BAD

(I had one friend, now there's none)

Ingruentis bellum

(I had a family, now there's none)

HONDURAS HAS NEVER BEEN A REPUTABLE COUNTRY, HOME OF MANY AGGRESSIVE AND DESPICABLE BEINGS. Despite the harsh reality the third world country lived in, there were still beautiful places only a Latin country could give you. Places that resemble home, which is why John Bianchi and EvaLuna Walker decided to lay low while she gave birth to Ramsey. Both being agents and one who formerly worked for an evil organization wasn't easy and everything turned ten times harder when their director Fury informed them that John was being hunted by an assassin.

So both agents looked for a place that could offer them a good hideout and that's when they stumbled upon Honduras. One of the best places in the world to go for a swim but also one of the worst places to live in due to its violence, delinquency and poverty. In the shadows lurked two ghosts, highly trained and deadly. They observed both agents walk hand in hand with their daughter toward their car, the assassins sat quietly, almost peacefully in their black corolla.

The mother and father both gripped their little girl's hand as she grinned happily, she loved the movie her parents took her to watch. Today was her birthday, the brunette girl turned six and her parents had given her the greatest gift she ever desired. That being, spending time in family. The girl understood they had to work in order to give her a nice life, but sometimes they would be away for weeks; even months and the little girl didn't like it.

Ramsey Bianchi didn't like being away from her two protectors at all, but she had to be a tough girl or at least that's what her dad would always tell her to be.

"How did you like your birthday, little moon?" The father asked, he looked down at his only daughter as his heart beat fondly.

"Me encantรณ, papi." The man chuckled. I loved it, daddy.

"Come on, Little moon. Remember what I told you." Ramsey gave her father a sheepish smile.

"John, give the child a break." EvaLuna Walker scolded her husband.

"What? I just love hearing this little moon speak English, she's better than you." John playfully joked with his wife, EvaLuna stuck her tongue at him causing Ramsey to laugh at her parents' playful banter.

"Can I tell you something?" Ramsey spoke up as they arrived at their car, parking lot in Mall Megaplaza was nearly empty since the movie ended pretty late.

"Anything, baby." Her mother encourages.

John let go of his daughter as he searched for the keys to the car, "Well, I know you always tell me to be a tough girl but, I miss being with you."

Ramsey's big brown eyes settled on her mother's face, John's hand movement faltered as he heard his little girl speak. EvaLuna and John shared a quick glance as they waited for their daughter to continue, "And the greatest- uhm, regalo, that you gave me was spending time with me. I missed you."

Ramsey's lip pouted as she tried not to cry, John scooped his princess up in his arm as he gave her a hug. EvaLuna joined in quickly, "Oh honey, we're so sorry we can't spend that much time with you. But we promise we will soon, we'll spend so much time together you'll get sick of us." EvaLuna promised, Ramsey pulled away and they noticed her wet cheeks.

John was quick to clean his daughters' tears before placing a loving kiss on her temple, "No matter what the world throws at us, little moon, we'll always be a family. No matter the distance or the fights, we all live in each other's hearts, forever. The three of us against the world."

"Los amo." Ramsey confessed, the Bianchi's shared one last hug before getting in the car.

The family of three were completely unaware what was going to happen once they left Mall Megaplaza, the assassins waited until they passed by them before following closely.

The odd behavior did not go unnoticed by EvaLuna, her hazel eyes quickly flickered towards the rear view as she noticed the car was too close to theirs for their liking. "John." The agent alerted her husband. The Italian man was quick to catch on what was happening but was too slow to react as the black Corolla car began to gain speed on them before the car slowly started to overtake them. The only difference was that the car's intention wasn't to overtake but to ram them, John narrowed his eyes at the copilot and the man turned his head. He wore a mouth face mask with an all too familiar symbol, John green eyes widened as he stared at the Master of Evil assassin and before he could step on the gas the driver rammed his car against theirs.

Ramsey screamed as the car rolled over, each side of the car slamming hard against the pavement before coming to a halt. John was the first to take action, he ripped his seat belt off and fell on the car's roof. Due to his enhanced powers which made him close to indestructible, he checked on his wife and noticed that the side of her head was bleeding.

"Eve, come on bella, wake up. We have to get out of here." John softly patted his wife cheek, EvaLuna slowly opened her eyes before taking in the scene before her.

"Ramsey..." The woman croaked out, John nodded before helping her get rid of her seatbelt before moving onto his passed out daughter.

Outside of the wrecked car, both assassins began to approach the car, clearly seeing the family had survived but they weren't here for them. They were here for John Bianchi, the traitor, the man who was given everything and still chose to abandon the place that welcomed him. All for a useless, picture-perfect life as a father; what a disgrace. The assassins share a quick nod as they near the upturned car.

"Stay here." John demanded and gave his wife a warning look.

"John, don't you dare leave us here." EvaLuna seethed, but in reality she was scared for her husband's life.

She knew who waited outside, she also knows they came here for her husband and they weren't going to leave without accomplishing their mission.

John cupped her cheeks, staining his hands with her blood and despite all the gore EvaLuna Walker will remain the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes upon. "Listen to me, you have to leave and get somewhere safe. I have to stay behind, you know we couldn't run forever."

"I'm not leaving you behind, I'm not running away John." EvaLuna shook her head in utter disagreement.

John nodded, he pressed his lips against hers for a breath of a second, and took her in for it will be the last time he will get to hold her. He pulled away first and said, "Ti amo, mi amore. Always."

John then darted away from the car, his face was stoic as he positioned himself in front of his opponent. The assassin twirls his katana effortlessly, the sleek metal shinning underneath the moonlight as the assassin took a fighting stance. With the katana aimed at him and before John could sense something being wrong, he heard her voice. EvaLuna' s shout which caused John to twirl as he witnesses how his wife had jumped in front of him. Preventing the second assassin to stab his heart, the blade piercing EvaLuna right in the heart as John caught the falling body of his wife.

John stared in utter rage at the assassin and without hesitation he summoned his ergo kinetic and created a weapon of his desire, which was a katana as he stabs the assassin who dared kill his wife. The assassin grunted painfully, his knees buckled as he fell on the floor while holding his chest, while the ergo kinetic weapon vanished into thin air.

John watches the man gurgle on his own blood, despite vengeance being sweet it always leaves a bitter feeling as he felt a cold metal being pressed against his throat.

"That was my brother you killed." The man spat as he pressed the katana harshly against John's throat.

"Really? How rich." John chuckles darkly.

"I reckon you have a daughter on board." John's blood ran cold at the mention of his Little moon. "Such a beautiful girl, I'm sure master will find great use for her back at the academy. Remember how it used to be?"

"Don't you dare! This is between you and me! You took my wife already, leave my child be, please." John begged.

"DO BETTER! I don't need your begging; I want you to fight!" The man yelled as he slowly started to cut his throat causing John to summon the blade and stab the man on the side, expecting a choking sound or just pure blood but neither came. In its place came a laugh, a sardonic and mocking laugh.

The six-year-old stirs away, the horrible smell of gasoline hitting her nostrils as she opened her eyes abruptly. Ramsey sits up but freezes once she notices her father screams, he was begging. Ramsey cautiously leaned over a shattered window and noticed that a blond man held her father from behind, a long sword like the one's she sees on movies was firmly pressed against his throat.

The little girl's eyes widen when she notices blood starting to come out of the huge cut, without thinking Ramsey let out a high pitch screamed as she scurried out of the car and directly toward her father who eyes were wide with terror.

"PAPI!" The little girl screams, her eyes matching her father's terrified look.

"Ramsey, no!" Her father warns, the assassin smirked beneath the face mask and in a quick motion he drag the blade of the katana across John's throat. The man let out a gurgling sound as blood oozed out of the open flesh, John attempted to stop the bleeding by placing both of his hands against his throat.

The assassin looks at the girl who cries over her dying father and already dead mother, he takes off his mask and bends over the kid. "Sh, sh, don't cry over this worthless piece of trash. I promise you I will take good care of you."

"No. What did you do to my dad?" The girl whimpered.

"I killed him. It needed to be done." The man calmly stated. "Now come, master will be very happy to see you." He went to grab her arm but Ramsey moved her arm and quickly wrapped her short arms around her pale father whose eyes seemed far away.

"I'm staying with daddy, someone has to look out for them." Ramsey cried harder, her little heart unable to fathom what had happened, she only knew that this time her parents were gone for good.

Without her realizing it, the assassin took out a smaller blade and was about to stab the girl but the knife never reached her skin. Instead it hit something hard, the man furrowed his eyes and tried again before realizing that the child was enhanced. Ramsey was oblivious to all of this as she cried against her father's unmoving chest, big fat tears trailing down her cheeks for the second time this night; the difference being, that these were sad tears.

Shocked, the assassin stood up and in seconds the car sped beside Ramsey as he left.

The girl laid there, between her dead parents as she remembered her father's last words before everything went downhill, a single tear rolled down her cheek as she mumbled them out loud.

No matter what the world throws at us, Little moon, we'll always be a family. No matter the distance or the fights, we all live in each other's heart, forever. The three of us against the world.
