But I honestly don't know what form you really call Bendy when he's like that...

And since I suck at naming things, I'm just calling him Ink Monster.

To be honest, he's kinda... Hot. Is that bad..?

(Y/N POV)
"Cuphead, the mermaid lady's got your cat..." I muttered to him. He shot up from our cover behind the rocks, eyes wide in worry.

"Ah! JACKPOT!" He threw a rock at the mermaids outstretched hand, allowing Jackpot to leap safely into Cupheads arms. But the mermaid lady screeched and whipped around, looking for the source of the rock. Spotting us, she lunged forward.

"Cuphead you IDIOT!!" I shouted.

I pushed him back as Felix stabbed her hand. She screeched again and backed up, hissing as her snakes withered around on her head. One of the snakes lunged forward and wrapped around Felix. Hearing a whooshing sound from above me, I looked up to see a giant boulder hurtling at the demon fish's head. It hit the side of it with a loud thump, causing the snakes to release Felix. Luckily he was able to safely drop to the ground.

Looking back behind me I saw a panting Bendy. I gave him a smile and a thumbs up. "Good job, Bends!"

I then lept into the fight, swinging my dagger. I managed to make a large deep cut her arm, and she screeched again, advancing toward me.

"Back off you MONSTER!" Mugs yelled. He fired a blue blast at her, and she held her arms up to defend herself. The shot nailed the new gash I made on her arm. Bits of stone began to flake off...

Gross.

"Yeah! Go Mugs!" I cheered. I turned back to Bendy and Boris to see how they were holding up.

"Oh my gosh! Bendy..!" I ran over, seeing my best friend starting to leak ink. I put my arm around him and gave him a side hug. He gave me a weak smile.

"I'll stay with you, don't worry," I said soothingly. "I'm sure the rest can hold up the battle."

(Bendy'S POV)
"I'll stay with you, don't worry," she said soothingly.

'I'm... holding her back.'

"I'm sure the rest can hold up the battle." She added.

'I'm useless to the team. I can't just stand back and watch..! I have to help... I can't let her hurt my brother... My friends... My idol... I can't... I can't let her hurt (Y/N)... I have to protect them all...'

(Y/N POV)
I kept my arm around Bendy as the battle went on.

Suddenly Bendy felt very... Warm. And a dark aura was coming from him. I slowly released my grip from around his shoulders and instead placed them on either side of his face. My right hand got covered in ink.

"Bendy?" I asked worriedly.

I tilted his head up. What I saw made me gasp a little. Bendy's right eye was a black. Completely black. It was wide open, as wide as a saucer. And the whole left side of his face was hidden by the ink I had felt on my right hand, which was still resting against his cheek. I felt Boris's state of shock from here.

"Bendy..! Wha-"

He gently removed my hands from his face, and set them at my sides. Then he sprang into action.

He raced past me towards the fight, nothing more than a blur. Jumping up, he grabbed the mermaids arm as she tried to grab him.

And cracked it clean off. I paled.

Her arm crumbled away, as it happened to turn to stone the moment Bendy grabbed her. She let out a pain and anger filled screech as Bendy landed next Felix, backing up slightly. I carefully walked to the group as they all
stared at him in awe. He kept his face tilted down, staring blankly ahead.

Mugs was the first to speak. "That's... So... COOL! I didn't know you could do this!" He exclaimed excitedly. Then Bendy turned to him.

The brothers noticably stiffened. Mugs, again, was the first to speak. "Gosh. You're kinda spooky-lookin!" Cuphead pushed Mugs behind him.

"B-bendy? Is that really you?" He asked cautiously.

Bendy ruffled his hair. "Aww, look at you down there! I guess that would explain your short temper!" He then burst out laughing. I sighed and walked next to him. He was considerably taller, and I was now about 2 feet shorter than him. Dammit.

"Bendy..." I trailed off. He looked down at me and gave me a smile.

"Don't worry (Y/N). As nice as it is having you shorter than me, this isn't real. Wish it was though..." He wiped the dripping ink from his face on his sleeve.

Me and Cups stared at him in confusion. Cups looked at me and shrugged.

Pushing up his sleeve, Bendy turned back to the demon mermaid. "Sorry guys, I'd love to stay and chat but I gotta show this bitch who's boss." Then ran forward and stood in front of the mermaid, glaring.

"PROFANITY!!" I yelled. He merely looked back at me and smirked.

'Damn...'

I felt my face heated up a bit. I smacked both hands to my cheeks and scowled.

'No time to think about boys! I can't just stand by and watch, I have to help!'

"Cups, throw me at the mermaids face!" I yelled to him.

"What?! Why?"

"Just do it!" I yelled. He sighed, and carefully set Jackpot down. Then he hoisted me over his shoulder as I tried to stay as tense and solid as possible. He placed one hand on my stomach and the other on the small of my back.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Do it!"

He threw me straight to the mermaids face.

I sailed through the air, managing to slash the mermaids eye. She... Swam... Or is it stumbled... Maybe splished? Back, clutching her eye in pain. I landed next to Bendy, trying not to let my knees buckle from impact. Cups threw me WAY higher than I thought, so my landing wasn't smooth. The mermaid screeched at me, clearly livid. The kind of look that said, loud and clear, You'll pay for that.

And I know I was about to.

Her eyes shifted to Bendy, and he growled back at her. She smirked in my direction.

Aw shizzle.

Then lunged for him, one arm gone, cracked stone at the end, and one eye crumbled from a similar cause. His eyes widened in surprise. He stumbled back, clearly not expecting her to charge at him with an open mouth.

"MOVE STUPID!!" I screamed. I lunged at him and shoved him out of the way of the mermaids mouth.

The dumb bitc-mermaid, I mean- ate me. Gosh dammit.

I was surrounded in black. And it smelled.

The air was humid, reeking of fish and salt. I fumbled in the dark for my keychain flashlight in my pocket, pulling it out and flicking it on. It instantly landed on a smaller version of the demon meremaid. Minus the black eyes. She was crying.

"Whoa! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" I asked.

She looked up at me and sniffled. "N-no... Wait! You came from the outside r-right..?"

I nodded at her.

Big fat tears bubbled up in her eyes as she started to whimper.

"P-please tell me you're here to save me... I can't take it in here!" She cried. I smiled softly and sat next to her, hugging her.

"Don't worry, I'll get you out. Just trust me, okay?" I asked quietly. She nodded and hugged me back tightly.

"Thank you..."

I laughed and stood up, carrying her. "No problem!"

She squeaked and held on. I laughed again and carefully set her down closer to the demon mermaids teeth. Pulling out my dagger I took my stance.

"Here goes nothing." I muttered. I ran at the wall of sharp teeth, scratching them and slashing at the gums. Just doing it made my own mouth ache. I felt the demon mermaids throat vibrate, as if she was silently screaming. She was refusing to open her mouth.

Fine then.

I growled and started stabbing the gums, drilling my dagger into them. Tears welled up in my eyes, but I furiously wiped them away.

'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. Just please, open your mouth..!'

As if my prayers had been answered, she finally opened her mouth. I wasted no time in grabbing the small mermaid and jumping out. I landed awkwardly yet again, feeling a sharp stab of pain come from my ankle. I winced and set her down on the ground.

"(Y/N)!"

Turning around I saw Bendy sprinting towards me. Now that he was taller he covered a lot more ground with his longer strides, so before I knew it I was wrapped in a tight hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay! Are you hurt at all?!" He asked worriedly. I hesitantly nodded.

"Just my ankle, but that was my fault. Are you okay? I didn't hurt you when I pushed you did I?" I questioned. He stared at me for a second then burst out laughing.

"You always worry about the silliest things, y'know that? You have an injured ankle, yet you're asking if I'm okay." He laughed. I blushed in embarrassment.

Then he kissed me on the cheek.

"O-oh!" I stuttered in surprise. He laughed again and swept me off my feet, carrying my towards Felix and Boris.

"(Y/N)..! Thank gosh Bendy got you out of there!" Boris exclaimed frantically.

"Boris, I think you should start fixing (Y/N) up," laughed Felix. "Let me go check on the mermaid." He added, rising to his feet.

Boris instantly set to work on bandaging my ankle, talking about how Bendy heroically saved me. I turned to Bendy and pouted.

"I would have eventually gotten out, you know. I was stabbing her gums." I muttered.

He gasped. "And here I was, risking my ass to save you!"

"Profanity, dude," I reminded. "But thanks."

He grinned and nodded. "Anytime."

"All done! You can go talk with Cups and Mugs while I pack this stuff up." Boris finished.

I thanked him and carefully stood up, holding Bendy's arm to steady myself. We both made out way to the brothers, Mugs chatting with the mermaid.

"Hey (Y/N)." Cuphead greeted. I smiled.

"Aye Cups. Anything happen in the 10 minutes I was gone?"

He shrugged. "Not much. Just Bendy going crazy over his devoured girlfriend~" he replied slyly. My face heated up, and I let go of Bendy's arm, pushing up my sleeve.

"You little-"

Bendy grabbed my arms to keep me from falling on my face. "Whoa there, you still have a sprained ankle. Calm down!" He then lifted me up and placed me on his shoulders.

"This is way too high..! You're too tall, Bendy, I'm going fall!" I exclaimed. He just laughed again. He shoulders shook, and I hung onto him for dear life.

"Bendy..!" I yelled warningly. He let out one last chuckle then set my down on my leg. "Fine, there ya go."

Jumping over to Cups on one leg, I smacked his head.

Bendy laughed again and pulled me close to him, wrapping his tail around my injured leg.

"I guess you didn't need my help to do that."
