Changes for this volume

Considering there's nothing too special that happened in Sudou's case so I decided to cut most of the plot

But... I decide to add a plot involving Torikachi and Manabu anytime soon.

POV: Torikachi

After midterms, I booked an appointment with Chairman Sakayanagi through the leader of Class A itself, Sakayanagi Arisu. The relationship between Professor Ayanokouji and Chairman Sakayanagi will be the main topic I wanted to discuss, and expose the White Room pre-graduation. I heard a notification from Sakayanagi that her father will be able to meet on July 1st. I think that's when Sudou's case with C class starts.

Anyway, that's not my main concern at the moment. The problem will be Kushida. I already know that she has a facade, I want to prevent her from sabotaging the class in the future.

But, I will let it slide for now.

Currently, I am sitting in front of Chairman Sakayanagi, having some tea in his office.

"So what is it that you wanted to talk to me today, Torikachi-kun?" He initiates a conversation.

"I wanted to ask you a personal question," I replied.

"What are your true thoughts about Ayanokouji-sensei's White Room?". I continued, "This will be important for me later on."

"So what Arisu said was true..." he murmured. "Even though we have the same ambitions, I couldn't comprehend Sensei's method of improving Japan in the future. Kids who lived there, if they survived, will be a benefit for our future, they just have an unfortunate beginning."

"Then I will be frank," I replied. "Will you help me shut it down then? The White Room that he built?"

I asked as I show him a few footages of how White Room works, which was confidential. I can see from Chairman's face that he had a lot of questions in mind.

"H-how did you do it?" He asked. "Ayanokouji-sensei won't let any outsiders involve with his works."

"How I obtained it, I will let to your imagination," I replied. "But this is true, this is not edited, this is the painful reality that they've spent in their lives. Suffering, fear, distress."

Even Sakayanagi Arisu looked surprised about the footage I obtained. But they did not pry any further.

"Fufufu." Arisu laughs with her signature smile. "I will gladly help you with the case then."

"If my daughter wanted to do it, and I will lend a hand in this.", said Chairman.

"By the way," I asked. "Why did you accept my application to this school? I don't have any information about previous schools and other stuff for you to accept me."

"If you want to know, I guess I should tell you then," replied Chairman. "The reason I accept you into this school is that your name. Since you don't have the last name, and your high intellect, I still accept you because I think you will be meaningful in the future in this school."

"If that's the case then thank you, Chairman Sakayanagi," I replied.

"No problem, my student."

"I have a quick announcement, Chairman." I switched the topic.

"What is it then?"

"He will be here, at this school, a few days before the winter break for a visit. I want you to expose it to the government a few days before that day comes."

"He?? D-do you mean... Ayanokouji-sensei??" he replied with a stutter.

"Yes. I will send you this footage when the time comes for you to expose it. And since you have the government back you up, he won't be able to against you." I replied.

"Okay then, Torikachi-kun, you may leave now. I need time to sort things up." He said.

"Then I will take my leave then," I replied. "Would you like to accompany me, Sakayanagi Arisu?"

"Fufufu~ I will take up your offer then," she replied with a smile.

POV: Chairman Sakayanagi

Who is this kid? A student who yields such confidential information? I couldn't imagine that place will be shut down so soon thanks to that kid. From the footage he played, those kids were having miserable lives, within sensei's hand. I will need this kid's assistance to shut it down.

*flashback

"Chairman, this new batch of student applications is very unique in a way," said Chabashira-sensei. From what I heard from the teachers, Chabashira is very incompetent, meaning she does not care for class competitions. However, I could see the desperation in her eyes, the most competent teacher to reach class A.

"What is it about sensei?" I asked with curiosity.

"There is one student, who had done well in the entrance exam. No previous education listed, and most importantly, he does not have the last name," she replied.

"How come that student doesn't have a last name," I asked.

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to check it by yourself, Chairman."

She said as she handed me the student card containing his overall ability and interviewee's comments.

"The name is Torikachi... huh," I murmured.

"What do you think Chairman?" Chabashira-sensei asked.

"Despite not having records of education by himself, I will make this an exception and assign him to D-class if you insist," I replied with my honest thoughts, not having previous education does not mean that he's incapable to attend a high school.

"I see. Then I will accept this student with open arms." Chabashira-sensei replied.

"I'm glad that we came to a satisfactory result."

"No worries."

*end of flashback

'I see how it is... this kid is indeed special.' I thought as I'm holding the student's report sheet.

"He's already capable to be in A-class, I see..." I murmured.

With that being said, I should get back to work.

POV: Torikachi

"So, what would you like to talk about while we heading back, Torikachi-kun?" Sakayanagi ask.

"I would like to keep everything as organized as possible." I vaguely answer.

"What do you mean about that?" she asked.

"Your first meeting with him will be right after the sports festival, so be patient until then."

"I will keep it in mind then." she replied. "But it is quite unexpected, to be able to meet him in a place like this, my future will be fulfilled."

"I'm glad that we are sharing the same goal, but not the same method."

"Fufufu~" she laughs with her signature smile. "I will be in the care then, Torikachi-kun."

*time skip to July 2nd

POV: Kiyotaka

"It seems like we couldn't find any witness to save Sudou-kun," complained Kushida, with the three idiots currently in my room.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door, someone wants to have a visit then. I come out to open the door, only to see Horikita's presence in front of my door.

"I've found a witness-..." as Horikita wants to explain, she saw multiple pairs of shoes on the floor, indicating I have visitors.

"I'm leaving." As Horikita said, Kushida starts to intervene.

"Wait! Horikita-san! Would you kindly help us please?"

"I will help just this once since y'all incompetent to know your surroundings," Horikita replied with a cruel mouth of her. "It was Sakura who witnessed it."

"Sakura??" asked Ike, maybe he knows something. "The one sit next to Ken!"

I see, so it was the pink hair girl.

"When Kushida asked everyone about the witness, she's the only one to look down. Only her." continued Horikita. Good observation, Horikita.

"I see, I will give her a call then." said Kushida as she pulls out her phone to call Sakura.

*not responding*

"It seems like Sakura isn't willing to answer the call," said Kushida.

"Damn it!" complained Sudou. "It took so long to find a witness, and now..."

"While Sakura might be the witness, it doesn't mean that you will be safe, Sudou," Horikita said. "It will be best if you prepare for your consequences."

"Tch." A sound of dissatisfaction from Sudou, indicating his actions will not be fixed if he does not decide on a change.

"Then I will be leaving," said Horikita, deciding to end the conversation, she left leaving us behind.

"Then we will be leaving too!" said Ike, probably the time is convenient for me to be alone.

Ike, Yamauchi, Sudou leave after another, with Kushida behind.

"Hey Ayanokouji-kun," said Kushida. "Can we go for a walk at the moment?"

"I don't mind" I replied.

3rd person POV:

It is currently 5:30 PM, witnessing the sunset, two students are walking side by side on the walkways towards the park.

Kushida: "Hey Ayanokouji-kun, what does Horikita means when she said that?"

Kiyotaka: "From the hint from her words, I could tell that having a witness might not guarantee Sudou's safety. If Sakura's testimony, and our reputation as class D, it won't be enough to prove Sudou's innocence."

Kushida: "Care to explain?"

Kiyotaka: "For example, there's a murder case and there are 2 suspects. One is very delicate, hard-working with a high reputation; and one has a record of criminal. Who will be the most likely to be innocent?"

Kushida: "The one with a high reputation."

Kiyotaka: "That might not be the case. However, without proper evidence, we have no choice but use their background information to solve the case."

Kushida: "So, do you mean that Sudou's usual behavior would likely lead to his demise in this case without any proper evidence?"

Kiyotaka: "That would probably be the case at the moment."

Kushida: "Thank you for accompanying me Ayanokouji-kun!"

Kiyotaka: "No problem."

Kushida: "Hey! Do you think that there is a strange type of bond between people who shares their secrets?"

Kiyotaka: "I don't know."

It's been a while. Vol. 2 is here.

I'm happy about this chapter. And I wanted to try 3rd POV since I don't want to repeat too many words, which causes this fanfic a bit long and tiring to read.

Anyway, I want Torikachi to be the vice president in the student council, from Kiyo's recommendation when Manabu invites him into the student council.

Moreover, for y'all, criticizes my story if there's any problem in this fanfic. I wanted to best experience for my readers so comment if you have any problem regarding this fanfic.
