Personality: Imogen is called The Brains for a reason. She's smart as hell and clever as fuck. Her mind is always turning a hundred miles a minute and it's likely she'll beat anyone in anything logic and intelligence based. She knows how to operate and she knows what she's doing. Because of her obvious intelligence, she tends to have a little bit of an ego and self-confidence. She's also usually an independent worker who knows how to creatively and logically problem-solve. She can be cold and snarky when you first meet her but she does eventually warm up to people. True, she has a sharp tongue, snarky attitude, and a know-it-all kind of moxie, but she's wickedly smart and plenty charming in her own right. She's a bit of a tom-boy, albeit, but she does know how to get what she wants. For this, she can be seen as manipulative and selfish, using wit and cleverness against people. Truthfully, she's loyal to herself above all else. If the option involves keeping her alive but betraying those she's close to, she'll damn well betray you. However, her loyalty wavering tendencies are both rare and unknown. She's typically down-to-earth and more than ready to take anything head on. She's a bit stubborn and extremely determined, but she doesn't know when to quit and can sometimes be seen as reckless. It's also worth mentioning that Imogen is an advocate of sarcasm and dry, dark humor. Though she may not be the funniest of the group, she does her best to stay entertained. She can be sensitive, if you know where to hit her emotionally, though she's hard to crack with most of her true, pure emotions boarded up. She's not very trusting of people and she's hardly ever naïve. Imogen tends to have a pessimistic outlook on life and is definitely a realistic thinker. Optimism is scarce with her, but that doesn't mean it's nonexistent. She's practical and resourceful and overall a dynamic character with a lot up her sleeve. She's the epitome of an anti-hero, really. However, there's a lot more to Imogen than her brain, flaws, and obvious positive attributes.

General Backstory: Imogen grew up in Charleston, South Carolina with only her parents. She was an only child and she really had no other family to fall back on, considering her parents didn't keep in touch with their own families. She was a spoiled child but a bright child and her success was proven even from a young age. She was intelligent, bright, and sassy enough to be the girl who was admirable. But she didn't have a perfect life either. Her parents were both important and wealthy people of their own who kept to themselves and focused on work. Rarely did they make time for their little girl. So, Imogen also grew up with a governess-type figure who helped to raise her. Most things came easy to her and perhaps her bad attitude and manners are due to lack of true affections and lack of parental figures in her life. So, she relied on herself and her fantastic mind. She even managed to graduate two years ahead of her class and be the top of her class. Now, all grown up and successful, Imogen was studying Biology and other life sciences as well as Genetics at Columbia. Though, things certainly took a turn for the worst when she decided to take a vacation to a specific island...

Why on the Island?: Imogen was on the island as both a vacation and an attempt to get some exotic work done. Biology and such fascinates her and considering she was majoring in science, she hoped to make her thesis study on the rare, indigenous species of the island. Though, her plans certainly got thrown for a loop.
