Skyler and I have been going back and forth to Poni Island to get some things that we needed to stay at Exeggutor Island. It's like we're having our own little camping trip. He's been really helpful when it came to training with Nebby. Everyday Nebby and I would get more better at keeping focus and our sync has improved. Not only have I been training with Nebby, but I also have been catching up on some training for my gym battle and the league.

I still haven't told anyone where I'm at, because I don't want to be surrounded by everyone. I feel kind of guilty for it, but I just need my space right now. Which kind of makes no sense because Skyler is with me but he's good company.

Our friendship has grown over the time of us being here all week. He came out of his awkward phase and is more loud and outgoing with me which I like that he's comfortable with me. I even met his family back on Poni island when he had to go back and help them with some stuff. He didn't want to bother me with it, but since he's helping me I wanted to help him too.

He has two little sisters, who are so adorable and so energetic. They are both around Bonnie's age and they remind me of her so much. His mother was very sweet to me, I helped her out shopping for food and other stuff needed at their house. It was quite a fun experience and she taught me so much about different types of food. His mother told me that she really wants her son to complete his island challenge and then travel to different regions, she also told me that he uses them as an excuse to stay because maybe he's not ready. She wanted me to help him come more out of his shell and get him to leave home.

I told her I would make it a priority to help Skyler see the world for what it is. I wanted him to experience the same adventures I had. To meet a lot of new people and become friends, and meet lots of different types of pokemon. To me he seemed ready, all I had to do was just give him the big push.

Skyler and I were on Exeggutor Island now, and we were having a nice day off with our Pokemon. He challenged me to a surf competition which I was really eager about until he won.

We were eating on the sand watching the Pokemon play. I hear ringing and I look at my bag to see Rotom come out of it and it shows Serena's contact.

I answer it and I see the worry on the gangs faces, which makes my heart clench.

"Hey guys!" I wave.

"You're...um..alright?" Clemont asks looking confused.

"Yeah why wouldn't I be?" I shrug looking at him and he looks at the others.

"Sun told us you went missing and they tried all week to find you and they still haven't, you had us all worried Olivia." Serena says with an upset look on her face and I let out a sigh.

"Well I'm doing just fine. I just needed to get away and handle things on my own." I scoff rolling my eyes, and Skyler laughs from beside me.

"Who's that?" I hear Bonnie ask and I turn the screen to show Skyler who blushes and looks unsure what to do. He waves awkwardly and I laugh.

"This is my new friend Skyler, he was there for me when something bad happened." I say trying to not to tell too much detail so they don't have to worry that I almost died.

"So it's just you two...alone?" Ash asks looking upset and I nod slowly.

"Not alone...the Pokemon are here." Skyler says standing beside me, I wanted to face palm right then and there because he's shirtless and not making this look any better.

"So you don't want to be with your friends, but with a weird stranger you just met?" Ash asks scoffing at the end of his sentence and I just glare at him. I notice Skyler has a hurt look on his face as he looks down and that only gets me more upset. Ash's pathetic jealously is really starting to bug me.

"Actually he's not a weird stranger, he's a great guy and a really strong trainer. He saved me when I almost died from drowning." I spat back and the others look taken back at my outburst.

"I'm fine, you can tell the others I'm fine. No need to worry." I say hanging up. I let out a sigh and rub my face. I feel a hand rest on my shoulder and I look to see Skyler looking at me with sympathy.

"Thank you for having my back like that." He says and I nod.

"Yeah I'm sorry about him...he's just...really..." I stutter out not knowing what to say.

"A really jealous boyfriend?" Skyler teases and I blush at that looking at him with wide eyes and try to deny it but Skyler just laughs.

"Don't try to deny it, I saw the way he looked at you, and the way you looked at him. By the way you acted..I call tell you haven't told anyone yet. It's not hard to tell though, it's true too see the love between you guys." Skyler says and I blush even more at his words and bite down on my lip.....love?

"Its funny you say that, because maybe that's exactly what I am feeling. It's a scary feeling to have because I don't know if he will ever return the feelings of love I feel for him. In Alola they call my best friend and I Sun and Moon....but.." I mumble not being able to get my true feelings and just close my mouth shaking my head.

"You feel that the one you love is more of your Sun than your best friend?" Skyler asks and I nod a little shocked on how he understands things so easily.

"You should be a therapist or something. You understand things so easily." I mumble and he laughs softly.

"It's because, I'm not very popular and I'm always to myself, besides when I'm with my family. I get to really observe everything and really understand. If people just take a step back and look at the whole picture rather than just a small piece of it they will really understand." Skyler says and I look at him in amazement.

"You know, I'm really glad I almost drowned that day....as weird as that sounds, because I wouldn't have met an amazing person like you." I say to Skyler and he blushes a bit and smiles.

"I'm not really used to people complimenting me, and having friends. I'm glad I have you as my friend though Olivia." He says and I smile.

"You're not just my friend....you're part of my family as well." I say and pull him closer hugging him and he freezes a bit and slowly wraps his arms around me hugging me back.

"I think I'm ready to head home. Nebby and I have this thing down pack. So I know he'll be just fine." I say.

"It's going to suck, having you leave. I finally have a new friend and you're leaving." He pouts and I giggle.

"I'll be back soon. Ash is coming to Alola and I have no doubt he's going to want to do the island challenge as well. Since I'm going to be with him, maybe you can come as well. Since you have to finish your island challenge." I tell him and his eyes widen. He takes a step back and he looks like his closed off self again which breaks my heart.

"I have my family...I don't..t-think...I can finish it. I'm f-fine...though, maybe you can just visit." He says and I let out a sigh.

"You and I both know that's not the reason you're saying no. Your family will be just fine without you. Your mother told me why you have been so reluctant to leave. It's because your father just left you guys." I say and his eyes widen, and before he can say anything I lift my hand up to stop him.

"She also told me...that she's just fine. She has learned to deal with it and take care of her responsibilities which is her family. She's moved on and happy, and that's what she wants for you to do as well. Skyler it's time for you to leave home." I tell him and he looks at me with a hurt but thoughtful look.

"I just care about them so much, I don't want anything to happen to them." He mumbles and I bring him in for another hug and he just lets out a shaky breath.

"If something does happen, your family is strong enough to overcome it because they have each other. Plus, you're just one phone call away if they need you." I mumble against his chest and I can feel him nod.

"You're right, it's time for me to go. Take on my own adventures." He says with a wide smile and I giggle.

"It's time." I say thinking about my Kalos family and he nods.

"It's time." He nods.

We had packed up everything we had on Exeggutor island. I went with Skyler to talk to his mom, she was so happy that he had finally accepted the fact that his family was okay, the the should leave and travel the world.

Skyler then joined me to go talk to my friends who were both angry and worried at the same time. After, I had told them everything that had happened they calmed down a little and welcomed me back with open arms. They were still a little upset I didn't get to spend too much time with them and that I was ready to leave. I promised to come back with Ash and spend as much time with everyone as much as I can.

I was so ready to go back to Kalos that I rushed packing everything and even bought my ticket. What surprised me was that Skyler wanted to come with me and travel the rest of Kalos with me. He said he wasn't ready to give up his new friend, which I very much understood and agreed. I don't know how much Ash is going to like the idea, but he's going to have to suck it up because Skyler supports our relationship and even said he's going to join the fan club along with Bonnie.

It was a long and sad goodbye as all my friends and family watch me board the plane with Skyler. Professor KuKui promised to take a nice watchful eye out for Nebby, because he wanted to do his own research with Professor Burnet on the whole Bond Phenomenon. I knew Nebby was in safe hands so I wasn't worried at all. I also got the details all sorted out on where I wanted all the stadiums built for the Alola pokemon showcases. Whenever I become champion I receive a great big check. I never used that money, I just placed it to the side. The only time I used it was to buy an estate like Lillie's for my mom to have as a vacation home to use whenever. Since I have all this money, I used a good amount to begin construction on the stadiums on the showcases.

When I come back to Alola I can start promoting it and get more sponsors in on it. It will be a great surprise to Serena, because I might just be able to get her to come to Alola as well. Since I'm not going it be in Alola for awhile I chose someone to take over as my under study to help out with some more of the business part of all of it. I asked Aria to come to Alola and help me with it. While I'm in Kalos she's communicating with me and updating me on everything that's going on with the progress.

The only people that know about what I'm doing so far is KuKui, Skyler, Aria, and my mother. People are just going to think there new stores that are being built. Once I get back to do the promotion everyone is going to be excited to find out what the construction really is.

Our plane just landed in Snowbelle City and I was excited for the gang to see the somewhat new me. I am a lot tanner than I was before, and a lot more slimmer than before. I feel great about myself, and I just couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces. I hope they like it, I hope they feel no negative way about the way I've changed. Skyler was excited to see a new place and he had so many questions to ask, which I was happy to answer. It reminded when I first left Alola, only I looked more lost than he did.

The others should be at the gym by now getting ready for Ash's gym battle and I couldn't be more excited to see him win. Skyler and I took a taxi to the gym and once I got there I was a little confused to see the gym leader waving at a group of people. I quickly stepped out the car to notice it was the others leaving the gym, but that couldn't be? They couldn't have finished already? It was supposed to be today.

"Guys?" I call out to them and I see them turn around. Skyler steps out the car after paying the taxi and stands beside me.

"Olivia?" Bonnie asks and I nod waving slightly with a frown still on my face. Did they plan to just leave without me evening knowing?

"You're finally here." Serena says and I look at her confused.

"Yeah, I said I would make it to the gym battle and that's exactly what I did.I'm here, and you guys are leaving?" I say and let out a sarcastic laugh.

"So you weren't planning on telling me that you're leaving." I say sarcastically and Ash gives me a harsh glare stepping towards me.

"We left a note." He says crossing his arms and I bite my lip giving an even harsher glare towards him.

"Don't do that, that's not the same thing. I left because my Pokemon was in life or death type of danger. Not because I had hurt feelings, and plotted revenge like a child. Any trainer would have left to help out their Pokemon." I say back at him and his eyes widen. His expression softens and he looks away. He then winces touching his chest a bit.

"You promised to be here for my gym battle and you weren't. You were busy with pretty boy." He says stealing a glance at Skyler who shrinks a little behind me and I scoff.

"I was training and he was there to help. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be alive today." I shout at him and my heart pangs with hurt, not emotionally but physical hurt and I wince a bit.

"Don't get mad at her, for hanging with a friend when you did more damage than she did." Bonnie speaks up from behind Ash and I looked at her confused. Ash just looks at her a little taken back and Serena takes a step away from the group.

From everyone's body language, I can tell exactly what happened. Something that I didn't approve of, and I know my heart will only break more.

"What does she mean by that." I mumble over towards Ash who laughs nervously and tries to change the subject which makes me more upset.

"Tell me!" I shout. He just sighs and looks down sadly and my fists clench and my body physically starts to hurt but I ignore it as I glare at the raven-hair kid.

"I...um...I...it doesn't matter." He says and I scoff.

"It does if you're too afraid to tell me Ash ketchum." I snarl.

"Ash kissed Serena." Bonnie speaks up and I gasp. I look at Ash who looks at the ground, then I look to Serena who looks confused.

"You kissed her?" I mumble.

"I didn't mean too...I swear it didn't mean anything to me. Olivia you have to believe me!" He pleads trying to take a step towards me but Skyler steps in front of me protectively glaring towards Ash.

Ash goes to push Skyler, but I think he realizes that will only make things worse so he takes a step back and he just looks at me with so much pain and regret that I have to hide my face behind Skyler.

"If you really loved her like I thought you did, you wouldn't have did that to her." Skyler says sounding really brave which makes me smile. I'm proud of him.

"You don't know anyting." Ash growls through gritted teeth, looking both hot and scary and I blush because only I would think he looks hot at a time like this.

Skyler doesn't stand down as he only laughs. "I actually know everything, after Olivia found out that I knew you two were together, she wouldn't stop talking about you. I know more about you than I would like to admit. I had to remind her to focus on training, but how can you stop someone confessing their love for someone. She looked so happy talking about you. She rushed her training just to be back here in time to get to you guys. There's only two people at fault here and I am looking at them right now." Skyler says getting real passionate about his words.

Serena then looks down guilty and tries to defend herself. "I-I didn't know...they were together" She mumbles and Skyler scoffs.

"Oh please, you would have to blind to not notice the love that was between these two. I saw the way he looked at her when you called, and I saw the way she looked at him. You wanted that to happen, and you're just as selfish as he is for even letting that happen. Just because some guy broke your heart doesn't mean you get to hurt the ones you love to get your own selfish desire." Skyler says and I place my hand on his shoulder to stop him but he only shakes his head.

"No everything deserves to be said. It's time to stop walking on eggshells and put it all out there. Olivia has liked Ash for a very long time, but never got to admit it because she put Serena's feelings before her own. That's what you call someone who isn't selfish. I understand you felt a little jealous because you weren't with Olivia and I was there, but that doesn't give you the right to go kiss another girl, just because you felt insecure." Skyler says and I glance at Ash who sneaks a glare at Bonnie.

"Don't be mad at Bonnie for telling the truth. She was doing what was right." I mumble out making Ash look away from Bonnie to me.

"I wasn't insecure, I'm not mad at anyone I swear! Look Olivia....I was just.."

"Holding onto the grudge of her being with me all this time and decided to leave without you knowing. So go ahead and leave. I'll be here cleaning up the mess you made." Skyler says taking my wrist into his hand and pulling me inside the gym. I don't get to say a word to the others as I just let my head fall and follow Skyler inside. The last thing I see is Ash being pulled away by both Clemont and Serena, and a sad Bonnie following them.

Once we're inside I crash into Skyler and he wraps his arms around me as I let out a strangled sob. I clench onto his shirt as all the pain crashes down onto me. He didn't fight for me, he didn't defend himself, he didn't admit to his wrongs. He didn't make me feel like it was nothing. He wanted this to happen, he wanted me to feel pain. He got what he wanted. All I feel is pain.

Skyler brings my face up and looks at me with a pained look. "You're going to put all this rage into battle, you're going to show just how powerful you are with just you and your Pokemon. You don't need him. You just need your Pokemon by your side. Now go win this last badge. Kill him with success." Skyler says and I nod with a small smile. He's right. I marched into that battle field and did what I do best.
