___N/A P.O.V___

On the day of the calamity many things happened, so many that it is difficult which of all the scenarios could be taken first, the champions were locked up in their divine beasts and then suffered a bloody death at the hands of the creatures that were created in essence by Ganon who he had carefully observed each champion knowing their weaknesses.

The Zora princess, Mipha, and her self-doubt was her downfall.

The Goron chief, Daruk and his fear took him to the grave.

The Gerudo Matriarch, Urbosa and her anger led to her extermination.

And finally the rito warrior, Revali: it could have been many things that brought the end of the general, his pride, the darkness, or the fear of believing that the love of his life had died.

The rito are not used to fighting at night, that day the storm hung over Vah Medoh creating a blurry field of vision, the wind obstructed the path of the arrows over the enemy, the air currents that Revali created sometimes played in against him and made him crash against one of the several pillars inside the divine beast.

In the end, Revali crawled along the platform leaving a long trail of blood, part of his chest destroyed, literally using all his strength to reach Vah Medoh's main control unit.

"I can't end like this" the rito thought anguished in his head.

He lost against Wind Blight Ganon, one of the creatures that was born due to the blood ritual, a monster that had no bottom part of its body, a long red mane came out from its head waving with the wind, it had a terrorific mask whose eyes just admired the half-dead rito fighting for his life, a cannon made of ancient artifacts attached to its right arm was pointing towards him.

Hope or fear, as Windblight Ganon aimed his cannon at the rito for his coup de grâce, Revali delivered the last message he would ever give:

"S.O.S*"
(Help)

History repeated itself in each of the divine beasts.

Astor looked at the landscape from the highest tower in the castle, with a smile, sunk in the ecstasy of having won, even though y/n disappeared he/she/they left him with enough blood to pull the strings, but a couple of captains trying to make way for innocent civilians in the citadel caught his attention, among the people was y/n unconscious being carried by a couple of people who were looking to the sides as if they were seeking for help.

-They think they can get out of here unscathed- he taunted, from his tunic he took out the blood-stained cream-colored scarf, and wielding it towards the sky he shouted -Ganon! I order you to devour everything! - he exclaimed.

The scarf fluttered in the air, the blood soaked in it soon detached from the fabric, coalescing into a small sphere that floated towards the orb as a last offering of blood.

But the scepter that the sorcerer was holding exploded into a thousand unrecognizable pieces at that moment, the orb expelled malice again until it melted enveloping Astor, devouring him -This is not part of the plan- he muttered, trying to free himself but the thick liquid refused to release him.

The scepter disappeared, the scarf went flying into the air, and Astor was the last blood sacrifice Ganon needed to materialize, or at least a gloomy image of what the tyrannical monarch had once been, a slim figure, with a pronounced beard and several arms that possessed ancestral weapons of diverse nature.

Now that he was complete, that he had a body, he would be unstoppable.

Meanwhile, only one champion remained to be defeated, but was there a special Ganon's Blight to defeat him? It was not necessary, Link's excessive confidence in his sword was almost his grave.

And it was almost like that if it hadn't been for Zelda...

The pair of hylians could not reach the castle, Ganon sent all the guardians that were prowling around the area to follow them and they did so, the champion of the sword faced monsters of all kinds, guardians, he fought so much that even the master sword agonized with pain from the wear of its edge.

They were at the height of the Twin Peaks, in the middle of a plain full of guardians who had ambushed them, the confident swordsman was going to take a step to eliminate the next guardian when his body stopped responding.

Link fell to one knee and quickly reached for his sword to still stand firm and protect Zelda, both of them covered in mud, blood... desperation.

-Link, save yourself! Go!- begged the princess placing her hands on the young hero's shoulders - I'll be fine! Don't worry about me!- Zelda said and used all her strength to keep her voice from breaking -Run!-

No... He couldn't run away, he wasn't going to, but his body was so tired... Soon he heard the metallic footsteps of a still active guardian looking for its next prey, leaning on the sword again, the knight stood up wobbling a bit in the process.

Soon he saw it, a guardian walking over the bodies of the metallic debris looking for its target, as soon as the machine spotted the princess and her knight, it walked towards them emitting a couple of beeps, ready to shoot.

It didn't matter if he died there, Link positioned himself to fight until he felt Zelda forcefully push him aside while screaming at the top of her lungs.

-NO!-

From one moment to another the princess of the fallen kingdom was standing in front of him, extending her right hand that began to emit a light, a light so beautiful that it seemed like the sun itself...

The triforce appeared shining powerfully in Zelda's hand, from one second to another they were enveloped in a brilliant explosion that flooded the entire area and unfolded a pillar of light that reached the sky but only existed for a couple of moments.

When everything cleared, the guardian's head shook for a few seconds before dark spheres came out of its body turning off completely, followed by the other guardians who were lurking around.

Surprised, Zelda lowered her hand without looking away from it -Was...Was that? The power...-

Would there be... hope? After everything that was happening? After everything? After what they lose?

A dry sound sounded behind her, Link fell to the ground, he was breathing heavily, his whole body did not move, he was in the last moments of his life.

The princess hurried over and approached to him -No, no...Link! Get up!- She called him with anguish, using her voice, moving him as long as he didn't close his eyes and surrender to death, she took him by the shoulders and shook desperately feeling the almost inert body of the swordsman.

Link tried to sit up, a sudden taste of blood filled his lungs making him cough violently, Zelda brought her face closer to the swordsman's, contemplating his scars, his dying expression, feeling her heart sink in pain -You're going to be just fine...- The young champion could barely turn to see her, he raised his head, he wanted to tell her not to worry, that he hated to see her afflicted, but when the champion opened his mouth his head went back and fell unconscious.

After witnessing in horror how the last champion fell, the princess rested her head on the knight's chest to sob, now she was completely alone.

Or at least that's how it was until.

Someone, something called.

It wasn't a voice, but rather a sensation that made her look up, her eyes met the master sword whose shattered edge emitted a gentle bluish light.

As soon as the sword caught Zelda's attention, it shone once more, like a faint heartbeat, but a heartbeat after all.

-The sword...? So he can...He can still be saved?- muttered the young woman.

-Princess!- she heard in the distance, a pair of sheikah rushed towards where she and the knight were, it was true, they were escorting them instead of y/n, the pair of sheikah bowed to her -Princess! Are you alright?!- asked one of them with a relieved expression in his eyes.

Zelda looked at them, there was a special sanctuary, one that was born among the sheikah centuries ago after the development of that prototype that kept y/n alive for so many centuries, if that prototype could cure and keep her beloved friend alive for so many time, maybe...

-Take Link to the Shrine of Resurrection. If you don't get him there immediately, we are going to lose him forever!- She ordered them -Is that clear!?- the warriors nodded -So make haste and go! His life is now in your hands!-

It was then that one of them took the dying young man to carry him behind his back, Purah and Robbie were close and all together they went to the Shrine's direction.

There was still one task to do.

Zelda noticed that she still had to protect the master sword that was laying completely alone on the floor, she took the weapon in her hands as if it were a weak creature -Come, you also need to recover- she whispered.

She wanted to cry and keep crying, but Link had sacrificed himself for her... Her beloved and brave Link, her dear friends, her beloved father, all of them, the princess had to move on no matter what.

Despite the dirt, wounds and everything else, she gracefully walked towards the Great Hyrule Forest, her body was emitting a golden light that completely enveloped her acting like a force field, she was looking straight ahead, having a serene expression on her face.

___

Y/n woke up, and that shouldn't happen, he/she/they felt something crushing his/her/their, when he/she/they could recover enough the sheikah realized that it was someone on top of him/her/them.

He/She/They was outside the castle, the citadel, the wind vehemently whipped his/her/their face, it was very cold, everyone around him/her/them was screaming, running, the guards were chasing innocents.

An intermittent buzzing did not leave his/her/their ears, y/n continued to distinguish what was around until he/she/they could see a very familiar face close to his/her/their.

-You're... Safe... That's good- It was Sebit who was on top of the sheikah, he had used his body to protect him/her/them from some enemy, the boy's entire back was singed, the burning smell invaded y/n's nose.

-I couldn't... Pay my debt to Master Kohga... But at least, you're okay- he muttered, his mask was broken in half, the sheikah could see his injured face, his friend's visible eye shed a tear while stroking the head of y/n.

To one side of them was Merv who was face down and motionless, dead.

The two of them had taken him/her/them out of the castle (Or wherever he/she/they reappeared) using their lives, Sebit stared at him/her/them, terror invaded the bodyguard knowing that at any moment he was going to die, from one second to another Sebit's body would be just a pile of charred meat -I'm very sorry, for everything-

Despite still feeling deep pain from the wound in his/her/their chest, y/n extended his/her/their arms to surround Yiga's body with force, unable to cry, perhaps due to the shock caused by everything that was happening around them, he/she/they had a terrified face but was still trying to make a warm gesture like hugging someone.

-Forgive me- Sebit repeated with his voice trailing off, the sheikah couldn't answer and finally felt him stop breathing making his body become even heavier.

Y/n couldn't move, his/her/their mouth tasted of blood, his/her/their body ached horribly, they had probably saved him/her/them in a useless way, he/she/they would probably die there from blood loss.

Some very familiar silhouettes passed by them, Impa could barely stand up, she was carrying a child who wouldn't stop crying and Rael was helping a woman to run, they were being chased by a couple of guardians.

From the eye of one came a beam that created a huge explosion knocking down a building hindering enough the sheikah who tried to escape, Impa gave the child to the woman and limping because of an injured leg, she walked towards the guardian -Take them away, Rael-

She was going to die, y/n couldn't move, he/she/they was lying on the floor like one of the many dying people waiting for their end, but the sheikah had to do something.

-Impa, don't be stupid! We must go now! - begged the poet.

She was going to die like Sebit and Merv.

His/Her/Their friends, his/her/their new home, Revali, Ordon, everyone, everything was lost, something inside him/her/them told him so.

What was the point of holding back then?

As the guardian slowly approached the royal advisor who was already injured, y/n was patting Sebit's body to take out one of his kodachi "Fierce deity..." he/she/they thought as feeling a current of energy run through his/her/their body , the wound in his/her/their chest burned even more, his/her/their lungs filled with blood, he/she/they could no longer breathe "Give me your strength".

Before the guard could fire directly at the sheikah facing her, something deflected the shot at its own head, the guard exploded.

Rael who had closed his eyes tightly holding back the pain of seeing another friend die reopened them to find y/n with silver hair, their eyes alike, an aura similar to white fire surrounding him/her/them and had wounds all over his/her/their body, the Fierce Deity was standing for probably a last time.

Where did he/she/they come from? None of the sheikah knew, the bodyguard lowered his/her/their weapon and straightened up, as if waiting for an order, a word, something.

-Y-Y/n?- Impa asked approaching -Y-Your chest, you're bleeding horribly, what happened to you? -

Y/n didn't answer, he/she/they turned his/her/their head slowly towards her, then turned his/her/their attention to the front as if concentrating on maintaining control and started walking to where the rubble didn't hinder his/her/their steps it seemed that he/she/they was escorting them out of the city.

Impa and Rael exchanged glances, they began to accompany the woman and her son while they were carried by a kind of creature that no longer seemed to be their friend, at least not for now, they did not know if he/she/they would return because his/her/their mortal body was quite hurt.

As they left the city, the woman they were escorting separated from them carrying the child with her to meet a group of survivors who recognized her immediately, but y/n kept walking as if he/she/they was still in the middle of a mission.

-I'll take care of them, follow him/her/them- murmured the poet before separating from her.

Hurt and scared, Impa made sure to go after the Fierce Deity.

Following a deity who was taking down the guardians trying to block his/her/their path further injuring even more his/her/their mortal body in the process, he/she/they stopped right at the entrance to the Great Hyrule Forest where y/n dropped to one knee and brought a hand to his/her/their chest still in that state of trance.

The fierce deity could hear a voice or feel a presence that the royal advisor could not, Impa brought her kodachi up to her face ready to fight until she could see who y/n was waiting for.

-P-Princess! - Impa exclaimed full of relief, happiness, her legs trembled, for a few moments Zelda's aura and almost heavenly presence disappeared, the young woman ran towards the white haired one to hug her tightly -Impa! You're safe, that's good... That's good...- she said as if seeing her had renewed her spirit, but then she turned serious when looking at y/n.

It was an expression of sadness, she slowly separated from the advisor now addressing at the Fierce Deity -Your mortal body is very wounded, but still...- while speaking, y/n stood up facing face to face with the priestess of Hyrule, Princess Zelda -you still want to accompany me to the castle, right, my dear friend?-

Y/n nodded slowly.

Zelda smiled bitterly, Impa stood between them, extending her arms -I won't let you go! No way! The king would not have wished that!- she exclaimed -We will find some way, anything, don't do it- she begged with a trembling voice.

The young hylian walked towards her and extended her right hand, the triforce shone slightly before disappearing again -There is still hope, Link was taken to the Shrine of Resurrection and I will do my part- she placed that hand on her chest, feeling the beats of her decided heart -I will contain Ganon so that he no longer hurts anyone else I will put an end to his massacre until the hero wakes up, it is my duty as the princess of Hyrule-

Impa's lips trembled upon hearing that -Zelda... Don't do it- she asked once more, a couple of tears spilled down her cheeks, making her taste the saline substance when they reached her lips -You're my friend- she added later.

Zelda placed her hands on the royal advisor's shoulders -That's why I have to do this, when Link wakes up some time will surely have passed, I need you to guide him, you are the wisest person I know for the task, I ask you not not only as your princess, but as your friend, I want you to prepare everything for his return- she said with confidence.

Impa felt destroyed but still bowed her head -I will, I'll wait as long as it takes...- she barely said -Go to the sheikah village right now to start the preparations, Kakariko must be a safe place- she ordered, gently extending her hand forward.

The royal advisor clenched her teeth for a few moments, feeling her heart squeeze from the farewell, not knowing when or how she would see the young hylian again -Yes...Princess- she looked into her eyes with hers still full of tears -Please, take good care of yourself- Zelda gave her a reassuring look as if she were older than Impa -I promise-

After that farewell, Impa ran away as fast as possible despite her injuries, y/n had his/her/their eyes lost in the horizon until Zelda stood in front of him/her/them and stretched out her hand with a gentle smile, like that day at Faron's ranch when they had barely met.

-Come on, we probably won't take a similar walk in a long time - she told him/her/them, y/n remained expressionless due to his/her/their unnatural state but still something inside him/her/them responded to the warmth of the princess by taking her hand.

They walked towards the castle, and as they did they had to let go of their hands, Zelda or y/n kept each other safe like two candles that glowed in the dark facing the guardians who dared to get in the way.

-I... I would like you to protect the Shrine of Resurrection where Link will be, you were right, he is the most capable knight in the world, thank you for having faith in our friendship, for having faith in me even when I didn't feel it- said the princess -We are the only ones left, the champions perished because of me, my father too, many actually... That's why I need all of us who are left to do our part-

They walked through the destroyed streets, across the square, across the bridge barely holding on to reach the castle, y/n escorted Zelda stealthily until they reached the entrance to the throne room where a particularly dark figure loomed, who had the appearance of a deformed humanoid monster, Ganon.

It was neither man nor beast, only darkness that covered from ceiling to floor the room that once represented the hope of the kingdom, he did not seem to have noticed their presence because he prowled like a sorrowful shadow around the room.

-We're here... You can go back to the others- Zelda walked forward but something gently took her by the hand, she realized it was her friend, the princess looked at the sheikah in the eyes who despite having an expressionless face in that state, he/she/they was shedding tears, several, he/she/they didn't want her to leave.

The princess took him/her/them by the cheeks and spilled a couple just like him/her/them, her hands began to shine with warmth, the wound on y/n's chest was healing until it stopped bleeding completely -I hope you to ...have a long life, my dearest friend- she whispered to him/her/them, as if it were the last thing she would say to the sheikah -I ask you to have a healthy and long life-

She slowly let go of his/her/their face -Go back to Kakariko village, your mortal body needs to recover before fulfilling your duty, I believe in you- she murmured before leaving.

It was the last time they saw each other.

Y/n remained hidden while Zelda instead entered the throne room, the princess was covered by that darkness just as the spirits of light before her, but something had happened and it was that the sky returned to normal in the horizons that went beyond the domain of the castle.

Impa had returned to Rael, they were halfway to Kakariko when y/n appeared behind them, the pair of white-haired sheikah took a defensive position until the bodyguard took three slow steps until his/her/their eyes and hair returned to normal and then fell unconscious in front of them.

___Y/N P.O.V___

Everything was black, I was floating in nothingness and so it was until I opened my eyes, with my body completely still, my heart beating heavily with each breath I took.

"I'm... Alive..."

It was the only thing I could think of, I felt the place where my body was, wool blankets, I couldn't move my hands well, it hurt to breathe, the feeling of an invisible dagger going through my chest was constant.

I tried to move my feet, they took a while to respond, it was as if it had been a long time without mobility. I heard voices, whispers a couple of meters from me, I half-opened my lips.

I wanted to say something, anything, but only a sigh came out.

Even so, that was enough for the people talking near me to shut up.

-I heard something-

- Do you think he's/she's/they's woken up?

-It would be a good thing in the midst of so much bad news-

I knew who was speaking, but at the same time my mind couldn't process their identities, I tried to open my eyes, I couldn't, I felt fear because of the uncertainty, my breath went hard as a cry for help.

Soon I heard footsteps approaching me and a pair of hands rested on my shoulders, a warm touch that relieved my fear for just a few seconds -Calm down, you've been asleep for a long time, calm down- someone whispered.

I could barely frown and formulate a silent "who" in a lips movement.

-It's me, Impa, don't worry, breathe, you're recovering- she said, the sheikah was indicating a rhythm of breathing that helped me relax, I began to experience more sensations throughout my body, split lips, dry mouth even swallowing required a lot of energy.

What happened? What happened? I didn't remember the last few days.

After minutes that seemed like an eternity I was able to open my eyes -Im... pa- I called, my raspy voice felt like a razor cutting my neck, the royal advisor's face was full of scars and her eyes had a watery appearance, she nodded slowly -Yes, yes- her relieved expression changed to a bitter one before she started to cry -Goddesses, you are alive- she said with a completely broken voice, she rested her head on my shoulder, I could feel her warm tears soaking my clothes - You're alive...-

My sight slowly began to focus on what was around me, I was inside a house that was apparently still under... Construction? Reconstruction? A couple of planks covered a half-built wall, the nearly finished roof was covered in worn fabric.

Impa continued to cry uncontrollably on my shoulder, and I was trying to remember the last events before I ended up in that bed.

I had gone down into the tunnels to find the altar, but from there... Nothing.

-You've been asleep for days- she whispered to me after finishing crying, Impa separated from me and wiped the residue of her tears with the back of her hand.

How many days have passed exactly?

-Zelda...- I murmured immediately -Champions- I said later, I wanted to speak as fast as my mind could process what the advisor had said, there was no sight of Zelda and no trace of the champions.

The young woman's face gave way to a gloomy loneliness -First you must recover, you'll know what happened - she told me as she walked away from me -I'll go get something for you to eat- after saying that, Impa left me alone.

I closed my eyes, trying to reformulate what happened, I didn't remember anything, the tunnels, then, I was near central Hyrule, it was raining, and in the midst of the chaos there was a light that tenderly called me "My dearest friend"

Pieces so blurry that they made no sense to me. Had the Fierce Deity awakened without my consent?

Impa's words before leaving echoed in my head, before I knew it I was doing exercises and therapies again to recover my mobility, on my chest there was a new scar that was over the old one that the Link of my time made me.

Days, or weeks or months passed, I did not measure how long it took until I was able to recover, further increasing the unknown of the new wound.

Not even the royal advisor knew how I got the it, Kakariko was almost destroyed, many parts of the village were occupied by rubble, everyone dined together outside the village, the number of people doing vigilance shifts was too many, sometimes the earth rumbled and distant roars were heard that made the skin crawl and children cry in terror.

It was after a while that I had enough energy to leave the house without needing help, I could walk without using something, without leaning on anyone, Impa and Rael were waiting for me at the entrance, they both wore bandages all over their bodies, they had quite pronounced dark circles under their eyes, without any encouragement to smile like all the inhabitants of the town.

-Are you ready? To find out what happened- murmured the royal advisor, I nodded.

Judging by how little I lived in that time being back in the world of the living I knew that we had lost many lives, we lost the war, they did not mention the king or his daughter at any time, much less the champions, my heart was slowly breaking but was not prepared for the final blow.

We had probably lost to Ganon, like in the twilight era, no, this was worse.

We were about to reach the cemetery when I could see Purah and Robbie, that eccentric scientist who once loved me was the first to approach me to hug me tightly, I felt his body shaking just like when Impa saw me wake up.

-Cherry... You're alive- he whispered in my ear with a trembling voice.

Purah joined the hug, we stayed like that for a few moments before separating and walking towards our destination.

As soon as we arrived at the cemetery I could see it with my own eyes, the castle was separated from the rest of the kingdom by huge reddish pillars whose color bounced in the sun, a cloud of malice hung over the construction and a kind of giant creature prowled around, it was like witnessing a nightmare.

I remembered what happened, I stood motionless for a few moments, the champions perished, that meant...

-Revali- I named before falling to my knees at the scene of the kingdom being besieged -Zelda...- I brought my forehead to the grass, naming my fallen comrades, my friends, my new family was gone -Daruk, Mipha, Urbosa, Sebit, Merv, Link, Terrako - as I named them my throat closed, my wound hurt even more.

I failed, I failed, if only I had listened to the king, if only I had killed Astor when I had the chance, if only... It was my fault...

I raised my head in the air, let out a painful moan that was heard throughout the cemetery and probably in the village, I screamed at the sky, I screamed claiming the goddesses their little action in such a cruel fate.

After that I rarely left my bed while recovering, but I couldn't eat or drink without feeling nauseous, another time where I was supposed to die and people just died because of me.

I didn't leave the house under reconstruction, I couldn't move, sometimes I sat or laid down, always looking at a dead spot on the wall without being able to sleep, it was my fault, my blood brought that thing back, Zelda locked herself up herself in the dark and Link probably wouldn't return for many years.

-Cherry, you should eat at least something- murmured Robbie, he was sitting next to me, I was sitting on the bed, with my eyes locked at a rice ball that I had been looking at for half an hour -I shouldn't have been the one alive- I finally commented.

It was something I wanted to say but didn't know how to put it into words until that day.

The scientist passed a hand through my hair, then through my cheek, his touch was soft and gentle, but I turned my face away, it was not Revali's wing, he stopped and took it away -You are alive because there is still a destiny that you must fulfill, and you won't be able to do it if you don't recover- he told me firmly.

-Do you want to know why I fell in love with you?...-

I kept silent, he sighed -You're very loyal, you always look for a way to be a little stronger than the situation but that doesn't stop you from being... kind- I looked at him askance, his cheeks were flushed, his voice softened -I think that... The rito champion was also very attracted to that- he looked me in the eyes, telling me silently that he knew about the relationship between me and that fallen champion -he loved you-

My eyes moistened, I let out an involuntary painful groan -And you loved him- he looked at me, I tighten my lips in an expression of deep suffering -There is no worse pain than to mourn our dead without being able to do something to honor them- he whispered.

I hugged him as I began to cry, for the first time I began to mourn the death of my lover, then I mourned my lost new home, Robbie hugged me, patted my back while emitting a slight "shhhh" to lull me.

It was during that night that I was able to eat at least a little, I looked in the mirror to put on the marks of the fierce deity... My face, a face full of new scars, part of it with burned skin, I had several white strands of hair, it was a mess, I never looked so bad.

I put the painting aside and looked at the house, the sheikah had left me various things, new kodachi, spare clothes, a cape because mine was destroyed during the cataclysm, Rael left me his ocarina, Impa a new pouch.

But when I laid my eyes on the instrument an idea crossed my mind, Astor's voice made a presence inside my head "Did you know that the sheikah even protected a mineral that made you able to manipulate time around it without the need for spells or songs?"

Manipulate time... Maybe if... I unconsciously walked towards the object on a makeshift desk, reached out my hand and grabbed the ocarina tightly before walking out.

Kakariko Village was on a quiet night, the first after so much chaos, everyone lined up to consult matters with Impa who became the new head of the tribe, Rael transcribed everything that happened in books but most of the time he was working on the site's reconstruction.

Purah and Robbie were now stationed in Hateno and Akkala to guard the artifacts, so they would be leaving tomorrow.

According to my memories, I had to protect Link in the Shrine of Resurrection, I walked towards the graveyard where the castle stood in chaos.

Would I really play that song? What if there was a price to pay?

I remembered Zelda, smiling sweetly before entering the throne room to face Ganon, Sebit and Merv giving their lives for me, saying goodbye with Revali.

No matter the price, I brought the ocarina mouthpiece to my lips and began to play the song.

_____BIFURCATION: BAD END_____

Nothing happened, I tried to play it one more time.

Then another.

Then another.

Then another.

I recited over and over the melody that echoed through the cemetery several times until dawn.

I didn't want to take the ocarina away from my mouth, but I still had to -I'm sorry, Zelda, I'm really sorry- I whispered.

-It is their destiny - I heard behind me, it was Impa who approached with a haori that she put on my back to cover me from the cold -They probably have a bigger fate to cover, bigger since Hylia mixed with the Hylians- He patted my back not quite knowing how to react to someone like me, someone who wanted to die for being so useless during Ganon's attack.

I looked at the castle, feeling the wind play gently with my hair -Then, I will do my part-

From that same day, even when I couldn't walk very well, I prepared my things. After having my pouch ready, I said goodbye to Impa, Rael, Purah and Robbie.

I did not take horses, much less any other living being. I soon arrived at the Shrine of Resurrection that was very close to the Temple of Time's ruins.

The first year passed unnoticed, I learned to cut wood, seeing that Link did not wake up I began to make the foundations of a cabin that near the place.

The second year Isha and Nill paid me a visit, they gave me a paraglider with the symbol of the rito tribe, I met their adopted son, a white-feathered rito boy named Asell who was very curious about archery, I told him about the best archer I've ever met: My beloved Revali.

The first decade passed, I was able to build a warm cabin near the Temple of Time and started the trade as a lumberjack to maintain at least a little livelihood, enough to eat only, actually I was prowling near the Shrine of Resurrection, Rael came to visit, he told me that he discovered old riddles that could guide the hero to hidden sanctuaries, Impa has already served 10 years as the head of the Sheikah tribe, ten years since Revali and the others...

Prince Sidon and King Dorrphan sometimes send me letters inviting me to the Zora domain to live which I politely decline.

The second decade, the adopted son of Isha and Nill came to visit me along with his girlfriend, it is rare to see people around, he is already 25 years old, he got so big, he wanted me to tell him more anecdotes about Revali, he became an rito warrior like his father , the castle is still shrouded in darkness, Robbie sometimes sends me letters talking about advances in ancient artifacts.

The third decade, it's getting colder every time, still I can tolerate it and keep cutting down trees, an old man came to the cabin when I finished my shift, it was Sooga, he looked more worn, older than the last time we met, I prepared a little tea, we talk about old times, we remember Sebit, Merv, among others Yiga, he told me he was dying, I started to cry because of that. What would Revali say? My wrinkled, scarred face wet with tears mourning the death of an old enemy.

He promised me he wouldn't tell anyone about Link's location, he drank some homemade alcohol, slept for a couple of hours in my bed and then he left... I didn't see him again, I heard he died on the way to the Yiga hideout.

The fourth decade, it's getting harder and harder to carry the wood but I can still fight the guardians and monsters, my cape is broken, I have to use the paraglider to move long distances.

Sidon keeps sending me letters saying that Vah Rutah is still in the Domain's reservoir, sometimes it creates torrential rains so he must help the Hylian merchants to make their journeys to the domain but nothing serious.

Purah came to visit me, she told me that she discovered a way to squeeze the knowledge of the sheikah stones, then she kept silent, is it because of my prematurely aged face or something else that she mentioned something about prolonging life so that I would continue protecting Link to which I refused, that would require my absence from that place, I could not allow it.

The fifth decade, the castle is still covered in darkness, I no longer remember the face of the champions, nor Revali's... I can no longer remember even his voice, it's still rare to see people pass through these areas of the kingdom, the last fifty years I have sat outside the Shrine looking towards the horizon, Impa has told me to go to Kakariko with her, she does not like that I am alone, but it is a task that Zelda entrusted to me, I don't want to fail my friends.

Sixth decade, master Kohga is still young, when I went to Hateno to sell wood he approached in disguise, saying that he has used a secret technique to stay alive all those years, he told me that he wanted to teach it to me in exchange for being his apprentice and coming back with the Yiga, probably since Sooga died he felt alone in power, I refused, it's as if the people around me look at me with pity.

Seventh decade, Isha and Nill's son, Asell, came to visit with a little rito boy, he introduced me as his grandson, Teba, he asked me to tell him everything I knew about Revali, it was when I talked about the Calamity that I started to cry, pathetic, to cry in front of a child, but he was still very courteous, he promised that he would write to me and that he would come when he grew up.

Rael also came to visit me accompanied by an rito boy with beautiful blue feathers that he introduced as Kass, his student who was holding an accordion bigger than him. I taught him a melody that he kept repeating on his instrument.

Sidon sent me a letter later informing me that he has managed to beat his record climbing the falls of the domain, that he is the best fighting with the trident, he tells me about so many things that the papers in the envelopes he sends me are many, the same thing happened with Robbie, I still kept everything in a small chest under the bed so I can read them on lonely nights.

Eighth decade, I turned 100 Years old, Teba came to visit again, he got so big and even helped me carry the firewood to the cabin, he doesn't know why I live in a place so far away from the world and he even offered me to stay in Rito Village with his family. He said that he was training to be an rito warrior and presumed that he could already shoot at targets holding the bow with his claws. He also told me about a rito girl he liked named Saki, after giving him a couple of tips he left grateful.

Kass came to visit, with an older Rael, he could barely walk but still his student took great care of him, it was a lovely afternoon where we talked about riddles and mysteries that we heard throughout our years, the rito taught me a song that he had mastered from his master, it was so warm and nice.

Ninth decade, Teba got married, Isha and Nill would be proud to have such a mature and kind great-grandson, he returned to have that look he always gave me when he comes to visit me, he didn't like that I was without company, he gave me a warm tunic to protect me from the cold now that I am more vulnerable to the weather.

Kass came to visit to introduce me to his wife, we made tea and he asked me about the champions in general, about Link, Revali, Mipha, Urbosa, Daruk but also about Zelda, I was quite happy to talk about my old friends and even I confided in him that Rael was in love with the princess until the end.

Sidon has tried to come to visit but there is always someone in the zora domain who needs help, he sent a messenger begging me to move to the domain, promising that he would take care of me, but I do not want to be a burden and less knowing that his people need so much of him.

Robbie's wife sent me a letter inviting me to stay in their house at Akkala, that I would share a bed with their son, but I feel like I belong here, I have no excuses anymore.

Ninety-nine years old, I can barely move, it's very hard to get out of bed, the Shrine of Resurrection remains the same, Link hasn't woken up, I feel like he's almost back, hold on a little longer Zelda, my dear friends, I spent a lifetime regretting what happened, wanting to see them again even though I knew they weren't coming back on time.

When I left the Shrine of Resurrection my legs no longer responded, I began to fall forward until someone stopped my fall.

-You've done a good job- I heard, then that strange person started to carry me, I was so weak that I couldn't refuse the action, my eyes couldn't distinguish things as quickly as before, but my eyes and ears must be fooling me now that I was old, I could have sworn it was Rhoam wearing worn clothes, he was carrying me, but he's been dead for almost 100 years...

Still I ventured to call him -King...Rhoam-

The man looked me in the eyes and smiled, I tried to free myself from his grip, stand up and bow to him. How was it possible? Didn't my eyes deceive me? Soon we arrived at my cabin and he laid me on the bed carefully -K-King Rhoam- I called again in astonishment.

-Easy... a hundred years can weigh anyone down- he said between laughs, he brought my old desk chair closer to the bed where he sat, I couldn't move, I breathed slower and slower -I have... to keep protecting Link , I have to help Zelda- I said, regretting having refused the help that Purah and Kohga had offered me about prolonging my life.

Rhoam smiled softly -In life I was very hard on you, I always saw your friendship with my daughter as a threat, but now I know, that you only wanted her to believe in herself- he patted my pillow near my head -You lived so many centuries and yet you stayed to help Link too, but you shouldn't worry now, your part of the job is done, you've done a good task as his guiding soul-

As if I understood perfectly what he meant, my eyes moistened after so many years -It's the only thing I have left- I whispered even though my appearance was older than the king's, he laughed a little and made me feel like I was young again.

-They're waiting for you-

-Revali? - I asked immediately, the king kept silent and shook his head -He will take a little longer, but he would agree for you to rest before you see each other again-

See him again?

-I promise, that you will see each other again, you will see them all again, but not in this life-

I closed my eyes tiredly, a tear slipped down my wrinkled cheek, the cold froze my nose, I could barely swallow -I'm... Very tired- I confessed, a hand passed over my forehead, but it felt like a warm breeze, I realized that I was dying and a dead person was accompanying me, the feeling of drifting towards death was so similar to falling asleep.

-Link...- I whispered.

-I'll take care of guiding him, so that he can save Zelda and both of them can be free at last- he promised me.

Believing in his words, my body had a sensation similar to that of floating in water, I imagined that I was in Tabantha, I remembered the day of confession, the day I hugged Revali, when I danced with him, and as if it were art of magic, I could finally remember his face...

I felt a lot of peace.

Soon everything turned white.

When everything became clearer, Kitta and my father were in front of me, we were in a snowy landscape and this time there was no cage between us like in my dreams.

I couldn't believe my eyes, my father stretched his arms to his sides while he smiled from ear to ear  -Aren't you going to come hug your old man?- he asked.

Everything felt so real -D-Dad- I murmured, my voice sounded so young again, not knowing if it was a dream or not, I started to walk, and when I walked I realized that my body didn't hurt, my breathing was better, so I ran with all my might until I reached them.

I stumbled, I fell in the snow, it was so cold and beautiful, someone took me by the shoulders, Kitta made me stand up again -Come on, our friends are waiting for you- he told me now helping me walk towards my father who caressed my hair -You took a long time, it's a miracle that I didn't get older-

-Dad- I called again, I hugged him with all my strength, I hugged everyone who was there, in that beautiful and snowy landscape that faded between life and death.

It had been nine years since Teba had seen y/n, now that Tulin could fly on his own, the warrior decided that it would be the perfect time to introduce him to the sheikah, and he could ask him/her/them for help or advice about Vah Medoh, who did not leave any warrior. getting closer.

Lately it had been very dangerous to fly, Medoh roamed the region but he had an aura that alerted the warriors that he would do something, Teba rented a horse at the rito ranch to take his son on foot -Who are we going to see dad?- asked little Tulin, Teba smiled softly -We will go with an old friend, he/she/they met your grandfather, also your great-grandfather, and even the rito champion- he told him.

The boy leaned back in front of his chair -Is he/she/they really such an old person?!- he exclaimed -He/She/They is as old as the tribe's elder!- Teba began to laugh out loud -Yes, y/n is many years old, but don't say that kind of thing in front of him/her/them-

But when they arrived, the cabin's door was half-open, Teba became serious, he left the horse nearby -Stay here, I'll go see, okay? - he said softly.

As soon as he entered he could see y/n, lying on the bed with a smile on his/her/their face, at peace, the white-feathered rito felt a lump in his throat, he walked towards the bed, the sheikah had died completely alone, lived alone, died alone, lamenting his/her/their past with no hope for the future, a soul that was not mourned when he/she/they departed, with no one around.

-At least where you are now, you can rest in peace- he murmured.

Teba immediately sent a letter to his friend Kass who was fortunately close to Lanayru, they reported the death to the scientists Purah and Robbie, then to Impa, the head of the Sheikah tribe insisted on taking the body to Kakariko.

There was a small funeral, even though y/n died alone, during the ceremony several familiar faces including Prince Sidon himself, Purah, Robbie, Teba, Kass and Kaneli among others made an appearance to pay their respects.

They were all together for that moment, then they cremated y/n's body and scattered the ashes from the highest part of the Sheikah village.

A year passed, the monsters became more aggressive, the divine beasts grew in their danger but in the Shrine of Life Link had finally awakened and Zelda would finally be free.

A new breath in the wild was given.

Whenever I look at the sky, I felt the urge to cry...

It was winter, and the mist came out of my lips, I had my eyes lost in the horizon, a bark brought me back to reality, I lowered my head to find a large dog that had a very beautiful black coat -Forgive me Ordon, I went back to daydreaming-

Ordon barked happily while frantically wagging his tail, to which I laughed a little -Come on, let's go with Mipha- I ordered as I began to walk, everyone was preparing for the festivities to come, the City of Hyrule Central was always filled with beautiful and colorful decorations that in a certain way excited my inner child.

Suddenly my dog began to run with such force that he let go of the leash, his target was a large goron that was coming out of an apartment complex, as soon as the dog called him in a bark that giant man locked himself back against the door-bars of the place -S-Sit!- he exclaimed.

I ran to be able to hold the dog again -Ordon! Don't be rude! Sit down! - I ordered in a reprimand, he obeyed, sat down and licked his nose apologetically, the goron let out a sigh and then stared at me - Wait, Y/n? - he asked.

The goron, like other species of Hyrule, their features had been mixed with the Hylians, in this case, the goron had a couple of hardened body parts but they were no longer as big as those warriors from the old eras..

In front of me there was Daruk, a professor who taught combat classes at the university, he was always a warm and friendly man who made me laugh -¡Professor Daruk!- I smiled like an idiot as soon as I saw him, I always liked him -I heard you had resigned, I couldn't say goodbye- I added helping him to open the door.

Daruk smiled and scratched his nose, he was a big man -I have opened my own training center with some friends, the old style of goron combat should not disappear after all- he told me, the man looked for something inside the pocket of his coat, then he extended me a card.

I read it right away, the business card said "Mixed Combat Arts Institute: Daruk, goron combat expert"

-This looks great! Does the institute have sheikah techniques too? - I asked to which the goron nodded - It's true! You descend from them, I think so, there is a girl named Impa who is about your age, she is an expert in that type of combat, I will ask her for the data- Daruk told me, then looked at my jacket that had the logo of university and my initials, I was studying sheikah archeology at Central Hyrule University.

-How have you been? I heard you're about to graduate-

-Yes! And I've gone on some expeditions, and- I was going to keep talking until I heard an alarm, it came from my pocket, from my cell phone to be exact. I took it out to turn it off -I-I have to go to work now!- I looked at Daruk and then gave a reverence  -It was a pleasure to see you again, Professor! I'll visit the institute some day! - I said.

Daruk let out a laugh and gave me a very strong slap to my back that took air out of my lungs but at least it didn't knock me to the ground -Don't be so formal! You are part of the family of brothers of the great Daruk! - he exclaimed -I hope you come to visit, I will invite you a piece of meat inspired by the Rockroasts-

I coughed a bit, hit my chest lightly to catch my breath -T-Thank you very much! Come on, Ordon!- we ran towards another direction, Ordon was pretty happy for that, believing that we were playing, while I was praying for not getting punished.

I met at the exit of a bookstore with a red-haired girl, a Zora to be precise, with beautiful red hair, a pair of scales on her cheeks of the same color, she had yellow eyes and her soft lips marked a warm smile when she saw us.

She bent to the ground ready to receive Ordon who ran into her arms filling her face with licks.

-M-Mipha! I'm so s-sorry for being late, Can I give you Ordon for a couple of hours? - I asked, Mipha was an intern at the nearby hospital that I met when she was still studying, she was in charge of treating sunstroke or injuries during an archaeological expedition in the desert of the gerudo region, I remember a lot her pale skin tanned and full of sunscreen, we ended up being good friends after that little adventure.

The zora smiled while caressing Ordon -Ah, you know that if I'm here it's because I can, In exchange, could you take care of my little brother Sidon in return next week?- she asked I nodded -Take care of the cute "Petit prince" ? It would be an honor- I commented -We have a deal-

-Now go, the owner came in five minutes ago- Mipha told me, she took Ordon's leash and in a gesture asked him to follow her -See you at six o'clock in the downtown park so you can go get Ordon- she said, I nodded -I promise to go on time! - it was the only thing I could say as she left

I looked at the glass door, the business had a gold sign that said in fine typo "Library: The Oasis", I swallowed hard and steeled myself to enter, as soon as I stepped inside a hylian boy with blond hair walked away of the cash register, gesturing for silence.

-She's in her office, come, come, I'll tell her you arrived on time- he whispered and took me by the sleeve of my jacket and we went into the employee's lounge, it was a room with five grass green lockers, a long sofa next to a cream-colored tea table, in the corner on long tables there was a coffee maker, a jug of water, it was a fairly comfortable place where we stayed even when our shift ended.

-You saved my life Link- I whispered as I went to my locker and opened the small door, I took off my jacket to put on a service apron with the logo of the bookstore -Why did you take so long? I had to do the inventory of the new books by myself- he said angrily -Well, no one at home could take care of Ordon, besides, I stayed up late doing final projects- I commented looking at myself in the mirror that I put in my small space, there were horrible dark circles under my eyes, I closed the small door in which and let out a yawn that was interrupted by the footsteps of some heels that were heard outside the site.

The boss entered, the scent of her exotic perfume invaded the air, a gerudo who was always well dressed as if she were a celebrity (and for me she was) entered.

-M-Miss Urbosa!- I exclaimed -You're late- she told me crossing her arms arching an eyebrow, Miss Urbosa was a tall and beautiful gerudo, with her long red hair tied in a ponytail, her green eyes scrutinized my soul like this I could hardly see her directly.

I kept silent and pursed my lips -But I heard what happened, you're in final projects, right? - she asked me, I nodded slowly -Yes, and I'm about to be absent again for an expedition, the last one before the thesis- I commented shrugging, Urbosa seemed to meditate what I said -Okay, but you should look for someone to cover your shifts if you can't do them, I remember that Zelda said that she would cover you while you do that those things, you'll make up your hours later-

I looked into her eyes in surprise -R-Really?!- I asked excitedly -I-I mean! Thank you boss! - I corrected myself, I gave a couple of repeated bows in the form of gratitude to which she let out a small laugh -Well, now go attend the cash register, Link was kind enough to wait for you even when his shift was over- She commented pointing to the door that led to the interior of the business.

The bookstore was big, shelves, towers made of books, I walked to the counter that had a desk on the other side with two wooden little chairs and behind it, on display there were the newest titles that came to us

I took my cell phone again to see the start time. I noticed a message, it was from dad saying that Kitta had gone out the weekend with his boyfriend and that he would be having dinner that night with some friends from work. I smiled, that meant video games at home! Full volume until late! A well-deserved break before the end of the semester!

After that I sent a quick message to Zelda, my co-worker and Urbosa's "Niece" (Her favorite employee) .

"Next month I have a three-day expedition to the Tabantha region. Could you cover my shift now that you're on vacation? I promise to bring you something nice!"

After sending the message I received one back almost immediately, she always decorated her texts with flower emoticons, the message said:

"Sure! If you're going there ... Could you bring me a rito scarf? Please! A blue one, or a pink one! They're very warm! I'll pay you when you get back! By the way, dad sends you Greetings and asks if you already ate, remember that this Saturday we will have movie night!"

After laughing a little I put my cell phone away and walked towards the little chair by the counter.

Despite being winter time with celebrations so close, the bookstore was empty. I let out a sigh and started checking the inventory on the computer, none of the books this season caught my attention.

I leaned against the wall and opened the desk drawer to take out a book that I had left there and readed it in idle times like that. It was a romantic novel, after removing the bookmark I resumed my reading.

The book transported me to the steep corridors of a castle, running alongside the protagonists who were about to face the antagonist of the story, but the main character's lover had stopped the march.

Why? I read with more interest.

The lover turned around with the protagonist, telling him/her/them the fear he felt, how much he loved him/her/them, they were slowly getting closer while whispering words of love like a kiss that was probably going to be the last one.

My cheeks heated up and my heart sped up as the characters were about to kiss until.

I heard the small door's bell announcing someone entering, I slammed the book against the desk and covered my face with one hand so that the client would not see my cheeks turned into a couple of tomatoes.

"Breathe, breathe" I gave myself little blows to the face without the newcomer noticing it, once I relaxed and raised my head.

-Welcome to our Library.  How can I help you?- I asked as turning away from the cash register, I walked towards a small pile of new books, there was a tall man who wore a brown leather jacket, blue jeans, he had a long blue hair with white locks tied in a pair of braids, the stranger took a book to check the cover and back, I couldn't see his face because he was turning his back on me, taking a look at the place.

-Yeah, greetings- he murmured still without seeing me - I came looking for something, a gift for a friend- he turned around, his green eyes marked an expression of surprise and he threw the book on the floor as if he had seen a ghost, but he quickly bowed to pick it up -S-Sorry!- he cleared his throat.

I could see that a couple of small indigo feathers emerged between his brown cheeks, it was a rito, he immediately handed me the book -Sorry, I'm a bit tired, I'm sure that's why I threw this thing by accidentand-

For some reason I didn't keep listening to him, there was something in that man that caused a lump in my throat, a... something... ran through my body and that left me speechless.

-Did you hear what I said?- he asked, I shook my head -E-Erh, n-no I'm sorry! Could you tell me what you are looking for? - I asked, completely embarrassed.

He let out a tired sigh -I'm looking for a good romance novel or poetry book, I haven't read new books for a long time so I don't know how outdated I am- he told me scratching the back of his neck.

-We could find something together- I said, my voice trembled strangely after saying the word "together" as if it was something daring. What the hell? We are not in a time of yore to blush for that simple word -Okay- the client answered me without giving me much importance or at least that's what it seemed.

The man was touring the library looking at the books and asking about the current authors, from time to time I had to go back to the cash register to take care of it, from there I answered his questions.

He finally decided on a romantic historical novel that was more or less popular on our bestseller list, while I was charging I asked for protocol -We really appreciate your purchase. Have you found what you are looking for?- I asked looking up at him only to discover that he was staring at me. That made me blush.

-Yeah... erm... Excuse my boldness but, have I... Have I seen you somewhere?-

"I feel the same way" I was going to answer, I opened my mouth slightly but then I closed it, I bit my lower lip to suppress that dumb answer -Well, I've been working part time here for a couple of years, that's probably it- I replied with kindness, the cash register marked the rupees that he had to pay, he looked for his wallet as I put the book in a paper bag.

-That's probably it- he repeated as if pondering to himself, although to be honest if it was that I would have known, I would have remembered the handsome man in front of me without a doubt, he had never entered the bookstore.

After he gave me the money and I gave him his change along with the book, he looked around for a moment -You have... many books here-

That comment was pretty stupid.

I suppressed my desire to smile because of the discomfort that the silliness  of the moment caused me. Even the client seemed to scold himself for having said something so ridiculous, it would have caused me a kind of pity but I nodded slowly -Yes, we have many... Do you want something else? - I asked.

He shook his head -N-No, thanks for the book, goodbye- he said at the end, he went to the door, before going out to the street he looked at me sideways and finally left.

I let out a sigh and looked at the book next to me. I didn't feel like reading anymore, that rito had been so mysterious but at the same time like an open book, if only I knew his name... I closed my eyes, feeling ashamed for not asking him, but that would have been disrespectful of my work etiquette.

I couldn't get it out of my mind, when I saw him I felt like I wanted to cry, to hug him tightly, to caress his cheeks... I shook my head again. This was no time to get lost in those fantasies! I had to keep working.

The day passed uneventfully, with many after-hours customers looking for last-minute books, especially the sensational novels advertised in newspapers or gossip websites.

It was already getting dark, we were about to close and I had tea in my hands feeling the warmth of the paper-glass regulate the temperature of my cold hands, all those hours I thought of that stranger.

-Guess... I won't see him again- I thought while finishing my drink, I threw the glass in the trash ready to continue with my life.

But after saying goodbye to Boss Urbosa, I went to the door so I could flip the sign from "open" to "close" until someone knocked hard on the door, I jumped and cautiously opened it -Sorry, we've closed for tod-

It was that stranger, he was sweating, as if he had run a long distance, that man was still holding the bag with his previous purchase, he straightened up and cleared his throat simulating lack of breath, pretending that he had not run to get here -I-I want to do, er-erh , o-one last purchase, please-

I looked at my cellphone, I was half an hour away from meeting Mipha in the park.

Even so, I let him pass, he took a book without even looking at it while trying to stay close to me -Have you always worked here?- he asked -Part-time, I've been here for a few years- I said again, when we got to the cash register that man gave me the book that he wanted.

-I'll take this one, I noticed I hadn't seen it anywhere- he commented, pretending disinterest.

I took the book in my hands and avoided letting out a laugh -It's... A book for... babies- I told him to which he startled  -R-Reall?-pff I-I know, imma purchase it anyway- the man said if he hadn't made a mistake or made a random choice.

I laughed a little, this time without being able to help it, I shrugged my shoulders somewhat shy -Your wife or husband must be very luck-

-I'm single! It's for, erh, a friend, her, erh, son, he's a baby learning to read- he interrupted me, I smiled almost with satisfaction when I heard that -Okay- without saying anything else, I picked up the book and I gave it to him after he paid.

The rito looked carefully at the book, then lowered it looking me in the eye, heaved a sigh while murmuring a  "How pathetic I am" to the air.

-Honestly, I don't want to sound bold or like a stalker but... I actually wanted to see you, I-I don't want to make you uncomfortable with that comment! If that makes you uncomfortable, I can go! ...- he swallowed, ran a hand through his hair -I-I just wanted to know your name- he told me.

My cheeks warmed up, my heart beat faster with happiness -... M-My name is y/n... And... You don't bother me at all, in fact I think it was very cute...- I replied, he smiled tenderly as if he had expected to hear that name for a long time -It's a very nice name...- he extended his hand that had a pair of claws on the nails typical of his species -My name is Revali-

Revali, it's as if all my life there was a piece of the puzzle that didn't exist until I heard that name, I shook his hand, it was so warm and soft, we separated our hands and he scratched the back of his neck with some shyness  -Now that we have broken the etiquette client-seller... Could I invite you for a coffee? - he asked.

I smiled from ear to ear and nodded -That would be lovely- my alarm sounded indicating that I should almost go for Ordon -Ah! Although I have to pick up my dog, will there be a place that accepts them? - I asked.

He made a gesture with his shoulders -I'll accompany you for your dog, we order the coffee to go and we walk seeing the lights that they have put in the city. What do you say? - He asked with a flirtatious half smile, almost boastful that made me blush, I separated myself from the cash register to approach him -It sounds like a good plan, Revali- I replied while looking into his eyes.

(This is the "bad" ending with a second chance, with a new beginning that neither Revali nor y/n got to experience in the other life, we're finally reaching the different ends. I must way that it has been an honor to write for you, I'm working hard to translate the good ending as fast as possible for you to enjoy, dear readers!)
