「THIRTEEN」

In the next few days, Hendery disappeared from school but he reappeared on Thursday, just in time for rehearsals.

"Where's- oh, he finally showed up." "I'm sorry, cap, got held up a bit." the director of the play waved him off, and they watched everyone run through the performance once, and then got everyone to try out their costumes. Hendery got dressed, and the director along with the makeup artists looked at him. "I look like- Rapunzel-" "You look pretty." the director nodded. "Yup, perfect heroine. Change back."

With that, Hendery changed back, and the rest of the week was just him practicing and enjoying his time with Xuxi and Dejun. "I'm surprised the royals haven't-'' before Xuxi could even finish his sentence, Yangyang walked in, and Hendery's face turned expressionless.

"Hendery whatever it is you're doing, if it ruins our wedding you are so fucked do you understand? The vampires need this marriage, and my family is prepared to tear right into you if you back out-" Hendery rolled his eyes. "You know, Yangyang. I won't ever understand why you'd want to marry someone like me who doesn't love you back. I know what I'm doing." "They're watching." the werewolf hissed, and Hendery could only force a smile on his face as Yangyang kissed him right in front of the other two.

"Catch you later, mann." Hendery honestly wanted to punch the younger for calling him that, but kept the smile on his face. "See you later."

Hendery glanced at the other two, sighing as he did so. He had missed school in order to figure out the plan on how to get out of his current situation, and he had formed something of a plan. He straightened up, pulling out the paper invitation in his backpack.

"Right, um- you two are invited.." Lucas took the paper, and grit his teeth, reading it's contents. "I'll be there." he muttered, handing the wedding invitation to Xiaojun. "It's right after our performance?" He asked, staring at the prince, who could only nod. "It's right after my coronation, which you're also invited to... My memories will be wiped after the wedding."

"How are you going to get out of-" Hendery clenched his fist, signalling for Dejun to not say anything else. "My family is watching." he muttered, and then he went back next to the director, discussing the details of the play.

Xiaojun's phone buzzed, and he looked at the message, discovering that it was from Hendery.

"The royals aren't coming to the play, the only person who's involved in this thing and will be there is YangYang. I don't even know why he's going. Put on your best suit for the wedding, I've got a plan." After Dejun read it and showed Lucas, the message was deleted, and Hendery acted like he never even sent such a thing.

The cast went for coffee at Starbucks together, and Hendery had offered to order. The cast had told him what they wanted, but he walked off before Dejun and Lucas could tell him what they wanted. Around 15 minutes later, Hendery came back, carrying a lot of drinks, and slid them across the table to the members.

Xiaojun just sighed, and when he was about to sulk about how he had nothing to drink, Hendery handed over a matcha latte, and he also pulled out a water bottle from his bag. "Snow pear juice, dunno which one you wanted so yeah."

Dejun stared at him, shocked at how Hendery remembered. "How- how did you know what I like?" Hendery froze for a second, and handed Lucas his drink, trembling a little. "I- I don't know, it's like- muscle memory, maybe, it just seemed- natural to order you that and bring you the pear juice-"

Lucas sipped on his coffee, staring at the two as Hendery ransacked his brain. He spent ages at home earlier learning how to make good snow pear juice, and then brought it for Dejun.

"You guys should see Hendery, he looks really good in a dress and female makeup, he honestly looks like a pretty girl whose number I would ask for if I saw on the street!" the director exclaimed, smiling at Hendery. "I know I'm good looking." the vampire teased, brushing his hair back and pretending to do an imaginary hair flip.

The prince sipped on his oolong milk tea, while Lucas ended up choking on his coffee. "I'm clearly the most good looking here!" Lucas replied, acting insulted. Dejun choked back a laugh, trying not to spit his pear juice out.

The director ended up laughing, along with everyone else playing roles in the play. "As long as we all agree that Dejun is the prettiest, I have no complaints." Everyone went silent for a while, looking at Hendery who had said that, then cracked up even more, the director snorting so much he nearly spilled his drink everywhere.

Xiaojun was blushing like crazy, his face boiling red like a tomato, and Lucas pinched his cheeks. "Look who went crazy with just one compliment." Dejun puffed out his cheeks, and glared at Lucas, who's smirk widened. "Come on, Hendery wasn't lying, you are definitely the prettiest here, I mean, just look at your eyes." Dejun covered his mouth, nearly spitting out his pear juice, and Hendery handed over a handkerchief, unfazed.

"Don't choke." The director grinned, deciding to tease Dejun. "Look who's got two of the most popular boys at school whipped for you~" Xiaojun's face got even redder and he quickly swallowed his drink. "I- They are not!"

"Oh yes we are." Lucas replied, and even Xiaojun's ears turned red. "Hey!" he exclaimed, and hit Lucas's head gently with a book. Lucas hissed in pain and doubled over, mumbling in pain. "It hurts-" Xiaojun panicked, bending down to check on Lucas. "Hey, Xuxi, are you okay? Did I hit you too hard? Xuxi?" Lucas was pressing his hand on the spot Xiaojun hit. "It hurts, Dejun is a meanie!" Hendery stifled a laugh, knowing exactly what Lucas was going to do, and the director's eyes met his, filled with amusement.

"Dejun really is so innocent and so much of a baby sometimes, isn't he." the director whispered, and the vampire nodded. "He is, Jeno. He really is. Oh and, you might not want to tell Jaemin or Renjun that you just said I looked pretty, they'll explode." Jeno's face went pale. "Oh boy-"

Xiaojun was still trying to get Lucas to look up at him, his eyes filled with worry. "Lucas, I am so sorry- um- just look up, okay? I need to make sure you're okay." Lucas hissed in pain again as Xiaojun accidentally touched the back of his head, and Dejun immediately pulled his hand away, apologizing. And Lucas finally looked up, Dejun bending down to look at him, and that's when Lucas spiralled into action.

He leaned upwards, and kissed Dejun's lips, leaving the younger blushing as he realized what just happened. Hendery giggled slightly, not even trying to hide his grin. "You just made the rest of us wheels, I hope you realize that." Jeno muttered, then went back to stabbing his glazed donut, unable to stop smiling either.

Lucas kissed Dejun again, then pulled away, sipping back at his coffee innocently. "HUANG XUXI YOU GIANT MEANIE BEAN!" Hendery chuckled as he watched the two of them run around, Lucas nearly laughing to death but still running faster than Dejun, and the adorable fuming dinosaur chasing after the giant. "Come to think of it, you were the one shocked about me being in a relationship with both Renjun and Jaemin a few weeks ago, and now you're also in a relationship with two people." "I know, Jeno. I know. And-" Hendery immediately scooted further away from Jeno as he saw the two guys storming over. "Hendery why are you-"

Jaemin skipped over, his charming smile terrifying. "Jeno, darling." Renjun walked over as well, an incredibly angry spoon glaring at Hendery, who just went back to his drink. Jeno quickly got up and ran out of the coffee shop, shouting. "DON'T KILL ME I'LL EXPLAIN WHEN WE'RE BACK HOME!"

Hendery chuckled again, looking back at Dejun and Lucas.

"Looks like someone is getting angry makeup sex tonight."
