Another Setback

She groaned as she started, yet again to replace what was lost. All that progress, gone. That last reset had been rough. Her nightmares had quite literally come true. She'd lost her sons. She'd been alone. And in the end, she'd died too. She wanted to in her mate's arms. She sought his comfort, but he wasn't here to give it. He was stuck in the darkness, and the one thing that could get him back was reset back to nothing. She leaned against the machine. "I must stay strong.." She needed to remember that Wingdings was suffering too. Solitude had to be the absolute worst thing that could happen to a monster. "I've got this, I've got you, Wingdings." She opened a panel into the wiring system. "Stars I miss you.."
"MOTHER.. THERE YOU ARE." The boys had come down. "Here I am." Suna replied, looking up. "ya hadn't come up yet, was afraid ya went back to sleep.." Sans joked weakly. "I.. I apologize. I'm sure you got worried. I've been here, working on this.." She gestured to the machine. "i see that."
"

YOU LOOK TIRED, MOM." She shook her head. "I'm-" Then Papyrus picked her up. "YOU ARE NOT, THAT WAS YOUR FIRST GENOCIDE."

"..." She went limp in the youngest's arms. Sans trailed behind. Papyrus didn't stop at the couch, he carried her upstairs and into his bedroom, putting her down there. "Papyrus, I'm not taking your-"
"YOU ARE! I'M NOT GIVING YOU A CHOICE, NOW REST!" He pushed her firmly into his bed. "PLEASE.."
"I.. alright. I will try." She didn't succeed. She certainly did try, but she couldn't. She was wide awake. Every time she closed her eyes, she snapped awake again, afraid that the demon child was here to kill them. She sat up in the bed and examined her surroundings. At first glance, Papyrus' room seemed childish. The figurines, flag, and and race car bed all had a purpose. One that, looking around again, she could see. The flag told her that he was proud of his species. The bed was his hope in a better future despite the genocides. The figurines were a stratiging tool. Yet another dream he was working on. Royal guardsmen. A crash downstairs snapped her out of her thoughts and she launched herself off the bed and down the stairs.

Sans had the child pinned against the wall where the TV once was. Their red eyes gleamed. He looked ready to murder. "what do you want, player? this isn't your pattern."
"I wanna know what you skeletons know about the man behind the grey door, the man who speaks in hands." They replied simply. "More specifically, I wanna know about the woman who speaks in hands and how she appeared out of nowhere." Papyrus looked utterly baffled while Sans eyelights disappeared. "stars mom, what'd you do.." He muttered under his breath. "And what happens if you get that information? Information is vital in war, you know that. It doesn't come free." Suna spoke up, glowering at the demon child. She was tempted to kill them then and there, but that would mean another reset. More progress lost. The boys looked to their mother. "I WAS HOPING YOU WERE STILL ASLEEP.."
"hoping not to get you involved this time.. what happened after i died, mom?" The Player grinned. "She killed me over, and over, and over again. For not being able to teleport or whatever, she sure was a beast. Then, she spoke in hands. So it got me thinking.. of course you of all monsters would know the man who speaks in hands." Suna silently cursed herself. She'd jeopardized her family. "What do we get and what do you want to know?"
"I want him gone. The Void was my domain before he came and messed everything up. I ruled the beings in there! This brat is my only escape from that thing now.. he kills my pets. All I want to know is how you know him and how your going to get him out of my home."

" wait, wait, wait. you're telling me, you murdered everyone over and over again because you had a new roommate?" We were all less than impressed. "Have you lived with that man?! He's insufferable!" They snapped. Suna summoned a blaster and pointed it at them. "That's my husband your speaking of, human!"
"relax mom, let's not start a genocide if we can help it... even if i want to dunk them some too." Papyrus looked bewildered. "WHAT.. ARE YOU SAYING..? SANS, YOU KNOW.. UH.. WHATEVER THAT IS?" The Player seemed caught off guard too. Suna nodded and held up a finger to Papyrus. "Your questions will be answered momentarily, I promise, I wish to deal with them first." She turned to Sans. "It's as you said, you've dealt with genocides longer than I. Would it be beneficial to tell them what they want? From what I can tell, they aren't lying." He sighed. "they're not. might as well, i'm not happy about the genocides, but we want the same thing. dad out. if we get the added bonus of no more genocides, then i'm all in." She nodded in agreement. "the language is called wingdings, pap. it's our father's native tongue."
"Your father and I taught Sans wingdings at a young age, and I'm sure you could learn to, if you'd like."
"Father? Wait the man who speaks in hands is your father!?" The Player shouted. "And my husband. We are working on a machine to get him out, but the resets are stopping our progress, so if you really want him out, STOP THIS MADDNESS!" They held up their hands. "Deal. This will be my last reset so you can have your precious Frisk back, and I get my home." Before they could be stopped, they pressed reset once again.
