Personality: Aleksandr is a man that can't be summed up into one word. He's charming and charismatic, never afraid to be seen in the spotlight and take charge of a situation. He's got a smooth tongue and a suave demeanor and has a bit of a reputation for being a heart-throb. However, he's got a good heart and is usually sincere in most things that he does. Alek is a bit on the wild side in the sense that he just likes to have a good time and his extroverted nature pushes him towards social settings and new adventures. While he is confident as hell, he's not the best at fully opening up to people and he often tries to hide his true feelings under layers of charm and perfect smiles. He is truthfully pretty genuinely boyish and he is especially thoughtful when you get to know him. He's compassionate as well and the kind of guy to do what he can to help others, even if he tries to hide the true purity of his heart. Alek is respectful and honorable too. Overall, the Grand Duke can't be easily described without knowing the full extent of his soul and mannerisms, but despite everything, he means well.

Background: Aleksandr had a fairly nice upbringing. His status provided him everything he could have ever wanted and needed and his parents were always considerate of their children and allowing them to grow up without fear or worry. However, he was often overshadowed by his older sister, the Grand Duchess and so a lot of his mannerisms developed out of trying to claim some ounce of attention for himself.

Thoughts on the Selection: Alek is pretty excited. Of course he doesn't want to get his hopes up too soon, but he's genuinely interested in how this all plays out. He truly hopes to find something good in all of this. Call him a bit of a hopeless romantic if you want, but he's more than ready to find love, or at least have the time of his life.
