Derek's POV
It's been a year since the last season of Dancing with the Stars but 2 years since my last season. Tonight there's a party for all of the pros before the new season starts. I haven't talked to any of them besides for Sasha, Emma and Sharna and Val and Jenna since the season. I have been so busy with World of Dance and some other projects that I'm excited to see everyone. I'm nervous though because I haven't talked to Hayley in almost 2 years. We were together but I ended things because I didn't want to hold her back from what she loves. Since then she hasn't talked to me or answered my messages. Sharna texted me earlier and said that Hayley looks super hot tonight. She said that she's in a black long sleeve crop top shirt and green high rise shorts and sandals. I got dressed in a green striped shirt and light blue jeans. I sent Sharna a picture of my outfit and she gave me her approval. So I let Romie out and then I made my way to mixology. When I got there everyone was already there. I went over to Val and the guys. Val said "did you see Hayley yet?" I said "not yet. I saw her car though." He said "yeah, Jenna went to talk to her right away." I said "I wanna go talk to her at some point." Then Val pointed and I saw her standing there. I walked over to her. I said "hey, can we go talk outside?" She said "yeah sure." She started walking and I followed her. When we got outside I said "it's good to see you." She said "yeah, you too." Then I said "I've missed you." She said "if you missed me then why did you leave?" I said "Hayley, I didn't want to keep you from the show and doing what you love." She said "Derek, I would have left the show because I love you. I always have. I tried falling in love with someone else but I couldn't. You were and still are my one true love. You gave me the best present ever. The day you broke up with me I was gonna tell you I'm pregnant."
