I say looking at his bloody face, before I could do anything he ran off again. I continued walking into the living where I hear people chanting

"Poop! Poop! Poop!" They chanted as ruby went into the living room

"Okay! What's in the poop diaper?" Ruby asked

"Reese's Peanut Butter Cups" Mr. Martinez says

Ruby makes a buzzing sound saying his father was wrong

"Butterfinger!" Abeulita says

"Ah! Ding, ding, ding!" Ruby says lifting up his grandmothers hand momentary as everyone clapped "You know, in my day, we didn't use candy bars for this game" Abeulita says

"Oh, no, we didn't. Ah!" Mrs. Martinez says before falling onto the ground

"Ma!" Ruby says running to his mom, I followed him "Ma!" Ruby says helping her up as I helped

"Have you been drinking?" He asked as she struggled getting up

"Yes" she answered

"No" she answered

"Maybe" She says getting up, "How many drinks have you had?" Ruby asked

"I don't know!...Two... or three" she giggles

"Or seven!" She slurs

"You need to eat something" Ruby says

"Oh, I ate something!" She says getting in Ruby's face "oh my god" I say putting my hand over my mouth, "I ate the cake" she says as her entire mouth was dyed blue

"Shh! Shh, shh, shh! Don't worry. I'm not gonna tell you the gender. You are gonna have to wait two more months" She whispered, "We need to clean you up before Amber sees this" Ruby says

"Where's Amber?" Ruby asked and I shrugged my shoulders, I've have never met the girl before "Um...Ooh" Ruby says as another little kid walks up to us with a bloody face, "Okay. No. That's it. No more kids in the bouncy" Ruby announced as the little goes the other direction

"Woo-hoo! That means it's adult time at the bouncy!—Wepa!" Mrs. Martinez celebrates before going in the backyard and I followed her outside

She gets on the bouncy house as the last of kids gets off, I stand next to Mario as Mrs. Martinez began jumping on the bouncy house he makes a questionable look as she mom jumps crazily "oh— um she's a little drunk" I say

"A little?" he asked before sipping his drink, it became quiet between us despite Mrs. Martinez laughing "I wanna apologize the last time— we saw each other, I shouldn't have made you felt so unwelcome" he says

"I accept your apology and it's alright— I didn't think Oscar was the dating type either" I say. "Jo! Jo!— look what I can do!" Mrs. Martinez says as she starts doing tricks "Wow— she's really flexible" I say, as Mario and I watched her "Mario! Are you watching?" She asked

"I'm watching mom" he says

As a few minutes past Jamal comes outside and gets on the bouncy house as Mrs. Martinez and Jamal bounced together Jamal starts to bounce a little high, "hey Jamal— be careful she's a little wasted" Mario says, "careful?— Ha! careful is my middle name!" Jamal says

"Hey Jamal! Watch This!" Mrs. Martinez says as she does a flip and ended up kicking Jamal in the eye, "ooh!" Mario and I winced as Jamal falls from his standing position "help me get him out" Mario says, "oh my gosh— Jamal! I'm so sorry!" Mrs. Martinez says

Mario gets in the bouncy house and helps Jamal out, Mario and I walked back inside with Jamal's arms on our shoulders with Mrs. Martinez following in behind us "I am so sorry I kicked you—I forget how flexible I am" Mrs. Martinez says

"Okay, party's over. Everybody, out!" Ruby yells

"Wait. Wait, what's happening?" Mario asked

"Amber's having the baby!" Monse says running out of the room

"Like now?" I asked

"What?"

"Hold on" Mario says tossing Jamal to Cesar before running off, "Babe, I'm coming!" He says

"Who's Amber?" A women asked

"Do we still get paid for the whole night if we leave early?" A man asked

"Who are these people?" Monse asked

"Extras—What? She didn't have any friends or family, so I had to improvise, Fifty bucks plus food isn't a bad gig" Ruby says as he start giving out money to the people

"Where'd you get that money?" Cesar asked

"I know those bills. What the hell are you doing?" Jamal asked, "Using against my 25%. It's permitted in the bylaws.

"There are no bylaws!" Jamal says

"There are bylaws!" Ruby argues

"Give me this!" Jamal says trying to snatch the money from Ruby, but the four of them ended up fighting instead, Mrs. Martinez walks out "An ambulance is on its way, The baby is coming now—Everyone needs to pray" she shouts

I followed her into the room where Jasmine, Mrs Martinez, Mario and I presume Amber are. "Jo take her hand!" Jasmine says, I do what I'm told I sat by her side and held her hand, Abuelita comes in with towels

As time passes Amber's screams become louder as my hand starts to hurt since she's squeezing it so hard, "I can't do this!" Amber yells

"You got this, mama! Just...... smell the flowers...... blow out the candle" Jasmine says demonstrating, "Smell the flowers, blow out the candle" Jasmine says as Amber breaths in and out,

"Tequila! Tequila, Abuelita!" Mr. Martinez says coming in with alcohol, he tries to give it to Amber but Jasmine snatched it out of his hand and taking a big gulp, "I know we're still getting to know each other,but we're gonna make this work—Okay, I'll be here to take care of you and the baby" Mario says

"Me too" Amber says

"Me three! You're part of our family now" Mrs. Martinez says

"Why are your teeth blue?" Amber asked, Mario eyes widen as he realized "I'm gonna be a father!" he shouted

"Can we cut the chitchat, people? We got a log coming down the chute" Jasmine says, as a couple more minutes past I literally cannot feel my hand from Amber squeezing it so hard "Am I pooping? Am I pooping?" Amber asked

"No, no, honey! No! No!" Jasmine reassured her

"Tengo mucha caca. Give me a bedpan." Jasmine says

"How about a salad bowl?" Abuelita asked

"Okay, When did we have corn?" Jasmine asked

"Wait—Something's wrong" Jasmine says before Amber screams

Then a couple more minutes has passed and the pain to my hand has stopped and baby cries filled the air, Jasmine quickly wrapped him in a blanket, Mario and Mrs. Martinez walked over to Jasmine to see the baby while I stayed by Amber's side

"Can I see him? What does he look like?" Amber asked, I noticed how all of them had strange facial expression as they looked at the baby, I got up and went nest to Mario to see the baby "oh" I say surprised

He looks just like Amber...Just nothing like Mario

"Hmm" Jasmine hummed

"Yes!" Mrs. Martinez cheered

The ambulance took Amber and her baby to the hospital, right now everyone is sitting in the living room eating cake, I'm waiting for Oscar to come and put me up with some cake in my hand

"Oh, I'm not gonna lie, This cake is good!" Ruby says

"It just should have been chocolate" Jamal says making everyone laugh

"Too soon, man" Mario says

"Mario...I want you to know that if that beautiful baby was yours, I would've loved it....But, whoo! Thank God you're not going to be a daddy just yet" Mrs, Martinez says as I leave out the front door and walk to Oscar's car, I open the door and get in before closing it right behind me

"How was it?" He asked

"very eventful" I say

"I saw the ambulance, is everything okay?" He asked

"Yeah, Amber had her baby" I say

"Really?" He asked

I nod "yeah— it's just" I say

"what?" he asked

"it's not Mario's" I say making Oscar laugh as he starts to drive
