Revali was in the newly completed Flight Range, the workers hastened the pace of its construction because the young warrior had isolated himself in the highest mountains of the region to train day and night since that incident.

He was the one who found the burnt corpse (The one that the Yiga Clan used to trick them) with Sleeper's clothes on it, everyone mourned and blamed themselves for the death: Especially him, his pride was stabbed, shattered, they had trusted his being to protect someone who would give the answers to several questions from the past, the nearest one to the Divine Beasts's origins but he failed.

Kaneli like other rito told him that he did what he could, for Revali it was humiliating, the rito was even reduced to a Sheikah girl helping him to return to his village the day were Sleeper got abducted, everything was simply horrible.

Revali felt the wind on his feathers, during a furious takeoff he discovered that he could summon strong whirlwinds even before taking flight, he imagined a kind of circular air flow surrounding him and little by little the air of the place obeyed that vision.

The air swirled around him and became strong, powerful like that internal anger he felt towards himself, but when he opened his eyes and spread his wings, the rito shot into the sky without having much control causing him to crash into the ground.

-I must be better, I won't tolerate any other mistake- he demanded and got up again, he heard a rito flying in the distance -General Revali!- It was a young apprentice, when the young one landed he did a salute by placing his wing on his chest and bowing in front of him.

Revali sighed, he didn't like formalities, he preferred when they went straight to the point -Speak fast- he ordered with some weariness -The Sheikah Scientists Purah and Robbie are coming the next week to evaluate the newly-founded Divine Beast "Vah Medoh", they ask for you and your squad for total protection-

They've discovered in the ancient engravings of the divine beast the name, "Medoh". As they deduced, it was in the name of "Medli" the first sage of the rito and one of the heroines who helped the chosen one by the triforce of courage to defeat Ganondorf.

The archer's prejudice towards the Sheikah reduced considerably but not enough to continue to feel their intruder-like presences when they reached the village.-I'll go talk to the elder about the manner, thanks for informing me- Revali went silent for a few moments -You were training, isn't it?- he asked, carrying his wings behind his back, the young rito looked a bit nervous. -Y-Yes- he answered shakily.

That young general had his fame in the village for several things: His incredible flying ability, being the best of all in archery, a lot of arrogance but also ...

-You move your wings a lot when you are gliding, remember that your wings are almost the size of an adult's, so there's no need to flap as much as when you were a kid, keep your wings steady for the next time, that will save energy for when you need it- Revali said pretending disinterest.

Revali was known for advising those who really needed help, but it happened on rare occasions, little glimpses of gentleness that he immediately concealed -Maybe with that you no longer look like some kind of poorly made toy or a broken kite- he added, the young warrior looked at him angrily before leaving.

-Jerk- the young rito murmured before flying away but he was taking into account the General's advice.

The general turned now in the opposite direction, where they had found Medoh, at the mountains; That divine beast seemed to call him, not only its form, its technology, but something in that thing, it called his name, made him feel chills, as if he could perceive a voice, something.

As soon as he stopped listening to the other rito, he waited a couple of minutes before taking flight towards the mountains, near where they had found Sleeper; There it was, the snow highlighted its splendor: The Divine Beast Vah Medoh, guardian of the rito.

It was finally alone, the sheikah didn't leave that place until now that Purah and Robbie were going to come, he could feel the Beast being glad to be alone after being surrounded by unknown people.

He brought a wing closer and caressed the surface, it felt like stone but there was something odd about it -W-What the hell? - Medoh was warm, the stone from which it was built seemed to retain heat despite being under ice and stone for millennia, but not only the temperature surprised him, it was as if he felt the beast sleeping.

Medoh, Revali could swear it was breathing in a calm pace -I will take good care of you, Medoh, my name is Revali- he greeted, warmly.

He sat down at the foot of the machine and took down from his back the prototype of a new bow that he baptized as "Great Eagle Bow" believing that in this way he would atone for his sin of letting Sleeper die.

___ P.O.V. Y/ N ___

I was dreaming, I was running through a snowy forest, probably very high on a mountain, my sight was blurry, I couldn't see anything, or anyone, but my feet couldn't stop, the air was running out from my lungs, my voice tried to scream but only a very low tone came out - Where are you?! - I tried to yell, I was looking for someone, something.

When I got to the edge of the place there was a kind of barrier in front of me that seemed like bars made of black smoke, when I approached my hand they were burning.

"Outside", on the other side they were silhouettes of my family, Link, my friends - Please! Don't go! Don't go! - I begged over and over again, but the barely visible shapes turned around, a snow storm surrounded them, even when they left I kept screaming.

I was like a bird, inside a huge cage, unable to go with my loved ones.

That made me wake up suddenly, I was sweating, my heart was beating faster than usual "It was just a dream, breathe, you are alive, you are alive" I repeated inside my head.

The morning sun rays were entering to the window, it was raining as usual but at least there were no thunders falling around as it used to in Akkala; I stood up and slightly opened the window of the room to see the place with a smile, no matter the weather... I was finally going to meet this new Hyrule !

But it pretty very early, I liked to take advantage of the day even though I looked at my bed a little tempted "Maybe ...Five more minutes"

Someone knocked on the door "I think not."

-Y/n! We're almost going to leave!- someone said from the other side.

-10 minutes please!- I yelled, I got dressed, and painted my face with the usual marks.

After getting up, I saw my reflection in the mirror, joined my hands and said a little prayer -Dad, Kitta, take care of me, please- I went to open a small chest at the foot of the bed, there were my bracelets and the cape, I had did everything possible to convince Master Kohga that the Sheikah Prototype didn't work, before they could confirm their doubts I hid the bracelets in different places every certain time.

I wore the cape that now had a hood, the mouth mask under the chin, the glasses above my forehead, and stored the bracelets deep in my pouch, although I was fond of Sooga, there was the possibility that he would search my room for those objects after I left.

Already downstairs, there were the same Yiga I had trained with, Sebit and Merv, two Hylians who joined the clan's cause after the father of one was killed in combat, the other because her brother passed away after he didn't receive medical care when he got sick, a soldier.

They were good people but they gave me a very bad feeling. The Yiga clan killed civilians without showing the slightest remorse about that; it definitely applied a phrase that I heard around some time ago: "The cause justifies the actions"

That's why they were some of the members that Sooga trusted the most to train me, their heart was cold because of that unreasonable phrase.

They were eating breakfast next to other guests who were passing through or members of the clan, none of them wore their uniforms (it would be quite uncomfortable to be like that at all the time) plus they still had to appear to be a quiet community.

-Hey! ! Y/n! I ordered strawberry tart and milk for you, It will be your first time outside the village! - Sebit exclaimed enthusiastically, they were sitting opposite each other leaving a chair in the middle for me, in that reserved place was my plate along with a wooden jar for one.

I walked over and a really sweet smell reached my nose, the tart was beautifully decorated, I sat down and took a drink of the milk; It was cold, it had a sweet touch of honey with cinnamon -Ahhh! How delicious! - I exclaimed, Merv meanwhile sliced a piece of the tart to put it on the plate -You must try this one-

I took some of the food with a fork and brought it to my mouth; The puff pastry and the biscuit were still warm, the syrup, the mermelade with the strawberry combined so richly, I had to close my eyes as if I wanted to capture that flavor all my life.

"The food of this era is the most delicious thing I have eaten in my life, thanks Hylia I was able to try it!" I thought to myself.

I heard a couple of laughs coming from both of them -The owners always offer you this kind of things for free. Why don't you eat like this more often? I would have this for breakfast every day- the teen commented with a smile -That would take away the special feel Sebit, I like to have this as small prizes after doing something hard or completing a task- I answered.

Sebit made a gesture with his shoulders. -It will continue to be special at all times- he replied -Finish your breakfast, we should be on our way already- Interrupted Merv.

When we got out Sooga was at the entrance of the village, he was wearing an elongated hat together with a cape, the two pieces covered his face and body completely, he held the reins of a black horse that already had a pair of full big pouches on the saddle.

-Remember your mission, intimidate that child, and if someone gets in the way, you shall not hesitate- he whispered, handing me the mount, his voice sounded cold, distant, I pressed my lips and nodded -Understood ...- After saying that, I waited for my friends who went for their horses.

-The majestic sight of the Eagle before taking flight! - exclaimed a voice, Sooga and I turned around, wearing a hood, we could barely see his face but it was ...

-Master Kohga! - Sooga exclaimed bowing as if he was in front of a deity, I did the same, the master came on a white horse, accompanied by a spotted one where an extremely pale and thin stranger was going, I felt shivers, that guy ... It gave a horrible feeling.

Kohga jumped off his horse and grabbed my cheeks -At last! Your final test to be an official member of the Yiga clan! Strive like never before! Or don't bother to come back! - he exclaimed, the Master was squeezing my face very tightly, I could barely smile kindly -I-I'll do my best M-Master-

The Master pulled all my weight towards him and when he released me I fell to the ground -Come on! I must introduce you to someone! - he ordered, I stood up while rubbing my cheeks, I followed him until meeting with that stranger with the disturbing aura.

He was extremely skinny, pale, his brown hair was long, even with the hood on I could tell that, there were pronounced dark circles under his yellow eyes but the most striking thing was the ornament on his head, whose stone in the center was ... Like an eye, yellow with a sharp black pupil in the center.

-Y/n! Meet Astor! -

Astor descended from his horse and began to surround me, like some kind of vulture prowling a corpse, that made me step away -My pleasure, Mr. Astor- I said, speaking aloud, he arched an eyebrow understanding the hint -Pardon my intrusion into your personal space, but it's curious to see the perfect state in which Sleeper is after those rumors of his/her/their death, our lost millennial Sheikah -

I stood firm and took a deep breath while looking into his eyes -Yes, apparently the rumors of my death were somewhat exaggerated-

He smiled pleased -You could be very useful for my studies. What do you think of doing your first official mission in collaboration with me and leaving such a simple task to those Yiga who are going to escort you? - Astor asked with a friendly tone accompanied by a gentle smile.

But... That aura and that stink ... I didn't know what it reminded me of but it wasn't a good thing.

I got on my horse, Merv and Sebit had positioned themselves with their horses on the road ahead -I'm afraid, I shall decline your offer for now, but please enjoy your stay in our town- I replied, Astor's aura changed to an angry one with what i said -You keep speaking with a very formal and old accent, I hope you can solve it as soon as possible- Kohga pointed out, I nodded and made the horse go with my companions.

"That guy, he's bad, he's bad, he's bad," my instincts screamed, I took out the map from my personal pouch and gave a quick glance to this new Hyrule.

"It's too different from my Hyrule ... It doesn't matter, I must find a way to be free, I won't let that cage be real" after studying the roads and their changes I made the horse start to run.

(This fanfic will combine events from the original BoTW but the main enemy from Age of Calamity, since we are talking about a new timeline where you will decide if you will save everyone or die trying.

For now Astor shows a lot of interest in you, not in a romantic way, to those who do not know Astor is a kind of psychopath, if you had accepted your adventure surely it would have already ended, you are already on your way to the Lanayru region, there is much to see ! And, we're at the beginning of the pride month! Happy pride!)
