Hermione's POV

After dinner, I dragged Harry and Ron to the common room.

"I think I've got it," I said.

I plopped down in a chair and spread our Greek Mythology textbooks onto the table.

I flipped to Demigods, Tartarus, and Wars.

I read out a part of the demigod section, "Some demigods have special powers related to their godly parent. For example, children of Poseidon, the God of the Seas, have complete control over water, and if they concentrate enough, all liquids."

"And?" Ron asked.

"Percy, when he came out of the water, he was completely dry, you guys didn't notice?"

They shrugged.

"And one time Percy said something about going to Tartarus and back. Tartarus is Gaea, Mother Earth's jail, where all the monsters come from. It takes nine days to fall to the bottom from the surface. It's probably just an expression, but they have a lot of Greek Mythology references. What the Hades, Holy Hephaestus, for the love of Zeus."

"And," I continued, "they keep saying things about being in a war. I thought they were talking about the war with Voldemort, and somehow they fought some Death Eaters in America, but then they mentioned Kronos and Polybotes. A Titan and a giant."

"Even more, this textbook version is different from other Greek myths that I've read about. Once I borrowed a book on Greek Mythology last summer, it said that Gaea was actually a good person. She told Kronos to kill Ouranos because he was cruel, and threw their other children into Tartarus. And it made the gods seem like bad guys because they started a war with the Titans. Many other books says so too. But in this version, the Titans and Gaea are evil."

"And?" Ron asked.

I rolled my eyes, "I think that Greek Mythology is real somehow. And this textbook has the real version. Stories can get mixed up and changed. But these stories have so much detail and they make a lot of sense too!"

"But..."

"But this explains so much! They forget their wands so many times in class! When someone asks them why, they just shrug and say that they don't need it. Our wand is our advantage! I know that Percy and Annabeth said that the physical fighting is our advantage. I guess that's true, but it makes sense. They don't need a wand because they have powers of their own! Leo could be a Son of Hephaestus, because he builds incredible things, and he can summon fire and be immune to it! Percy could be a Son of Poseidon, and Nico could be a Son of Hades!" I flipped to the Demigods chapter, and to the Hades section, "See, here, 'Children of Hades can have control over shadows, the dead, riches, and the underground.' The shadows all bend towards Nico. And they mentioned once that Hazel and Nico were half-siblings. Remember when a ruby just appeared behind Hazel?"

"That's crazy!" Ron said.

"Yes, I know, a day ago I thought of this theory, and thought it was impossible. But now I see that it all fits!"

"That's still...I mean...the planets! And how have we not heard of them?"

I played the last card, I flipped to the introduction on the Demigods chapter, "'Most demigods have natural born reflexes, ADHD, and dyslexia.' Is that enough proof to you?"

Nico's POV

I went back to the common room with Eliza and Drew, wanting to return Eliza's soul to the underworld, but when I got to the front of the steps I saw a box on the floor.

I picked it up, it was blue with a black bow tie. A note on the outside said, For Thalia.

I tore it open, and found a bunch of chocolates inside.

Leo ran up the stairs, "Whatcha got there? Chocolate?" It was like he could smell the chocolate from 20 meters away.

"Yeah," I showed him, "it's for Thalia."

Leo looked at me with a horrified expression, "You're giving those to Thalia?"

"NO!" I nearly slapped him for asking such a stupid question, "It was for Thalia. I found it on the floor."

I picked one up, and Leo eagerly grabbed one too. Thalia wouldn't even know, the whole box would be gone in a minute. She wasn't even looking our way.

"Uh," Drew glanced at the box of chocolates suspiciously, which wasn't a surprise, she's suspicious of everything. "I don't think you guys should eat those."

I ignored her, and popped it into my mouth, Leo did the same.

"Come on Drew," Leo said, he held a chocolate in her face, "try it! It's delicious!"

"No, I don't think I should-"

Leo shoved the chocolate into her mouth.

"Leo!" she shrieked. She spit it out onto the lid of the box on the floor with insane accuracy.

"What?" Leo asked. He grabbed another one and shoved it down his throat.

"They could be spiked with love potion!" Drew panicked. "Who would give Thalia a love potion? Malfoy of course! And it's the day before the dance! (Pretend it is)"

"Uh oh," we stared at each other. No wonder it kind of didn't taste like chocolate.

Draco's POV

I was on my way to the Gryffindor common room, I forced some 1st year to tell me the password. He took a whole two minutes to spill, stupid Gryffindors.

I went a few feet into the common room, ignoring the super fat lady staring at me. What a happy place, I thought. It needs some darkness and some green around here. I grabbed the nearest first year, "Tell Thalia to come over here."

She shook my hands off her, "Why?"

"Just...oh whatever, Thalia? Hey Thalia!"

Instead of skipping over like I thought she would, she glared at me, "What now?"

I blinked a few times, "Uh, nothing." I guess she didn't see that present. I glanced up at those stairs, hoping that that Gryffindor had put it there. I could see the box, but it looked like it was opened. Then I heard a muffled noise and stomping.

I saw Eliza, that girl we had kidnapped but had somehow escaped, Madam Pomfrey had fixed my memories. Her eyes were wide and she was trying to get to me, but Drew held her back and put her hand over her mouth. I backed away a bit.

"Eliza!" I heard her hiss, "You're not in love with him! We have to-" Then she stopped, and got this grin on her face that looked so creepy on her because she was usually scowling, and her smiles were always smirks.

Eliza screamed, "DRAKEY!!"

I freaked, and fell backwards onto my butt, then someone offered me their hand.

I didn't take it, and got up myself. Then with horror, I saw that the hand belonged Nico di Angelo. And beside him was Leo Valdez.

"I brought you flowers," Leo said.

"I brought you chocolates," Nico said.

I ran out the door and tore down the corridor, planning to lead them to Madam Pomfrey.

Nico somehow materialized in front of me from shadows.

"Why are you running from me?" he pouted. Pouted.

I ran around him, and slammed into two of those exchange students, Percy and Annabeth. I think my brain wasn't functioning properly because of lack of oxygen from running, because I apologised. Apologised.

They stared at me for a second, then shrugged it off.

I ran around them, and was almost there when Drew ran in front of me. She smiled at me, and she actually looked kind of pretty when she's smiling. I nearly slapped myself for thinking something like that. I couldn't run around her, she was too fast, so I took out my wand, "Petrificus Totalus!"

She dodged the spell, and I used that moment to run around her.

I was only a few metres away from the infirmary when Drew appeared like a curtain in front of me. She shoved the Invisibility Cloak into her bag, and I plowed into her. We flew like a whole meter, right in front of the infirmary. I tried to get up, but Drew was hugging me to death. I heard someone giggling, and glared in that direction. It was Leo.

"You found him!" he shrieked. He came stumbling over to me, hopping on one foot like the other was hurt or something. Nico ran over to me. And I saw Eliza turn the corner.

Before they could hug me to death or have a human rope for tug of war, I screamed for Madam Pomfrey.

The door flew open and Madam Pomfrey came out. When she saw us, she immediately asked, "Love Potion?"

"Yes!" I said, trying to push myself off Drew before Leo got to me.

She sighed, "The sixth one already!" She pried Drew off me, and I ran in and hid behind Madam Pomfrey when Nico, Leo Drew, and Eliza burst into the room.

"Now, if you drink this, Draco won't run away anymore!" she gave them each a potion from a cupboard full of them.

Nico, Leo, and Eliza immediately drank the potion, but Drew stared at it, "Really?"

"Yes," Madam Pomfrey said.

She drank it hesitantly. After a few seconds, Drew started screaming hysterically, "WHAT DID I TELL YOU?!!" she screamed at Leo.

"I'm sorry!" he cried.

"SORRY DOESN'T CUT IT! YOU ARE SO DEAD VALDEZ!"

He ran out the door, and Drew followed.

Leo's POV

Back when Drew hated my guts, we had this huge prank war. Every time we pranked her or her friends, she'd start screaming at us and trying to kick our door down and beat us up. But now this was for real. I figured she probably wouldn't really kill me, but she'll probably seriously injure me. I hope she'd give up after a while.

I ran down the hallway, she ran pretty fast, about the same as me, the only reason she beat me to Malfoy was because she had tripped me and stomped on my foot.

I looked back, she had her wand out, but I wasn't all that worried, her spells couldn't harm demigods.

"Diffindo!" a chandelier crashed to the floor in front of me, good thing nobody else was around.

I shielded my face, and when glass stopped flying everywhere, I crunched through the glass. She leaped straight over half of the wreckage, took another jump, and tackled me down to the floor, and a piece of glass dug into my calf through my jeans.

I groaned, "I'm really sorry Drew!"

"SORRY. DOESN'T. CUT IT!" she started punching my chest. "YOU. ARE. AN. IDIOT!!"

The punches abruptly stopped, and I saw Annabeth holding Drew away from me.

I rubbed my ribs and plucked the piece of glass out of my leg. I'll eat some ambrosia later.

"LEMME AT HIM!" she was furiously trying to get away from Percy and Annabeth, who were having a hard time holding her back.

"Drew," Annabeth said calmly, "you're going to kill him if you attack him like that."

"I KNOW THAT!" she kept fighting.

Annabeth fixed the chandelier and said, "Okay, what did he do?"

"Forced me to eat chocolate spiked with love potion!"

"Huh?" Percy stared at me, "I thought you were with Calypso?"

"Course I am! I didn't know it had love potion in it! I didn't put it there! It was Malfoy! And I didn't force her to eat it. I just, uh, put it in her mouth because she refused to eat it cuz it might be poisioned."

"And it was!" Drew growled.

"Well I didn't know that!"

"Drew," Annabeth said sternly, "first it's Thalia and Nico, not you two too! Just. Calm. Down."

After a few seconds of struggling, she calmed down. Wow, her anger management really had gotten better. Once I convinced her friends that the hotel room they were staying at was haunted by Samara Morgan, and even created a bunch of effects. She was the only one who didn't believe it, but she still got really mad, and wouldn't talk to us for two days unless her friends would let her beat us up.

She didn't apologize, she never does, but she gave me a crooked smile, "Good night then." She gave me a punch in the arm.

"Yeah, good night." I punched back. She went in the direction of the Slytherin dormitories, and I went back to the Gryffindor dorms with Percy and Annabeth.

***BREAKFAST***

The minute we sat down, Ron said, "I know who you guys are now!"

Nico stared at him, "That we're evil Death Eaters and I'm a son of Voldemort and we're going to whip out our sticks and crucio people?"

"Er, no, and I shouldn't have accused you like that, but you guys seriously were very suspicious. You guys are demigods aren't you?"

"What? Of course not!"

"Don't even try to deny it, I have a ton of proof," Hermione said.

"Okay fine," Annabeth said, "yes, we are, we're here to protect wizards from the Greek monsters and Voldemort. We were undercover because we don't want them to find out that we're training you guys. You need to know physical combat to protect yourself because your spells are useless against the Greek monsters. But they know now, so I don't see any reason why we should stay undercover."

The Golden Trio took a moment to process that information.

"Wow," Ron said.

Suddenly Hermione gasped.

"What what?" we asked.

She held up the Daily Prophet, "All the Death Eaters have escaped from Azkaban. Not only that, there has been multiple sightings of Death Eaters that have already been dead. Also many sightings of weird creatures roaming England!"

"Oh man," Harry said.

"Explain this soul for a soul thing," Hermione demanded.

"Well...it's where you exchange a living person's soul for a dead one. So the dead person comes back to life," Nico explained.

"This is bad," Hermione muttered.

**After a few minutes of silence**

"So," Ron said, "are you guys going to play Quidditch?"

"Huh?" Annabeth asked, surprised by the change in subject.

"You know, Quidditch."

"Oh! Well no, I'd rather watch. And it's going to be pretty unfair to the other teams, you know..."

"I think I'll play," Percy said, "though the brooms are very uncomfortable."

"Me too," I said, "it looks fun!"

"Great! We need two more players on our team. Angelina and Katie Bell don't play anymore. Two of you guys can play Chasers."

"Hey," I said to Annabeth, "it'll be cool if you were a Chaser, Chase."

"Was that supposed to be funny?"

"Only if you have a sense of humor."

She glared at me.
