Chapter 12

After the huge scene in the glass dome that literally attracted the attention of thousands sitting in the canteen, the whole lot of us retreated back to my room. Except for the begleiters, who went back to their rooms under Ayanami's orders.

There was gonna be a whole lot of rumours about today's incident tomorrow morning.

So me, Ayanami, Frau and a still unconscious Arragon were sitting in the living room, awkwardly staring at corners in the room. I glanced all around the room, trying to occupy myself while Arragon's head was on my lap, his green hair spilling onto the floor. He was sleeping like a baby and I smiled at the sight. There was no doubt that he was my brother, I felt an indescribable sense of um well siblinghood?

Ayanami clearly thought otherwise. The look he had on his face while glaring at Arragon was terrifying. Every time I opened my mouth to explain I would lose my voice due to fear.

Well, its up to Arragon to explain this himself. Oh no wait scratch that, they might start another fight.

"Well he sleeps like a log," Frau pointed out.

"Or maybe I punched him too hard."

"Son of a bitch deserves it," Ayanami hissed.

"Hey! First of all-" I began to retort when I felt Arragon shift on my lap. I looked down to see his eyelids fluttering open, greenish eyes peeking out.

"Arragon! Are you okay?" I immediately asked, "I am so sorry about punching you but I had to because you wouldn't stop attacking people."

He laughed and waved it off, sitting upright before giving me a comforting pat on the head. He adjusted himself on the sofa and then realised that both Frau and Ayanami were sitting opposite him.

Before he began to react to their presences, I placed a hand on Arragon's thigh to reassure him, "we just wanna talk okay?"

So I stood up from the sofa, rushing to the kitchen to get the men drinks. It was already nearing 10pm and I was a little tired. Grabbing a huge bottle of some alcohol I found in the fridge, I brought it out with a few glass cups.

The three men, with the exception of Frau who was casually staring out through the huge glass windows, were glaring daggers at each other.

I set the tray of drinks onto the coffee table, "Some alcohol if you guys need to y'know, cool off?"

"Sweet, now maybe I can finally see you get drunk," Frau snickered, earning a hateful glare from both my brother and Ayanami.

I watched as Ayanami grabbed a glass and filled it to the brim with alcohol, a smooth brownish gold liquid, and dunk it down his throat. I was shocked, I had always thought that Ayanami would never ever touch a drop of alcohol in his life.

"Tequila," he mumbled.

My brother, on the other hand, sat calmly, not even glancing at the alcohol. I sat beside him again and watched as Ayanami poured his second glass.

"So, explain," he muttered.

"Okay cool, finally. Um, I was gonna tell you this before but it slipped my mind. So uh, Ayanami meet Arragon, my brother. Arragon, meet Ayanami my uh boyfriend," I muttered, slightly nervous. This was like those family meetings about your life partner.

I watched as Ayanami and Arragon, once again, stare down at each other in horror.

"He's your brother?!" "He's your boyfriend?!"

I laughed awkwardly and Frau cackled at the back. Oh boy, another fight is gonna start.

"Selaena can I talk to you alone for a second?" "Dear sister can I speak with you privately for a while?"

The two men shot glares at each other again.

I stood up, dragging Arragon with me, "my brother first, Ayanami. Frau can fill you in if you want."

"Why does he know and I don't?" Ayanami spat.

I was about to retort when Arragon took a step ahead, "don't speak to my sister like that."

Avoiding another fight, I quickly pulled Arragon into the room. Sighing, I sat down on the bed and he followed.

He patted me on the head like a big brother would and I smiled genuinely. It was nice to have family.

His gaze then turned serious, "I cant believe you date that...man out there. You don't even have a clue of what...How did this even happen? What happened when I was gone?"

Arragon seemed to be holding some information back from me, but I dismissed it.

"He loves me and I love him and he's only gotten paranoid because of um certain things that happened long time ago."

"I do not consent."

"Arragon, brother..."

"And that blonde man has your scythe! Why aren't you the least bit worried about that?"

"That's because I don't know anything about myself!" I said exasperatedly, "Arragon, you said someone erased my memories so you have to tell me everything about the person I was before I lost my memories."

Arragon blinked and he slowly nodded, "I'll tell you everything."

A/N: next chapter will bring in unfamiliar and unheard of characters. Prepareeeeeee
