Chapter 7

Killian and Regina

"Henry", Regina called out, "Henry, come say Hi to aunt Emma!". The little three year old boy came running towards her, holding his hands out so she could pick him up immediately. He loved talking to his aunt, even though she was currently living on the other side of the world.

"HI AUNTIE EMMA!", Henry practically screamed. He didn't really understand how the computer system worked yet, so he thought that if he would just scream hard enough she was going to hear him anyways. "Hi Henry", Emma said, "how are you?" "AWESOME", Henry screamed.

"Henry, sweetie, you don't have to scream", Regina said. "But how is she going to hear me then?", the little boy asked confused. "Emma has superpowers, she can hear you even if you whisper". "Hmm, kay", Henry said to his mom before turning to Emma again and whispering: "How are you?".

After Emma had explained to Henry that he didn't have to whisper either, they had an, according to Henry, awesome conversation about superheroes, after which Henry went to play again and Regina and Emma could talk for a little while.

"So", Emma started, "how's...". "Emma I have to tell you something", Regina quickly interrupted, suddenly with tears in her eyes. "Woah, hey Regina what's going on", Emma asked, seriously getting worried about her adoptive-sister-in-law. Regina never cried.

"I... I... We... Killian", Regina started to seriously cry right now, her voice was shaking and the tears wouldn't stop. "'Gina calm down!", Emma demanded. After the brunette had finally calmed down, she started to slowly tell Emma what had happened.

Emma

"I noticed something was off with Killian a long time ago, but I decided to ignore it. But it only got worse and then, we didn't even talk to eachother for about three weeks", Regina started telling her story.

Emma tried to look interested and as if the words were new for her, she really tried, but she couldn't. She knew exactly what Regina was going to say. She had talked with Killian about it a lot. And she felt so quilty right now.

"And when I confronted him about it, he said that nothing was going on, that everything was perfectly fine, but I just knew he was lying right in my face. So I told him that if he wasn't going to tell me why he acted so weird, he could pack and sign the papers later."

Emma knew what was coming next. Killian had told her all about it. After Regina had told him to either tell her or pack, he knew he had to pack anyways. So, as he told her, he packed and left.

"And before the bastard closed the door, he finally had the courage to tell me what it was really all about. He was falling for someone else."

"Wait", Emma interrupted Regina suprised, "he said he was falling for someone else?". "Yeah", Regina whispered, her eyes red from the crying.

Emma was mad, no, she was furious. How could he, her stupid adoptive brother, lie to her? He told her that he had never told Regina the reason he left. He never told her as well. But he always told her everything, so why was he lying to her?

"Emma", Regina suddenly interrupted her thoughts. "Yes?". "Are you alright there?". "Yes, yes I am, are you?", she asked Regina, suddenly worrying a bit more about her sister-in-law than herself. "Yes I am I guess, but I just, I think I need to distract myself a little bit".

"Okay, but please be careful?", Emma said, "Even though it might feel like there is no purpose of living right now, trust me, I know, Henry needs you. Which reminds me, have you told him about it yet?". "No, but I can hear him calling me to make him some food, so I guess he doesn't really mind that his father isn't at home".

"You go make him his food, while I'll talk to that idiotic little bastard of a brother of mine, and show him what angry really looks like", Emma said, causing Regina to burst out in laughter and crying even harder at the same time. "Okay Emma, don't be too nice for him". "I'm never too nice", Emma said with a wink before ending the skype-call.

"Pick up, pick up", she whispered to both Killian and herself, but mostly to herself. Finally, after three calls, Killian answered to call. He popped up on the screen of her laptop, looking like he just woke up.

"Bloody hell Emma", he started the conversation, "why are you calling me at 8 o'clock in the morning?". "Because I love to see your bed hair", she answered smiling, before switching to her 'I-am-seriously-mad-at-you-and-there-is-nothing-you-can-do-about-it' face, "and because you left Regina!". "You already knew that Emma, so why are you making such a big deal out of it?"

"BECAUSE YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT YOU LEFT HER BECAUSE YOU HAD FEELINGS FOR SOMEBODY ELSE!!", Emma suddenly started screaming. "Emma?", a voice behind her said, "are you okay?". "Yeah Ruby I'm fine, just mad at my brother for leaving his wife". "O, okay, have fun! O, and Killian? Good luck". Emma smiled at her extremely idiotic roommate before turning her attention back at Killian, looking furious all over again.

"Look Emma, I really wanted to tell you, but I really, really couldn't, because you'd be so pissed at me", Killian said softly, trying to calm Emma down, which obviously didn't work, as she started yelling again.

"WELL, NOW YOU DIDN'T ONLY GET ME PISSED, NO, YOU GOT ME FURIOUS AT YOU. 'CAUSE YOU KNOW, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE THE SWEETEST BROTHER ON THE PLANET, I SOMETIMES HATE YOU SO MUCH!!!"

"Emma please don't yell that loud, I am trying to shower and I can't concentrate now", Ruby said loudly from somewhere in the bathroom, which caused both Emma and Killian to laugh, and the anry tension between them to break.

"Emma, I am really sorry for lying to you..", Killian suddenly said softly, breaking the silence that had grown between them. "It's okay, I just had to get that little bit of anger out of me. I just want to know one thing", Emma said, continuing after Killian nodded slightly, "Who did you fall in love with?".

Killian looked at her with sad eyes for a couple of seconds, then he looked down at the keyboard of his laptop, before whispering something and ending the call.

Emma stared at the screen for a while before she finally realised what Killian had whispered.

"You"

A/N
Soo, I haven't written in a while, because my phone broke and it had to be repared and than school started and stuff, and then I had to rethink whether I was going to, and how I was going to continue this story, but I think I got it quite figured out, soo yeah.

This is btw the longest chapter I have written so far, and I honestly don't understand how some people can write chapters of 3k words, because I just passed the 1k and it seems like I have written an entire book...

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story so far, and leave a nice comment for meeeee๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š
