"ɪ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀᴇsᴛɪᴍᴀᴛᴇ ᴍᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇɴ ʙᴇᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴘʟᴇᴀsᴀɴᴛʟʏ sᴜʀᴘʀɪsᴇᴅ."

We left Misty and Ash in his hospital room since she wanted to eat dinner with him. We left to the Pokemon center across the road. We made reservations for rooms at the Pokemon center since we can't sleep at the hospital. We got the keys to our rooms and headed towards the cafeteria for dinner, because we were starving. We got in line for the food and sat at a table.

"I wish she would just leave already." Bonnie says pouting not really touching her food.

I look at her and pat her back. "She's not that bad, she's just....a little protective over Ash, so that affects her attitude towards others." I tell her.

"She's like an urchin that you can't take off, she won't leave his side, I wouldn't be surprised she has a bucket next to her seat to use as a bathroom because she doesn't want to leave him." Nate chuckles and we all look at him weirdly.

"You're nasty, but he's kinda of right. She's too stuck to his side. He's feeling better so there's no reason for her to be here." Serena says running her temples with an annoyed look on her face.

"Lets not forget they're friends, she's just trying to be supportive as much as she can before she leaves. She hasn't seen Ash in a very long time, so we can't blame her for wanting to spend every second with him." Clemont says and we all nod, he's right but does she have to act so possessive?

"Are you excited for your battle tomorrow?" Nate asks looking at me and I shrug taking a bite out of my food.

"I'm kind of excited to wipe that stupid smirk off her face, but then again do I really have to stoop down to her level? I know what kind of trainer I am. I don't have to prove nothing to nobody." I say shrugging.

"That's the right kind of attitude, you are a great trainer, and no one can tell you other wise, only your Pokemon." Clemont says and I smile him.

"Thanks Clemont." I say and he nods.

"She said something about being a water pokemon trainer, so she only uses water pokemon." Serena says.

"I don't care, I will even use Delphox if I wanted. Just because I can have the upper advantage, doesn't mean I'm going to go the easy way. That's not what I do. Yeah, it's useful to strategize that way, but you don't always have to. I battled Ash against his Greninja with Delphox." I say and everyone nods understandingly.

"I will do my research though, I'll see you guys tomorrow." I say standing up, while picking up my tray. The others say their goodbyes while I throw away my trash, then I head for my room. I was basically dragging myself there because  everything from today just kicked in and I just was exhausted. This from not sleeping for the past two days, worrying for Ash, and just my feelings for him as well. What I needed was a long rest, but I wanted to do some research to see what I'm up against. I take the tablet out of my bag and look up Misty.

Everything about the Cerulan Gym, and what's her favorite set of pokemon that she uses. I smirk as I scroll through the many things that pop up. Brionne comes out of her pokeball and snuggles against me, which reminds me how tired I am, and I put the tablet away and bring the blankets up and wrap Brionne and myself.

Brionne falls asleep by my side while I just stare up at the ceiling. I smirk thinking what tomorrow may bring and just close my eyes. I thought once I close my eyes images of Ash will pop up, but nothing but battling happens in my head which I'm grateful for. Ash is just going to be just fine, and we will be traveling in no time.

ıllıllı 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙽𝚎𝚡𝚝 𝙳𝚊𝚢 ıllıllı

I woke up the next morning to see Bonnie and Serena in their beds in our room. I quietly tip toe out of the room and into the bathroom with my bag. I take a quick shower turning the water to steaming hot, almost to the point where my skin melts off, but it feels great. I step out the shower once I'm done and dry myself off. I quickly get changed into a black loose t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and my black sporty sneakers. Brionne enters the bathroom with something in her arms and I look at it weirdly as she hands it to me. I unfold the article of clothing to see it's my champion varisty jacket that I first worn when I came to Kalos. I look at Brionne with a huge smile and put on the jacket. I look in the mirror and I feel proud as I look at the happy trainer staring back at me.

I have always had mixed emotions on what kind of trainer I am. Some days I feel like I'm a great trainer, but then there are some days when I feel like a really horrible trainer. Today is a good day. I'm going to show Misty what a great trainer I am.

Brionne and I walk out the room where Serena and Bonnie are still sleeping and head down to the cafeteria. It's a bit early so no one is really down there. I let my whole team out and we start chowing down on some food. I look at my pokemon while they eat and chat with each other, thinking who will I use for this battle. Should I take it the easy way and use Leafeon and glitter? Or should I show misty that I don't need type advantage to win? Maybe I should just wing it.

"Alright it's time for everyone to get brushed! We want to look good for our battle." I say and everyone pushes each other to try to get to me first and Rocky beats everyone. I laugh at everyone's sad faces and roll my eyes.

"Don't worry, everyone will have their turn." I say and start brushing Rocky, who's tail is wagging wildly from happiness making me giggle. I brush all my Pokemon and they all cheer at their clean coats and I put all my stuff away.

"Alright everyone return for now." I say returning all my Pokemon besides Glitter, because she wants to see Pikachu. We leave the pokemon center and cross the road to where the hospital is at. The front desk lady smiles at me and waves her hand already knowing I'm going to visit Ash and I just thank her. Glitter climbs up onto my shoulder and cheers in excitement, and I laugh. I reach his door and knock softly and open it. I open it to see Misty cuddled up with Ash inside of his bed. She looks like she is almost about to fall out of the bed from the little bit of space Ash left her. Pikachu is the only one up, and he seems pleased that he finally has company and exits the room.

I feel like I can't breath from what I just witnessed. I just shake my head and storm towards the exit of the hospital with the two Pikachu following me calling out for me to stop. I ignore the faces of the people who watch me with weird looks. I bump into someone and look up to see Nate who looks shocked, but once he sees my face his reaction softens and he reaches his arms out for a hug, but I just shake my head.

"Don't say anything to anyone, I just want to be alone." I say and run away. I knew I said I didn't care about Misty, I knew I said it wasn't that serious, but everything I said was a lie. I do care! It really hurts to see him so happy with another girl, I know I just want him to be happy and it shouldn't matter, but that doesn't mean that I can't be upset.

I stop running and look around to see nothing but trees surrounding me. I hear something and look back to see both the pikachu. I press my back against one of the trees and slide down it until I'm sitting against it. Glitter climbs on my lap looking at me worriedly and I just give her a soft smile. I don't like when my Pokemon see me upset, they shouldn't have to worry.

"Remember when we all went out and had a fun time together? It was just the four of us.I wish we could go back to that day." I say in a sad tone and they both nod. Pikachu drops his head on my lap, I guess feeling sorry for me that his trainer is being an idiot, and I rub his head.

"It's not your fault, matter of fact it's no one's fault but mine. I was the one that gave in and had feelings for this kid. Who doesn't even return them anymore. I'm just going to stay friends with him and that's it. When he comes to Alola he can find a new tour guide, because I'm done. I want to leave the drama here in Kalos." I say then stand up.

"Now it's time for my battle, and I will win." I say and Glitter cheers feeling pumped about the battle as well. Pikachu smiles at the two of us and nods.

"Let's head back." I say and they both climb up onto my shoulders and I walk back, but I make sure I take my time. I'm not really in a rush to see the two again.

I see the hospital up ahead and frown, well I guess I didn't take that long. I ignore people and walk to one of the battle fields that I see next to the Pokemon center where everyone is waiting. I even see Ash in a wheelchair and Misty pushing it towards the battlefield. Pikachu jumps off of my shoulder and joins Ash climbing on his lap. Serena is the first one to spot me, and runs to give me a hug. I smile and wrap my arms around her and pull away.

"Thanks I needed that." I whisper too her and she nods.

"If there's anything you need to talk about just ask me." She whispers back and I nod.

Nate comes over to me next and pulls me in for a hug as well and I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"Make sure you crush her." He whispers into my ear and I smirk. I pull away from him and he joins the others at the bench. Bonnie sends me a thumbs up to which I nod at her with a small smile. Clemont stands from the bench and stands by the side of the battlefield and looks at both me and Misty as we get into position. Before he speaks up I cut in.

"How many Pokemon do you have with you?" I ask her.

"Three?" She says looking at me confused. I nod and look towards Clemont.

"It will be a three on three Pokemon battle." I say to him and he nods. I look back to Misty and smirk.

"I want to see what you're made of." I say smirking. Glitter jumps off my shoulder with a determined look on her face and stands in a battle stance ready.

"Don't worry, I will show you everything I got." She says as she chuckles and I try hard not to roll my eyes.

"This will be a three on three Pokemon battle, it ends when one side is unable to continue. Let the battle begin!" He says waving his arm.

"Staryu let's go!" Misty shouts throwing a Pokeball and out comes a Staryu. I let out a sigh and chuckle. There's no need to worry, my Pokemon and I both got this.

"Glitter use Quick attack!" I shout.

"Pika!" She shouts and leaps into the air then starts running towards Staryu.

"Staryu use rapid spin!" Misty shouts.

Staryu starts spinning really quickly and moved out of the way when Glitter goes to attack and then comes in from behind.

"Glitter spin and use Iron tail!" I yell quickly.

Glitter lands on her one paw and pushes herself so that her body spins swinging her tail as it glows, and hits Staryu with Iron tail sending it back.

"Don't let it recover! Use Volt tackle!" I shout. Glitter's body sparks up as she runs at Staryu.

"Staryu use bubble beam to stop Glitter!" Misty shouts.

I chuckle, because electricity is more powerful than a simple water attack, bubblebeam won't stop Glitter, but I guess they're going to learn the hard way. Smoke appears as the bubble beam collides with Volt tackle, but Glitter comes out of that smoke still having the power of volt tackle and hits Staryu. Staryu lands near Misty and it's body starts to spark, because it became paralyzed.

"Staryu use Water gun in the air!" Misty shouts and Staryu uses Water gun right above and it soaks staryu completely and gets rid of the paralysis. I clench my fists but try to show that I'm not that upset.

"A little water won't help, Glitter use thunderbolt!" I shout.

"Staryu use swift!" Misty shifts.

Glitter runs and leaps in the air but before she can use thunderbolt Staryu uses swift that hits Glitter badly and she lands in front of me. I watch worriedly as Glitter stands and shakes her fur a bit from it being covered in dust and looks back at me with a smirk and nods. I smile at her and nod as well. I look up and straight towards Misty who just has a smug smile on her face and I glare.

"Glitter use Quick attack." I say and she nods running at Staryu.

"Staryu use double-edge!" Misty shouts and Staryu comes spinning fast at Glitter.

"Spin and switch to Iron tail!" I shout.

"Not going to happen, Staryu use water gun!" Misty shouts.

Glitter flips over above Staryu ready to use Iron tail but gets blasted in the face with water gun and gets blasted straight up into the air.

"Thunderbolt!" I shout.

Glitter twists her body and uses thunderbolt on Staryu who gets shocked really badly and falls to the ground unable to battle. Glitter grabs onto her tail and spins so that she lands safely on the ground.

"Staryu is unable to battle! The win goes to Glitter!" Clemont shouts and Glitter runs then jumps in my arms and I lift her up and spin her cheering happily. The others cheer for us and I giggle. Pikachu jumps off of Ash's lap and runs towards us. Glitter jumps out of my arms and runs for Pikachu and Pikachu congratulate his new mate with a happy snuggle.

I take a pokeball out of my pocket and hold it firmly in my hand. "The battle isn't over yet." I say and throw the pokeball and out comes Sylveon.

"Youre right, it isn't." She says throwing a pokeball and out comes a Psyduck.

"Hey it's Psyduck!" Ash cheers and Pikachu greets Psyduck from next to Glitter. Psyduck just stares at everyone blankly and we all look at it confused besides for Misty and Ash.

"Psyduck is a very.....special pokemon." Misty explains with an embarrassed shrug and I just giggle at that. The dumb look on Psyduck's face is rather adorable. Sylveon just tilts her head at Pysduck looking at him weirdly while Psyduck looks at Sylveon confused.

"Whatever it doesn't matter use your Psychic attack!" She shouts and Psyduck just stands there confused. Misty drops her head ashamed and we all look at each other and I just shrug.

"Umm...Sylveon use swift." I say not really sure what to do.

Sylvron nods and leaps into the air launching swift at Psyduck who covers his face as he gets hit with the swift.

"You're really going to let Pysduck take the hit instead of asking him to dodge?" I ask.

"No I'm not letting him just get hit! He doesn't want to move! Ugh! Psyduck use Scratch!" Misty shouts but Psyduck just still stands there.

"Sylveon use draining Kiss!" I shout.

Sylveon makes her way over to Psyduck cautiously and kisses his cheek and Psyduck falls on his butt and sits there. Wow this battle is too easy.

"Come on Psyduck! Get up and move!" Misty shouts stomping her feet looking rather weird.

"Sylveon lift it and slam it!" I shout.

Sylveon uses her ribbons to lift up Psyduck who just lets her lift him up and she slams him on the ground a couple times and lets him go once she slams him so that he hits his head.

It's weird because Psyduck's reaction changes dramatically. He clenches his head and groans in annoyance. I stare confused and so does Sylveon. Psyduck's eyes then start to glow and Sylveon rises in the air making me gasp.

"Psyduck's headache always seems to come through." Ash says laughing.

"Sylveon use swift!" I shout.

Psyduck uses Psychic and slams Sylveon down on the ground hard and swings her around in the air. She uses swift and it flies everywhere and we all take cover. Psyduck gets hit and his Psychic power gets cut off and Sylveon falls on the ground.

"Sylveon use fairywind!" I call out to her. As long as we keep hitting Psyduck he won't be able to focus and use his Psychic power. Sylveon launches a powerful gust of wind at Psyduck and he gets knocked off his feet and falls near misty.

"Sylveon use moonblast." I shout.

"Come on Psyduck! Use water gun!" Misty shouts out to Pysduck who just stands slowly. He uses a powerful water gun but Moonblast stops it completely creating a small explosion that has smoke appear.

"Psyduck use the smoke for cover and use scratch!" Misty shouts.

"That won't work! Sylveon use fairy wind!" I shout and she clears the smoke with fairy wind. Psyduck gets hit by fairy wind and it sends him back far slamming into a tree. He falls from the tree and is unable to battle.

"Psyduck is unable to battle! The win goes to Sylveon!" Clemont says and I cheer jumping up and down.

I return Sylveon to her pokeball and grab another pokeball. So far it's misty down two and I still have all my Pokemon, isn't that just the saddest thing....No let's not get cocky now.

"Rocky I choose you!" I shout throwing a pokeball and out comes Rocky who stands proud and lets out a loud howl.

"I won't lose, no matter if I have one pokemon left. I can still come out on top! Gyrados let's go!" She shouts throwing a pokeball and out comes a huge Gyarados. I have to take a step back from how big it is and I look at Misty impressed, not a lot of people can train Gyarados.

"Rocky run around Gyarados!" I shout.

He snarls and runs around Gyrados who just watches him. Gyarados tries several times to take a bite at Rocky, but Rocky is too fast for him.

"Rocky now use Accelerock!" I shout.

He keeps running and his body starts to glow and runs at a tree jumping off of it then zipping at Gyarados attacking his side making him stumble a bit.

"Gyarados hyper beam!" Misty shouts.

"Quick use Stone edge." I shout. Rocky stomps on the ground and huge boulders appear in front of him and hit Gyarados who get a sent flying into the air then falls.

"Gyarados we're not about to lose." She says winking at me and flips her hair to show a mega stone is hanging from her hair piece. Everyone gasps as they watch and she taps on the stone and Gyarados Mega Evolves.

"That's awesome!" Ash shouts as he looks at the Mega Gyarados.

"It's so big." Serena says amazed.

"I never seen such a thing." Cleomnt says as he looks at Mega Gyarados.

"You can do it Olivia!" Bonnie cheers and I smile at her.

"Rocky don't worry, we still have a few tricks up our sleeve." I say looking at him and his tail wags.

"Gyarados use use rain dance then use Hurricane!" Misty shouts and I clench my teeth together as I watch. A huge vortex of water appears in front of Gyarados and the wind picks up a bit and it starts to rain. The vortex of water starts heading for Rocky who just keeps backing up. It comes in fast and swallows Rocky inside. Rocky swirls around in the Hurricane.

"Rocky use Accelerock!" I shout. From here I can see his body starts to glow and he rides the Hurricane out with Accelrock and comes out from the top of it. He lands next to me but falls. He stands up weakly and lets out a loud howl.

"Gyarados use hyper beam!" Misty shouts. Gyarados lets out a loud shriek and aims hyper beam at Rocky but he moves to the side just before he can get hit.

"Rocky, let's do this! This is our last shot." I say put my arm in front of that shows my Z-Ring. I reach in my pocket and pull out the Rockium Z-Crystal and place it on my Z-Ring. I look Rocky who nods and comes over to me standing directly in front of me. I do the poses for Continental Crush and Rocky and I glow with Z-Power.

Rocky leaps into the air having a million stones appear in at the top of him making a huge rock. He throws the huge rock over Gyarados and it smashes on top of him. Gyarados does get hit but it wasn't enough to defeat him. Don't get me wrong Gyarados is still very weak but like I said it wasn't enough. The Z-move must of drained Rocky of his last bit of energy as he lands next to me and falls on his side.

"Rocky is unable to battle! The win goes to Gyarados!" Clemont says. I return Rocky to his pokeball and I look over to Pikachu and Glitter. I nod at Glitter and she nods back running towards me and stands in front of me.

It's still raining which is good for our electrical attacks.

"Let's get charged up buddy, thunderbolt straight up!" I shout.

Glitter uses thunderbolt straight up into the clouds. The clouds get darker and strike Glitter back with thunder. Glitter stands there trying to absorb every little bit of electricity and once it stops Glitter is coated with a golden coat of Amor.

Misty gasps as she watches but then her shocked reaction turns into frustration.

"Gyarados use Hurricane!" Misty shouts.

"Glitter use Volt tackle and aim straight for that Hurricane!" I shout. Everyone looks at me shocked like what am I thinking but I know what I'm doing. Glitter runs at the Hurricane with volt tackle and gets swallowed by it. The electricity absorbs the water and the Hurricane disappears. Glitter lands next to me with a smirk on her face.

Misty just growls stomping her foot. "Gyarados grab onto Glitter with your tail." Misty shouts.

Gyarados uses it's tail and stretches it out grabbing onto Glitter having her in a tight hold where she can't move. I clench my teeth and my fists as I watch.

"Glitter use thunderbolt!" I shout.

"Gyarados use hyper beam!" Misty shouts.

Glitter uses Thunderbolt but it doesn't do that much affect as she gets hit with a powerful hyper beam.

She lands next to me and stands weakly. I look at Gyarados and see he is just as weak as glitter. Glitter's thunder amor went away and her regular fur is showing. It's still raining so we might have a chance. Glitter stands up and she angrily sparks as she glares at Gyarados who lets out a threatening shriek making everyone cover their ears.

This last move is what counts the most so we have to make it work. I may have Sylveon left if all fails, but that is my last resort. Glitter and I can do this.

"Glitter use Quick attack!" I shout.

"Gyarados use crunch!" Misty shouts.

Glitter uses the speed of quick attack to run quickly towards Gyarados who bends his head down to take a bite at Glitter who jumps on his head holding on. Gyarados angrily tries to shake Glitter off but she has a firm hold.

"Glitter use thunderbolt!" I shout.

Gyarados manages to shake Glitter off but she just twists her body and uses thunderbolt and Gyarados is getting coated with a lot of electricity.

Glitter lands safely in front of me facing towards me. Gyarados falls behind her unable to battle and I gasp.

"Gyarados is unable to battle! The victory goes to Olivia and her Pokemon."

I fall down to my knees out of shock and cover my mouth holding back the excited scream that wants to come out and Glitter runs at me and jumps into my arms and I hug her tightly.

"I knew we could do it! I'm so proud of my Pokemon." I say feeling a few tears fall from my eyes, and Glitter wipes them away with her tail. I stand up with Glitter climbing up on my shoulder and smile over at the others who run and congratulate me. I even see Ash stand from his wheelchair and walk over to me with Misty by his side.

"Congratulations Olivia you beat me." Misty says with a forced smile and I just smile back.

"Thank you, you were a good opponent." I say to her and she just nods.

"I told you, she was a great trainer." Ash says looking at Misty with a smug smile and she just scoffs.

"Aren't you suppose to be in your wheelchair?" Clemont asks looking over at Ash who just shrugs.

"Eh, I got tired of sitting around all day, I'm perfectly fine." He says and Pikachu climbs on his shoulder happy that his trainer is okay as he snuggles against Ash who chuckles.

"Well we're glad you okay." Serena says and we all nod.

"I wouldn't be okay, if it wasn't for Olivia. She saved my life." He says looking directly at me as he says that and my heart warms at the kind words.

"We saved each other." I say and he grins.

"I have to go call my sisters, they probably set the gym on fire." Misty says walking away towards the Pokemon center.

Everyone begins to scatter gathering their things to head back inside as well but I stop them by speaking up. "Hey guys I wanted to tell you something." I say.

Everyone looks to me and gathers around. I take a deep breath looking down at my feet feeling the heavy stares on me and look up.

"I'm finishing my Kalos journey by myself, I can't travel with you guys anymore."
