Personality: Akio is many things. He's compassionate and diplomatic. He's also quiet yet curious. Akio is the type of man whose bravery stems from what he's willing to do for others instead of rushing recklessly into battle. He's typically logical and mellow and the kind of guy who is willing to crack a joke or two to lighten up the mood. Many people insist that he's noble and selfless and maybe he is. However, he's also stubborn, passionate, and selfish from time to time too. He has a bit of a temper if you know where to push him, so watch out. Though, it's worth mentioning that it's rare for see Akio fully angry. Frustrated sure, but fuming? Hardly ever. He's light-hearted and free-spirited with enough confidence to get him through. He's a man of many talents but he's usually rather humble. Akio is a hard person to define because of his dynamism. He isn't one thing or another, he's many things and that's what makes him so complex. He doesn't always reveal everything to everyone, making him somewhat reserved, but he's undoubtedly loyal and he's not the kind of person you would doubt. Akio is just a man who has so much more to offer, if only someone would give him the chance.

Background: Akio was born into a fairly normal farming family. His father owned a rice farm, a humble man indeed. Money wasn't overly prevalent, but they were content in their humble life. He's the eldest of his siblings and the only brother. He has two younger sisters, Kikiyo and Sakura. However, their humble lives were disrupted by the greed of the empire. Truly, his family was left in disarray, their crops stolen and with little compensation, if any at all. Akio was a talented and skillful young man who knew a thing or two. He would train endlessly with the notion of saving his family and protecting them from tyranny. However, one day the band of ninja warriors approached him and brought him in to their alliance, promising that they would do what they could to right the wrongs of the empire. So, he joined them, in an attempt to help his family and everyone else who suffered similar hardships.
