Description: The members have gathered to play soccer together but the game is soon put to a stop when Mark accidentally hits and knocks out Yuta with the soccer ball.

The members had gathered up for a shoot since it was shooting day for one of their contents today which actually turned out to be soccer this time.

As expected, Yuta was pretty excited to play and he couldn't stop smiling throughout their entire ride to the playing field the company had rented so the members could film there undisturbed.

It was smaller than an actual soccer field but it was still reasonably sized for a proper game.

The filming crew gave the members some instructions for what they were supposed to be doing exactly before everyone got dressed in proper soccer equipment and also had their makeup done.

They were just supposed to split into two teams and play one entire game which the editors were going to be cutting a bit shorter later on.

All of the members had a vague idea how soccer worked but they weren't so sure about all of the rules so Yuta ended up explaining everything to everyone, feeling content when he saw that all of them managed to catch onto it pretty quickly.

"Okay, this is pretty much all the rules. Now we can play, yeah?"

Taeyong chuckled, seeing how excited the Japanese was already. It felt really cute for some reason to see him so passionate about something.

"We just need to decide on the teams and then everything will be ready for us to play, okay? Now, is there anyone who wants to be the team captain? We need one captain for each team."

Everyone hummed as they thought about this. Jaehyun nudged Yuta's side, silently suggesting that he should be one of them to which Yuta replied with a nod.

"Okay then.. I guess I will be one of them. Who will be the other team captain?"

The members looked at each other, taking a few minutes to decide but they ended up struggling to choose someone so Taeyong spoke up again.

"I think Johnny can be the other captain. He is pretty good at sports, plus his physique is great.. so why not?"

Yuta smiled as he looked up at Johnny who just gave him a thumbs up as confirmation.

After a few more minutes of discussing, the members had decided their positions too after which they took their spots on the field and waited for someone from the staff to blow the whistle so they could all start playing.

Only when the members started playing, did they realise how difficult it actually was. They were all managing somehow but it was very hard for them to follow all of the rules which leaded to many of the members receiving yellow cards and also doing penalty kicks.

The only one who hadn't received a yellow card at all was Yuta who knew all the rules better than the back of his hand and it was just naturally easy for him.

That's why the Japanese had decided not to go all out for this game because he just didn't want to make it seem unfair and he also wanted the members to learn how to play without the fear of failing.

He was playing as a midfielder and that was the reason why the Japanese was moving around so much.

He was literally everywhere on the field all the time, trying his best to guide his team well while also scoring a goal after goal.

Everything was going smoothly for his team since the beginning and it was looking like they were going to win.

Yuta had just snatched the ball from Jungwoo and had headed towards the opposite team's gate again, trying his best to avoid everyone who was trying to make him lose the ball while also not playing that hardcore.

He was about to shoot but then Doyoung managed to steal the ball from the Japanese and was now heading towards Yuta's team gate which was being guarded by Jaehyun.

"Ah.. I got distracted.."

Yuta sighed as he immediately started running the opposite way and was just about to steal the ball from Doyoung but he unfortunately passed it to Mark right as the Japanese was about to snatch it away with his foot.

Mark was now very close to the gate so Yuta ran very fast towards it as well, hoping he would be able to stop Mark on time.

The Canadian was just about to shoot before Yuta actually managed to surpass him and reached where Jaehyun was standing.

He got so exhausted from running since the beginning of the game so he had actually stopped running in order to take a quick breather.

"Yuta! Watch out!"

The Japanese was panting so heavily that he couldn't even hear Taeil shouting his name. The elder had tried to warn Yuta that he should move out of the way but it was unfortunately way too late.

Mark had kicked the ball and was heading straight for the gate but since Yuta had stopped to catch his breath for a second, he couldn't even see it coming.

"H-huh?"

Was all Yuta could say before he got knocked out by the ball which crashed right into his face with incredible speed and force, literally causing him to fall on the ground and black out on the spot.

Everyone gasped as they quickly ran to check on him. Mark was feeling absolutely horrible right now for having hit Yuta like this, only imagining how much it probably hurt when the ball made contact with his face.

"Yuta..? Yuta! Oh god.. oh my god, Mark! You made him bleed and pass out! You should've kicked the ball a bit lighter than that!"

Johnny was so upset that he literally deadeyed the younger, indicating that he was very disappointed with him even if Mark literally had no control over his kicks whatsoever and never even intended for this to happen.

"H-huh? Dude! I just hit the ball, trying to score a goal! What else was I supposed to do?! I kicked it before Yuta hyung reached the gate! I never meant for this to happen!"

"Okay, okay, stop it immediately, You two! What is done is done already.. Please don't argue. It's of no use to anyone. I am sure Mark didn't mean it but it unfortunately happened so now we need to take care of this problem.."

Taeyong sighed as he held his face in anxiety. They immediately cancelled the shoot and ended carrying Yuta to the bench so they could take care of him.

His entire face was red, covered in grass and his nose was also bleeding a bit. That ball had hit him quite hard.

"Oh god.. it's all my fault.. I am so dumb. I should've waited a bit before I kicked the ball.."

Mark was now realising how hard he had actually hit Yuta due to the fact that the Japanese was still not being able to gain consciousness.

"I ruined it.. now he is probably going to be mad at me forever.. What if this makes him want to never play soccer again?"

"Mark.. I am sure that nothing has the power to make him give up on his favourite sport.. and I can assure you that he wouldn't be mad at you. He's played soccer for so long and he's probably had things like this happen to him many times in the past.."

Jungwoo tried his best to calm Mark down, seeing how worried he was for Yuta and for their friendship.

The Japanese was unfortunately still not waking up though and it has been like 5 minutes at this point.

The members were very concerned so they ended up carrying him back to their van and going back to the dorms.

Seeing that things weren't getting any better made them realise that they just had to postpone the entire shoot for some other time.

When they finally arrived, they carried Yuta inside and to his room in which all of them decided to stay for until he wakes up.

"Cmon hyung.. why is he still not up..? Agh.. this really is the worst soccer game we've ever played.."

Doyoung shook his head in disappointment after which he went to the bathroom to take the medkit so they could take care of Yuta properly.

When he came back he helped with treating the wounds and also sticking some little bandages on the scratches the Japanese had on his forehead and on his knees.

Mark was still going through so much anxiety, feeling like he was the absolute worst friend in the entire world for doing this to Yuta, basically ruining everyone's day and making it so they have to reshoot the entire game again.

How were they even supposed to film this again when Yuta was probably going to need some time before he could get back on the field?

It was definitely not advisable to let him play any time soon, seeing how much time it was taking him to actually wake up. It was starting to get concerning at this point.

It's been 15 minutes now.

20..

25...

30....

What if he was never going to wake up?

35.....

He moved.

Yuta finally showed a sign of consciousness, moving his fingers on his left hand very slightly but enough so the members could notice it.

After another 3 minutes, the big boba eyes finally opened up as they scanned around the room and then landed on the members who were looking absolutely miserable.

"Y-Yuta.. Yuta!! You are finally back!"

Taeyong cheered happily as he also wiped his eyes very quickly, not wanting anyone to see that he was on the verge of crying due to all of the stress.

The Japanese was feeling so lost right now and was still a bit dizzy. His vision was hazy and his head hurt an awful lot.

How did he even get here?

"W-where am I? I-is this my room? Weren't we playing soccer a minute a-ago? Let's go b-back-"

Yuta began getting up but the members immediately stopped him and made him lie down once again, leaving the long haired boy even more confused.

"H-huh? Why not.. ahh.. why is everything so blurry and distorted? Maybe I need to change my contact lenses again.."

"Hyung.. you blacked out.. so we had to take you back to the dorms in order to take care of you. We couldn't continue filming because you were just not waking up at all.. so we actually decided on postponing the shoot for some other time."

Haechan had explained everything to Yuta, making sure he was speaking slowly so it wasn't too overwhelming for the boy who was still struggling to keep his eyes open.

"I blacked out? Oh.. I am really sorry.. I-I don't remember anything before I actually lost consciousness.."

Mark sighed in relief, feeling glad that he didn't get caught but then Jungwoo started talking, basically ruining the younger's temporary happiness.

"Mark accidentally kicked the ball right at your face and that's why you blacked out, hyung. We were shouting for you to move out of the way but the ball was way too fast so it ended hitting you.."

Yuta now actually started remembering everything while the members were telling him about the accident piece by piece.

"Oh.. M-Mark did this..?"

Yuta's eyes now fixated on the Canadian who was looking everywhere but at Yuta, feeling way too guilty to even make eye contact with him.

He couldn't look at him after what he had done today. It just hurt too much to see his hyung's face looking so swollen and covered in bandages.

It hurt even more knowing that he was the reason behind his wounds. Mark was probably never going to be able to forgive himself for doing this.

"He is really sorry, Yuta. I can assure you that it was just an accident.."

Mark felt even worse after hearing Taeil defend him so he finally bursted into tears as he immediately hid his face with his hands, not wanting to look at anyone anymore.

"I am so sorry! I am s-sorry, Yuta h-hyung! I was just trying t-to score a g-goal but I accidentally k-kicked the ball right at your f-face.. it's all my fault. If-if you're mad then.. I will understand.."

Yuta pouted as he was seeing how hard it was for the younger to accept what had happened earlier. He truly felt horrible.

It was going to be difficult for the Japanese to feel mad at him because he's had so many accidents like this in the past when he was still an active soccer player that he had actually grown to accept that they were just inevitable.

"Mark.. I am.. I am not mad at you. Why would I be mad? Do you know how many times I-I've been hit or had hit someone else while playing in the past? It's totally normal.. I can't be upset at you over a simple mistake.."

"Yes hyung but-but I thought that.. that I really hurt you because you weren't waking up for such a long time. I was so worried.. so worried that I've damaged something on your body that was causing you to stay unconscious."

Yuta actually didn't remember how long he was unconscious for at all so he had no idea if it was a lot or not.

However, seeing how Mark reacted and seeing how concerned the other members were could only mean that he was probably down for a very long time.

"No I uhh.. I've always struggled like this after accidents.. I couldn't wake up for two hours when I got hit last time.. I was like 13 but I remember that I was unconscious for such a long time that my parents had to rush me to the hospital.."

All the members suddenly widened their eyes as they looked back at Yuta who got a bit taken aback from the reaction, expecting them to know that injuries in soccer were very common.

"It's okay.. I was little back then. That's why it took me so long to actually wake up. I also apparently have uhh.. the boy who hit me apparently had hit me on a very specific spot on my head that just made me completely shut off.. it was very scary now that I am remembering about it to be honest."

Jungwoo pouted as he carefully gave Yuta a hug while he was still lying in his bed. The Japanese hugged him back and rested his head on the younger's shoulder, his world still slightly spinning.

"We promise to be more careful from now on, hyung. We really didn't mean for this to happen. Mark was just trying to score a goal because we saw that we were about to lose.."

Doyoung explained slowly, trying to also help Yuta recall how the game had gone.

"I totally understand. There really is no problem.. this happens a lot in actual games so I promise I am not mad at all heh.."

Everyone was finally able to smile and relax after hearing that but unfortunately, their happiness didn't last that long.

The Japanese was also happy and smiling until he started feeling dizzy again, his head falling back to the pillow.

"Mmmm.."

Everyone immediately freaked out as Taeyong carefully held Yuta's face with his hands and observed him.

His eyes looked very red and he was also kind of struggling with breathing. Yuta was still not a 100% okay.

"Yuta.. I think you should sleep now. You need to rest in order to feel better, okay?"

Taeyong never failed to baby everyone but he was just way too worried for his friend and didn't even realise how he sounded like at times.

"It's fine, hyung.. I will be okay. Don't worry too much, okay? You-you already have enough things to worry about and I don't want to be one of them.."

"Yuta, you already are one of them. I worry for You all because we are a team and if one of us is not doing well it's everyone's task to try our best and make him feel better.."

"I-I get that.. I just don't want you to worry about me so much o-okay? I am old enough. I can manage on my own heh.."

"Okay then.. I promise that I will stop worrying so much but I can't promise that I will completely stop being concerned about you, alright?"

Yuta just replied with a tired smile before his eyes closed and his limbs softened again. He was finally asleep.

"Okay everyone. I guess we should just go rest for a bit and worry about that soccer game some other time. Let's leave Yuta sleep."

The members followed Taeyong's orders and quickly left the room, Mark actually stopping at the doorframe and looking at the Japanese one last time.

"I am sorry again, hyung. I really didn't mean to hit you.. I know you aren't mad at me but.. I can't help but being mad at myself for doing this to you. I promise to be more careful from now on.. now have a nice rest. See you later"

Mark sighed as he ran a hand through his hair, still recalling the horrible scene from earlier. It just couldn't stop replaying in his head.

The younger knew that he didn't mean to hit Yuta but the fact that it actually happened made him feel so horrible.

He could've seriously injured the Japanese and it was all going to be his fault for being so careless.

"I will be better from now on.."

Mark then turned the lights off and looked at sleeping Yuta one more time before leaving for the living room where the others were currently chatting in.

Everyone spent the rest of the day talking about their schedules tomorrow while Yuta just spent it sleeping and dreaming about playing soccer again.

The Japanese was probably never going to be able to dislike soccer, despite the fact that it could often be dangerous, but his love for it was just endless.

There was just something about running down that huge field, the wind blowing at his long hair while he was kicking the little ball with his foot that was just bringing inner peace to his soul.

It was always going to be his favourite activity even if it had turned into more of a hobby now.

Soccer made him happy and Yuta really needed that happiness right now. He needed something that could help him feel free and at ease and soccer was exactly that.

It truly never failed to make him feel like he was flying high.
