No one's POV:

Jungkook gave tae some dry clothes
He changed his clothes in jungkook's bedroom

The apartment was so clean

He went to the living room but jungkook wasn't there

He went to the kitchen
and there he saw him standing making tea
And cooking some food

…

"you know, I missed seeing you standing in the kitchen making food"
"hmmmm" and that was it as an answer from jungkook

"…."

"oh, I guess you are still mad at me"
"doesn't matter"
"no it matters to me"
"I highly doubt that"
"you don't have to be this cold towards me, we are both equally wrong"
"yeah?, and how is that?"
"I was wrong when I broke up with you, and you were wrong when you brought that girl and fucked her, I guess we both wasn't considering each other's feelings"
"that's true, I am sorry for hurting your feelings"
"I am sorry too, I shouldn't have been so selfish"
"that is okay, you had your reasons"
…
"so, are we good now?"
"yeah, you are my friend after all"
"I don't want to be your friend"
"I thought that's what you wanted in the first place"
"yeah"
'it is better than loosing you' tae thought
"go wait for me I the living room"

Tae went there and sat on the couch lost in his thoughts
And that's when jungkook came and noticed that tae was lost in his own thoughts

So he took the chance and just sat in front of him looking at his handsome face

When he was done staring at him he called him

"taehyung"
There was no answer
"taehyung?"
"yeah? When did you come back from the kitchen?"
"just now" off course it was a lie
"here, eat some food and then we can talk so you can go back home"
"but I don't want to"
"you don't want to eat?"
"no not that, I don't want to leave without you"

...

Jungkook didn't say anything
They started eating and when they were done eating
There was silent for some time

But then jungkook broke it when he suddenly said

.
"I can't go; I have to stay here"
"alright, then I guess I'll just stay with you"
"why are you doing this?"
"doing what?"
"do you even know what you really want"

"what is that supposed to mean?"
"first you wanted to be with me, then you broke up with me, and then you tell me you don't want to see me ever again, and then I called you and told you the truth and you didn't believe me, and now you want to stay here with me, I am honestly lost"

"everybody can make wrong decisions and I made one, and now I want to make it right"
"how?"
"I can't stand being away from you, this moving out was driving me crazy"

Jungkook didn't say anything, he has nothing to say
He can't even decide what to do

"jungkook say something please"

"I told you I am not going home; I have to stay here, you'll have to get used to be away from me"
"you are doing all that for your girlfriend, right?"
"that is none of your business tae"
"yeah? And now what?"
"I want to sleep, and you have to rest too"
"what?"
"you heard me, you can go sleep in the guests' room"
"okay, but you have to know something, I am not leaving without you, good night"
And with that he left to sleep in the guests' room

...

Time skip:

They both couldn't sleep even after hours of trying

Then there was a loud noise
It was the thunder's sound

Suddenly jungkook remembered something
"tae is afraid of the thunder" he said to himself
He got up without even thinking and went to tae's room
He opened the door slowly and there he saw him
…
Sitting hugging his legs and his head is hanging low
He is clearly scared

…

He walked towards him
Tae looked at him when he felt his presence
Jungkook was shocked by what he saw
Tae was crying silently
…
Jungkook felt guilty
"oh my god tae I am sorry for leaving you here alone"
There was no answer
He went closer and hugged him tightly
"why didn't you come to my room?"
"I didn't want to disturb you"
"oh tae I am so sorry"

They stared in each other's eyes and they got lost in their own thoughts
Tae's eyes fell to jungkook's lips
He didn't when he started leaning towards him

But he leaned in capturing jungkook's lips between his lips
And he started kissing him

Jungkook was shocked but he didn't push him away
And neither did he kiss back

Tae felt embarrassed from his own actions and started crying
He thought that jungkook had really moved on in the end

"jungkook, I am sorry I didn't know what has gotten into me"

Jungkook didn't say anything but instead

he leaned in and kissed tae's lips
And tae was taken aback by jungkook's sudden behavior but he gladly kissed back
