The school trip ended and they got back to their usual school routine. Suyeong was sitting on her desk with earphones in when a voice startled her

"Since when were we close enough for you to give me something like this? Throw it away. Do you not hear me?"

Jugyeong suddenly raised her voice at the end, storming off from the class as Suyeong furrowed her brows. Suho was stunned with the strawberry drink in his hands that Jugyeong had shoved earlier

"What's with her?"

She muttered, sighing as she continued to write her notes about their country's history. Seo-jun was nowhere to be seen and she couldn't care less about him

Soon, they were eating lunch with Soo-ah asking them to hang out at the sauna place. Suyeong put down her drink as she looked at Jugyeong who shot her a worried look

"I don't think I can go"

Jugyeong spoke nervously as Soo-ah whined

"Why not? It'll be fun. Please?"

"Why would you want to go to dry sauna? I hate the heat"

Soojin suddenly said making Suyeong shot her twin a questioning look

"I'll tell you at home. Eat up"

Suyeong sighed and nodded. Soojin smiled at her as she did the same, munching on her food. A chair was pulled beside Jugyeong as Suyeong raised one of her brows. She was sitting beside Soo-ah

Students started to chatter about the both of them

"My gosh. I lost my appetite!"

Jugyeong said loud enough for the cafeteria to hear, making them flinched

"Jugyeong. What's wrong with- great, she's gone already"

Suyeong muttered as Soojin spoke

"That's so unlike her"

"Why is she like that? She only had a bite. Is she on a diet?"

Soo-ah asked her as she shrugged her shoulders in response. Taehoon immediately took a seat beside Suho and started to whisper to him furiously. She kept her gaze on Suho with suspicious eyes

He must be involved with something. And she needs to find out whatever is going on between them

Suyeong made her way to her twin's room, barging in as she plopped herself on the mattress. Jugyeong looked at her with a smile

"Guess what I'm going to write on my desired career?"

She asked with a grin as Suyeong chuckled

"What is it?"

"A makeup-"

Heekyung suddenly barged in with her drunk usual self. Suyeong groaned in annoyance

"Did you drink again?"

"No, no, no. The alcohol swallowed me whole"

She slurred on her words, plopping herself on Suyeong who yelped in pain

"Damn it. It hurts, you bitch!"

"You have the courage to curse at her like that?"

Jugyeong asked with wide eyes as Suyeong freed herself from the woman, smiling a bit

"Only when she's drunk"

Jugyeong laughed a bit as her twin made her way to her table that filled with makeup

"What will you write?"

Jugyeong's face turned into a realization

"Right. I'm going to be a makeup artist!"

Suyeong smiled widely

"That's great! You have the talent for it. I'll support you from the back"

"Thanks. What about you?"

"Me?"

Jugyeong nodded eagerly as she thought for a while

"A neurosurgeon. I want be a surgeon"

Jugyeong gasped

"That's awesome. Mom will worship you if you ended up becoming one. Wait, no- you will be a surgeon. You have an outstanding grades, and getting a scholarship offer won't be hard at all"

Suyeong smiled

"Thanks. I'll go to my room, then"

"Okay. Goodnight"

She hummed in reply, closing the door as she headed to her room. She turned on her phone and searched for a medical university in Korea. The tutor fees were expensive and she highly doubted that their parents can afford it

She sighed, looking at the paper as she started to fill it in. Like Jugyeong had said, with her amazing results and grades, getting a scholarship would be a piece of cake

The next morning was a chaos

Their dad went missing, leaving a letter on the dining table, saying that he's off to Jeju Island to find the man who scammed him and left them with no money. For Suyeong, she had braced herself just in case if their father got scammed again

She had gone to school earlier than Jugyeong as she wanted to ask Mr. Han regarding a scholarship application

She walked inside the office where Mr. Han could be seen staring at his phone while muttering to himself. She frowned

"Mr. Han?"

He looked at her, startled as he quickly put away his phone. Suyeong furrowed her brows

"Suyeong. What is it?"

He asked with a nervous smile

"I want to ask you a question... Is there any scholarships available? For a medical school"

"A scholarship? I can ask the principle. Why?"

She smiled

"I want to apply to the scholarship. The tutor fees are too expensive and I don't think I can afford it. I would really appreciate it if you help me with this"

"Of course. I'll ask the principle and call you later. Your grades are promising enough to apply to a scholarship so don't worry. I'll help you"

She gratefully smiled and bowed

"Thank you, Mr. Han. See you in class"

Mr. Han nodded, smiling at her as she walked out with a grin. She's finally done with her task and now, she need to find someone

She walked to her classroom when a voice suddenly startled her

"Hey! Go back to your seats"

Seo-jun spoke with a glare as the boys scattered away immediately. She looked at him weirdly, ignoring him as she looked at Minhyuk who was busy studying. Her eyes dropped at Suho

She made her way to him as he looked at her

"Hey. Follow me"

The others looked at them as she ignored their chattering and walked outside. Suho looked at her for moment before following her lead

Jugyeong furrowed her brows. She decided to ignore them when Soo-ah gushed over about the rumors of her dating. She figured that she can ask Suyeong later

Suyeong stopped at the stairs where no students could be seen. Suho stopped and stood in front of her and asked

"What is it?"

"Did you do something to my twin?"

"Like what?"

She sighed through her nose

"Don't play dumb. Jugyeong has been acting weirdly these days. And she's annoyed by your presence everytime. What's with you guys? Did you do something to her?"

"We're dating"

The sudden answer made her eyes widened in disbelief

"It's true"

She burst into laughter, not believing what he just blurted out but quickly stopped when she saw how serious he is

"You what?!"

After the boy explained everything that happened to her, she looked at Jugyeong from the corner of her bedroom. Jugyeong had come to her room to talk about their father but all she could think of was Suho's words

"Hey"

She called out as the girl looked at her

"What?"

"You're dating Suho, aren't you?"

She widened her eyes

"How-"

"How I know does not matter. Why didn't you tell me about it?"

She scratched the back of her neck awkwardly

"Sorry. It's not that I don't trust you or anything but, you know how awkward I can be sometimes. I'm planning to tell you soon but... I don't know how to bring it up"

Suyeong chuckled

"Why are you sorry? You shouldn't be. It's your relationship, you have the rights to keep it a secret. Now, tell me everything from the start. Don't even think of leaving a single detail"

Jugyeong laughed

"Okay"

With that, Jugyeong plopped herself beside her twin as she started to tell Suyeong everything

They eventually stayed up until midnight, laughing and talking about Suho and Jugyeong. Their journey to a couple was surprisingly dramatic to Suyeong

However, a thought kept on lingering in her mind. Han Seo-jun like her. She wondered if the boy knew about their relationship or not. He's not that stupid to not figure anything out. She's pretty sure he knows with how obvious Jugyeong can be sometimes

And that's probably the reason why he's been acting cold these days. He even ignored her sometimes. Although she felt hurt, apart of her was in relief because in that way, there's a big chance that her feelings will fade away

Suyeong made her way to a café that Jugyeong worked at, attempting to visit the girl as she suddenly halted on her steps. She took out her phone, getting a text by Jugyeong, saying that she had left the café a while ago for some reasons

She sighed, putting back her phone inside her pocket as she flinched when someone walked out of the café

He dropped his eyes on her as she stepped back because of how close they were standing with each other

"Im Suyeong?"

Seo-jun exclaimed as she looked away

"Yes. It's me"

"What are you doing here?"

She looked at him with a hesitant expression

"I wanted to visit Jugyeong. I heard you're the one who recommended her this place"

"Yes, I did. But she just left, though"

"I know. She texted me earlier. Thanks for helping her for the job. You have no idea how much she'd been losing sleep because of it"

He nodded

"Anytime. Well... Are you going to go inside?"

She was about to reply when her shoulder was bumped by someone making her body collided with Seo-jun's

She groaned in pain as she looked at the person who's responsible for it. She widened her eyes and looked at Seo-jun

"Hey. Let's go"

"What-"

She pulled his hand and walked away almost immediately. He looked at her with furrowed brows as they soon reached to an alley

"What's with you?"

She looked at his back, sighing in relief when they're finally away from the cafe's area

"Hey, Im Suyeong"

"What?"

She replied frustratedly as he suddenly flicked her forehead

"You jerk-"

"Why did you do that earlier?"

She sighed again

"Nothing. It's just someone I know and I'm not fond meeting her again"

"Really?"

She nodded

"I'll get going, then. Bye"

She walked away but a hand suddenly gripped her wrist. She stopped and her eyes dropped to Seo-jun's hand that was holding her wrist

"What are you doing?"

"Why are you acting like this?"

She furrowed her brows

"What do you mean?"

"You ignored me and avoided me at school. It's weird. Did I do something wrong?"

He asked with a questioning expression as she looked at him for a moment before looking away. She couldn't stop her stupid heart from beating like crazy

"What's with you? You didn't do anything wrong"

"Then why are you acting like this?"

"I said, nothing!"

She suddenly raised her voice and thankfully, no one was in the alley. He widened his eyes slightly as she sighed

"Sorry. I need to go"

She quickly stepped away, leaving a dumbfounded boy who's looking at her with a worried expression. Questions started to run in his head

"What's wrong with her? Did I do something wrong?"

He muttered, walking to the other way as he tried to keep her out of his mind. They both started to think about each other and how one could forget her stupid crush and the boy who's asking himself a million questions about her cold attitude

Both of them hated being like this to each other

She walked inside the house with exhaustion all over her body, widening her eyes when she saw a scene unfolding in front of her

Her mom and dad who had surprisingly showed up again after he left to Jeju Island, was chased by the woman with Jugyeong in between trying to stop them

"Mom, Dad!"

She yelled, instantly stopping them both as Mr. Im looked at her with a smile

"Suyeong! Hello, my daughter. I missed you"

"What do you mean? You left us and had the audacity to say I miss you to your kids?! Come here!"

Ms. Hong shouted with rage, chasing Mr. Im again as Suyeong pulled Jugyeong to her. They both shared a look and decided to run inside the house before anything happens

"Since when did dad come back?"

She furiously whispered yelled, earning a stressed look from her twin

"Whatever. I'm too embarrassed right now"

She furrowed her brows

"What do you mean? Why would you be embarrassed?"

"Dad was staying at Suho's place"

She gasped, covering her mouth with her hand as the girl whined

"How am I going to face him now? Did you know what dad did? He pulled Suho's leg from under the table when he was about to-"

She immediately stopped herself from going further, which confusing the girl more

"When he was about to what?"

She smiled nervously, shaking her head

"Nothing"

"Hey! Tell me. What is it? He was about to do what? Jugyeong!"

The girl ran upstairs to her room as the other twin grabbed her hair before she could enter her room. They fought there with Suyeong yelling for her to finish the sentence while their parents were having their own fight on the front yard

They went back to school as usual with Suyeong plugging in her earbuds. She took out the form of their desired career, putting it on the table as she formed a small smile

While the other twin applied to a makeup school academy, she chose the medical school. She didn't tell any of her parents yet as she was waiting for Mr. Han's call about the scholarship first

The tutor fees are expensive and she doesn't want to burden her parents more after what they had gone through. She even considered going for part time jobs but she'll wait if there's no scholarships available

Soon, third period ended and she got a call from Mr. Han telling her to come to the teachers' office. She knew what the call was about and stood in front of the office with a nervous expression

She prayed to God that what Mr. Han will talk about, will be the one that she wished for. She took a deep breath before entering and flinched when she saw Jugyeong

"What are you doing here?"

She asked

"Mr. Han called me. What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I was submitting the-"

"Mr. Han, was that woman really your girlfriend?"

Ms. Lee suddenly asked furiously to Mr. Han who had a shocked and nervous look. He looked at the twins with a blank face and replied

"No, I'm not seeing anyone. I don't understand what you're saying"

"But you said she's your girlfriend"

The twin smirked at each other, leaning a bit to eavesdrop as Mr. Lee continued

"She works at Move Entertainment. Her name was Im-"

"Bread!"

All of the people inside flinched by his loud voice. He had shoved the bread that he was eating into Ms. Lee's mouth, making their eyes widened even more

The twins gasped, widening their eyes

"Eat up"

He quickly added as Jugyeong ran away after sending a look to Suyeong. The girl bowed, not knowing what to do as Mr. Han looked at her with a  scared look

"I'm sorry, Ms. Lee"

He said, earning a confused look from the woman who nodded hesitantly. She walked away with no words as Suyeong looked at her before moving her gaze to the man

"Mr. Han. You called me here"

His face turned into a realization, nodding as he motioned for her to stand beside his desk

"Right. I'm the one who called you here"

She chuckled nervously, nodding as the man cleared his throat before going back into his teacher mode

"I called you here regarding the scholarship"

She could feel her heartbeat picking up its pace. She formed a fist with her hands

"There is one available"

Mr. Han finished with a smile, making the girl smiled widely. She let out a relief gasp

"Thank you, Mr. Han. Thank you so much for your help. Wah, I can't believe this. I can finally put my worry to rest now"

He laughed a bit

"The university is from the US and this is the application forms that you need to fill in. You also have to do an interview before entering the university. You will join the other candidates next year if your application is confirmed"

She smiled, nodding

"Yes, I understand. Thank you so much, Mr. Han"

"Alright. Tell your parents about it and get their consents first. Submit the forms to me by the end of the week and we will discuss the details later"

She smiled, bowing as she walked out with a satisfied feeling. She's now one step closer to her dream and all she have to do now is do better on her grades

Although she's one of the top students, she can't slack off. She need to practice more

Eventually, days passed by and weekend started with Suyeong hanging in Jugyeong's room. She was studying for makeup exams until Juyeong barged in with excitement

"Hey, Jubal!"

They both got startled by his sudden presence as Suyeong quickly sat up

"How many times should I tell you to knock first?!"

"Do you have any comic books to return?"

"No"

"Any books to rent?"

"No"

"Why not?! You used to rent 10 at a time"

Suyeong quickly smacked the back of his head as both twin asked

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Why are you dying to go to comic books store?"

He scoffed in disbelief, looking at them with a disbelief look

"Dying? Dying? I don't want to go anywhere near Prince Comics"

He then walked out, leaving them dumbfounded

"What the..."

Suyeong muttered, earning a stunned look from her twin

"I'm down already. Why is he adding to it?"

She arched an eyebrow at the first sentence as she turned to look at the girl

"So, I'm right. Something is bothering you. Spill"

Jugyeong looked at her with a sigh. She suddenly hugged Suyeong with a gloomy mood. Suyeong chuckled

"What is it?"

"You know that I'm dating Suho, right?"

She frowned

"Yes. You told me weeks ago, idiot. What's with him?"

"It's not him. It's about Soojin"

She furrowed her brows. They were still hugging but Jugyeong was sighing repeatedly

"Hey, tell me properly! What is it?"

"Soojin like Suho"

She widened her eyes, gasping as she pulled out from the hug and put her hands on Jugyeong's shoulders

"How did you know?"

"She told me. What should I do?"

She whined

"Why him out of all people?"

Suyeong sighed, running her hand into her hair as she bit her lower lip frustratingly

"Did she know that you guys are dating?"

"Of course, not. If I told her, I highly doubt that she would confess about her crush on my boyfriend at me"

"That makes sense. Anyways, what are you gonna do now?"

Jugyeong sighed, plopping herself on her bed as she closed her eyes

"I don't know. I don't want to risk our friendship. What would you do?"

"Me? Well... I would tell the truth, I guess. But it'll be hard, of course. I don't know as well. I've never been in a relationship before. You're asking the wrong person"

Jugyeong let out a sound of cry

"I'm going to sleep"

Suyeong chuckled, nodding as she walked out of the room. She shake her head and sighed when she reminded of Jugyeong's problem

She massaged her neck and frowned when she saw Juyeong walking out of the house. Curious about his behavior, she followed him. Her brother has been suspicious these days

He would ask the twins whether they have some books that need to be returned or any to rent from the comic store everyday

She followed his trail, entering the comic store as she widened her eyes when Juyeong put an 18+ comic book to Go-woon who was in charge at the counter

"You little-"

She said, smacking his head as they both widened their eyes at her presence

"What was that for?!"

"So this is what you're doing? Reading adult comics?"

He widened his eyes, shaking his head

"No, Suyeong! I just happened to grab the wrong book"

"Suyeong. What are you doing here? How did you know him?"

Go-woon said with a frown as she chuckled

"He's my younger brother"

"What?!"

Suyeong furrowed her brows

"You didn't know?"

The girl shake her head quickly as a response. Suyeong sighed, forming a small smile as she spoke

"Go-woon. Can you put this book where it belonged to? Thanks"

She immediately recovered from the shock, nodding with a smile as she took the book and walked to the bookshelves

"You ruined my plan!"

He whisper yelled to the older girl who frowned

"What plan?"

"I like her!"

He whisper yelled again, making the older girl gasped

"Don't tell anyone"

He threatened as she scoffed with a smile

"Or what?"

"Or I'll tell mom that you're the one who broke her vase a week ago"

She widened her eyes and instantly, a scene flashed in her mind. Their mother was screaming for her broken vase that was pushed accidentally by Suyeong when Juyeong and her fought. They both decided to zip their lips that day and the culprit remained mystery

She sighed

"Okay"

He smirked, walking away as she made a face at him from behind. She was about to walk out until Juyeong spoke

"I don't care, but I'll ask since I have time to kill. Tell me why?"

"There he goes again"

Go-woon muttered, keeping her gaze on the comic shelves

"I'm good looking, I'm fit, and I'm smart. Why are you rejecting such perfect guy?"

"Because I dislike you"

She answered frustratedly as Suyeong snorted. She leaned on the counter, crossing her arms as she watched them with amusement

"But why? You have no reason to hate me. Okay, then. Tell me 10 things you hate about me. I'll drop it, then"

Go-woon let out a frustrated sigh, rolling her eyes as she begin

"You're so annoying. One, you're not my type. Two, you're too scrawny. Three, your narcissism makes me want to barf. Four, your voice is gross. Five, your personality stinks. Six, you're boring. Seven-"

"Stop"

"Leave before I get to 100"

Suyeong laughed, clutching on her stomach as Go-woon walked to the counter. She immediately formed a smile when she saw Suyeong

"That's so funny. I can't believe that I'm watching the divine Im Juyeong getting brutally rejected"

Her brother glared at her as Go-woon chuckled

"I said what I had to say"

"And you did a great job at that"

They both high-fived, laughing a bit as someone suddenly entered the store. The girl looked at the boy with wide eyes

Han Seo-jun

The boy that she had successfully avoided at school. But now they encountered at the comic store, the place where she least expected him to come

But then again, Go-woon is his sister

She scoffed at herself on how stupid she can be sometimes

"Go-woon. Guess who?"

Seo-jun said with a smile as Go-woon ran to him

"Seo-jun. What are you doing here?"

"I was in the area"

As they were talking, Juyeong had hid himself with the book the he picked up earlier, covering his face with it while Suyeong faced the wall like an idiot. She doesn't know why she did that but she stayed still

Juyeong suddenly laughed out loud, gaining their attentions

"Yes. I finally get it. The reason she rejected me"

He laughed again and ran out, leaving them confused while Go-woon looked so done

"Who's that freak? Tell me if he harasses you. See? I told you not to work. Why are you being so stubborn? You're so young"

"You're one year older than me. Stop talking like an old man"

Suyeong debated whether to leave but then Seo-jun was standing on the entrance. She cursed under her breath, not knowing what to do as she suddenly heard her name being called out

"Suyeong"

Go-woon called out as Seo-jun looked at the girl with a confused expression

"There's a person there?"

She slowly turned around, smiling slightly at Go-woon as Seo-jun widened his eyes

"Suyeong"

He called out as the girl spoke

"Seo-jun"

"What are you doing here? Why are you standing there?"

He asked as she looked at them and then to the spot she was standing at. There's no bookshelves, nothing but just a wall

"It's an interesting wall"

They frowned in confusion as Suyeong laughed

"I'll get going, then. Bye, Go-woon"

She then ran out, leaving the confused siblings as Seo-jun called her name out loud. He was confused by her behavior again

She would run away before he could call her at school, and she even blocked his calls and texts. He didn't had the chance to ask why she was so cold to him

He even asked Minhyuk if she's okay but only got answer that he doesn't know either and that she's talking to him just fine. That just worried the boy more

He asked himself constantly why she would act like that towards him only but not everybody else. He even scanned his conversations with her to see if he said something wrong but couldn't pin point the exact reason

He hated being ignored by her
