Truthfully you were bored...

Not with Tenya exactly

But you felt like something was missing in you guys life

You both had just moved into this big ass house and it was nice and all but when you were there by yourself it was just quiet and boring

Sure you had video games to entertain you and keep you busy while you waited for Iida to get home but as much as you hated to admit it you could only be occupied by those for a certain amount of time nowadays

You would most definitely never admit it to Iida because one day at UA he said that you'd grow out of this "unhealthy and time consuming phase" and you denied it to your core

But now what...

You just felt like something was missing...

So what did you do?

You called Mina of course!

"Heyyy girly!"

"Mina I need help.."

"oooo with whattt!"

"I love Tenya so much and it's not that I'm bored in our marriage...but I feel like something is just missing you catch my drift?"

"Oh for sure girl...have you ever thought about kids?"

You were honestly a bit shocked at her questioning

You had never expected her to say that...

"Maybe I thought about them once or twice but no...I can't do that!Plus Iida would never ever be on board with that idea!"

"Mhmmmm sureee...well it's up to you guys but honestly I think that's a good idea especially considering how you feel"

"Yeah yeah...well imma go make dinner so maybe we'll talk later or you should come over for dinner this weekend.."

"Sounds like a plan bestie"

You sighed and walked to the kitchen

Was a baby a good idea..?

"I'll never know if I don't ask..." you mumbled to yourself as you took some things out of the fridge to make dinner

The big question:

Tenya came through the front door in a good mood

He had caught 3 villains this afternoon and finished all his paperwork before leaving the agency

So overall it was a pretty good day for him

He put his bags down by the door and went to the kitchen to greet you

You were startled by him hugging you from behind

"TENYA!" You shouted

"Yes?" He mumbled into your neck

"You scared me dude" you laughed

"Sorry" he mumbled into your neck again

"What's wrong...did you have a bad day?" You questioned

"The opposite of that actually...it was an amazing day"

"Well you should tell me all about it...come on let's go eat and you can tell me" you said putting the dinner on the plates

Once Iida was finished telling his story you told him how proud of him you were

But he looked concerned

"Is there something on your mind my star?"

"Ohhhh...ummmm I don't know how to tell you"

"Well I'll have an open mind with whatever you need to tell me as a gentleman should" he said kissing your hand

You just had to tell him

He was too sweet

"How do you feel about kids?" You bluntly asked

He dropped his fork on the table

"K-Kids..?"

"Yeah.."

"Are you...pregnant?"

"Oh!No actually!But I was just thinking that maybe we could try..."

"Well only if you're completely ready for that step"

"I feel like it would be a good thing Tenya"

"Well then it's settled!Kids sound like a great idea to me...I mean we have this big house"

"We have this big ass house...and we can't afford a WiFi box out here?!"

"Haha!Not the Kardashians!" He laughed
(Keeping up with the kardashian's is my guilty pleasure)

Finding out:

You woke up to a sick feeling

Not so much that you were gonna throw up but it was just a gross feeling

Tenya came up to wake you up for the fifth and this morning

"(Y/N) it's really time to get up!" He said busting through the bedroom door

"Tenya I think I caught a cold" you said in a sick sounding voice

"Hm...how do you feel exactly?"

"Just uncomfortable and miserable"

"Hm...your sidekick did have that cold last week.."

"Mhm" you mumbled into the pillow

"Stay home my star...I unfortunately have a huge agency meeting and I really can't skip it but when it's done I'll come home to check on you before I go on patrol...sound good?" You nodded with a forced smile

"I'll have Bakugo drop off some soup"

"Sounds good"

Once Tenya left you went to go get in a shower but next thing you knew you had thrown up all in the shower...thank god it wasn't on the floor

You groaned in discomfort when there was a pounding fist on the bathroom door

You assumed it was Bakugo by the way he was knocking

"Come in-.." you were cut off by more vomit going from you to the shower floor

"What the he'll is wrong with you?!" He said coming into the bathroom only to find you throwing up

"I-I caught a stomach bug I think"

"You think?!"

"Ok I did catch a stomach bug!"

"Tch well stop throwing up and the soup is on the counter"

"Psh yeah let me get my stomach in check real quick!Hey stop making me throw up bro!" You said poking your stomach

"Tch you're so stupid!" He said leaving the bathroom

When you got out of the shower you opened the cabinet to get a towel when your eyes caught the pregnancy tests in there

"Maybe I'm..." you mumbled while grabbing the test

You then felt the sudden urge to pee really bad

"Ok I guess that's a sign to do it" you said running over to the toilet

You took the test and set up a timer in your phone

When it went off you hesitantly grabbed the test and flipped it over

Pregnant

Was written out as clear as day

"Holy fuck..."

There was no way it was incorrect

Iida had bought only the most expensive and accurate pregnancy tests so you believed it obviously

"Holy shit I'm...I'm pregnant" you whispered while putting your hands on your stomach

A smile formed on your lips

Now all you had to do was tell Tenya

Telling him:

You got the present all wrapped up for him and now all you needed was him to come home and open it

You heard the front door open and you ran down the stairs

He wouldn't believe you but you were feeling so much better then this morning

Damn hormones...

"TENYA!I NEED TO GIVE YOU THIS!" You said waving the present in his face

"You need to be laying down!" He said scooping you up and taking you back upstairs

"But the present...."

"I'll open it if you promise to lay down"

"Ok ok I will!" You said with pure excitement

Once he got you all tucked in you handed him the box with a grin

He opened it and pulled out a onesie with lions on it

And some little socks to match

And finally the position pregnancy test

His face was priceless

He was shocked to say the least

"Are you...are you p-pregnant?!"

"Yeah!"

"Oh my goodness!I-I don't know what t-to say" he said wiping the tears from his eyes

"Awe babe don't cry" you said pulling him into a hug

He continued to cry from joy as he hugged you back tightly

"I'm so happy" he said
