It didn't take long for Bakugou to decide that he wanted to go out for a walk, he needed some fresh air and get himself prepped for his big battle with Todoroki after all.

He didn't want to wake up his parents in the middle of the night so he decided to go out in secret, of course not without wearing some jogging clothes, it's probably chilling cold outside.

But what Bakugou didn't know, was that both his parents were secretly at the kitchen, watching Bakugou quietly leave the house, the two of them were just at the kitchen to have some water and they definitely didn't expect to see their son sneaking out.

"I bet he's sneaking out to see Shoto." Mitsuki whispered to Masaru, usually she'd come out of the shadows and demand Bakugou to go back to sleep but then she remembered the days when she sneaked out of her own house just to secretly see Masaru and couldn't bring herself to stop him, he just reminded her of how she was back then and couldn't help but let him go.

Masaru just shook his head at his wife's reaction, he always goes through with whatever his wife wanted and respected her choices, so if she chose to let Bakugou out at night, then he'll just go with it, then again, if Bakugou really was sneaking out at night to see Shoto, he wouldn't really mind, he rather liked Todoroki because of his polite and docile behavior and believes that he could potentially calm Bakugou down in desperate situations.

But even then, Masaru still felt worried so he decided to sneak out as well and follow Bakugou just to see if he'll be OK.

"huff, huff"

Bakugou, lightly panted as he jugged for about an hour now, the night light was really appealing to the eye and calmed Bakugou's excitement down, but the thought of battling with Todoroki still remained at his head.

Honestly, now that he thought about it, he felt like he wanted to see Todoroki, not just when Todoroki loses, but his dumb-cold face in general, Bakugou nearly ran straight at a pole at the sudden thought about Todoroki but luckily stopped dead in his tracks.

His face was gradually turning red and his heart started to loudly beat inside his chest and the feeling he was experiencing made him a little woozy and unbalanced, he never felt like this before, it was...

'ANNOYING!'

Bakugou huffed loudly and kicked the pole in front of him out of frustration, he didn't know why he was feeling this but he had this gut-feeling that he wouldn't want to find out. He looked around the street and realized that the beach he agreed to meet Todoroki at was pretty near and he could easily jog there and maybe relax by the sand while listening to the ocean waves before going home.

So he did just that.

He gently sat down at the sand, his feet gently resting at the gentle waves, of course not with his shoes and socks on, the feeling of wet socks just irritates him more than usual and he wanted to calm down.

The sounds of the gentle waves passing by made Bakugou close his eyes and not think about anything at all, it's been quite a long time since he felt this calm and at peace.

He was feeling so calm and oblivious that he didn't hear the quiet crunch of the sand that was gradually getting louder as a Todoroki walked towards Bakugou.

Todoroki didn't expect to see Bakugou already at the beach, he actually couldn't sleep and decided to go at the beach early so he wouldn't be late but even then Bakugou still got here earlier than the beach, he won't lie, he actually feels a little bit defeated.

He quietly sat next to Bakugou but didn't say anything, he just hugged his knees as he watched Bakugou's unusually calm face.

He never really gets to have a chance to properly observe Bakugou's face because the ashy-blonde haired boy would usually be growling or turning away so this was a first for him.

Bakugou's closed eyelashes looked long and a light color like his wild spiky hair, a detail that Todoroki never noticed before, his nose was dainty long and lightly red along with his cheeks, most likely from the cold air and Bakugou's lips...'had they always looked glossy and pink...?' Todoroki thought curiously.

Now that he thought about it, Bakugou's the most...beautiful person he's ever met, coming to that realization, Todoroki's usual narrowed eyes widened in surprise for once, he never thought about anyone as beautiful...

For reasons that Todoroki didn't understand, he felt his cheeks burning up and his heart pounding loudly at his chest, he didn't know what he was feeling and that slightly scared him. He moved a bit farther away from Bakugou hoping that would calm his thumping chest but it really didn't, instead he felt a slight ache at his chest that was even more unbearable.

Finally, Bakugou noticed a presence next to him and reflexively punched but Todoroki was able to block with his arms.

Bakugou looked confusingly at Todoroki, his red cherry like colored eyes glistening in the moonlight, Todoroki would be lying if he said he didn't find them majestic and beautiful.

"What are you doing here?" Bakugou asked dumbfounded, forgetting about the deal the two just made, "I thought we were suppose to spar?" Todoroki answered cooly but the shake in his voice was evident, his heart was still beating loudly, ringing at his ears.

"Oh! It's 3 AM already?" Bakugou asked in surprise and backed away while reaching out for his shoes next to him and wear them, it surprised him that he was able to forget about their duel!

Todoroki wasn't even sure that it was 3 AM, but the look on Bakugou's excited face forced him to just sit still and go with the flow, if fighting him would please him then Todoroki will do so.

It didn't take long before Bakugou already wore his shoes, he stood up and dusted away the sand that potentially got stuck at his bum and faced Todoroki with his arms on his hips showing a courageous and smug grin at his face.

It was unusual for Todoroki to see Bakugou smile like that but he stood up as well, gradually forgetting his loud thumping heart.

Bakugou folded his sleeves up to his shoulder so it would benefit his quirk, it was pretty obvious that he was excited for their battle and it made Todoroki feel somewhat happy.

But then Todoroki remembered that his clothes wasn't resistant to his quirk, he suddenly felt ashamed of himself for not preparing ahead, he wanted to tell Bakugou that he couldn't fight but the glee shining at Bakugou's face made him unable to utter a single word.

Guess he'll have to walk home shirtless...

After a few stretches, the two stood at opposite sides, the sound of the ocean waves made it feel more intense and it made Bakugou feel more powered up.

Without saying a word to each other, both jolted towards each other both using their quirk, but Todoroki's ice quirk blocked Bakugou explosion and made both of them jump back away from each other.

But that didn't stop Bakguou from jumping at Todoroki to use his quirk, this time Todoroki dodged and used his fire quirk at the side and pushed Bakugou further away from the sudden burst of energy.

Todoroki noticed his sleeve burnt up a little and sighed inwardly.

Bakugou was smirking and finally felt some sort of content that Todoroki wasn't kidding when he said he'd go all out on him.

He aimed his hand at Todoroki and used his quirk, making a big and loud explosion that nearly made Todorki fly away, but he was fast and blocked the explosion with a sturdy ice wall that soon crumbled from the impact.

Bakugou took this chance and used the falling ice as a distraction and attacked Todoroki from the front and tackled Todoroki making the two of them fall at the sandy floor,

The two didn't expect this outcome...

Todoroki left side of his clothes was surprisingly missing and showed a few signs of being burnt but it showed of his muscly chest and Bakugou was sitting on top of him by accident with Todoroki's hands resting at his hips, the two stared awkwardly at each other but it was clear that both their faces were turning a bright red.

Bakugou swiftly got away and stood still for a moment, with Todoroki standing up stiffly unsure what happened a while ago.

Bakugou looked at Todoroki's ruined clothes again and had trouble thinking of what to do.

A. Ignore Todoroki's condition and go home

B. Offer to take Todoroki home to give him spare clothes

C. Go with Todoroki to Todoroki's home and leave to go to his own home

While Masaru...who was watching from a far, covered his mouth in shock while looking at the scene, so it really was true that the two of them were dating....
