"ɪᴛs ғᴜɴ ᴛᴏ ᴘʟᴀʏ ᴘʀᴇᴛᴇɴᴅ."

Serena took the lead as we were heading to Couirway town for her next Performance. She, Eevee, and Braixen took the lead, followed by Ash and I then Bonnie, and lastly of course Clemont.

We stopped on the bridge looking at all the water that surrounded the town beautifully. "It's so pretty." Serena says.

"Look at all the waterfalls Clemont." Bonnie says as the two got onto the bridge.

"Couriway town is known for the town of waterfalls." Clemont informs us.

"It's also the site of the next Pokemon showcase." I add.

"It's also where you're going to make your beautiful debut." Serena says to Eevee as she picks her up. Eevee cheers happily.

We all run to get a closer look and make it into a hill that see just beyond onto the stage. We all gasp as we take a look at it. I squeal as I look around.

"I remember my Couirway performance. I used Brionne, Vaporeon and Pikachu. I really wanted to use water Pokemon to blend in with waterfalls, but a nice twist with electricity." I say.

"That sounds awesome." Bonnie says.

"It was, it was my very first performance. Everyone seemed to like that, I added Pikachu to the water type theme I had going on. I was happy because I got my first princess key on my very first try." I say, reaching in my bag, pulling my keys out looking at my Couirway princess key.

Everyone gathers around and looks at it. "This is the performance, that determines your way into the master class. I know you'll be able to pull through." I say to Serena as I rest my hand onto her shoulder.

"This time the stage incorporates both terrain, and waterfalls." Clemont says.

"It's our first performance outside." Serena says. Serena picks up a nervous Eevee and looks at her with a comforting smile.

"I was nervous my first time too, I still tend to get nervous. I'm also excited aren't you?" She asks Eevee. Eevee still seems a little nervous as she looks at the stage.

"Lots of people are going to watch us perform. Isn't that wonderful?" She asks. Eevee replies with a sound of agreement.

"Okay your dancing in the freestyle performance okay?" Serena tells Eevee.

"Wait a minute....who am I going to use?" I ask worriedly. "I was so focused on training for my next gym battle. I forgot about my appearance performance." I sigh covering my face.

"Don't worry we all will help out." Ash says.

"Right, you helped me now I can help you." Serena says.

"Who do you want to use?" Clemont ask

"I don't know." I pout.

"Look you guys go get Serena registered, and settled. I will take Olivia to the Pokemon center to find out what Pokemon she wants to use." He says.

"Are you sure because we can help." Serena says urgently taking a step forward.

"We'll be fine Serena, just get yourself ready, and we will see you guys later." Ash says and takes me by the wrist. We all go our separate ways and I follow Ash to the Pokemon center.

"I still don't know who I want to use." I sigh.

"Well you have to get creative and find some inspiration." He says stopping at a bridge looking out onto the water.

I stop next to him looking out at the water to see a gorebyss and a huntail playing with each other. They seem to be together romantically because of the way they were acting. I gasp and think who I want to use and hug Ash.

"I finally know who I'm going to use! Thank you! thank you! thank you!" I cheer.

"Is it going to be a surprise or are you going to tell me." He says.

"This time I'm going to need your help so let's go to the Pokemon center." I say leading him there.

We make it in the Pokemon center and I talk to Nurse Joy at the front desk asking her if I can ship two Pokemon out, and get two Pokemon from home. She nods and I call Professor KuKui to send me my two Pokemon that I want and ship back Braixen and Leafeon.

Once the transaction is complete Nurse Joy hands me a dive ball, and an ultra ball. I thank her and walk outside the Pokemon center to see Ash waiting.

"Did you get what you needed?" He asks as he sees me come towards him.

"Yes I did now I need to do some super speed practicing." I say.

"Let's go then, we have no time to waste." He says. We walk out to a clear field and I grab another Pokeball and let out the three Pokemon that I'm using for this performance. Ash looks at my Pokemon with a determined nod.

"I think it's going to be a great performance." He says.

"Couirway town be ready." I say looking at the stadium with a smirk.

During breakfast Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie kept asking Ash and I what Pokemon did I pick for this performance. Ash just playfully zips his lips throwing away the key and I just laugh it off whenever they ask.

We were all standing outside the stadium watching many performers walk inside along with people who were going to watch. I had on a black hoodie to disguise myself so people wouldn't recognize me. I'm surprised no one rarely looked at me. I looked pretty creepy with a black hoodie standing by the entrance.

"I don't know why, but I'm freaking out." I say, shaking my hands out taking deep breathes.

"Well it has been a while since the last Pokemon showcase." Clemont says.

"I'm the Kalos Queen, I don't get nervous." I say with a pout.

"Everyone gets nervous." Ash says.

"Yeah, remember what you told me? Just focus on having fun. Nothing else matters." Serena says, pulling me in for a hug and I let out another deep breath and nod.

"Thanks guys, I really needed that." I say.

"Wow, look at all the people." Bonnie says as she stands by the gate a little away from us.

"Bonnie, try not to go too far okay?" Serena callss out. She then turns and calls out for her friend.

"Nini? It's so great to see you." She says giving a girl a hug.

"You too. I'm so excited to perform. If I win, this will be my third princess key." Nini says.

"Mine too, and I don't plan on losing." Serena says with a confident smile.

"Hi Nini, farfetch'd, and Smoochum." Bonnie greets as she walks over.

Smoochum walks over to Panchum and acts flirtatious towards him, making Panchum uncomfortable, which makes us all laugh. "Wow, you have a Gothita." Serena says hold her pokedex up to Gothita.

"Gothita, the Fixation Pokémon. Their ribbonlike feelers increase their psychic power. They are always staring at something." The pokedex says.

"Wow I haven't seen Eevee before." Nini says as she smiles towards Eevee who runs behind Serena's legs shyly.

"What's the matter?" Nini asks looking confused and a bit concerned. 

"Eevee's just a little shy, she will open up once she gets to know you. That might take a while though." I say.

"Who are you?" Nini asks finally noticing me and I wanted to roll my eyes.

"She's ummmm." Ash says not getting any words out of his mouth.

"She's my umm." Serena says trying to help but nothing comes out of her mouth either.

I sigh, taking off the hood that's on my head revealing myself. "My names Olivia, nice to meet you. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about you." I say, reaching my hand out and Nini shakes it happily.

"Wow, you're! Oh my, it's wonderful to meet you as well!" Nini squeals. I smile gently and place my hood over my head.

"We better head inside." I say.

"We still have time to get ready." Serena says.

"Not me, I have a surprise." I wink and head inside.

I'm doing two outfit changes so that I'm wearing three outfits today. Before I do my performance I have to do my surprise entry for the audience. I get dressed first and make sure my Pokemon are ready and dressed perfectly too. When it's five minutes to curtain time the stage director gets me on time and I place a hat over my head and grab my wireless mircophone placing it on my ear.

I stand on the platform and the stage starts to shoot fireworks and fountains of water as the platform rises. "Bonjour pokemon lovers, and welcome to the Pokemon competition. Magnifique! I am your Kalos Queen Madame Olivia!" I shout as I appear on the stage dressed like Pierre.

The crowd's grow wild and their cheers get a lot louder as they see my impression of Pierre and he joins form the other side of the stage.

"The Couirway Pokemon Showcase will delight, as we present our rookie class division. I am your dream world guy. Monsieur Pierre." He announces and the crowd cheers.

"Prepare to witness the competition by excellence! The winner gets one step closer to becoming the Kalos Queen with this princess key." I shout as Pierre's Pokemon shows off the winner's princess key.

"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's theme performance is on the screen!" Pierre announces as he points his staff towards the screen above us. The screen shows a pokepuff, which means there is going to be baking. A kitchen appears on a platform and I walk towards it. Showing the audience a tray of pokepuffs I made earlier.

"A pokepuff. performance is not just about baking, but elegantly and imaginatively performing while baking." I say and the crowd cheers.

"The judging is very simple if you think the performance is exceptional please cast your vote with the glow casters you have at your seat. If a performer gets enough votes she'll pass the same performance. Without further delay, let us get to our guest of Honor and the appearance, performance from Madame Olivia." Pierre announces and he disappears from the stage.

I stand in the center of the stage waving towards the crowd who cheers. My Pokemon are all waiting underneath the water that is surrounding the stage. I do a something cool by throwing a special trick on the floor that makes smoke appear covering myself so that no one can see me. I change into my second outfit and the smoke clears.

The crowd cheers louder as I pose, and all my Pokemon appear from the water and onto the stage.

"Brionne use Aqua Jet! Dragonair use Dragon rush! And Milotic use Giga Impact!" I shout. They all zip around the stage going in and out the water, making rainbows appear as the water sprays into the air.

"Milotic use Aqua ring! Dragonair use thunderbolt! And Brionne use bubble beam!" I shout. Milotic swirls her body around me letting out aqua ring and a vortex of water surrounds us. The thunderbolt and bubble beam connect with the vortex and we're hidden by a vortex of many different colors.

"Dragonair use icebeam." I shout. The vortex of clear see through water turns to ice where you could hardly see us and the crowd cheers. I change into my final outfit and smirk.

"Brionne use Aqua Jet! Milotic use Giga impact! And Dragonair use Dragon rush." They circle the walls inside the cylinder of ice making it glow inside and out and even at the top so it kinda looks like a flashlight of color and they escape the cylinder of ice and circle around the outside of it.

"Dragonair Flamethrower! Brionne Hyper Voice! and Milotic Disarming Voice!" I shout. They all come together around the cylinder using their moves and it breaks creating a shining light and sparkles of ice fall down onto the stage beautifully.

They all circle around me and the audience gasp at my final outfit change. Milotic sprays water above us so that a rainbow appears and we bow. The audience cheer for us as the platform goes down. I go to my dressing room and change back to my regular clothing and meet the gang at their seats to watch the show. Glitter comes out of her Pokeball and sits on my lap and greets Pikachu shyly and he greets her happily.

"Your performance was even better than we practiced." Ash says.

"You have such awesome Pokemon!" Bonnie says.

"I really like the cylinder of ice." Clemont says.

"Thanks guys." I giggle.

We all focus our attention to the stage and we watch as, Nini is up first with her Pokemon. Gothita uses its Pyschic power to left the berries into the air. Farfetch'd uses furry cutter to break the berries into many slices.

Smoochum dances around the stage with a bowl in her hand catching all the berries. Gothita and Smoochum help put with the dough and Nini places it in the oven to cook. Gothita stirs the icing for the pokepuffs until Nini takes it out the oven. Smoochum ices the pokepuffs while Gothita decorates it with the berries for the final touch. Once they finish their pokepuff, it looked amazing.

"Nini did great!" Ash says.

"Chespin please calm down." Clemont sighed as Chespin squirmed in his lap, desperately wanting a pokepuff.

"I think I got a solution for that." I say, reaching into my bag and pulling out my pokepuff case handing the Pokemon a pokepuff each.

"Now if you enjoyed Nini's performance, please cast your vote with your glow casters now." Pierre says. We all grab out glow casters from our seats and cast our vote to Nini because she did a great job. The votes are tallied up and she passed the Theme performance.

"Now, for our next performer Jessilee!" Pierre announces. Her Wobbuffet starts off at shaking the flour into the bowl. Next her Meowth gives the dough a nice massage getting it just right. She bakes the pokepuffs then brings it out swirling some chocolate icing on top. Meowth then stamps his charm onto the pokepuffs make us gasp.

"That's so cool!" Ash says.

Jessilee has a pink topping on the top of her pokepuff. Meowth then uses furry swipies to cut the topping, making it to crumbs decorating the Pokepuff beautifully. She adds more chocolate to outline the charm stamp and adds one final Meowth accessory on the pokepuff. Once she finishes, she and her Pokemon bow and we all cheer.

"So far, Jessilee's performance is my favorite." I say as I cast my vote with my glow caster.

"Mine too, I love how creative she was by adding the stamp from Meowth's charm." Ash says. All the votes are tallied up and Jessilee has passed the Theme performance. It goes by a blur once everyone gets their chance at making pokepuffs. After four more performers it's finally Serena's turn.

My hands clench in my lap and Glitter looks at me with a comforting smile and I just smile back. I hope Serena passes the Theme performance. She appeared on the stage with just Panchum by her side and they get busy fast.

Panchum dances around the stage using spoons to play with the ingredients and pans like their instruments. Serena dances along with him, adding the right ingredients and then bakes the pokepuff. She takes it out and Panchum flips over the counter and over Serena as she twirl with the pokepuff in the air and Panchum adds the icing as he flips over. She adds berries to it and then bows.

Bonnie and I stand up clapping for her and the audience goes crazy for her. We sit back in our seats laughing and raise our glow casters voting for Serena. The votes tally up and Serena has passed the Theme performance.

"That's all for the Theme performance, congratulations to all who have made it to the freestyle performance, which will take place this evening. Until then Au revior!" Pierre shouts and we all clap for those who made it.

We stand up and exit the stadium waiting for Serena. She exits with her Pokemon and we congratulate her. "I'm starving lets go to a quiet spot for lunch." I say rubbing my stomach.

"Its like you're reading my mind." Ash chuckles.

"More like reading your stomach." Bonnie laughs and we join laughing as well. We eat lunch on a quiet hill that's next to one of the waterways that runs through Couirway town.

"Your performance was amazing Olivia, you were so nervous this morning, but you did great!" Serena says. I laugh and shake my head.

"I don't know why I was so nervous, but I'm glad I got that out the way. It's time to train for my gym battle." I say stoked.

"Can I see your Pokemon?" Bonnie asks.

"Of course Bonnie, they should eat after that performance." I say standing up from the blanket and walking to the side reaching for my pokeballs then throwing them in the air.

"Come on out guys!" I say. Dragonair, Milotic, and Brionne appear in front of me and I smile as we do a group hug.

"I'm so proud of you guys, you did amazing. I bet you're hungry." I say walking over adding berries with Pokemon food into three bowls and placing it in front of them.

"I was shocked at first when I meet them, I'm still kind of amazed. You rarely see Milotic and Dragonair." Ash says.

"I got a Dratini back in Jhoto, from the Dragon Master himself. Clair wasn't so stoked that I beat her, so she suggested I meet the guy. He was very impressed with me and gave me a Dratini, who evolved later into Dragonair." I explain.

Bonnie walks up slowly towards Milotic reaching a hand out, but then pulls away shyly. Milotic lifts her head from her food and looks towards Bonnie. She stares at her lowering her head to show Bonnie that it's safe to pet her. Bonnie takes a step closer and then Milotic snuggles her head against Bonnie making Bonnie giggle.

I walk up to Dragonair lifting his head up snuggling against him. "We've been through a lot, haven't we?" I say as I look into his eyes and he nods.

"What made you do three outfit changes?" Serena asks. I shrug my shoulders, looking at her.

"I don't know to be honest. I just...did it." I snort. Brionne nudges me once her plate is empty and I give her a pokepuff to which she eats gratefully.

"I remember when she was just a popplio, she was so desperate to evolve, but I didn't think she was ready. After some hardcore training and testing out her skills, I let her evolve to a Brionne." I say.

"Eevee are you okay?" Serena asks a sad looking Eevee who is just staring down at the ground not bothering to eat.

"Eevee you have to eat to get your energy." Ash says.

"I can try adding an Oran berry and a sitrus berry so that's easier to eat." Clemont says and chops up the berries adding them to Eevee's food. Eevee sniffs the then starts to eat.

"Wow, thanks Clemont." Serena says.

"No problem." He says.

"You practiced so hard for this, now all you have to do is dance." Bonnie says encouragingly to Eevee.

"Olivia we should start some special training after the showcase." Ash says.

"Yeah! There's no way I'm going to lose that gym battle." I say confidently.

"Niether am I." He says.

"I have to switch my Pokemon back, but I can do that tomorrow when we stop by a Pokemon center. I miss my Pokemon." I say.

"Alright it's time lets go." Serena says standing up.

We clean up lunch and head back towards the stadium, I get back into my Pierre outfit and head towards the stage while Serena goes to get ready, and the gang goes to their seats. I bring out Dragonair out so that I can ride onto the stage. I climb on his back and he flies around the stage gracefully.

"I welcome you back on this lovely evening we will now begin our exciting freestyle performance." I shout out into the microphone as Dragonair lands on the center stage and I jump off.

"First up is Nini!" I say then point to a part of the stage where she comes up a platform with her Pokemon then I exit the stage. I watch from the sidelines along with Pierre.

She gets Smoochum to start off with powder snow. Next farfetch'd uses furry cutter to change the pattern of the powder snow. Her and her Pokemon, then dance around the stage. Gothita is next and she uses psychic, which lifts Nini up into the air and she twirls around. Smoochum then uses heart stamp followed by farfetch'd who uses furry cutter once more. Which makes the hearts to petals. She lands on the stage and they all pose to finish.

Pierre enters the stage and announces the next performer, which is Jessilee, and then exits the stage. Jessilee starts off with her gourgiest using awesome that grow into comes lifting her up on the stage. Her Wobbuffet then uses counter and Jessilee bounces off of him and flies again into the air. Her gourgiest uses shadow ball, but her convicted uses counter again so that it bounces off of him and hits back to gourgiest who uses seed bomb once more and it clashes into fireworks. They all meet in the middle and pose to finish.

The next two performers are up, it's a girl with her ducklett and teddurisa, and the girl with her Leafeon and Flareon which I liked their performance a lot. Fianlly it's Serena's turn and I head on stage.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is our very last freestyle performance. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did watching these performers. Give a warm welcome to our wonderful, Serena!" I shout and exit the stage as Serena appear from the platform with Braixen and Eevee.

First Braixen cartwheels around the stage while using flamethrower so a ring of fire surrounds Serena and Eevee as they both dance. Eevee is a little shy at first, but once she starts dancing, she smiles bright and seems to be having a good time.

Braixen does a tunnel of fire using flamethrower that Eevee jumps thrower and she dances gracefully in the air as well and finally lands on Briaxens branch. I start cheering from the side of the stage as the crowd cheers loudly for them as well. Eevee then slips off of Braixen's branch and falls to the stage making us all gasp. Serena call out for Eevee with a smile on her face. Eevee nods and they get back into momentum and dance again while Serena and Braixen twirl the fire around. Braixen uses fireblast to finish off and they pose for finish.

I start cheering and clapping for Serena and so does the audience. All the performances stand on the stage and Pierre and I stand on each side of them. "Now it is time ladies and gentleman. Cast your vote with your glow casters to the performers you though, did the most magnifique!" I shout.

Everyone casts their vote and they start to tally up and Pierre announces the winner. "The performer with the most votes is, Performer Jessilee!" He shouts. Pierre hands me the princess key and Dragonair and I walk to Jesseliee she stands there as the other performers leave the stage.

"Jessilee as the winner, of this showcase. I present you this princess key." I say and Dragonair lifts up his tail where the key is on and gives it to Jessilee who takes it excitement and cheers.

"I got my very first princess key!" She cheers. I walk next to Pierre and smirk.

"I had a good time being Pierre for the day, but no one does it better than you." I say and the audience laughs.

"Madame Olivia it was a pleasure to share the stage with you tonight, and that concludes our Couirway town, rookie class Pokemon showcase. We'll see you again next time!" Pierre concludes and the audience cheers as we exit the stage. I get changed back into my normal clothes and met the gang out. Nini is there talking with them.

"We're try again next time Nini." Serena says.

"You bet. I will work harder next time." Nini says.

"Eevee don't be sad, you did great for your first showcase." Ash says.

"Your recovery on stage was inspiring, I'm so proud of the both of you." I say as I finally reach the gang.

"Thanks Olivia, that means a lot. And they're right Eevee the most important thing is to never give up. No point being sad about it." Serena says.

"Lets do our best for the next showcase okay?" Serena says as she lifts a happier looking Eevee up.

"I know what would cheer us up." I state placing my hands on my hips with a smirk.

"Food?" Ash whines. My stomach growls and I laugh.

"Looks like you read my stomach this time." The gang laughs and we head toward the Pokemon center to eat and rest.
