"How do you take so long to get ready and you're not even looking decent at the end ?"

You hit Taehyung's arm, pouting at his words. He laughed a little before starting the car, ignoring your bad mood.

"You better smile more because you're going to ruin my surprise."

"I don't care. I don't even know what it is."

"It's the fucking point of a surprise !"

And that's how you spent the rest of the drive arguing over this like the children you were, somehow making the time pass faster.

When he eventually parked the car and you looked at where he drove you to, you frowned, wondering what you were doing here.

"Why are we at the airport ?"

He only gave you a little smile before walking away, forcing you to run after him not to lose him.

"Taeeee, answer me !"

"You'll know soon enough, just follow me," he said smiling brightly and you pouted —you hated surprises.

You still ended up following him to the arrival area as you tried to think of all the scenarios possible.

"Let's wait here a little, it shouldn't be long," he said as he stopped, looking at his phone with a smile.

"Please Tae please just tell me already," you begged him for the hundredth time, shaking his arm desperately while he just laughed at you.

"You're five years old I swear, just wait-"

"I don't like to wait, I want to know-" you started whining again when a familiar face behind him caught your attention.

Taehyung followed your eyes and smiled as he waved at the man looking around.

"Jin ?!"

The man looked at you and his face lit up when he recognized you. You didn't think twice and started running towards him as he opened his arms, catching you and holding onto you tightly as soon as you reached him. You snuggled your face in the crook of his neck, enjoying the feeling of having him in your arms.

"Oh my god, it's been so long, I can't believe it," you whispered in his neck as he held you close against him. Suddenly, his shoulders started shaking and you realized he was crying, hiding his face in your hair.

"Jin ? Are you okay ?" you asked, trying to see his face. However, he wouldn't let go of you, holding onto you as if his life depended on it. You let him cry on your shoulder, feeling emotional as well as you realized how much you had missed him.

You had known Jin since you were little as your parents were very good friends. However, after High School he went abroad to study and you hadn't seen him in months even before you went missing, so it really had been long since the last time you got to hug him or just be with him.

"I don't want to let you go anymore," you heard him whisper and you hugged him tighter, feeling the urge to show him you were there and you weren't going to disappear anytime soon.

After a few minutes, he finally got a hold of himself and let go of you just enough to see your face, still holding you in his arms. You slowly wiped the tears on his face, trying to smile as much as you could.

"I- I'm so sorry-" he said, his voice breaking as he looked at you as if you weren't real.

"Sorry for what Jin ? You did nothing wrong," you whispered and he closed his eyes to contain his tears.

"I left you, I wasn't there, I-"

"It wouldn't have changed anything, I promise."

He nodded a little, not fully convinced but ready to listen to your every word. After a few seconds, he slowly moved a strand of hair from your face and you noticed his shaking hand as he touched you carefully. He eventually let go of you but made sure to stay right next to you as if you were going to fade away out of nowhere. It broke your heart to see how hurt and afraid he seemed to be but you didn't say anything, only giving him your best smile.

"Did you like your surprise ?"

Taehyung's voice got you out of your thoughts and you turned towards him, smiling brightly as you hugged him briefly.

"The best surprise you could ever think of."

"We should all go on a trip together," Jimin said, looking at you with hope in his eyes.

You were in your bedroom at your parents' house with Taehyung, Jimin, Jin and Namjoon. Two persons were missing though but you tried not to pay too much attention to this change.

"Us five ?" Namjoon asked and Taehyung looked at you hesitantly.

"If we want to really bring back our High School memories, we should also invite Jungkook-" he started but you cut him off.

"Then we should go with Hoseok as well."

He stared at you, not adding anything but you could clearly see on his face he still hadn't forgiven Hoseok and didn't want to spend time with him. However, he had already understood you wouldn't go on a trip with Jungkook if they didn't let you bring Hoseok along.

"I have a friend who can lend us a pickup truck but I guess he will have to come with us as well. It's perfect for a road trip so if you don't mind..." Namjoon said and everyone nodded, Jimin already getting excited at the idea of organizing a road trip.

"You should ask Sunhi too," Taehyung said and you shook your head before explaining she had obligations at work and would never be able to go on a road trip out of the blue.

"Please, Hoseok, say yes !"

Hoseok looked at you with a smile and you gave him puppy eyes in hope it would make him accept more easily. You had just offered him to go on the road trip with you and he seemed quite reluctant.

"I don't know Y/N... I don't think I'm really welcomed with you guys," he said shyly, scratching his head.

"What do you mean ? It will be just like in High School, you HAVE to come."

"Taehyung still holds a grudge against me because I didn't talk a lot to them after what happened though..."

"It doesn't matter, he doesn't mind you if it makes me happy."

"Do I make you happy ?" he asked with a smile and you smiled back brightly.

"Of course, you've always had."

"Okay, deal. I'll come with you," he finally said after a few seconds and you let out a scream of joy before hugging him tightly.

"We're going to have so much fun, I can't wait !"

"Okay so just to be sure, Hoseok can come ?" Namjoon asked and you nodded with a smile, ignoring Taehyung's stare on you.

"Jungkook also accepted," Taehyung said and you lost your smile. You weren't so happy to spend time with Jungkook after he had been ignoring you because of his girlfriend.

"Okay, so we'll be eight. My friend also accepted, it's perfect. Now we just need to buy everything we'll need," Namjoon said and everyone cheered in response, excitation growing in each of you.
