OFFICE AND NO DINNER

CATHEDRAL'S POV

The alarm kept blaring as I was in the shower and Jason showing no pain to shut that thing up. The blaring had stopped as I came into the room and drying my hair. Jason was not in the bed. I took hair dryer and blow dried my hair.

I sat on the dining table going through the files of the new project which was going to be a cafe. I had to spend most of my working hours on the site rather than in the office, while Jason would head the administration. But today I had a meeting, all that welcoming and discussing the future plans and project.

" Good morning, grey suits you." Jason greeted me.

" Hey, you are like 2 minutes late." I said while handing him a cup of coffee.

" Well you see, You were in the shower and I had to run all the way up to the next room to just take a shower."

" Let us leave or we'll be late on our first day." I said and took my blazer and my bag.

The car ride was silent apart from when the driver introduced himself to us.

" Will you be okay on your own, Wes?"

" Jason, I'll be fine and I am just a floor away from you." Jason would be on the top floor while I would be a level lower it, in the construction. I stepped out as it was my floor and waved at Jason.

I walked to the receptionist and asked for the directions to the meeting room. I entered to find it mostly empty. I sat there drinking my coffee as I saw a familiar face.

" Mr Lewis, good morning sir!" He was one of the oldest employees working with us and I was inspired by our home which he had designed. He had the ability to give cement and bricks a homely touch.

" Cathedral Weston, You have all grown up!" He said.

" Why architecture, I thought you would go for business." He continued.

" I love working with buildings and making them something more than brick and cement."

" You are not here to head, why?" He aked.

" I am here to learn and pursue the thing I am passionate about."

" Well, the rooms filling in, let us start with the meeting."

The meeting was interesting with everyone giving their suggestions and I gave mine, which was taken into consideration. My idea was to make a vintage and a carnival themed cafe suitable for all ages. I went through many ideas and drafts that many of my colleagues had drew. I choose to work as an employee to get to know the work and the best way to head.

" What do you think Miss Weston?" Mr Lewis asked.

" Sir, It is Cathedral and I am considering a couple of ideas of something more old school and homely rather than something that screams rich." I answered looking up the files.

" We will discuss it in the next meeting. You have the time till then to come up with the sketches and here are some documents you have to go through." He said dumping a mountain of files before leaving.

Apparently, I had to go through some files of previous projects and make a report on them tp get an idea of the new project. I would be lying to say that it was not boring but I had to do it.

There were total seven documents of seven previous projects done in last two years. The first three files took me four hours to study and to prepare a full report. The file I was currently reading and taking notes of was of a five star restaurant, which will definitely take me hours to complete. My phone rang and I became alert.

" Hey dad, how are you?" I said looking into the file.

" Good evening Cathy, I am fine, what are you up to?" Good evening? What the hell?  I looked out of my window .And since when does my father call me to wish good evening?

" Dad why did you call?" I asked him directly.

" Darling we are not getting any younger, We want to travel and see the world to continue the trip that we had left."

" So you both are going to spain?" I asked, I had no problem with them going and travelling until they are safe.

" We are going on a world tour, we will come back by the time you come home." What?

" You and mom couldn't tell me that when I was there?" I asked.

" Cathedral it all happened so quickly-"

" Fine, just have security with you." I cut the call.

Why did they not tell me earlier?

" Hey" a voice popped out of nowhere.

A girl, probably in her mid-twenties, blond hair, hour-glass figure and fair complexion peeped through the door of my cabin.

I sense blond and dumb..

" How may I help you?" I put the formal tone ahead.

" Do you know where the elevator for staff might be?" She asked.

" Take a left from the restroom, you will find it." I answered and found her still standing there.

" I am Kiara, Kiara Parker."

" Cathedral." I answered standing up.

" Which department do you work in, Miss Parker?" The boss instincts kick in!

" I don't work here yet, I just came for an interview."

" Okay, I hope you can find your way back." I said looking back to the report I had been preparing.

It was rather interesting than the previous one. I couldn't keep it down. I spent another two hours on that report.

" Okay, I see you like working but that doesn't mean that you don't want to go home."

" Jason, This is really interesting, I could not help myself." I replied.

" Do you want history to repeat itself?" He said sternly. I knew exactly what he was talking about.

" Okay, let me pack my things first." I packed all my things along with the report.

"Let me drive." I whined trying to convince him to let me drive.

" No Cathedral, I love my car as much as I love you." Okay I was officially jealous. I had a competition, a car.

" Alright" I huffed in annoyance.

He drove as I sat silently looking out, the ever busy city of New York. It was good in here, not bad.

I was honestly quite tired today and my eyelids were heavy, I tried to fight their heaviness but I couldn't.  What is it with me and sleeping in the car?

I woke up to the sound of shower running. I went out of the room to get some water as there was none in the room and I was parched. I took a water bottle from the fridge. Dinner was prepared, Jason must have cooked it. I wanted to talk about splitting the duties, when I heard a voice and it scared the hell out of me and I let the water bottle slip out of my hand.

" I am so sorry Mrs Blake I didn't mean to scare you." A woman in a black uniform said as she picked up the bottle.

" I am sorry, I didn't catch your name." I said.

" I am Juliana Everhart, I am the caretaker of this place." She looked to be in her mid-thirties. She had dark hair and dark eyes.

" Hey, I am Cathedral-"

" Blake" She continued.

" Weston, I am not married to Jason" I explained as the blush started creeping up my cheeks from my neck.

" Yet" Another voice spoke. It was Jason, who by the way was looking so hot as the water dripping off his soft light brown hair. His aura making me tipsy already.

" Jason, you didn't tell me-" I said changing the topic.

" Sorry must have slipped my mind." He said as he neared me, havocing my normal breathe already.

" Juliana did you make dinner? Can I call you Juliana?" I asked her.

" Yes, Miss Weston call me anything you would like."

" Alright, Wes, why don't you go and freshen up while Miss Everhart serves us." Jason said as he picked his laptop.

I went directly under the shower and relaxed myself. I cladded in some comfortable sweats and a loose tee, not mine though.

" I see you took my advice." He smirked as he closed his laptop.

" I just love your shirts, they smell of you."

" Hmm, not that I mind but I would like it off." I knew what he was doing. And it was working.

I cleared my throat as I sat down and felt a sudden touch on my inner thigh and it did to me more than the bottle of wine lying in front of me could ever do.

I was high. On his touch. Already.

" I am sorry I was just going for the spoon." He smirked.

" Jason, stop, we might never have this dinner and starve to sleep."

" Or I could just have you." He seduced me as he got up from his seat and stood in front of me.

I was too flushed to speak so suddenly my feet looked so amusing to me! I felt his index finger under my chin as he made me look at him.

" Look at me Wes, Do you see how much I desire you in every way possible?" He whispered.

" How crazy I am for you?"

" How fast my heart beat for you?"

You make me feel the things I never imagined,

Never in my dreams,

Nor in my darkest of the thoughts,

But when I come to light,

I see the desire in your eyes,

Darkening you to want me,

Pulling me into them,

Compelling me to lose myself,

Within those stolen kisses,

Or in the forbidden touch,

Making me fall deeper into the infinity.

I couldn't contain myself and jumped into his arms kissing him madly as we proceeded to the bedroom.

As the dinner lay cold and untouched.
