Chapter 14

A/N Just a little warning, I don't write smut. That's because I mainly read like gay-smut, (😳) and I'm still a virgin so yeah, I won't know what to write... 😂😂 (sorry if you wanted to read smut, 'cause I'm still not gonna write it).

Emma

She woke up next to Killian. Like every morning ever since he came to her and Ruby's flat 7 days ago.

She smiled at him and softly brushed his hair from his forehead.

He stirred slightly in his sleep before opening his eyes. He smiled up at her.

"Good morning love"

"Good morning Killybear", she answered.

Even though this might seem to be the perfect way to start a perfect day, she knew that this day was going to be far from perfect.

Killian would have to leave today.

Back to the US, back to his work and back to their family.

Her vision turned blurry and suddenly the tears were falling on her pillow.

She felt two tumbs wipe her tears away as she looked up into ocean blue eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong love?"

"You have to leave today, and we won't be seeing each other for like about 6 months, and then when I'll see you again, I can't even kiss you first thing because David and Mary Margaret will be their and maybe even Regina and Henry and oh gosh, Regina, we will have to tell them and I- I-"

"Emma, stop", Killian said sternly.

"Come here", he opened his arms for her.

She crawled on top of him and hugged him tightly.

"I just don't want you to go"

"I know little unicorn, and I want to stay as well, but I have to go back to work. We still have today, and when I'm back in the States, we can always skype and stuff, don't worry."

"I just, I just", she started sobbing now, "I just wanna be able to hold you"

"Hey, Emma, relax, we still have today remember? You can hold me as much as you want."

She looked up at him smiling. It was true, they did have all day today.

"What time does your flight leave?"

"10 Pm, so I have to be there at 7"

"Hmm, okay," she nodded, breathing him in, "let's sleep some more."

He laughed at her while she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

She woke up 2 hours later to the sound of Ruby messing around in their appartement.

Or rather, her bedroom.

"Ruubs, what are you doing?"

Ruby looked up at her like she was a thief who had just been caught.

"I- uhh, I just came here to- uhh, see if you guys were still asleep?"

It sounded more like a question then an actual reason.

"Right, and that's why you're on the other side of the room, with my clothes in your hands", she said eyeing the immens pile of clothes Ruby was carrying.

"It isn't what it looks like!"

"No, 'cause there is no way you would actually go in my room while I'm asleep to steal a pile of clothes."

"No", Ruby sighed once Emma looked at her knowingly, "Okay, well yes, but not today. I- uhh, I washed them and thought I'd put them back in your closet before you woke up so you wouldn't see how many clothes I borrowed from you in the past week."

Emma smiled at her, but fairly soon her smiled turned into a frown, followed by her bursting out in laughter.

"These are all from one week?", she laughed when Ruby looked at her questionably.

"Uhh, yes?", she answered, which caused Emma to laugh even louder, and Killian to wake up.

"Bloody hell, why are you laughing so loud so early?"

"I don't know, I just told her that these are all the clothes I borrowed from her this past week and she just bursted out laughing", Ruby answered since Emma was nearly choking in laughter.

Killian didn't seem to get the joke either, because he just shrugged and climbed out of the bed, walking over to the bathroomdoor but stopped when he seemingly noticed Ruby staring at him.

Emma stopped laughing for a minute to follow Ruby's stare, and once she knew why her roommate seemed so in shock, she started laughing again.

"Killybear?"

He looked over to her. O gosh, those eyes.

"Yes love"

O gosh, that accent.

Killian somehow had an Irish accent, but nobody knew how.

Not that she was complaining.

And she sure wasn't complaining about that delicious body of him.

O right, body.

"You're naked", she smirked.

Killian looked down to, well to check if she wasn't joking, and then looked up, turned around and practically ran into the bathroom.

"Sorry Ruby!", he yelled from inside.

Emma bursted out laughing again, since she was taking off guard for a minute when staring at her broth- uhh boyfriend? They still had to figure that out. She would ask him later.

Killian

He looked at himself in the mirror.

He looked good. Genuinly good. No bags under his tired-looking eyes, no fake smiles, but sparkling colorful eyes and real, big smiles.

That's what Emma did to him.

He had never looked this good while he was with Regina.

Not even at their wedding.

A guilty feeling came into him.

Regina had been his everything for so long.

But now he had Emma, and somehow Emma was even more to him.

He wondered how they were going to tell Regina about them, well dating?

He wondered how she was going to react.

She could either accept it, or well, not.

She could even take Henry away from him.

"Killybear? You can come out now, Ruby is gone!"

He smiled at his reflection one last time before walking out of the bathroom, straight into Emma's bed.

She smirked at him knowingly.

"Ruby is gone for the day, and it's only 10 Am, soo?"

"Are thinking what I'm thinking?", he smirked, knowing exactly what she wanted to do.

"O yeah, let's have a movie day!!"

He was ready to jump on top of her when he realised what she had said. That was definitely NOT was he was thinking. He groaned softly while looking at Emma.

Emma smiled at him innocently before slipping out of the bed and putting on some clothes.

"I'll make breakfast while you pick a movie."

When she had walked out of the room it took him a couple of seconds to snap back to reality.

This girl was so weird.

But so worth it.

They walked into the airport hand in hand.

Their movie day had been great, though they didn't remember much of the movies, since their lips were glued together most of the time.

They had eaten dinner with Ruby, after which she had hugged Killian goodbye and they took the tram to Schiphol.

Right now they were in some sort of restaurant, waiting for the announcement that plane was ready to board. Which would be in about an hour.

They talked for a while, before a comfortable silence fell between them as they savoured their last few minutes together.

"Killian?", Emma asked, breaking the silence.

"Yes?"

"I've been wanting to ask you something."

"Go ahead love"

He suddenly remembered that he still didn't know whether they were dating or not. He should ask that after her question.

"What are- I mean, uhh," she blushed and he gave her a quick peck on her cheek.

"No need to be nervous little unicorn, it's just me", he smiled at her, trying to reassure her.

"Okay, I wanted to know, are we like dating? 'Cause we never really made it official but we did talk about it as if we were so..", she trailed off, looking down at her lap.

He put two fingers under her chin, forcing her to look up.

"I've been wondering that too love. So what do you say, be my girlfriend?"

She stared into his eyes as she nodded, and her lips broke into a huge smile.

"Of course."

"Good"

He leaned in to kiss her, but just before their lips touched:

"Flight TK1367 is ready to board."

He sighed and leaned his forehead against hers.

"That's me"

"Okay"

They stood up and walked towards security.

When they neared the gates he stopped, turning Emma around and pulling her in for a deep kiss.

He detached their lips but kept them close, nearly brushing.

"See you in 6 months love."

"Yeah", she said, "6 months."

He gave her one final kiss before turning around and walking through security.

Once he was through, he looked back at her one last time, waving at her and mouthing "I love you".

She waved as well, mouthing "I love you too" back at him.

6 months.

A/N I think I'm going to end this book soon, because as much as I love it, I literally have no inspiration left, so expect like one, maybe two more chapters, depending on how I want to end it.

On another note, this book reached over a 100 votes!

I'm truly amazed by my own writing skills. (Cocky much)

No but seriously (this is very rare, since I'm never serious), I never expected to get this amount of votes, so thanks to everyone who reads and votes, 'cause you make me feel like ("I've been locked out of heaven") me trying to write a story is actually appreciated, which I can't say of my real life friends (I love them though).

(Not that I'm calling you friends, because be honest, every oncer is a part of the oncer-family.)

So a massive applause to you!

Me: *applaudes* *realises that I'm the only one* *keeps applauding*
