Taehyung was leaving the kitchen when Jimin approached him unexpectedly

"Hey, Taehyung Can we talk for a minute?"

Taehyung sighed heavily and nodded Jimin was his cousin, they grew up together, they build great memories together so he deserved a minute of attention

They needed to solve that stalemate before it was too late

"We can go to dad's office" Taehyung said coldly and Jimin followed him After they entered the room,Jimin started talking

"Taehyung, I don't want to fight with you to win Jisoo She was my first love, I have a great affection for her and that's why I would like to see her happy" he paused to breath "If her happiness is you, I will accept it But..."

"But what?" Taehyung encouraged him to continue

"I hope you make sure that she will always be well and happy Because if I find out you're just playing with her, I'll tell your parents everything I'm sure aunt Minyoung would have something to say about that" Jimin said nonstop

"Are you threatening me inside my own house?" Taehyung was discredited

"No...I'm warning you" Jimin stated firmly

"You're having the chance of your life Don't waste it Otherwise I will do everything in my power to win Jisoo's heart."

"You're very brave,Jimin" Taehyung pointed

"You're my blood and I respect you, Taehyung That's the reason why I'm giving a step back But don't cross the line You can have money and power, but I have willpower"

"Don't worry about it Jisoo is mine and I take care of what's mine" Taehyung said dryly

"Good...Have a safe journey back home See you around" Jimin left the room right away, leaving a thoughtful Taehyung behind

When Taehyung came out of the office, Jisoo was in the hall

"I was looking for you" she spoke when her eyes found his

"I was solving a problem" he said casually

"Is everything ok?"

"Yes, don't worry" Taehyung looked at her from head to toe "Are you ready to go?"

She nodded and he smirked before he asked."Are you ready for your new life, Princess?"

She swallowed hard

"I already said goodbye to your family I'll wait for you outside" she tried to change the subject

"I'll be right back"

While they were flying over the Atlantic, Taehyung was watching Jisoo typing quickly on her cell phone

"Is there a problem?" he couldn't hold his curiosity

"No... I'm just texting my mom"

"Don't you miss them?" Taehyung realized they never talked about her family

"Everyday" she stated with regret

"How's your father?"

"Last time I spoke to my mother, he had started the treatment"

"Great" Taehyung exhaled heavily "There's a subject I would like to discuss with you"

"I'm all ears"

"I think you should stop working" he stated bluntly

"What?" she left her cell phone on the table and glanced at him unbelieved "You mean stop working with you?"

"No...I mean stop working" he repeated slowly "Look Jisoo, I know it sounds rude, but you have money now You can do anything you want You don't need to work as a secretary"

"But I like my job!" Jisoo defended herself

"Is that your dream job by chance?" Taehyung asked politely She took a few seconds to answer

"I don't know. I've never thought about it”

"Now you have time and money Think about who you would like to be and what you would like to do" he touched her hand and stared at her just to make himself clear "I can make all your dreams come true"

She held her breath and widened her eyes The intensity of that statement hit her hard

"Just dream, Jisoo" he squeezed her hand "Come over here" She didn't understand at first, but when his words started to make sense, she was already standing beside him

Taehyung pulled her by her arms and glued their lips in a slow and gentle kiss He held her neck and bit her lower lip

After a few seconds, Jisoo realized she was already seated on his lap, with one hand running around his broad, muscular back while the other messed up his hair

When they both needed some air, he gently kissed her forehead and she leaned her head against his chest

Both remained with their eyes closed, just enjoying that new sensation of inner peace Taehyung stroked her hair while she made small invisible designs on his arm

"Will our whole year be like this?" Jisoo asked quietly

That was a question Taehyung could not answer
