Chapter Thirty Five - A Nuclear Missile

"The problem we have with tracking Cipher is there's nothing to trace" Ramsey told everyone "But now we have Rhode's information"

"And we're getting snapshots of his data before it's scrubbed off the net" Tej added.

Roman then began to mumble "That looks like somebody's bank account, so why don't we just go ahead and-"

"Rome, I love you and all but can you just shut up for a second and, it's longitude" Brian cut him off.

"So given the fact that Saph hit a Russian motorcade, it's safe to say it's Russia so bring up the map and let's run the possibilities" Dom told Ramsey and Tej.

"Yalta, Poltava" Tej frowned "Looks like they just threw letters together. Konyurt"

"It's Vladupi" Mr Nobody corrected, scaring Roman as the man just appeared out of nowhere again.

"What are you doing here?" Little Nobody asked, slightly annoyed.

"Thought I would check in on you from time to time, to see how you're doing. By the way, not so hot" Mr Nobody said.

Ramsey looked over at Mr Nobody "But there's nothing in Vadovin. It's just ice"

"That's funny. Could've sworn there was a secret Russian naval base with the retrophilic cold war submarines. Well, technically, its not Russian anymore. Base was taken by a terror group of military separatists about a month ago, and the Russian's have yet to take it back. So, there is a little window of opportunity here" Mr Nobody replied.

"Russian submarines, nuclear football" Roman went on "It sounds like everything we do, our legs are gonna be blown off "

"It sounds like you still number eleven on the list"
Tej retorted.

Roman sent him a glare "It sounds like you've changed since your little punk ass facial hairs came in"

"Can you two just go a day without arguing?" Letty asked, an amusing expression on her face.

Little Nobody gained everyone's attention "Guys, guys. We gotta call this in, all the way up the chain"

"That's good thinking, champ" Mr Nobody walked over to him "Except unfortunately, the Russian Minister of Defence got himself involved in a little incident of US territory and the two governments aren't talking to each other for a while. By the time they do, it'll be too late. So, any other suggestions?"

"Well like Saph would say, let's just stop them ourselves" Letty spoke again.

"You're talking about a Russian military base" Little Nobody looked at everyone like they were crazy.

"Separatist" Mr Nobody quickly corrected him.

"Whatever" The trainee kid looked over at him "It's suicide"

"And stopping World War three. So what's it gonna be rook? You gonna close your eyes on this one too? Pray that the apocalypse doesn't come knocking on your mama's front door?" Hobbs asked.

"Or are you gonna saddle up, be a man and save the entire goddamn world?" Brian finished as he leant against the railing of the stairs.

"You know, I think I figured it out. Rule number three" Little Nobody said before grabbing a crowbar, a smirk making its way onto his face.

"Which is?" Mr Nobody asked.

"There are no rules" He smiled and smashed the glass that held all the keys for the cars in the toy shop.

"What did I tell you, Luke? I knew he'd get it in three"

"Aerial transport leaves in an hour. Take whatever vehicle you want, all bets are off " Little Nobody informed.

"All bets are off?" Tej and Roman sprung from their seats.

"Bets are off?" Roman repeated.

Brian couldn't help but chuckle at how excited Tej and Roman were "Why my sister's marrying you Tej, I really don't know"

Tej gave him the middle finger in response "It's a tank man! You know if Saph was here, she'd be just as excited as I am right now"

Mr Nobody smiled "Do Svidanya!" He shouted in Russian before walking away.

"Well, let's go get our girl back" Letty smiled as everyone departed to their cars.

VLADOVIN, RUSSIA

The team was shivering as they were all crouched behind a snow back which overlooked the military base. Hobbs was beside Tej and Brian with Little Nobody on the other side of Brian while Dom, Letty, Roman and Ramsey were sat across from them as Hobbs put his binoculars down for a second and looked over to his left.

"Tej, Brian, I don't like telling you this one bit but the games changed. Before, we were just trying to catch Sapphire, but now, after all this, I want you to know, if I have to, I'm gonna put her down"

"I can't let you do that Hobbs" Brian said as his grip on his gun tightened "Remember, that's my sister you're talking about"

"Brian, you know I don't wanna do it but if I have to. . ."

"Then you might have to take all three of us down" Tej said before looking back into his binoculars and nothing else was said between three until Roman decided to speak up.

"Man, I'm freezing. This is ain't for me, I come from a different kind of lifestyle, brah. Ladies know me. They know where I'm at with it. I tried to take a piss, I ain't even recognise myself "

Tej frowned in disgust as he put the binoculars down and looked over in Roman's direction "Now, that's entirely too much information"

Roman just shrugged like it was no big deal "I'm just saying"

"Well don't" Letty shut him up quite quickly as Dom shook his head and chuckled slightly.

"Well, one thing's for sure. Sapphire's gotta either be working with them or making a trade because no one would be this insane to hit this place without a damn army" Little Nobody commented.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that" Brian smirked as Hobbs sat up slightly and zoomed in on who he thought was Sapphire. And he was correct.

"Speak of the devil"

"Alright, Sapphire, you're one step closer to that family reunion" Cipher said "Prep the EMP, let's take these defences down"

The blonde accelerated and waited until the EMP was fully charged before using the first pulse causing the Russians to lose all their power and the plan was now in motion.

"Gates are open! Let's get this party started" Cipher spoke again as Sapphire drove onto the base glad that her car was bulletproof with the amount of bullets been firing at her in that moment.

"Alright, Saph, you've got one pulse left in that EMP. That sub is heavily insulated. You're gonna need to be right underneath it, for this thing to work" She said after finishing her conversation with her team.

And so the blonde did exactly what she was told and drove underneath the submarine and soon as the EMP hit a hundred, she hit the button and the helicopter that was firing at her started going down from the loss of power.

"Sapphire, we are good! Head over to the Rendezvous"

"Damn!" Tej spoke after a few minutes of silence causing everyone to jump "I think Cipher just rebooted that sub to slave it's command system"

"What the hell is he talking about?" Roman asked as he looked at Ramsey for some answers.

"In Layman's terms, she just carjacked a submarine" Ramsey informed "We can't let it get away. There's the control room. If you can get me into that wheelhouse, I can tap the network and counter back Cipher. Keep it from lowering into the water"

"No" Tej quickly denied "What we need to do is get me on that sub. I find the weapons room and I can pull the launch chip before she can fire any of those nukes"

"Now that is too crazy" Ramsey argued.

"And what you're saying is too dangerous" Tej argued back.

"We'll do both" Dom stated as him, Hobbs, Letty and Ramsey went to the control room while Brian, Tej, Roman and Little Nobody went down into the sub. Getting into their cars as they sped off towards the military base.

"Alright, let's hall ass, team. Double time, double time!" Hobbs yelled out as everyone got out their vehicles.

Tej, Brian, Roman and Little Nobody ran towards the submarine before climbing down the stairs into it as Little Nobody covered them while the others went to the control room.

"Letty, Dom let's roll" Hobbs ran past the two as they were firing at the Russian soldiers.

"They just don't give up do they" Cipher whisper before speaking over to Sapphire "Change of plans, Saph. I'm sending you to the co-ordinates, head there immediately"

But Sapphire denied her request "I'm done. I want my nephew"

"I'll tell you when you're done. Your team is in play, now meet Rhodes and follow my instructions" She ordered and Sapphire had to agree until she new Marcos was safe. Then she could act.

"Move, move! Get out of here, go go!" Letty held her gun up as she yelled causing all the men inside to run out in fear. Dom then slammed the door shut and made sure it was locked before him and Hobbs made their way to the other section of the control room.

"Ok, how do you like this?" Ramsey whispered, sitting down on a chair and started to get to work on her computer "She's regaining control. Damn it, she's good"

"Tell me you're better" Letty said and Ramsey nodded, continuing to type away on her computer before the door was unlocked from the outside and she raised her gun which she now realised was out of bullets as a guy ran over to her. She sighed, knowing this was about to get messy.

"Oh, she's slick. Gonna have to do better than that though" Ramsey mumbled while Letty was fighting every men that came running through the door.

"Ramsey, how much time we talking here?" Letty yelled in between breaths as she was slammed into the glass window behind her.

"She's locked me out. Tej, I can't stop her. Now, you're gonna have to pull that chip"

"I can't! This things going into attack mode" He replied as him and Brian were stuck on the outside of the door with only the small window on the door to see into the room.

"The doors not gonna open until you pull the damn chip!" Brian yelled to Roman and Little Nobody.

"Guys, we got no idea what the hell we're looking for" Roman groaned.

"I got it" Little Nobody said as him and Roman pulled what they thought was the chips and that was until the lights starting flashing and the beeping noises were getting louder.

"What in the hell are you guys doing?!" Tej shouted into his radio while looking at them both through the small window.

"It wasn't me, it wasn't me okay?"

"It'll be labelled guidance go" Brian told them.

"Okay, I got something" Roman announced.

Little Nobody quickly turned around "What?"

"It says, hahacflacslackbacksmokebizakmaclac. Do you understand that?"

"Nuke's going hot. She's trying to fire this thing!" Tej told them over the radio.

"Roger that, we're moving out. Disable the nukes!" Hobbs replied back.

"Roman, what are you seeing? Come on, talk to me man" Little Nobody said, grabbing onto something to keep him steady.

"I don't see shit. I'm holding on!" Roman yelled before picking up his radio "What the hell is goin' on, guys?"

"We're about to launch a nuclear missile, that's what the hell is going on. Pull the damn chip!"

Letty, Dom, Hobbs and Ramsey came running out of the control room and over to their cars when Tej realised something "Countdown, countdown! Look for a countdown!" He shouted into the radio.

"What countdown?!"

"The missile need to activate to launch. Oh and Rome, the countdown timer won't be in Russian" Brian reminded him before Little Nobody spoke.

"I got it!" And that was it before the four made their way out of the sub.

"Move your ass Roman" Little Nobody shouted as he climbed out, Tej and Brian behind him.

"You alright?" Letty asked as they came running towards them.

"There's nothing alright about any of this" Roman exclaimed, running to his car "Let's go!"

"What about the missiles?" Ramsey asked the four.

"We got the chip. No nukes for her" Little Nobody breathed heavily as he held up the chip before fist bumping Hobbs and Dom.

"Hell yeah, let's roll" Hobbs told the team as they all quickly made their way to their cars.

Brian then looked over at Dom "Ride or die?"

Dom nodded "Ride or die"
