dp's mom - "No, because if I wait for Delphine to find love when she wants to, that's going to take forever." My mom said to my dad.

dp's dad - "So what? That means she found the right one." My dad said to my mom.

⇒ My mom sighed.

dp's mom - "ok très bien." (Okay, fine) My mom said to my dad.

delphine - "Thank you very much." I said to my mom.

{ DELPHINE'S POV }

⇒ I went to my room and grabbed my pajamas to take a shower and changed into comfortable clothes.

{ TIME SKIPS }

⇒ I changed into my pajamas and laid on my bed scrolling through my phone. An unknown notification appeared on my phone and I forgot for a second that my mom downloaded a dating app on my phone. The notification showed that someone wants to match with me. I scoffed and was about to delete the dating app but I was curious about what the guy looks like.

⇒ I clicked on the notification and it led me to the app. The guy that added me appeared on my phone screen and the only picture he had was him turned around avoiding the camera. I was even more curious about what he looks like and how he's like. I looked at his bio and read his description.

{ TIME SKIPS }

⇒ After reading the guy's bio, he seemed like a good and active guy. I accidentally pressed the heart button signaling that I was interested in him. I screamed and tried to delete the app but the guy opened the chat and was typing a message. I wanted to delete the app so bad but I waited. I was curious about how he is and how he's like.

MESSAGES:

"Hi, you added me quite fast."
The guy texted me.

"H-hi, was I not supposed to?"
I asked the guy.

"No, I'm glad you did it, many people I
will take forever to add me back."
The guy said to me. 

"Oh, I see."
I said to the guy.

"Yes....you have a pretty name, it says
in your bio, you're from France."
The guy asked me.

"Thank you and yes, I'm from France, but I
live in New York, your bio doesn't say where
you are from."
I said to the guy.

"Oh, I'm from Japan, but I moved to New York
too."
The guy said to me.

"Really?!"
I asked him.

"Yes! Maybe, we can meet up one day?"
The guy asked me.

⇒ This guy is very straightforward.

"I don't know, I don't know you that well."
I said to the guy.

"Yet. You don't know me yet but I we
will know each other later on."
The guy said to me.

"Touché ."
I said to the guy.

"😂😂."
The guy texted to me.

"I didn't get your name, your bio doesn't
say it."
I said to the guy.

"My name is Jay."
The guy said to me.

"Why would you hide a name like Jay?"
I asked the guy.

"It's a privacy reason, I only tell the
people I chat to my name."
Jay said to me.

"Oh, very smart."
I said to Jay.

⇒ Jay and I continued to chat to each other and he's a very nice guy.

{ THE NEXT DAY }

⇒ I fell asleep at 6:00am because Jay and I were chatting nonsense last night.

dp's mom - "Delphine ! réveille-toi, tu as l'école !" (Delphine! Wake up, you have school!) My mom yelled from downstairs.

⇒ I woke up from my mom's sudden yelling and sighed. I was so tired to even get out of bed. I heard my phone ring and I immediately opened my eyes. I grabbed my phone from my night stand and checked to see if it was Jay....and it was!

dp's dad - "Delphine ! dépêchez-vous ou votre petit-déjeuner va devenir froid !" (Delphine! Hurry up or your breakfast will get cold!) My dad yelled from downstairs.

⇒ I gave Jay a quick text telling him good morning.

⇒ I got out of bed and took a shower.

⇒ I got out of the shower and changed into this:

⇒ I didn't have time to put on makeup and I styled the outfit with my white shoes and white socks.

⇒ I headed downstairs and walked in the dining room.

dp's mom - "Qu'est-ce qui t'a pris autant de temps?" (What took you so long?) My mom asked me.

delphine - "I had to shower and change." I said to my mom.

dp's dad - "Your food is probably cold." My dad said to me.

delphine - "I'm going to put it in the microwave." I said to my parents.

dp's mom - "Microwaved breakfast food? c'est dégoutant (It's disgusting) My mom said to me.

delphine - "Well, I don't want to eat it cold." I said to my mom.

dp's dad - "passe-le au micro-ondes" (Put it in the microwave) My dad said to me.

delphine - "I will." I said to my dad.

{ TIME SKIPS }

⇒ My mom was right. Microwaved breakfast food doesn't taste right. I didn't eat most of my breakfast so I grabbed a banana and an apple juice carton. I kissed both of my parents on the cheeks and left the house. Anna was going to pick me up today.

{ DURING THE DRIVE }

annalise - "You have been glued on your phone ever since you came in the car, what's going on?" She asked me.

delphine - "N-nothing, just checking my emails." I said to Annalise.

⇒ I couldn't stop smiling because of what Jay was texting me.

annalise - "Emails make you smile?" She asked me.

delphine - "What was that?" I asked Annalise while looking up from my phone.

annalise - "You smiling and giggling at your phone, I'm curious of what's making you feel like that." She said to me.

delphine - "Fine, I met a guy on a dating app." I said to Annalise.

⇒ Annalise stomped on the brake pedal making the car stop. She suddenly stomped on the brakes, that my phone dropped out of my hand.

delphine - "Es-tu fou?!" (Are you crazy?!) Why did you step on the brakes so suddenly?" I asked Annalise dumbfounded.

annalise - "You're on a dating app? When did this happen?" She asked me dumbfounded.

delphine - "I left my phone at my house yesterday and my mom downloaded a dating app on my phone." I said to Annalise.

annalise - "Your mom did it? That's not shocking to hear but you are actually using it to chat to a guy?" She asked me.

delphine - "I-I was just curious about how this guy is and he's actually very funny and cute." I said to Annalise.

annalise - "Are you being serious, Delphine? I need to tell Nalerie and Jin about this." She said to me.

delphine - "Please don't tell Nalerie or Jin, when they find out I'm talking to a guy, they will ask so much questions, can it be a secret between the both of us?" I asked Annalise.

annalise - "They will probably find out because you are always glued to your phone, you know out of all 4 of us, Nalerie and Jin are the most curious ones." She said to me.

⇒ I sighed.

delphine - "Fine, I will tell them myself when we get to school." I said to Annalise.

{ 2 HOUR AGO }
{ JIRO'S POV }

⇒ I came out of the shower into my room and I was searching for my phone. I looked everywhere for it and it wasn't in my room. I ran downstairs to ask my family if they seen it.

jiro - "엄마, 내 휴대폰 못 보셨나요?" (Mom, have you seen my phone?) I asked my mom.

jr's mom - "아니, 네 방에서 찾았어?" (No, did you find it in your room?) My mom asked me.

jiro - "아니, 내 전화기가 내 방에 없어" (No, my phone isn't in my room) I said to my mom.

jr's grandma - "좋은 아침이에요" (Good morning) My grandmother said coming out of her room.

jiro - "할머니, 제 전화기 보셨나요?" (Grandma, have you seen my phone?) I asked my grandmother.

jr's grandma - "아냐 미안해" (No, I'm sorry) My grandmother said to me.

jr's grandpa - "지로야, 네 아빠가 네 휴대폰을 가지고 있어" (Jiro, your dad has your phone) My grandfather said to me coming in the living room.

jiro - "그 사람은 어디 있어?" (Where is he?) I asked my grandfather.

jr's grandpa - "그 사람은 밖에 있어요" (He's outside) My grandfather said to me.

jiro - "감사합니다" (Thank you) I said to my grandfather.

⇒ I left out of the house and checked around to find my dad. My dad was in the backyard on my phone.

jiro - "お父さん、なぜ私の携帯電話を持っているの？" (Dad, why do you have my phone?) I asked my dad walking to him.

jr's dad - "次郎！" (Jiro!) My dad said to me dumbfounded while getting up from his seat.

jiro - "なぜ私の電話を持っているのですか？" (Why do you have my phone?) I asked my dad.

jr's dad - "あなたのための人を見つけました" (Found the person for you) My dad said to me.

jiro - "あなたは何について話しているのですか？" (What are you talking about?) I asked my dad.

jr's dad - "出会い系アプリで誰かとチャットしています" (Chatting with someone on a dating app) My dad said to me.

jiro - "何？！" (What?!) I asked my dad dumbfounded.

⇒ I grabbed my phone from my dad's hands and saw the conversation he was having with someone that he matched me with.

jiro - "お父さん、これは何ですか？" (Dad, what's this?) I asked my dad.

jr's dad - "それが会話です、私は彼女にあなたのことについてたくさん話しました" (That's the conversation, I told her a lot about you) My dad said to me.

jr's dad - "そして何だと思いますか？" (And guess what?) My dad asked me.

jiro - "どうしたの？" (What happened?) I asked my dad.

jr's dad - "彼女はデルフィン、店の女の子です" (She's Delphine, the store girl) My dad said to me.

⇒ I was dumbfounded. I was so embarrassed because I go to the same school with her and we have the same class. How am I supposed to face her now?
