Final Fight

The camp was starting to pack up. Their has been more human activity spotted the The guard, they were closing in. Suna comforted Sans, assuring him that they would be alright, that she wouldn't let anything bad happen to him, even if the humans did attack. She reminded him of how there was the possibility of hiding in plain sight in human form. Suna decided to take him to the queen to see how she was doing. They'd found out that she too was pregnant, an heir on the way. That had truly lifted the monsters spirits. "Good morning, my queen. I hope pregnancy is treating you well?" She mused. "About as well as you'd expect." She chuckled. "What brings you here? With Sans? Is he worried again? I assure you, we will all be alright, but if you wish, I can teach you the basics?" Sans perked. "are you growing a soul too?" He asked. She sputtered. "Well.. yes."
"cool! you and mommy are the same then. i already know my abcs and 123s, but i would love to know how to read?"
"He does?"
"Wing taught him."
"Very well, let us go read then, child." The pair headed to the king and queen tent and Suna smiled. "She will make a wonderful mother.."

With Sans being distracted from the dangers of war, Suna went to her mate. Upon entering his tent, she found him asleep at his desk. He'd been working so hard, this last week. Doing anything he could to give monsters some sort of advantage. In other words, he's overdone it again. She sighed quietly and, with some assistance with her magic, picked him up. She tucked the tired skeleton into his cot, giving a small kiss, before she let him be. With her mate resting and her friend and son busy, she really didn't have much to do. She felt that that was a good thing. It was better to be bored than dead after all. So, she decided to take a walk.

She didn't want to be to far from camp. She had to be close enough to alert them, and protect her family if something did happen. Being pregnant, most of her magic went into feeding and producing the souling. The only attacks she'd really be able to do was bone attacks, nothing else. Still it was better than not being able to do anything. She hummed a quiet tune to herself, Rise. It was the tune she heard when she started a battle sequence, and thought it suited her rather well. (Song above for reference, I couldn't find a version with no lyrics.) Perhaps not. She was starting to head back when she heard something. She paused and listened closer. It was a continuous thump on the ground like.. her sockets widened as she used check.. like hundreds of humans were coming their way.

Fear coursed through her. They were boxed in on all sides, the humans were coming to end this NOW. She turned and ran back to camp. "SOUND THE ALARMS! THE HUMANS ARE COMING! WE MUST FLEE!" She cried out as the guards saw her approaching. Grillby was among them. "What?!"
"They have us surrounded! We have to evacuate!"
"Go to your family, I'll gather the army and try and slow them down. Syver, inform the king and queen! Evacuate all nonfighters and head towards the mountain!" Suna knew Grillby had this and took off to her mate. Sans would be safe with Toriel. "WINGDINGS! WAKE UP! THE HUMANS ARE COMING! She shook the life out of her husband while he tried to make sense of thing. "What..? Humans..? Wait-" He grabbed her arms to stop the constant shaking. "The humans are coming?!"
"Yes."
"What are we waiting for! Start packing! Essentials only."
"I'm aware, where are you going?!"
"To bide you and Sans time." He started toward the exit. "The guard can do that Wing, please!" He halted her and hugged her close. "I must. The blasters will help. That's what they were built for." He gave her a passionate kiss. "I love you, and our children. Remember that." With that he shortcutted, leaving her alone.

At first she did start packing. Essentials for her, Wingdings, Sans. But she was worried. She didn't, wouldn't, lose Wingdings. So screw it. She was going to make sure he lived. As she stepped out, she was nearly swept up in the chaos of the camp. A majority of the monsters were headed towards the mountain but many, guards mostly, were fighting the human enemy and darting every which way. Blood and dust littered the ground as Suna searched for her husband. She was confronted by humans, herself, but they didn't last long. With these roadblocks, she decided to take human form so they would leave her alone. For all they knew she was a prisoner that escaped and was lost in the battle. As was what war often was. "Come on, come on. Give me something, anything.."

A bright flash of purple caught her eye, leading her to Wingdings and his blasters. He was injured, two fresh cracks in his skull. One traveled from his socket to his teeth, the other went from his other socket, which now drooped, to the top of his cranium. "WINGDINGS!" She called, without realization. The new wounds left her shock and scared. Said skeleton heard her and whipped around. "Suna! What on earth are you doing here?! Where's Sans?!"
"WINGDINGS LOOK OUT!" Suna was already running to intercept the arrow coming at him. It struck her side and she gasped in pain. "SUNA!" She looked up, hoping to see her husband. Instead she saw a flash of Iron as a blade came down on her. The man was disintegrated before her eyes as she collapsed into someone's arms. "W-wing.."
"Suna! Suna.. no, no, no! Don't die, you won't die.." She smiled lightly, painfully. "I.. I love you, Wing..... take care of.... take care of the children for me......... make sure they know................. that I love them...?"
"Tell them yourself! You will be ok, Suna! I won't let you die!"
"Wing... if you love me....... let me go........... I may just come back." She chuckled weakly. "Who knows........."
"NO, SUNA, NO! SUNA! SUNA! SU-" It faded away. The noise, the fear. It all faded away.
