЇЅӉЇӍД ӉДЅ БЄЄҋ tЄДҪӉЇҋԌ ӍЄ ЅөӍЄ өҒ tӉЄ БДЅЇҪ tӉЇҋԌЅ ҰөҴ ЅДҰ. tӉЇҋԌЅ ℓЇҜЄ, 'Ї'ℓℓ ҜЇℓℓ ҰөҴ. ДҋԀ, ЅӉҴt Ҵҏ."

You laughed nervously and lightly punched at Bakugous shoulder, quieting yourself when he growled back in response. After a short while of silence, a warm breeze blew by, making you comb the (H/C) hair away from your face. It was really, really hot up here. You had never been somewhere so warm, and it made you begin to feel overdressed. Bakugou, on the other hand, inhaled deeply and sighed to himself, feeling the hot sun on his skin.

"Bakugou?"

"ѠӉДt?"

"Ї, uh , Ї ӉДѴЄ ЅөӍЄtӉЇҋԌ tө tЄℓℓ ҰөҴ."

The boy scoffed and cracked his neck boredly, mumbling.

"ДЅ ℓөҋԌ ДЅ Їt ЇЅҋ't ДҋҰtӉЇҋԌ ℓЇҜЄ ѠӉДt ҰөҴ ЅДЇԀ ЄДЯℓЇЄЯ."

You felt your face heating up in frustration. Repeating the words and basic phrases Kirishima had taught you were easy, but trying to freely translate Bakugous words only made you feel foolish. Repeating the words in your head one last time, you inhaled, then exhaled what you had been practicing.

When you finished, you looked over at Bakugou, who was staring you down. A blush covered his cheeks and he groaned, face palming and yelling into the air.

"tӉДt ѠДЅ ԌөөԀ, БҴt ѠӉҰ ЇЅ tӉЄЯЄ tӉДt ℓДЅt ℓЇttℓЄ БЇt?! ѠӉДt tӉЄ ӉЄℓℓ ѠДЅ ҜЇЯЇЅӉЇӍД tЄДҪӉЇҋԌ ҰөҴ?!"

Another breeze rushed by and you felt your cloak pull you in the winds direction, forcing you to plant your feet into the ground. Was he mad? You called out his name again and frowned when he swore at you.

"I-I'm sorry if I'm saying things wrong, but you shouldn't say things like that! БЄ ЯЄЅҏЄҪtҒҴℓ!"

The princes eye twitched and he moved closer to you, glaring at you as you glared back. His red eyes were caught in your (E/C) ones, and eventually he broke the staring contest, looking away and crossing his arms.

"ҰөҴ ЯЄДℓℓҰ Ԁөҋ't ҜҋөѠ ѠӉДt ҰөҴ'ЯЄ ЅДҰЇҋԌ, Ԁө ҰөҴ."

"ѠӉДt?"

He sighed and shook his head, looking back up to the sky. He should've forced Kirishima to stay, to help him translate; he should've stayed to help talk to you. The dragons words repeated in his head, and he felt a stress pain begin in the back of his neck. Try to learn something from her back. He glanced down at you again and huffed, closing his eyes in irritation as he spoke.

"Sky...sunset..sunrise, deer, earth..."

You raised an eyebrow and looked at the blondes face, smiling in confusion.

"What are you doing?"

He opened his eyes slowly and glared back over at you, turning his body and repeating the only words he knew before pointing at you with his thumb lazily.

"Sunset."

Your heart sped up and you waved him off, brushing his hand away from you and thinking out loud.

"You always say that, you know that that's not...wait. Are you..?"

You stopped walking for a moment and combed more of your hair out of your face, smiling widely at Bakugou.

"Are you practicing the words I've taught you before? Ah, ѠДҋt tө...ℓЄДЯҋ ӍөЯЄ, өҒ ӍҰ, ѠөЯԀЅ?"

Bakugou chuckled at your poor translation, but nodded anyways, ruffling your hair before continuing down the path. You huffed and attempted to fix the mess on the top of your head, quickly following behind him. Humming, you thought about what you'd teach him, finally settling on what Kirishima had started you on originally.

"Okay, ӍҰ ҋДӍЄ ЇЅ, (F/N)(L/N), Ї ДӍ ҒЯөӍ ЄԌДБҰ. My Name is Bakugou Katsuki. I am from Mirag. It's an introduction. tЯҰ Їt."

Bakugou looked at you puzzled, and you repeated yourself slowly, emphasizing syllables and sounds as you spoke, feeling your heart warm as he repeated after you like a child.

"My name is."

"M-My naeme is-"

"Name."

"...My name is."

"Bakugou, Katsuki."

"БДҜҴԌөҴ ҜДtЅҴҜЇ."

"ѠЇtӉөҴt ДҪҪЄҋt!"

"...Baku..gou Kat-suki?"

"Perfect!"

Now you were the one ruffling his hair, praising the Mirag Prince on saying the words correctly. He growled as his hands balled into fists, but he didn't brush you off like usual. You smiled and continued your lesson as you walked, teaching him how to say where he was from, how Kirishima was his friend and dragon, and how you were traveling together. He struggled for a while, his native tongue not used to the strange sounds that came so easily to you, but he never got too frustrated, unlike you who got frustrated too easily at not understanding the Mirag words.

"I am...the Prince of, Ӎirag."

"Close enough."

"ӉөѠ Ԁө ҰөҴ ЅДҰ Ї ℓөѴЄ ҰөҴ?"

You glanced up at Bakugou and pouted your lips, raising your eyebrow.

"Good morning?"

"Good morning."

"Yes! Except, why would you need to? It's not morning.."

Bakugou looked at you, confused with your tone, and you pointed up to the sky. More specifically, the sun. You trailed your finger down towards the horizon.

"When the sun is over there, that is morning. Right now, it is Midday."

"Midday.."

"And when it's over there, it's evening."

You turned and pointed west as Bakugous eyes followed close behind.

"Evening."

"Exactly! My Gods, you pick this up way faster than I do."

You sighed happily and shrugged, sarcastically blaming it on the difficulty of Bakugous language as you stretched both your arms out. You were getting warm under the cloak but wearing it made your bag lighter; even though you were up north, you didn't plan on leaving something so comfortable behind.

"Sunset."

There it was again. Before you could say anything, you felt Bakugous callused hand wrap around your wrist, pulling it down and close to himself. You also felt your face begin to heat up, and you chuckled nervously once more.

"Hah..ah what are you- ѠӉДt ДЯЄ ҰөҴ ԀөЇҋԌ."

You smiled awkwardly, but when you looked back at Bakugou, your smile disappeared, instead your mouth slightly hung open in awe. The boy in front of you was staring at you with quarter-lidded eyes, the red hue blazing in the shadows his bangs gave off. His messy hair brushed lightly against his skin as the wind blew by, also making your (H/C) hair float gently in the breeze. Before, the area was quiet, with only the sound of the wind and nearby insects, but right now, there was nothing. Nothing, except for the beating of your own heart. It was deafening, and you reached your other hand up to your chest, pressing your fingers against the material of your shirt. You need to calm down.

"(F/N), good morning."

"...what?"

Bakugous face turned into a deep red, a blush forming from ear to ear as he pulled your hand close to his face, kissing it softly. He got down onto one knee and kept his lips against your skin, moving his other hand up to hold your arm. Bakugou tilted his head and looked up at you, his harsh voice echoing in the silence.

"Ї Ԁөҋ't ҜҋөѠ ӉөѠ ЄℓЅЄ tө ЅДҰ Їt tө ҰөҴ ѠЇtӉөҴt ԌЄttЇҋԌ ЄӍБДЯДЅЅЄԀ, өЯ ѠӉДt tө Ԁө, өЯ ЇҒ tӉЇЅ ЇЅ Д ԌөөԀ ЇԀЄД, БҴt-"

"How charming."

Both you and Bakugou flinched and looked up, the prince quickly getting to his feet as the outside voice came closer. Like how it had usually been, it sounded familiar, enough for you to recognize the voice before seeing its owner.

"Midoriya?"

The green haired boy approached and smiled, tapping his temple and sticking out his tongue slyly.

"(F/N)(L/N), its so nice to know you remember me! And how have you been Bakugou? I know you can't understand me well."

He smiled widely and moved even closer, but stopped when he saw your expression. Bakugous lip twitched, ready to bark at the bastard that interrupted him, even attack the boy. Does he even know what he's interrupting? You however, stepped in front of him, your eyes narrowed. This wasn't Midoriya. You bent over slightly and pulled your knife from your boot, and although your voice was quiet, it was loud enough to be heard in the barron desert.

"Midoriya doesn't call Bakugou by his name, and he knows enough Mirag to understand him."

Midoriya blinked slowly and looked at you, his wide smile disappearing.

"Are you pulling a weapon on me, (F/N)(L/N)? Why? I thought we were friends?"

The boy swung his hands behind his back, pacing back and forth and humming playfully. You hated the feeling of everything being familiar nowadays; everything seemed connected in a way you didn't comprehend. The tune Midoriya was humming, was a tune you had heard before, and it made you feel uneasy. The sound sent a chill up your spine, like the last time you had heard it was during a nightmarish situation.

"I guess you're not as dumb as you look, my love."

Your face contorted in anger and concern as Midoriya slipped his hand into his pocket, pulling out a small collection of viles. He hummed and plucked one from the bunch, licking his lips before drinking whatever was inside.

"Maybe you'd rather I look like this?"

The figure in front of you no longer looked like Midoriya Izuku. Rather, it looked like him, but a melting, decaying copy of him. The skin fell away like candle wax and the hair began to transform before your eyes, and you and Bakugou both looked on in horror as the adorable brunette witch-in-training smiled widely at you. Her voice was as bubbly and soft as the last time you had seen her, but the tone was laced with sinister intention.

"You miss me, don't you (F/N)? You wouldn't hurt me, would you?"

The person in front of you wasn't Uraraka, and your mind fought itself to remind your instincts. Bakugou reached for his sword and pulled you behind him as the witch lunged at you both. He swung towards the girl and she swung back with her own knife; it was smaller and weighed less, but somehow was strong enough to bounce the blow away.

You scowled and grabbed another smaller knife from your other boot, throwing it in the mimics direction. It flew past the brunettes face and a small slicing sound cut into the quiet landscape. Uraraka jumped back, using Bakugou as a spring board to cartwheel to her feet. Her eyes went from brown to yellow as they darted to look at her own face, seeing the blood slowly dripping down the fresh cut. Bakugou took a step forward but you grabbed his shoulder, and he looked back at you.

Your eyes widened in fear and your mouth fell open slightly, the arm holding onto Bakugou trembling against your will. Those eyes. You knew those eyes. The brunette in front of you stood up and licked at her cheek, a devilish smile forming as she reached into her cloak for more of those tiny vials. She hummed and tapped each one with the tip of her finger, pulling out another and downing the bottle.

"You would go so far as to hurt...even me? Have you no heart (F/N)?"

"You...You're-"

Suddenly the witch was gone, and instead a cloaked figure stood in her place, their hair hiding their face as a fanged smile shown through the shadow.

"Do you know who I am?"

You growled and shouted at the person as they lifted their head, seeing those (E/C) eyes and (H/L)(H/C) hair. They had turned into you, and you felt your heartbeat quicken; your blood boiling.

"You're that girl! That freak that kidnapped me! Hi...Himiko!"

The desert wasn't cold until now, and the reflection of yourself lost its smile, instead frowning with tears forming in its eyes.

"You...You think I'm a freak..?"

You felt tears forming in your own eyes, and you weren't sure if it was connected to her, or if it was just out of fear, but you refused to let them fall. Bakugou quietly barked your name, and you fell back, moving closer to him. The you in front of you trembled, her lip twitching before snarling at the two of you, shouting out before jumping at you again.

"I love you! Why would you call me that?! Why are you so mean?!"

Bakugou lifted his sword again to swing at the figure, but stopped himself moments before. The hood had fallen off and he saw your face with tears streaming down it; how could he fight that? He couldn't stop her from latching onto you, forcing you to the ground as you tumbled a few feet away with her. On instinct, you pulled at the (H/C) hair and tried to wield your knife, but she blocked yours with her own.

"I. Fucking. Hate. You!"

The other girl dug her nails into your arm, making you cry out and drop the knife to the sand. Her other hand grabbed onto your face and pinched your jaw, growling before turning her frown back into a smile. You glared up at yourself, swinging your foot out and wrapping it around the reflection on top of you, digging your heel into her back. The girl shouted and leaned up, giving you the advantage and a chance to get out of her grasp. You swung your fist back and punched the girl in the face, making her spiral back.

You both staggered to your feet and gasped for breath, both taking another swing as well as taking another punch to the face. Your lip split open and you growled quietly, feeling the blood spill into your mouth. The girl in front of you wiped her lip and scowled, and You both went for another hit, but stopped when you heard Bakugous voice.

"(F/N)!"

You panted and turned towards the blonde, staring him down as he looked between you and the other...you. Immediately, the shapeshifter smiled at Bakugou, calling out to him.

"Bakugou, she's the girl that kidnapped me!"

Bakugou blinked and kept his eyes on her as she moved closer to him, grabbing his arm and trying to choke back tears.

"Please, Bakugou, help me!"

He looked over at you, and you shook your head, glaring him down.

"Bakugou, Їt'Ѕ ӍЄ-"

"өӉ, ҰөҴ tӉЇҋҜ ЅҏЄДҜЇҋԌ ӉЇЅ ℓДҋԌҴДԌЄ ѠЇℓℓ tЯҰ ДҋԀ ҏЄЯЅҴДԀЄ ӉЇӍ?"

She smiled at you and then up at Bakugou, putting on another facade of terrified fear. You felt your face heating up and your hands balled into fists. There's no way he'd believe that. Bakugou felt a chill run up his spine, and he tugged his arm away from the girl that clung to him. She stammered over her words, letting tears fall down her cut and bleeding face.

"Bakugou, why would you not believe me? I thought you loved me?"

His eyes widened and his breath quickened, quickly looking over at you as you glared him down.

"You know it's me Bakugou, I'm the real one!"

"Prove it!"

The other (H/C) haired girl spat at you, her eyes flickering from (E/C) to yellow, but only for an instant. You shook your head slowly in disbelief, pointing over at the confused Prince.

"Why don't you, huh? Can you prove it?"

Her smile turned over again and she shook her head, moving closer to Bakugou as he backed away further, pulling up his sword in defense.

"I can, because I can say I love him. ҪДҋ ҰөҴ?"

You moved forward a few feet and stopped, grabbing onto the front of your cloak and pulling it off. It fell to the sand quietly as you tried to think quickly. You couldn't say it. You could in your own language, sure, but would he understand? Think. You balled your hands into fists and gritted your teeth, pointing at Bakugou. This was probably the only thing you could do to help him in the moment, would it be enough?

"БДҜҴԌөҴ! ҰөҴ...ҰөҴ ДЯЄ ℓЇҜЄ tӉЄ Sunset! ҰөҴ ДЯЄ ӍҰ Sunset!"

Your words echoed in the empty landscape, and there was nothing else until the girl mimicking you snorted with laughter, turning towards you.

"You..You can't even say all of it fluently! Why even bother tryi-"

Her sentence was cut off by another heart wrenching sound of flesh being pierced, and she blinked in confusion. Both her and your eyes trailed down to see the bloodied end of a sword sticking out of her torso, and she coughed. Bakugou was holding his breath, swallowing any nerves he had as he looked at you with a small bead of sweat dripping down his forehead. The girl laughed quietly, bringing her shaking hand up to the swords end and grabbing onto it, her laughter growing into an insane shriek. Your eyes widened at the sight of your own body being at the end of a blade, and you fell back onto your butt when the girl glared at you, blood slowly pooling around her stomach.

"This is how you're going to look (F/N), do you know that? Tomura told me all~ about this kids plan. So keep this image in..your..head.."

She fell to her knees as Bakugou pulled the sword from her body, cutting open her hands as her grip tried to tighten on the blade. She coughed again, but continued to smile at you.

"You are so cute (F/N)(L/N). It's such a shame you have to be wasted on someone like him. Hey, Kurogiri, I'm dying, can you come get me?"

What? The things she was saying weren't making sense. You opened your mouth to speak, but yelped when a black fog began to seep from the bloodied version of you on the ground. It was thick, like some sort of mud, but it also floated freely, like a pitch dark mist. It covered the small area and the girls body, and after it evaporated, she was gone. You stared at the spot of blood where she was, and your hand unconsciously moved to your stomach, the sickening feeling returning.

Bakugou dropped his sword and fell to his knees too, looking from the same spot over to you, and he called your name. You nodded and exhaled heavily, trying to find a sense of relief in all of this. This entire journey keeps turning into a nightmare. Your mouth dried up and a chill ran up your body as you struggled to your feet, the pain from each new injury returning as the adrenaline wore off.

"Bakugou, are you okay-"

When your eyes met his, your heart stopped, and your body ached. Tears were forming in his eyes and his sharp teeth were gritted, his whole upper body trembling as if he were trying to hold in his emotions. He called your name again, his usually deep and harsh voice cracking as he did. Your body didn't give your mind a chance to react, and you instinctively moved closer, your walk turning into a run until you jumped onto the boy, hugging him tightly.

Your grip on him tightened and you held him closer, burying your face in his blonde hair. His hands, finally calming down, wrapped around your waist and held you back. Inside, he was angry that he was crying; it was pathetic, but he couldn't help it. He couldn't control it, and he hated it. However, the feeling of relief from you being safe overpowered his anger, and his hand snaked up to tangle in your (H/C) hair, inhaling and exhaling to calm himself. He took in your scent and felt the waves of relaxation wash over him. He felt something he had never felt before, he felt at peace...finally.

"Good morning (F/N)."
