Lately everything had been falling apart. Too many people were getting hurt and too much was happening.

Family members were in and out of hospitals. Y/n had been waiting for Tengen to get home after his month full of missions. He had no breaks this for the past 4 months. Demons were spiraling out of control.

Y/n had plenty of missions as well but not as many because of a recent injury. Tengen was supposed to get a few break days and he was supposed to get home today.

The second Y/n heard the door open she immediately got up and ran to the door. She saw Tengen take off his shoes and walk over to her. She hugged him tightly and he snaked his arms around her, hugging her back tiredly.

"I've missed you and your hugs so much.." Tengen mumbled. Y/n chuckled. "I've missed you too. A lot has been happening while you were gone." She said while pouting.

He let go and held her hand. "Dinner or bed?" He asked. She pondered for a moment. "I'll make some food and catch you up on everything then we can go lay down." Y/n said.

They went to the kitchen and Y/n began making Tengen's favorite food. Makio and the others walked into the kitchen and surrounded Tengen.

Y/n began to feel overwhelmed by the amount of noise and hinatsuru noticed. She rubbed Y/n's back and took over cooking. Y/n told her what she was cooking then left the room. Tengen followed her.

"So what's been happening?" He asked. She stood there for a moment, tears threatening to spill from her eyes. She broke and started venting. She was speaking too fast for him to understand so he hugged her and shoved her face into his chest.

"Breathe for a moment and then tell me." He said. She cried for a few minutes before speaking again. She began to tell him everything that was bothering her. He stayed listening to her and comforting her.

Eventually food was done and everyone ate. Tengen and Y/n went in the bedroom while the other girls stayed out.

Tengen cuddled Y/n comforting her on every way he could. He whispered sweet things to try and make her feel better. He rubbed her back and drew circled in her hand. "I love you." He said before drifting off. She responded even though she knew he was asleep. "I love you too.." she whispered.

428 words. Ok so I want to give you guys an explanation on why I haven't been posting. My mom went to a few ER's (Emergency Rooms) and eventually she went to one that helped her. We found out she has cancer. I've also been trying to focus on school and the mha one shots. I'm so sorry for not posting as much as I would like. I love you guys stay safe <33
