It was a mistake

Suyeong was still asleep when Seo-jun opened his eyes. The first view that came into his eyes, is Suyeong's face. He slightly widened his eyes, noticing how close their faces is as he quickly sat back up

His elbow collided with the desk, making it moved a bit as he quickly stabilize the desk, not wanting to wake her up because of his sudden movement. He quickly looked around the class, no students were inside except them

He checked his watch, sighing as it was lunchtime already. He turned his gaze to her face, unconsciously forming a small smile on his face as he texted his friends

Suyeong on the other hand, slowly opened her eyes and sat back up when she realized that the classroom was empty. She looked on her right only to see Seo-jun's gaze on her with a smirk

"Did you have a good sleep?"

She frowned

"Where's everyone?"

"It's lunchtime"

She nodded in realization, checking her watch as she frowned again

"Why didn't they wake me up?"

"Because of this"

He showed her his phone as she widened her eyes when she saw a photo of them sleeping with their faces facing together on a website. She groaned and slammed her head on the desk, not wanting to believe that it was real

"I didn't even know that there is such website in this school"

She whined, earning a chuckle from him

"Why? Aren't you thrilled to have a dating rumor with the hottest student in Saebom High, Han Seo-jun?"

She glared at him as he shrugged his shoulder with a small smile

"Thrilled my foot. I'd rather die. What should I do now? I've never gotten myself into these kind of rumors at my old school"

She whined again, running her hands through her hair harshly as Seo-jun sighed. He took out his phone, texting someone again as Suyeong continued to whine about how she'd rather fail the class than getting herself involved in rumors

"Han Seo-jun! Why aren't you at the canteen? We waited for you"

Chorong said with an offended tone, earning a scold from Seo-jun

"Shut it. Did you bring it?"

"Of course"

Suyeong kept her head on the table, not wanting to see who it is as she muffled out their voices. Minutes after, she felt her shoulder being poked

"What?"

She asked, not moving a bit as Seo-jun sighed

"Get up and eat this"

She rolled her eyes and got up, only to see him organizing some snacks that can be bought at their school's canteen

"Did you buy this?"

"Yes. No need to thank me or cry on how generous I am"

He said smugly, earning a weirded out look from Suyeong as he cleared his throat

"Just eat. I highly doubt that you're going to have lunch right now while the photo of us is spreading around"

She glared at him, grabbing a chocolate stick nonetheless as he stifled his laugh

"I'm going to my friends. Make sure to finish all of them, okay?"

"All of them?"

He nodded as she widened her eyes at the sight of a mountain of snacks that as he ran out of the classroom to avoid getting yelled at by her. She sighed again

"Is he pulling a prank on me or what? That jerk. I should avoid him from now on"

She muttered, looking at the snacks as she cursed him silently

"Did you find the webmaster?"

Seo-jun asked as Chorong nodded. He took out the cheese cracker out of his mouth as he clicked on a profile

"She posted it an hour ago"

"Really? Can you do it?"

"You mean, delete the post?"

Seo-jun nodded

"Just a moment. You are about to see the power of the mighty Kim Chorong"

Chorong replied as he started to type something on the screen. He texted the girl to delete the post or he would get the police involved. Seo-jun scoffed at how dramatic and unbelievable he is

Minutes after, the post disappeared

"Done"

"I didn't even know that would work. Even though you're dramatic as hell, you did a great job"

Seo-jun smiled, tapping his shoulder as if he was proud of him

"By the way, why did you want to delete the post? I thought you'd love the attention and wasn't bothered by it. You got tons of this kind of rumors before"

He looked at the computer screen where the photo of him and Suyeong just got deleted

"Suyeong hated the attention. Why would I be happy if she dislike it? I don't really like rumors about me anyways"

Chorong smirked, nudging him with his shoulder harshly

"Han Seo-jun is in love!"

He widened his eyes at his friend's words, slapping his hand on his mouth as the boy groaned

"Hey-"

"Shut up! What nonsense are you talking about?"

"Why didn't you guys wake me up?"

Suyeong said with a whine, earning a small laugh from Jugyeong as Soo-ah replied with a cheery tone as always

"How could we? You guys looked so cute together! Even if he's a jerk and annoying"

"Cute my foot. Are you the one who posted the picture online?"

Soo-ah quickly shake her head

"That's not me"

"Really?"

She nodded. Suyeong sighed as Soojin put a hand on her shoulder

"Why? Do you want to get it deleted? Because we can totally help you"

"I don't think that's necessary"

Jugyeong muttered, earning their attentions as Suyeong frowned

"What do you mean?"

She showed them her phone, where a post about Suyeong and Seo-jun was deleted about 10 minutes ago. Soo-ah widened her eyes

"The post got deleted? That's great, then. As much as I like dating rumors, I would like to see the post got deleted too if the person in it is uncomfortable"

Suyeong formed a relieved smile

"But why, though? I highly doubt the person would delete it"

They nodded in agreement, starting to think who would do such thing as Soo-ah spoke

"Whatever. The post got deleted and luckily, the person's account is private so not everyone got to see it. Don't worry, Im Su"

Suyeong smiled, nodding

"Okay"

They continued to talk, pulling their chairs close to Jugyeong for a better group talk. Seo-jun walked in, glaring at the students as usual as he plopped himself on the chair. His gaze dropped on Suyeong who was laughing happily

He just flick his hair out of his forehead before pulling out his phone, sighing in relief when he saw how happy and relieved Suyeong is

Next day arrived and the twins were on their way to their classroom when Seo-jun suddenly interrupted their peaceful walking by throwing his keys for his bike to Jugyeong who caught it with a bewildered expression

Suyeong rolled her eyes

"See you at class, Jugyeong"

She said with a small sympathetic smile, telling Jugyeong by her eyes that she's on her own today. Jugyeong widened her eyes at her, not wanting to be left alone with Seo-jun who was looking at Suyeong's back that soon turned to Jugyeong

They had a study group yesterday with Suho suddenly joining them out of nowhere when he had specifically told them that he's not interested

Jugyeong disappeared though, leaving Suyeong with questions but she kept them to herself when Jugyeong suddenly dragged their older sister inside their home while yelling at her. She asked her why and was answered with Heekyung vomiting on Suho's jacket

Suyeong stifled her laugh but also astonished by shock at the situation

She headed towards her classroom, smiling widely when she saw Minhyuk writing something while sitting on his chair. She plopped herself on her seat, earning his attention as he took out his earbuds with a small smile

Fixing his glasses, he spoke

"You're here"

"Yes. What song are you listening too? Can I listen too?"

He nodded, giving the right earbud to her as she scooted closer to him. He cleared his throat nervously, observing Suyeong's face who was smiling softly while listening to the song

"I like this song. Can I see your playlist? You have great taste in music"

"Sure"

He replied with an excited smile, unlocking his phone as he went to the music app, showing her his playlist

"Wah. Can I have this playlist?"

"Just a moment"

He said, sending her the link to his playlist as Suyeong quickly checked her phone once the notification sound vibrated in her blazer's pocket

"Thanks"

"Do you want to see my other playlists? I have tons of them"

"Sure. I'd love to"

He started to show her his other playlists that he created, matching with Suyeong's taste in music as they sent each other their playlist

Listening to them might remind themselves of each other unknowingly

Seo-jun walked inside the class, dropping his bag on the floor as he looked to his left. Only to see Suyeong and Minhyuk laughing with each other with earphones in their ears, connected to Minhyuk's phone

He rolled his eyes, dropping his head on his desk and drifted to sleep as usual

Lunchtime came, and Soo-ah had decided to persuade Suyeong on getting Minhyuk to join their group for lunch which succeeded when Suyeong herself had agreed with the idea

The boy didn't have that much friend even though he was getting more popular day by day. Which is why Suyeong asked him to sit with them for lunch later

"They served my favorite today"

Suyeong said with a grin, bringing her tray to the table as Minhyuk chuckled at her excitement. They could see that Jugyeong and Soojin had seated across each other as both of them took a seat beside the smart girl

"Hi, Minhyuk. It's nice to have you joining us"

Soojin said with a friendly smile as Minhyuk nodded with a grin

"I know, right? You should sit with us more often after this. It'd be nice to have lunch together. Right, Suyeong?"

Jugyeong said with a smirk at the end, receiving a look from Suyeong. Soojin and Minhyuk chuckled at the twins, moving their gazes to Soo-ah who was trying to take a seat beside Jugyeong only to get pushed by Seo-jun who suddenly appeared out of nowhere

"Gosh, Seo-jun"

Soo-ah said in an annoyed tone, glaring at him as both her and Taehoon made their way to another seat, sitting across each other

Taehoon looked at his left, receiving a small smile from Minhyuk as he replied with the same gesture

"It's nice to have you with us"

Minhyuk chuckled, earning Seo-jun's attention as he looked at him for a moment before continuing with his agenda in teasing and annoying Jugyeong. Suyeong had noticed how the boy acted towards her twin

It's as if, he was trying to get back at Jugyeong for something. Or making someone mad by acting like that towards Jugyeong

But the question is... Who might it be?

She just shake her head, grabbing her chopsticks as she started to eat despite the attentions that their group were getting because of Seo-jun

"Hey, Han Seo-jun. Get lost if you're here to annoy Jugyeong"

Soojin said as he replied

"I'm only going to listen to Jugyeong"

"He's only going to listen to you!"

His goons said at the back, supporting him as if they're his cheerleading team or something. Suyeong just sighed, looking at Minhyuk as he gave her one of his 'tonkatsu'

Her favorite dish

She looked at him in shock, receiving a small laugh from him

"I don't really like tonkatsu. I figured you would like some considering how excited you are when they served this on our tray"

She smiled

"Thanks"

He grinned in return, fixing his glasses as they looked at Jugyeong who was on the verge of her tears when Seo-jun ate her favorite dish

"I was saving it for the last!"

"Why?"

"That's just how I eat. It's none of your business"

He nodded, dropping his chopsticks

"Okay. I should listen to you. Boys, bring her tonkatsu"

He said with a clap

"Tonkatsu!"

They all said in sync, earning a confused look from them as they soon appeared with two trays full of tonkatsu displayed to Jugyeong

She looked at the trays with loss of words

"You want me to eat all of this?"

The goons nodded as Soo-ah said with her gaze on both Seo-jun and Jugyeong

"I don't know if he's flirting with her or pranking her"

Suyeong just sighed, drinking her water as Minhyuk passed her a piece of tissue without looking at her. She took it from his hand, thanking him as she kept her gaze on Seo-jun and her twin

She was annoyed by how Seo-jun has been bothering Jugyeong today

"Hey, watch out"

The boy said, pulling Jugyeong's hair softly from touching the soup inside the bowl

"Don't eat your hair"

He said with a gentle tone, earning a grossed out look from all of them. Hyun-kyu and Taehoon slammed their spoons down, sighing while the girls looked at them with a 'wtf' face

Minhyuk just watched with amusement, curious as to why all of this is happening while the other students cheered

"Will you look at that?"

They cheered again when Seo-jun pulled his hand around Jugyeong back to him, smiling as Jugyeong took out a key from her blazer's pocket

"Just take your key. Don't you dare put it back in my pocket"

"What's the use of giving me this?"

He said, dropping the key back to the table as he continued with a teasing tone

"My motorcycle is parked right in front of your house"

That words alone was enough to make Jugyeong spat out her rice back from her mouth, smearing them on Seo-jun's face as Suyeong gasped with a laugh

Minhyuk gasped out of reflex, stifling his laugh as he felt his shoulder getting hit by Suyeong who was laughing uncontrollably

He just let her be

Soo-ah covered her mouth with laughter, looking at Soojin who was laughing

"Hey..."

"My gosh, look at his face"

"It's fine"

Seo-jun said, closing his eyes as he was in a state of disbelief

"Good job, Jugyeong"

Soojin said while laughing a little, earning a small laugh from Jugyeong as Soo-ah and Taehoon tried their best to not laugh

And there's Suyeong, laughing out loud as Minhyuk carefully put away her tray from getting hit by her to avoid any mess

"My goodness. I'm so sorry"

Jugyeong said, stifling her laughter as Seo-jun touched the rice on his lips with trembling hands, trying to put them away as Suyeong continued to laugh, feeling tears forming in her eyes

"That is the highlight of my day"

Minhyuk chuckled, patting her shoulder to calm her down as she cleared her throat

"Mine too"

The twins walked out of their house for another school day, looking at their left where a black motorcycle used to be, had went gone this morning. Suyeong frowned and nudged her twin on the shoulder

"Where's his bike? Did that jerk finally come to his senses?"

"As if. Lee Suho gave it back to him"

Suyeong raised one of her brows at Jugyeong

"Lee Suho? What was he doing here?"

Jugyeong smiled and nodded as they linked their arms together to walk to the bus stop

"He asked me for his jacket but it's not dried yet. Then, he asked me for Seo-jun's key and that he'll return the key to him back. I didn't know that it would be this fast. You don't think that they got into a fight again... Right?"

Suyeong shrugged her shoulders

"Gosh. This whole thing is stressing me out"

"Do you want me to punch Seo-jun? Because I've been craving to hurt him since day one"

Jugyeong chuckled

"Forget it. You'd just get yourself in trouble with that boy"

"It'll be worth it"

They continued to talk, riding the bus to their school as they soon gathered at the field. Balls were thrown from students as they paired up for the activity. Soo-ah and Soojin was paired up together while the twins was throwing the ball to each other

It was fun

Beside Jugyeong, Suho could be seen throwing the yellow ball to his pair

"Lee Suho, I saw that Seo-jun took his motorcycle"

Suyeong heard Jugyeong said as she watched their interaction. Interesting enough, Jugyeong is the only girl that she had seen talking to Suho with replies coming back from the boy

Even Soojin didn't get that much reply back

"Did he?"

"Hurry, Jugyeong!"

Suyeong said loudly, as the other twin passed the ball right back to her. She aimed for another throw, glancing at Minhyuk who was smiling excitedly to the ball that was thrown to him by his pair

She chuckled

"Should we take a break? I'm tired"

Suyeong said, earning a nod from Jugyeong as she brought the ball to Soo-ah and Soojin who was talking to each other while Suyeong leaned on the goal post, running her hand through her hair as she looked around

Turning her gaze to her right, she could see Seo-jun with a ball, passing it between his hands as Hyun-kyu and Taehoon could be seen arguing about something

She shake her head, looking away, not even bothered to know what it was

"Our divine Suho is back on the team!"

Taehoon said loudly, earning their attention as they looked at him in shock. Suyeong kept her gaze on them with no interest about Suho

"What? Suho will play? When did he decided on that?"

Hyun-kyu asked as they looked at Suho who remained unbothered while the others started to cheer for him

Minhyuk approached her, standing right in front of her as they exchanged a small smile

"Looks like they're playing basketball for the school festival soon. And that Suho will make a grand comeback"

"How did you know that?"

Suyeong asked with a chuckle. She was surprised that he knew about Suho, seeing as Minhyuk is the kind of boy who doesn't care about his classmates nor their interests

"I heard of it from my pairing"

She nodded, turning their gazes to Hyun-kyu who was trying to convince Han Seo-jun in their team, seeing as he was the so-called 'the bomb' of basketball, claimed by himself, of course

"I'll have to ask Im Jugyeong first. She's the only one who I listen to these days"

He said with a smirk, pointing his index finger at Jugyeong who was looking at him in confusion

"He only listens to her!"

A group of their classmates cheered as Suyeong looked at Seo-jun with a 'wtf' look as the boy got up from the grass

"Im Jugyeong, would you like to see me play basketball?"

"No, not at all"

The ball that was in Seo-jun's grasp fell as Suyeong stifled her laugh at Seo-jun's reaction

"Not at all?"

Hyun-kyu slammed the ball in his hand to the ground, kneeling in front of Jugyeong as he spoke

"Jugyeong, please allow it. I don't want to lose to Taehoon"

Jugyeong sighed

"Whatever. Do as you wish"

"I will if that's what you want. Count me in"

Seo-jun said

"Okay! Thank you!"

They started to walk the other way with Hyun-kyu escorting him like he's a king, earning a scoff from Suyeong

"He's been really annoying. Should I go and teach him a lesson?"

Suyeong said, cracking her fingers as she was about to walk to Seo-jun but Minhyuk quickly pulled her PE jacket gently

"Don't even think about it"

"Why?"

She whined, earning a sigh from him

"Don't you remember last year? You got into trouble because you punched a boy in our class"

"Well- that's because he touched a girl without her consent. He deserved it"

He chuckled

"It's not worth it to associate yourself with a person like him. You should go with your friends. I need to go somewhere"

Suyeong nodded, waving him goodbye as Soo-ah cheered while dragging the girl with her to Soojin and Jugyeong

"Im Su is finally in love"

She sang, earning a scoff from Soojin and Suyeong while her other twin was still processing whether Seo-jun really have feelings for her or just doing this to get revenge

"What love? Soo-ah, we're just friends"

"Friends to lovers!"

Suyeong chuckled, shaking her head as Soojin replied

"Should we go back? I'm tired"

They nodded, walking to the other way while talking about how Lee Suho is a hard person to read and Han Seo-jun's childish behavior towards Jugyeong

All Suyeong had wanted these days is to slap the smirk away from Han Seo-jun's face

The school's festival day has finally arrived as both Minhyuk and Suyeong had decided to go there together with a matching outfit

They both wore a beige outfit with a beret to complete their looks

"You looked pretty"

He said as Suyeong smiled, thanking him as she complimented him as well

"Jugyeong won't walk with us?"

"She said no. She told me to enjoy our alone time without her in between"

She said with a sigh, laughing a bit as they started to make their way to their school. Suyeong and Minhyuk have a lot in common, such as their hobbies, interests in food, drinks, and music taste, making them become closer day by day

"Wear this"

Minhyuk said, handing her a left earbud as she took it with a small smile. He played the playlist that both him and her had created weeks ago, walking in silence until they reached the gate

A lot of students have their eyes on her and Minhyuk, some even speculated and commented about their matching outfits, asking whether they're dating or not

Of course, they had denied and told them that they were only best friends

"What do you want to do first? There's a lot of games here. There even a face smashing water balloon section"

Suyeong raised a brow at the last sentence, looking at Minhyuk's gaze direction where they could see Seo-jun's goons behind a princesses cutout board while the people there threw the water balloons at their faces

She scoffed

"I've always wanted to do that to them"

Minhyuk chuckled

"Do you want to go there?"

"Let's just watch and think what to do first. There's a lot of food stalls here. I'm starving"

"Sure"

They made their way through the crowds, with Minhyuk fixing her beret without her knowing when she collided with other people. A lot of students from the other school even came to their festival

Seo-jun could be seen watching his friends from the other side, guarding the counter if any of them want to play

Suyeong laughed when the balloon was thrown at Chorong's face, accompanied with Minhyuk small laughter

Seo-jun noticed them, rolling his eyes in annoyance when he saw their outfits for the day. He walked to the other way, leaving his goons following him at his back with questions on why he had left them just like that

"Let's go buy some food"

Suyeong said, earning a nod from Minhyuk as they started to explore what their school had prepared. A lot of game was presented to the students and to the comers as Minhyuk and Suyeong played the games together

Passing by Seo-jun's goons game once again, Suyeong could see how harsh was the balloon threw at his goons by Seo-jun. Minhyuk had gone to the other way to buy them a dessert

"Hey, Han Seo-jun! Are you made about something?"

He looked at Chorong before replying

"Whatever"

He walked away but they quickly built a barrier to trap him from running away

"Hey. What are you doing? You have to be our sign"

"Sign?"

"Your face. Girls will line up if you're here"

"I'm going to see my pretty girl"

He walked away, gaze on Suyeong as Minhyuk came back with a cup of ice cream. She smiled, thanking him as she ate a spoon of the strawberry flavored ice cream

"Which pretty girl?"

"Hey!"

They gave up, running towards the counter where a lot of girls had came to play the game. He headed towards the pair

"Hey, Ahn Minhyuk"

They looked at him while Suyeong frowned

"Yes?"

Minhyuk replied

"Can I borrow her for a moment?"

He said, nudging his head to Suyeong who scoffed in disbelief

"Borrow? Am I a thing?"

"Sure"

They looked at Minhyuk as the boy fixed his glasses with a smile

"Go ahead. Don't worry, I have other friends beside you"

Suyeong scoffed with a small smile, nudging him with her shoulder as she spoke

"Is that so? Okay, then. Let's meet again after this. Have fun"

"You too. Bye, Suyeong"

She nodded, waving him goodbye as she turned to glare at Seo-jun who backed away in fear

"What do you want from me? Isn't it enough to bother Jugyeong? Do you want to include me as your next victim now? Is that so?"

He scratched the back of his neck

"No. Just come with me"

"Where?"

He didn't say anything and pulled her hand with his, passing through the crowds as the students fixed their gazes on them

They soon reached the school's audition hall as Seo-jun guided her to the seats. They sat beside each other as Suyeong whispered with her gaze on the group of students playing violin at the stage

"Why are we here?"

"To see my pretty girl"

He said with a smirk, turning his head to her as their face almost touched each other. She frowned and backed away a bit

"Your pretty girl? Who?"

"My younger sister"

She slightly widened her eyes

"Sister? You have a younger sister? Will she perform here today?"

He nodded

"She was chosen to sing the solo recital. She has a nice voice, you know"

"I bet she's better than you"

He looked at her with a confused face, scoffing in disbelief as he was about to retort but got shushed when the group of choir was presented when the curtains was pushed aside

"Wah. Your sister is so pretty"

He smirked

"I know. Now, shut up I want to hear her sing"

She rolled her eyes, taking off her beret as she put it on her lap. She fixed her gaze on the girl at the center, smiling when she started to sing the solo recital

"Wah"

Suyeong gasped, covering her mouth when the girl hit the high note. Seo-jun chuckled at her reaction, standing up when the lights are back on as they clapped their hands at the amazing performance

They walked out of the hall as Seo-jun took a bouquet of flower from his locker while Suyeong waited outside

"Let's go"

He said, walking away but was grabbed by Suyeong back

"What?"

"Can I have one of the flowers? I want to give her a flower too but I don't think I have enough time to buy one"

He looked at his flower, and then back to her who was smiling

"No. Let's go"

She cursed him out silently, rolling her eyes as he quickly followed him to the hall. There, they could see Jugyeong with Seo-jun's younger sister talking to each other. Suyeong quickly approached them

"Do you guys know each other?"

Jugyeong and the girl looked at her as she smiled at them

"Suyeong? You were here?"

"Of course. Seo-jun dragged me here"

"Seo-jun?"

"It's my brother!"

The girl said as Seo-jun approached them with a smile, giving the girl the flower as she took it excitedly

"Han Seo-jun?"

Jugyeong exclaimed in shock as he looked at her with confusion

"Do you know each other?"

"Do you know my brother?"

"Brother? For real?"

She looked at Suyeong in shock who nodded to confirm her question

"Jugyeong! Jugyeong, I need your help. Oh, hi there, Suyeong"

Soo-ah suddenly appeared out of nowhere in a panic state

"Soojin suddenly can't make it. I need you"

"Okay. See you later"

"Bye, Suyeong!"

Soo-ah ran off with Jugyeong's arm linked with her as the girl waved her goodbye with a wide smile

"How do you know Jugyeong?"

"She helped me with something. By the way, who is this?"

Suyeong smiled

"Hi. I'm Jugyeong's twin sister"

The girl broke into a gasp

"Really? Hello, I'm Han Go-woon. You can call me Go-woon"

Suyeong chuckled

"I love your voice. I really enjoyed your performance back there"

"Really? Thank you so much"

"We should go now. See you later at home"

"Yes, brother. Bye, Suyeong!"

Suyeong smiled, nodding as she wore her beret again when they walked to the other way

"I have a basketball match later. You should watch it. You'd fall for me instantly"

He said, flicking his hair out of his forehead as Suyeong scoffed under her breath

"As if. I need to find Minhyuk first. See you at the court"

"Okay. Don't faint when you see later!"

He yelled, walking to the other way as Suyeong cursed him out by muttering. She sighed, making her way to the court as she called Minhyuk to meet her there. She could see that a lot of students had gathered there already to support their own teams. She sat on the Devils High section while waiting for Minhyuk and her friends to arrive
