Epilogue 1

Surprise!!! Welcome to the epilogue chapter of Little demon. Since the last chapter was kinda rushed, let's make up for it with the epilogues alright? Enjoy!!

~~~~~
At the far corner of the class was a young man sitting in all his glory, completely uninterested in whatever was happening inside the lecture room. He looked undeniably attractive wearing a black cotton inner shirt with his white sleeves thrown over it and unbuttoned all the way down. His blonde hair ended in a mullet which also did well in complimenting his handsomely toned features.
He had headphones plugged in, listening to music and totally ignoring whatever was going on around him. He even ignored the ladies who wouldn't stop talking excitedly about his charming appearance.
"Venice, can we have lunch together after class?" A young lady shyly asked the handsome young man.
Venice noticed the new presence, took out the headphones and looked up at the lady, a smirk appearing against his lips. "Not interested." He said simply and went back to his business.
The lady who felt greatly offended by the young man's attitude shot him a glare before storming off. The mafia heir was just who he was. He's always minding his business and did not like engaging much.
Class finally ended for the day and Venice impatiently made his way out. Walking to the parking lot, a young man leaned against the motorbike, grinning at his older cousin who looked at him with indifference. Both were now in University with Venice still a year ahead of Phoenix.
"Loosen up a bit bro, you look too serious, jeez, you'll literally scare off all the cute ladies." Phoenix teased,Β  a wide smile gracing his lips.
"What the hell are you on about?" Venice grumbled in his deepest voice.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. You're 19 already, you won't get a lover at this point if you keep this attitude up!"
"Not interested." The mafia heir spat out as he climbed on his motorbike.
The 18-year-old Phoenix shook his head in frustration. "You're really cold. Just like your dad." He scoffed.
Venice having enough of his cousin's constant shattering spoke in a domineering tone that could send chills down anyone's spine. "Get on the bike or I leave you here."
"Fine!" Phoenix glared hard while putting on his helmet. "You're no fun." He held on tight to his cousin and they hit the road in no time.
Meanwhile, Pete sat in the courtyard together with his husband while chatting about random stuff. Vegas still had his charm intact even after all these years and Pete couldn't help but still drool over him.
"I know I'm very attractive but can you stop staring like you want to eat me up?" The shameless mafia teased.
"It's bad to admire what's mine? Stop being shameless Vegas!"
Vegas smirked as he moved closer to Pete, "I can kiss you now if you want." He brought his hand up to gently caress Pete's face. Without further warning, connected their lips into a soft kiss.
Pete wholeheartedly welcomed the kiss he's been craving all day. He wrapped his arms around Vegas' neck, drowning himself in the passionate moment until...
"Jeez, get a room! Doing this out here in the open?" Venice interrupted his parents while covering the eyes of his little sister, Valerie, a daughter the couple had through surrogacy, usingΒ  Pete's sperm.
"Ahhh Hia! Why are you covering my eyes? I can't see, it's dark!" The 6-year-old girl screamed at her brother.
Vegas pulled back and quickly got to his feet. "How dare you interrupt my moment? Want me to teach you a lesson?"
Venice grinned while handing Valerie over to Pete, the young girl excitedly hugging her Pa quickly and kissing him all over the face. "I've been looking for you all over!" She pouts.
"So sorry pumpkin." Pete apologized while kissing her face nonstop, Valerie giggling at the action.
"Pa, why do you call her that? I'm supposed to be your pumpkin, not her." Venice frowned. The mafia heir who appeared cold and unapproachable to the outside world was getting jealous suddenly of his little sister.
Vegas stared at his son, scrutinizing every part of him, and felt proud of his handiwork. A faint smile played on his lips which Venice noticed but Vegas quickly switched to his stern face. "Why the hell are you returning home so late?" He crossed his arm over his chest as he kept gawking at his little boy who was now an adult.
"Dad, I had to take Pheonix to the main mansion so of course, I'll be late," Venice replied.
Vegas scoffed at the answer. "How many years has it been since you've been doing this? Can't he get himself home? Why does my son have to act like a bodyguard?"
"But dad..." He was quickly cut off.
"Let me not see you babysitting that brat anymore," Vegas grumbled.
If petty was ever human then that would be Vegas. After all these years, he still hated the idea of Venice meeting his uncle Kinn at the main house.
"You're always petty dad, it's no surprise Phoenix doesn't like you much," Venice mumbled.
Valerie kept tugging on Vegas' shirt, in hopes of getting his attention but Vegas was too focused on Venice to notice.
"Did you just say I'm petty? You've grown really well, buddy, even calling your own dad petty? Because of that annoying Kinn and his family?" He lunged, at his son, getting him in a chokehold.
Venice struggled so hard to be free but the grip his old man had on him was too strong. "What the hell dad, do you want to kill me?" Venice yelled.
"You're so tough when you're outside but can't even free yourself from me? Useless. I'll be seizing your bike if you do not free yourself in a minute." Vegas kept squeezing without mercy. "Free yourself, brat."
"I'm no brat... trust me, dad... I don't want to hurt you." Venice stuttered out.
"Hurt me? You can't take me on, buddy, you're a little bug I could crash with my fingers."
Pete stood to his feet with Valerie still in his arms." What the hell are you doing, Vegas? Let go of my boy!"
"Stay out of this baby, I will not raise a weak son."
Venice wanted to go easy on his dad at first but not anymore. He was no weak kid. He crushed his elbow hard into Vegas' rib and broke free. Without warning, grabbed a hold of his dad and hauled him onto the floor with a loud thud.
Vegas groaned at the pain that sprung up his body. Venice climbed on top of him and smirked. "This is me going easy on you dad, I'll really break your bones next time."
Pete couldn't hold back his laugh as he watched Vegas' ass being kicked by his own son. "You sure didn't raise a weak kid, honey."
"Hia! Why would you do that to daddy? Get off of him!" The girl yelled angrily at her brother.Β
Venice quickly got off his dad, while glaring hard at the little nuisance. Vegas winked at Valerie. "Protecting me from your evil brother, huh? Come here." Vegas got himself off the ground and took Valerie into his arms. She quickly wrapped her arms around her dad protectively.
"Who's the cutest?" Vegas asked sweetly.
"Valerie!" She stated excitedly while kissing Vegas' cheeks.
Venice couldn't stomach the sight and disgustingly looked away. "Keep lying to yourself." He mumbled under his breath but not inaudible for Pete to not hear.
"You claim your dad is petty when you're worse? Jealous?" Pete searched his face. "You're not too old to ask for kisses too, right?"
"Ew, Pa! Too old for that." Venice turned to walk away but Pete pulled him back and landed a kiss on his cheek. Venice felt so embarrassed with all the guards around but the feeling was great. "I'm not a baby anymore, Pa. I'm off to my room."
"Not until you kiss me back," Pete announced.
Venice just wanted the earth to swallow him up. He was beyond embarrassed. He knew his uncle Nop who was currently staring wouldn't seize the opportunity to tease him and knowing Pete, he would never let it go if he didn't do his bidding. Finally giving up, he kissed his Pa hard on the cheeks.
"Satisfied now?" He sighed in defeat.
"Of course baby," Pete smiled brightly, showing off his dimples.
Venice turned to walk away but Vegas stopped him abruptly. "Aren't you too biased? He gets a kiss and I don't?" He questionably raised a brow.
"Dad, why don't you get a kiss from the little devil in your arms?"
"I'm no devil!" Valerie shot her brother lasers.
Vegas laughed. "Jealous of your little sister?"
"No way in hell and I'm not doing as you asked. Not after you almost killed me." He walked away from them as fast as he could.
Macau leaned against the wall as Venice approached. "How about me?" He teased.
Venice was really tired of this. "P'Macau, what's up with everyone in this house? Are you all kiss freaks or something?"
"How old are you again, 19? Kiddo, you think you're old? You're still a little baby in this house. Isn't that right, Nop?" Macau turned to the chief guard who was trying so hard to hold back his laugh.
"19 isn't old, he's still a little boy," Nop replied teasingly.
"I took down my dad minutes ago and you still think I'm little?" Venice scoffed and walked away from them. He's had enough for the day.
The next day
"Sweet nephew!" Tankhun screamed so loud it could render everyone deaf in an instant.
Vegas turned in the direction the sudden noise came from and was met with everyone from the main house. He couldn't believe his eyes. He never gave them an invitation so what the hell were they all doing here?
"Why are you all here? What's the occasion?" Vegas asked with surprise written all over his face.
"Oooii! Loosen up Vegas, Pete invited us over for lunch." Tankhun hurried over to Venice with Pheonix trailing behind.
Chay excitedly goes to Macau to catch up on the days they've not seen each other while Kim headed over to the couch, making himself feel at home.
Porsche on the other hand walked their twin girls Phoebe and Paris over to the spot Valerie was playing with her toys. She beamed with excitement when she laid eyes on her cousins. The twins couldn't hide their excitement either. Both run to hug Valerie, giggling and goofing around.
Porsche after settling his girls in, joined Pete in the kitchen while Kinn stood face to face with Vegas, his hands shoved inside his pockets while grinning at his cousin.
"You should be happy we're gracing your home with our presence. What's with the pissed-off face?" Kinn taunted.
"Fuck off, Kinn. You can all go back to where you came from."
Kinn laughed. "What fun would that be if I leave now? I'm looking forward to pissing you off more since it's been a while since I did that." Kinn patted Vegas on the shoulder and headed in Kim's direction.
Vegas sighed frustratingly. All he wanted was a peaceful weekend with his family but looks like that wouldn't be the case.
It's been a very long the minor family had so many people at the dinner table. Tanhkun took his spot between Venice and Pheonix, constantly trying to get on their nerves. Pete and Porsche kept the girls closer to them while Macau and Chay sat opposite each other, still talking about random stuff. Kim was his usual quiet self while Vegas wouldn't stop glaring at Kinn.
"So tell me, sweet nephew, are you dating anyone yet?" Tankhun curiosity asked Venice who choked on the water he was drinking.
Vegas raised an eyebrow, wondering why his cousin would ask his son such a silly question. "He's not ready for that." He said coldly.
"Why are you speaking for him? I asked Venice and not you!" Tanhkun came at Vegas. "Answer me, Venice."
Venice was not expecting such a question but decided to answer anyways. "No one." He replied simply.
Tankhun scoffed. "You're old enough to date, do you want me to introduce you to someone?" He beamed excitedly.
"Don't be nosy uncle," Phoenix said.
"Shut up, you little brat." Tankhun glared.
Pete and Porsche were too invested in feeding the girls and barely paid attention to the conversation. Vegas rolled his head back in annoyance while staring at his elder cousin. Tankhun did not look like he would give up anytime soon. On impulse, Vegas banged his fist hard on the table, startling everyone.
"What the hell Vegas!" Kinn spat.
"I already said he's not ready for such a thing, and even if he's ready, whoever they may be would have to pass by my gun first," Vegas said in a serious tone. Venice sighed at his dad's words.
Tankhun snapped. "It's been years already and you're still overprotective? You're unbelievable." He now fixated his gaze on Pheonix, "What about you? You got a lover?"
"Uncle I don't..." Phoenix was quickly cut off.
"He dares not," Kinn spoke in a domineering tone, putting a piece of meat in his mouth.
Everyone watched in disbelief except Kim. Macau decided to speak first. "Are you both for real? What's wrong if they do? They both are 18 and 19 respectively. They are basically adults, jeez!"
"What are you both going to do if they fall for an enemy?" Chay asked curiously.
"A bullet will greet their skull then," Vegas said casually like killing someone was no big deal.
Kinn smiled at Vegas. "We think alike cousin, it wouldn't be a simple death. I'll make them suffer painfully before sending them off."
"I'll gladly lend you my hands if you want. No one should dare fall for an enemy." Kim who had been quiet all this time finally speaks and it was just to make matters worse.
Pete and Porsche finally had enough. "Are you all insane? I'm trying to feed my child here, what's up with talking about murder?" Pete pointed the fork angrily at Vegas. "Want me to gawk your eyes out?"
"And you Kinn, stop being overprotective already. It's getting tiring. One more word from you and you'll really get it from me." Porsche threatened.
Venice and Pheonix smiled at both Pete and Porsche. As usual, they were the only ones who could harshly scold their dads and get them quiet. They both stood to their feet, ready to head out.
"And where do punks think you're going?" Chay asked curiously.
Venice shrugged, "Going for an afternoon ride. We're both done listening to you old men get worked up over the smallest things."
"I think we should start searching our enemy's base for our soulmates, don't you think? I'd like to see them get more worked up than they already are." Phoenix laughed.
"What are we waiting for? Let's get to it already. It's going to be a long day searching for our soulmates who are literally mortal enemies to our parents." Venice hauled Phoenix out of the house, ignoring their angry dads.
Vegas and Kinn couldn't believe what they just heard. "Come back here brats!" Vegas spat out but the boys wouldn't spare them a glance.
"Both of you are in deep trouble when you return," Kinn added.
"You old men should just shut up already. I was thinking of having fun with my nephews but you had to make them leave!" Tankhun said irritably. "Maybe I should play with the girls?" He smiled widely at the girls.
Minutes passed and Vegas still felt uneasy. He just couldn't shake off the feeling. Venice was too daring of late and he was sure he would have to really put a bullet into an enemy's head. Kinn wasn't any different. They just couldn't do away with the feeling.
