You stood silently, staring at Sehun's corpse. You couldn't shake his words from your head.

"My... cousin.... his father... my father.... take him... Seoul private hospital.... he wants to see him..."

"Jungkook?" You wondered aloud. "What does he have to do with...." You trailed off, the dots slowly connecting. 

You began to realise the dreadful reality of the situation. Jungkook was... Sehun's cousin?

Is that what he meant? 

But how is that possible? Jungkook's father - his blood-father - was a Jeon, so he couldn't-

Wait. 

A Jeon. 

Jungkook's father was a Jeon.

If Jungkook's father was a Jeon, and he was Sehun's cousin... it could only mean...

Jungkook's father was Jeon Hyungmin. 

The Jeon Hyungmin. The same Jeon Hyungmin that ruined your life, killed your parents, destroyed Taehyung, and raised the killer of your beloved nanny.

Your eyes widened, tears threatening to fall.

Does that mean Jungkook knew about this all along?

You gripped your hair, shaking your head wildly, in denial.

No, no, no. He couldn't have. Jungkook doesn't even have contact with his blood-father anymore. He hasn't for a long time. 

Jungkook's mother wouldn't have let him know about that, surely. She-

What was her name again?

You didn't even know. But you knew she divorced his father when Jungkook was little.

Yeah, that makes sense, right? Maybe she left him because he was a mafia...

But then she married a drunkard, an abuser. She threw the broken Jeon family back into another mess, equally as bad as before. 

Jungkook's dad... he's related to Sehun... does that mean Sehun is actually Jeon Hyungmin's nephew?

That, also, would make sense. Sehun's surname was Oh, not Jeon. And Jungkook...

Jungkook was Jeon Hyungmin's son, not Sehun.

You took a few deep breaths, deep in thought. You couldn't believe this was actually happening.

Your mind drifted to Jungkook's words, and the things he had told you that day under the willow tree.

 "Eomma regretted leaving appa after the divorce, but then appa was killed suddenly and she had to stay with my step-dad."

Jungkook's father had been 'killed suddenly'. That meant Jungkook didn't know he was alive. Maybe his mother didn't know her ex-husband was still alive, either, or perhaps she did know and just didn't tell him. 

"I m-miss a-appa so much, noona... he was a good man..." 

You closed your eyes, roughly dropping into a sitting position, feeling both defeated and torn. You only had two choices for what you would do next.

You knew what you had to do, though you really didn't want to do it. 

You couldn't be selfish... no, you wouldn't be selfish this time. You wouldn't, not ever again.

You'd had your revenge.

And Jungkook? 

You knew he lived in torment everyday for what he believed he'd done to his family. 

He deserved some closure. 

So, you decided you'd take him to see his father one more time. 

Then, I'll have to help him find his mother.

In the midst of everything that had happened, you had forgotten your promise of finding Jungkook's mother. That would be the last thing you would aim to do as Blackrose: restore Jungkook's family.

Hearing soft footsteps behind you, you slowly brought your head out from your hands, facing a concerned Taehyung. 

"What happened? Are you okay?" He asked, voice laced with worry.

You leant around him, turning to face Blackpink, who remained lined up near the weapon bench. "Remove this corpse from my room and clean up, please. I'm done here," you ordered, not fully present. Then, facing Taehyung, you said quietly, "Yeah, I'm... well, I'll tell you in the car. Let's go to the hospital."

Confused, a frowning Taehyung nodded hesitantly and followed you straight out the door and towards the car, not taking one look back on the dead Sehun. 

Sitting in the driver's seat, you turned to face Taehyung, who was putting on his seatbelt innocently. 

"Tae... Sehun told me that he's Jungkook's cousin," you said bluntly, and Taehyung's head shot up, wide eyed. 

"What...? B-but... how do you know he's telling the truth?" He asked incredulously, obviously sceptical. 

"Because it makes sense." You replied. Seeing his blank face, you elaborated, giving him a brief rundown. "Well, Sehun's 'father' - or uncle, as I now know it - is Jeon Hyungmin. The same guy that caused your accident, raised Sehun, and killed our parents. 'Jeon' isn't Sehun's surname - it's Oh Sehun. 'Jeon' also happens to be Jungkook's surname."

Taehyung thought about your words for a moment, but he wasn't convinced. 

So, you continued. "Jungkook was living with his stepdad and mother, right? His parents divorced when he was little, and shortly after the divorce, his father was 'killed' and they never saw him again. This coincides with when Jeon Hyungmin was 'killed'. But as it turns out, after all this time, he wasn't actually dead. And I have all the reason to believe that this isn't merely a coincidence because Sehun told me where his uncle is being kept. He's dying of cancer, and being kept at Seoul private hospital. And Sehun said that Hyungmin wants to... see Jungkook," you finished quietly. 

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, and silence sat between the two of you for a brief moment. "Okay... so are you going to tell Jungkook about this, then?"

You couldn't tell whether Taehyung was for or against what he was asking, but you answered nonetheless. "Not only am I going to tell him, but I'm going to take him to see his father one last time before he dies."

That piqued Taehyung's interest. "Really? You're going to take him to see his murderous father?" He said it almost sarcastically, as if he couldn't believe his own words.

You sighed. "I've thought about it already, Taehyung. And I decided I will. It's the right thing to do for Jungkook, I think." Taehyung seemed hesitant, so you continued. "Jungkook loved his father, he's told me many times. He misses him dearly, it's the least I can do for him. Besides, we've both taken our revenge already, and he's still going to die..."

Taehyung went to speak, then stopped himself, nodding slowly. "Alright, I suppose you're right. Now, let's go to the hospital. I'm dying to see Yoongi-hyung."
