☆ As long as he's alive, he'll serve DIO, ☆

"Finally!" Polnareff exclaimed. "We've met a normal person in this odd town!"

The woman smiled and nodded. You couldn't help but feel something in your gut telling you to leave, but as soon as everyone else began to follow her you knew you had no choice but to do the same.

The lady was a few paces in front of your group.

"The stand user could be hiding anywhere in this town," Kakyoin spoke quietly. "Keep your guards up."

"This fog makes it even worse," Polnareff complained. "Our enemy could be right next to us and we wouldn't even know."

The lady tapped her cane on the ground twice, gaining your attention and breaking up your conversation.

"Right this way, Master Joestar," she said. "It's right there. If you'd follow me, I'll show you to your rooms."

Wait, did I hear that correctly?

'Master Joestar'?

How did she know?

Polnareff screaming out of excitement tore you from your confusion.

"John Lennon stayed here?! Really?!"

"No," the lady informed him. "I'm just pulling your leg, young man."

No one else seemed to react to the lady's words, so you assumed you misheard her. That was until you saw Jotaro's face. His usual aloof and bothered expression had changed to one of suspicion.

He cut off the woman, who was talking about the dinner menu.

"Hold it, grandma," he insulted. "You called me 'Joestar', didn't you?"

The woman halted her steps, and her body tensed. Behavior of someone who's guilty.

With a small cough, she finally spoke, "Come now, that young man next to you earlier said 'Mr. Joestar' earlier."

Polnareff, the young man the woman was gesturing to, looked confused. Mr. Joestar and Jotaro were very clearly two different people. Did she take you for idiots?

"I said that? I don't remember saying that, but I could be wrong..."

"You did, sir!" The lady convinced Polnareff. "When you've been in this business for as long as I have, you pick up on things like that quickly."

You glared at her skeptically. She caught your eyes and turned away quickly.

Polnareff began trying to woo over the old lady, showering her with compliments, then they both broke out into a fit of laughter. Was he really that dense?

-

The hotel was very dimly lit.

Before walking in you all decided to write down fake names in the guestbook as a precaution.

After Jotaro, the last person to sign, signed the book and closed it, the elderly woman spoke up.

"Now then, let me show you to your rooms."

Your room was in between Polnareff and Jotaro's rooms. Once you looked around, you walked directly to Jotaro's room and knocked on the door.

He opened the door, and upon seeing you on the other side, he opened it wider.

You walked in and he closed it behind you.

Once the door was closed, you crossed your arms.

"I assume we're on the same page, right?" You ask.

"No doubt about it," he responds. "That decrepit woman is a stand user."

"That, and she's an awful liar," you add. "'When you've been in this business for as long as I have", you mocked. He huffed a short-lived laugh in response.

"Now we just have to prove she is," he said. "I think if it were up to either of us, she would have already been lying unconscious on the concrete."

"You're right about that. But, she's incredibly dangerous. She has us all practically cornered at the moment. Now, we're like sitting ducks. Unless she makes a move first, we have to find a way to prove it's her."

He hums.

"It won't be a challenge for either of us."

"Right," you agree. "She already knows I'm suspicious. She hasn't looked me in the eyes since I stared her down outside, which makes me wonder, is she scared of us?"

"It's all as well as possible," Jotaro responds. "The only opponent we haven't left for dead in our path yet was that cowboy."

"God," you sigh. "I should have pushed that bitch off of me and chased after him. I could have put him six feet under with ease, and gotten Muhammad the revenge he deserves."

"As long as he's alive, he'll serve DIO," Jotaro states. "It's only a matter of time before we meet him again."

"You're right," you agree. "We should go see what your grandfather is up to."

"Yeah, and make sure they haven't gotten themselves into deep shit."

With that, the two of you head next door to Mr. Joestar's room. When you arrive, you find Kakyoin already there. He greets you with a smile and wave.

Mr. Joestar turns around to greet you as well.

"Glad you two have made it," he says. "I was just about to use Hermit Purple on this TV."

"Alright," you stand next to the television. "Let's see what we get."

Not even two minutes later, you're readjusting the antennae while Kakyoin hits the TV, trying to get any type of signal.

"It has to be broken," Kakyoin says to Mr. Joestar. "We aren't getting anything."

"If that's the case, I can't use Hermit Purple to discover where the enemy is."

"Maybe that's the reason the TV is broken," you observe. "They don't want you using Hermit Purple to find them."

"What are you implying, Akira?" Mr. Joestar asks.

"Hey," Polnareff walks in. "Is there a bathroom in here? My room doesn't have one."

"No," he replies.

"Maybe they're communal," Kakyoin suggests.

"You're probably right!" Polnareff exclaims. "Thank you!"

"Try not to get attacked while you're shitting again," you tease as he leaves the room.

"He's so carefree," Mr. Joestar says. "I don't get it. A stand user could attack at any moment. We have to be on guard."

The other three of you nodded.

As soon as you did, you felt the aura of another stand user.

"Damn," you say. "Someone just activated a stand, on top of the presence I've felt throughout this entire town. That makes two."

"Let's investigate then," Mr. Joestar instructs. "Be cautious."

The group of four of you leaves the room and heads down towards the lobby.

When you arrive at the top of the stairs, you see Polnareff already standing there.

"Are you alright, Polnareff?" Mr. Joestar asks.

"Akira sensed an aura, so we decided to investigate," Kakyoin tells him.

"I'm fine," Polnareff assures. "I just heard a noise on the way to the john. I'll be in the lobby if you need me."

He finishes walking down the staircase and looks around.

"I don't trust him down there alone," you sigh. "Let's split up. Jotaro and I will accompany him downstairs, and you two can stay up here."

"Alright," Mr. Joestar agrees. "Yell if you need anything."

You give a lazy salute and head down the stairs, Jotaro walking next to you.

"If we were right, and this old lady is a stand user, let's make quick work of her. After all, I feel that, together, you and I are the strongest."

He smirks. "You're right about that. Let's get this over with."
