Part 2: Confrontation and Discussion

POV: Kiyotaka

It's the night of my first day at school, currently in my dorm. I guess it's not too bad to be free from "that place" after all since I'm curious to know what the futu-.....

Knock...
Knock knock knock...
Knock...

"Ayanokouji Kiyotaka" a low-toned voice rang.
"Do NOT Open the door." it continues.
...
"Do NOT Worry... I am your ally."
I almost cracked my composure for a few moments.
"What do you want from me? How do you know me?"
I asked, trying to hold all my pieces together.

"I know you."
....
What?

"I know who you are.

Where you from

What you've done

What you will do

I know all..."

...

'Please don't tell me...' I thought I doubt he could say it righ-

"White Room"

*cracked

I lost my composure once again, the second time of the day. I don't know who or how this person knows "that place", seems like I have to play more safely.

"I want to talk. Would you kindly open the door?" he said. It seems like I got cornered now, so I decided to open the door.

*clack

???: Ya-hoo~

POV: Torikachi

"Pardon the intrusion~~," I said politely to "him" as he open the door for me to come in.

"So..." he started to state. "You are the one who wanted to talk to me because I noticed you staring at me on the bus."

Aw man... I thought I could surprise Ayanokouji-kun a bit there. Well, it doesn't matter anymore because I wanted to state everything to him what I know.

"I'm wondering how you know about "place". "That man" couldn't be that careless about such trivial things," he asked me, probably knowing how his "father" operates that place.

"I've never been to "that place" physically, but I have physical evidence," I said to Ayanokouji. "You probably asking why and how could I obtain that, aren't you?"

I said as I play the recordings and voiced documentaries from that place from Author-sama (plot convenience) well... probably from my previous life as much information as possible.

"From your perspective, I already know that you've put yourself in danger, and your parents are also-..."

"You don't need to worry about them since I don't have one at the start." I lied as easily as I breathe.

"I see..."

"Put aside that topic, I want to discuss the main point we having our confrontation at this place."

"I see that you came prepared," Ayanokouji said.

"I wanted to make a contract," I said. "I will help and protect your freedom from "that man" and provide every information you need regarding this school. In exchange, you will consider me as a friend, a genuine one, instead of a mere tool as everyone else."

"What do you mean about that?"

"I know at the moment, you will consider humans as tools. You use things, sacrifice things to live, to win. Am I wrong?" I asked

'I guess I can't lie to this guy anymore can I?' Ayanokouji thought.

"I wanted to ask you a question, and it's urgent" he stated, probably wanted to ask about merit and equality. "Do you believe that society is now equal?"

"I already knew that you would ask this question, knowing you came to this school as one of those reasons to find answers," I stated. "In my opinion, society has never once equal. Contradictions are those that can easily break the balance, merits, value apart. Every individual has their own way of thinking, solving, acting, etc. No matter how mindless a person could be, that's his/her own doing, we won't know. From those statements above, and considering who you are right now, society is simply, not equal, and will never be..." I answered his answer to the fullest.

"However,..." I continued to say. "Equality can be applied to this world if..."

"If...?" he wondered

"If a human can be... inhuman. For example, you, as a Whiteroom Masterpiece, lived there the longest, you probably saw the horrible fate of your batchmates. Am I wrong?"

"If they are weak, they are simply disposed from the society, am I correct?"

"Precisely, but not exactly," I said, exchanging my gazes with him. "Humans tend to be live with greed. From that, conflict occurs. That's the exchange of being human..."

"Including myself. I am, humanely, living in greed. The greed of satisfaction, which currently is, helps you from your burden, which is the Whiteroom." I continued. "And is the reason why I will help you, and the main reason for our discussion at this moment."

"I see. This has been a helpful conversation between you and me," he said as I am genuinely happy. "So regarding the contract..."

"Ah... about that..." I quickly cut him off, wanted to finish this without anyone knowing. "I don't want to brag, but I have a lot of information about this school, regarding S-system, student info, teachers, private points, etc."

"I starting to worry about you stalking me and this school for a while." he said.

"I guess you can put it that way. However, I know everything that will happen during your first year here at least."

"What will happen to me next year?" he asked.

"Probably after your second-year summer." I bluntly stated.

"I see... I still don't believe your words. Can you prove it to me?"

"I see what points you are trying to make. And I'm already prepared for that." I said, making Ayanokouji tilt his head, wondering what he just heard. "Tomorrow there will be a club fair after school, Horikita Suzune, your seatmate, will also be there to see her brother, Horikita Manabu, as known as current student council president, will hire of first-years to join the student council. As a brother, he doesn't seem to care about his sister, considering their relationship is pretty bad, and probably receives a beating after our first month of school."

POV: Kiyotaka

"- our first month of school," he stated. He looks like a person that know-it-all, but this is much more than I expected. And I have no claims that it will be true. Guess I will ask more about this.

"So... what will happen after our first month of school?" I said, hoping that I could have more information about S-system.

"Yeah... about that..." he said with doubts, probably knowing bad things will happen next month. "We received 100k private points (pp) at the start of the month, right? It doesn't seem to be the case at all. There is another currency called class points (cp) and it said for its name, points of the class. Every class has 1000cp at the start, no matter what class it is (A, B, C, or D). CP not just determines your monthly income, it also determines your ranking of the class. And the brag about 100% employment rate of this school only guaranteed for class A. This school offers nothing more for other classes. Simply put, it's a war between classes within years. I even have the correct CP for all classes next month, if you only count our year."

"What is the exact value?" I asked, curiosity has taken over me.

"Class A: 970cp

 Class B: 560cp

 Class C: 490cp

 Class D: 0cp

If we keep things the way they are, our cp will reduce to 0, other classes will not change even if we do anything." He said smoothly as he breathe.

"However..." he continues, right about the time when the clock hit 10 pm. "We should keep things as they are, it will teach them a lesson on their actions."

I'm starting to doubt this person's action, wondering what I will do next.

"About our contract, you can sign in any time you want, but be as soon as possible because I have other plans that might involve those around you too. But do not worry, I will keep your identity hidden as long as you come along with the contract. I will help you because I admire you and sympathize with you. I know you don't need anyone's sympathy, but I will help you regardless. Some people also know about you and "that place" after all." He stated bluntly, not that I mind, but I'm curious.

"Who also knows about my past?" I asked

"Chairman Sakayanagi and Sakayanagi Arisu class 1-A" he said.

"Possibly Koenji in our class too." Well, that's unexpected, he came from a high-level family, probably invested in "that place" after all.

"So, I will bring out the contract..." he said...

POV: Torikachi

"So, I will bring out the contract," along with the voice recorder in my pocket that cost around 3k points. It's quite handy, to be honest.

I handed to Ayanokouji the contract I've made.

         'This contract states as follow:

Torikachi will protect Ayanokouji Kiyotaka from expulsion of Advanced Nurturing High School, along with the elimination of White Room, and provide future information to Kiyotaka Ayanokouji. In exchange, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka will genuinely consider Torikachi, and everyone Ayanokouji Kiyotaka trusts, a friend, and not tools as the time he lives in the White Room.

Moreover, both parties must keep silent on this matter, prevent of appearance of the public, excluding Chairman Sakayanagi.

This contract will be nullified when:

                 1. Torikachi failed to eliminate the White Room when he reach his third year at school.

                 2. Ayanokouji Kiyotaka does not consider Torikachi as a genuine friend, along with who he trusted

                Signature:

                       Torikachi: signed

                       Ayanokouji Kiyotaka:

                 The end of contract.'

"From my perspective, I don't see this has any problem at all" I stated as my hand is holding a voice recorder.

POV: Kiyotaka

This guy... he's more than prepared when it comes to this. I guess it won't hurt for him to protect my freedom, and I could be myself. For some reason, I feel... relief? I genuinely feel more lifted when he decided to offer me a big help. Not that I hate that place, but I guess it's worth it to protect my freedom for a lifetime.

"I guess it won't hurt to try this once-in-a-lifetime event, am I right?" I asked bluntly, knowing what he will answer, but just for insurance, I decided to ask anyway.

"Rest assured Ayanokouji. As a person who knows everything about what will happen in the future, I can guarantee that you will be safe within your first year here. So enjoy to your fullest at this school."

He said as I handed him the contract, along with my signature on the paper.

"I will send you a copy of this, as well as the recording of our conversation for today." He said "And act like you don't know what happened today. It will make my plans easier for helping you within my abilities."

"What do you mean within your abilities?"

"My skills are not important at the moment. But my knowledge about what will happen does," he said. I guess it's confidential to state it out at the moment.

"It's over 10 pm. I guess I will head back to my room now." He said.

"Wait!" I hold his sleeve. "What is your room number?" It's unfair for me for not knowing where his room is, but he knows where my room is.

"Oh, it's next to you my friend! Room 402!" he happily said. From what I can see, I have already in favor of his ideals, as well as his plans. As long as I have my freedom, to feel emotions, then I guess I will be fine with that.

"One more question," I said to him, seeing a smirk flashing on his face. "Will I have a girlfriend in the future?" I asked through curiosity, wanting to know if my school life can be normal as I wanted it to be.

"I'm quite surprised that you asked this question Kiyotaka-kun~. Are you perhaps interested?" he replied with no hesitation, probably expecting this question to come from me. Knowing me this much, I'm not surprised if he knows about this.

"It's not fun anymore if I just said it bluntly now~. But I can give hints throughout the time we spent together in this school."

Such a troublesome person, but I quite enjoy talking with him nonetheless. He does understand me after all.

"I guess I could play along with you for now. Knowing me, I guess you know that I don't have any emotions left, raising from that place." I hope he would reply to this statement. I believe he has an answer.

"I know. That's the main reason why I decide to lend you a hand, making my wish not going to waste any moment since I meet you." He replies. "I know that you've abandoned your emotions just to live in that hellish place. But I'm glad you lived nonetheless, so I can help you, as you will be you, that's all I wanted."

"As a reward for you being honest with yourself today, I will give you your first hint on your future girlfriend in this school." He said dearly, showing a small smile on his face. "Are you ready?"

"I guess I am?" I'm more curious than I have ever been.

"First hint: The person you will trust the most" He vaguely said.

"That's it?" I asked

"That's pretty much it for the time being. Knowing you, you won't trust people so easily." He calmly stated. He knows me a bit too much. Not that I mind anymore because of the contract we made a few moments ago.

"That's a very good statement." I said

"I will head back to my room now," Torikachi said

"I will see you tomorrow then," I replied.

"See you then Kiyotaka-kun! Gud night! And keep doing what you are doing" He grinned.

"Good night, Torikachi."

'I guess I've made a good friend after all.' I thought, hoping my peaceful life will be guaranteed, bouncing on my bed to have a good sleep.

POV: Torikachi

Things are all according to plan. Not only did I lure him from his shadows to me, but I also earned what I genuinely wanted to have in this life. I'm quite surprised about the recordings I've obtained...

*Flashback*

I cooked for myself some instant noodles since I haven't got myself much ingredients yet. I would have to buy it tomorrow then. Memorizing everything sure is difficult though. But I'm glad.

As soon as I touch my pocket...

I found an SD card, possibly use to connect to computers/laptops. Luckily there's a laptop in my room, I decided to check its content.

And it is...

!!!

Oh my... seems like fate wanted to play with me or something. Wanting me to expose this place so early, I don't mind~~

*Flashback ends*

That's how I got the evidence. And I'm glad I did after all. I guess I will contact Chairman Sakayanagi anytime soon in order to discuss this matter.
