Suyeong walked into her twin's bedroom, noticing that Jugyeong was laying down on her bed. She formed a small smile, closing the door softly as she plopped her body beside her

"Suyeong?"

She asked, wanting to confirm who the person is as she smiled. She quickly snuggled under the cover, laying beside her as Jugyeong chuckled

"Are you going to sleep here or what?"

"Why not? It's been a while anyways. Should we read some horror comics? Like old times"

She asked, earning a nod from Jugyeong who grinned widely

"Okay!"

Suyeong laughed, suddenly hugging Jugyeong who tried to get off of bed

"I'm sorry"

Jugyeong frowned, feeling Suyeong's chin on her shoulder

"I'm sorry, for not defending you enough. I should've known better about you. I should've asked you on how your days went like. I'm such a bad sister. I'm sorry"

"It's okay, Suyeong. Don't say that you're a bad sister. You're the best twin I can ever ask for. It's not your fault, so stop saying sorry, okay?"

Suyeong blinked her tears away as Jugyeong turn around to face her

"Don't cry"

She said, wiping her tears as Suyeong nodded with her eyes closed, feeling her tears flowing down on her cheeks

She then wrap her arms around Jugyeong as they both hugged each other again

Suyeong had went to school a bit early as usual ever since Jugyeong started to skip school. She was wearing her earphones while writing something on her books in silence, until her peaceful writing session got cut off by a commotion

When she looked up, her eyes widened at the sight of Jugyeong with no makeup. She was also wearing her glasses

She quickly got up, getting a smile from Jugyeong who went to her seat. Minhyuk stood beside her, crossing his arms as he smiled at the sight. Hyun-kyu, Taehoon, and Si-hyun also smiled and greeted her, asking if she's okay

Soo-ah was having an unreadable face, not sure whether she's happy or not

"Jugyeong. You're really amazing"

"I admire you so much"

The male students said, complimenting her as Soo-ah suddenly ran out. Jugyeong went after her, chasing her out of the class. Minhyuk and her looked at each other with wide eyes, getting out of the classroom as well

After a few minutes, they couldn't find any of them

"Where the hell are they?"

She asked to Minhyuk who shake his head in return, not knowing as well

"Hey, you!"

A voice suddenly boomed through the hallway as they looked at the owner. Their eyes widened when Suho's fangirls and Jugyeong were facing each other

"Take back what you just said"

"Who are you?"

"Who is she?"

"Wait- Im Jugyeong?!"

They started to laugh once they recognized who she is. Suyeong was about to step in but Minhyuk quickly hold her shoulders

"She can handle it"

He said

"You must be nuts to go around with no makeup on"

"Aren't you going to take it back? Fine. I'm dating Suho. Suho is my boyfriend!"

She shouted at the end, making sure that the students can hear her. Suyeong formed a  wide smile, feeling proud that she can finally defend herself

"Is that good enough for you? Does that satisfy your curiosity?"

"She must be crazy"

"Yes, it looks like it"

Suho could be seen entering the scene as Suyeong scooted over for him to walk to the scene

"He doesn't judge people based on their appearances. He likes me for who I am. He's incomparable to girls like you who have horrible personalities! So don't badmouth him just because he's dating me. From now on, come and talk to me in person! I'll deal with you myself, got it?"

The students around started to chatter about how brave she is, complimenting her as Suyeong laughed with Minhyuk when they saw how speechless the bullies are

"That's our Jugyeong"

She said, fist bumping with him who smiled in agreement

"And if you have time to judge other people's looks, why don't you use the time to study instead? Do you know which king comes after King Sejong? I bet you don't!"

"Isn't it Sin Saimdang?"

"You're so dumb. Get out of my way!"

She shoved the bullies aside as Suho quickly approached her with a smile. He stepped closer to her, holding her arms and gave her a forehead kiss

The students started to gasp and yell in excitement when he went to hug her

Suyeong and Minhyuk hit each other's shoulders because of the sudden scene while Juyeong bit his fist, trying to contain a yell from coming out

The three of them jumped around in excitement, laughing at the fangirls' shocked faces

It was truly the happiest day for the twins

Suyeong was writing her notes, looking up as she heard a cheer. Suho was walking inside with Jugyeong hand in hand while Soojin looked extremely shocked

She rolled her eyes, looking at Seo-jun who had a hesitant expression. She looked at his gaze, noticing that it landed on their hands intertwined to each other

She cleared her throat softly, plugging in her earphones as she ignored the sinking feeling inside her chest

Mr. Han walked in, calming the excited students down

"Let's just go home, guys"

The sudden words made them frowned

"What are you talking about, Mr. Han? School just started"

One of the students replied

"Yes, I know"

"What?"

Mr. Han looked at Jugyeong and spoke

"You're not supposed to be in our class, so please leave"

"Mr. Han, she's Im Jugyeong"

"Yes I know- Jugyeong?"

"Yes?"

"Is that really you?"

"Yes"

Suyeong chuckled at his reaction

"Jugyeong, I'm so glad you're back. I mean- I was... I was so... I was so worried about you"

He suddenly broke down into tears, turning to the blackboard as the students exclaimed in shock

"Are you crying?"

"My gosh"

"Don't cry, Mr. Han!"

"I'm sorry, guys. I just can't believe that Jugyeong is finally back"

He wiped his tears, turning to face the students back but broke into tears again. He hid his face into his arms and leaned on the standing desk

"Don't cry!"

The students chanted as the teacher spoke

"I'm sorry, guys. That's it for today"

He walked out instantly, wiping his tears as the students laughed, still not believing what just happened

Soon, Suyeong was straightening her uniform after doing her business in one of the cubicles, suddenly hearing Soojin inside

"I can't believe you went to school like that"

"What?"

She heard Jugyeong. She was about to walk out, but she wanted to hear what Soojin wanted to say, so she stayed inside

"Are you trying to put on a show in front of everyone in school? Are you that desperate for attention? Have you suddenly become brave now that you're dating Suho?"

Suyeong quickly stepped out at the same time Soo-ah barged in

"Kang Soojin!"

They looked at her who furiously walked in, throwing an empty juice box to the floor.

"You should've throw that to her head-"

"Soo-ah"

Jugyeong cut Suyeong's words off, looking at the furious girl

"Kang Soojin. You really are the worst. You should be apologizing to her on your knees but what did you just say? Did you seriously just said that to her?"

"Why should I apologize? "

"Because you're the one who uploaded the video and the photos!"

Suyeong raised one of her brows, wondering how she get to know about it

"I tried to be understanding, at first. I figured you might've gotten angry because you had feelings for Suho. So I thought you'd at least regret it by now. Jugyeong wasn't coming to school, so I thought you'd feel bad about it and be worried about her. So, I waited for you to apologize to her. But, were you always such a horrible person?"

Tears started to escape Soo-ah's eyes

"Yes. It turns out I was"

Soojin answered with a blank voice, making Soo-ah ran out of the bathroom with Jugyeong taking a last look at Soojin before running out to chase Soo-ah

Suyeong looked at Soojin who ran out as well. She sighed, leaning on the sink as she looked at her reflection

"Soojin, you- why did you do that?"

She felt tears started to form in her eyes, blinking them away. She truly loved Soojin as one of her friends, but things turned out this way just because of a boy

Their friendship is at the brink of falling down, and Soojin broke it by saying those hurtful words

There's no way to fix it now

Suyeong walked towards the bench where Seo-jun was sitting at. She stood in front of him, handing a juice box as he looked at her

"You seemed to be deep in your thoughts"

She said, sitting beside him after he took it with a small smile

"What's wrong?"

She asked, sipping on the juice as he sighed

"Nothing much. Except for the fact that Jugyeong finally comes back to school. I'm glad"

She smiled, nodding

"Me too. She's been smiling and acting as if everything is fine... And all of us were fooled by those smiles. We didn't even realize that she was having a bad day at our old school"

They stayed quiet for a while until Seo-jun spoke

"We're graduating soon. Do you have any university you want to go to? Wait- Let me guess. SNU? It must be it. You're super smart"

She looked at him hesitantly

"Yes. You're right"

He smiled, cheering the fact that he got it right

"Anyways, what are you gonna do after school? I was thinking of treating you for the pasta"

"Not much. Why? Do you want to go on a date with me?"

He asked, nudging her shoulder with his as she scoffed and rolled her eyes

"Really? You're asking me on a date now? Have you got rid of those feelings yet?"

He looked at her and sighed

"I don't know. One moment, I thought I'm over it but then when I saw Suho and her-"

She looked at him. He was thinking that it might hurt her if he continued

"It's okay. I understand. It's not easy to control your feelings. Don't worry, I'll wait"

He formed a smile, feeling bad

"I promise, I will get rid of those absurd feelings and ask you out after. Don't give your heart to anyone else, okay? Not even Minhyuk"

She laughed

"What's with the sudden mention? Don't worry. He's over me too"

"Really? That's a relief. Anyways, let's ride my bike instead of walking"

She raised one of her brows

"Your bike? I thought you stopped riding those already"

"No way. My bike is my first lover"

"I can't believe I'm getting jealous over a bike"

He laughed, earning a glare from her

"Shut up"

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I'll pick you up at 5 p.m., is that okay?"

She sighed and nodded

"Okay. Let's go"

He nodded, holding out his hand as she looked at him with a questioning face

"What?"

He sighed, intertwining their hands together as she widened her eyes

"Are you insane? The students will-"

"Let them be. That's the main goal, anyways. Let's go"

She rolled her eyes, letting him be as he kicked a can on the ground, hitting Juyeong's forehead as they both widened their eyes

"Juyeong, are you okay?"

She asked in shock, glaring at Seo-jun who shrugged his shoulders in return. The boy didn't reply anything. He covered his face, his body shaking as if he was crying

"Are you crying?"

They both asked in shock. Juyeong suddenly hugged them both, startling them

"Seo-jun, my beloved sister, Suyeong"

He called out, earning a weirded out expression from her

"What should I do? I never knew liking someone would be painful"

"Did you get rejected by Go-woon?"

Seo-jun asked with a smile, containing his laughter as Juyeong replied

"I like her so much. But she didn't like me at all. My heart flutters whenever I saw her. How can I stay friends with her?"

They both rubbed his back in sync, receiving some looks from the juniors. He pulled out from the hug as they looked at him

"Now that I've been rejected after officially asking her out, I think I can finally move on"

He cried at the end, walking away, leaving the dumfounded seniors

"What was that?"

She asked, receiving a small sigh from Seo-jun

"No idea. Let's just leave him be. Let's go"

He said, earning a smile from her as they both walked away. Throughout the day, Seo-jun stayed beside her and didn't let go of her hand, not even once

They only hold hands under the table when they gathered to form a group on Mr. Han's class, because he knew that she'd be uncomfortable if their classmates saw them

He focused on her

Her smile bewitched him everytime when he looked at her, realizing that moving on from Jugyeong would be better for all of them

Unknowingly, the feelings slowly went away, and the only person in his heart is Im Suyeong, and not Im Jugyeong

It's just about time he realize it

Suyeong was choosing out an outfit to go out with Seo-jun later in an hour, not knowing what she should wear. Usually went she went out with him, she just threw on any outfit she felt appropriate. But now, she was stressing about it

'Why am I making such a big deal out of it?'

She thought, looking around her bed that has her clothes scattered at. Jugyeong entered her room, startled when she saw the condition of the room. Suyeong turned around to face her twin

"Are you going somewhere?"

She asked, standing beside her with her gaze on her clothes

"Yes. But I don't know what to wear. Help me, Jugyeong"

She whined

"Where are you going that you're this frustrated? Is it... A date?!"

She said at the end with a teasing tone as Suyeong flicked her forehead, making the girl yelped in shock

"Just help me, will you?"

"Fine"

She huffed, going to her closet as she went to the lower drawer

"Do you remember the dress mom bought us?"

She asked, opening each drawer as Suyeong widened her eyes in realization. Their mom had bought them a dress weeks ago

"Here"

She said, handing Suyeong a white box wrapped with a black ribbon. She wrapped her arms around Jugyeong who chuckled

"Thank you~"

"Do you want me to do your makeup and hair too? I've been learning the techniques at my classes. What do you say?"

Suyeong nodded quickly

"Okay. Wait here. I'll bring my stuff"

"Okay"

She answered with a smile as Jugyeong walked out with excitement. Suyeong sat on her bed, removing the ribbon as she took out the dress

She has never tried this kind of style before. She rarely wear dresses because of her harsh movements that could rip a dress into half. She took it out softly, feeling worried about how it would fit her body later

Jugyeong walked in with a wide smile, putting her makeup and a hair curler beside it on a small table. Suyeong quickly put it back inside the box

"Now, sit and stay quiet"

She scoffed under her breath, sitting on her studying chair as Jugyeong started to work her magic. Her makeup style was a bit different than Suyeong who had always wore some blush and lip tint only

It's not like she doesn't want to wear more, the only problem is that she don't really know how to. Jugyeong is practically her savior

She then curled her hair into a light wavy volume, tucking in the strands on the right side and let the left side flow freely

Jugyeong stepped back, smiling as she admired her work. She had put some brown and glitter eyeshadow, blush and highlighter on her nose and cheeks. A winged eyeliner and some mascara to enhance her eyes. She also put some red lip tint on her lips as a last touch

"Woah"

Suyeong worriedly looked at her

"Why? Is it-"

"You're so pretty!"

She squealed, taking the box of her dress, shoving it to Suyeong as she walked out to give her some privacy to change. She looked at her watch, realizing that she only has 20 minutes left

She quickly changed into the dress, straightening it and to her relief, the dress wasn't wrinkled and doesn't need to get ironed

"Jugyeong, come in!"

The said girl walked in almost immediately, freezing on her steps as Suyeong became worried again

"Why? Is it bad-"

"No! Stop saying you look bad- you're so pretty, Suyeong!"

She suddenly hold her hands as they both jumped around with Suyeong laughing

"You're going to snatch all boys in this city!"

"That's a bit of a stretch, Jugyeong"

Jugyeong laughed, fixing her hair like she's her hairdresser or something. Jugyeong took her perfume from her studying table, spraying it on Suyeong who closed her eyes to not get the liquid into her eyes

"Lastly..."

Jugyeong took out a small box. It contained a white butterfly necklace and white earrings that looked simple yet elegant

"Where did you get this?"

"I bought it yesterday and it looks like you're going to be the first to wear it. It looks good on you. Go ahead and look at the mirror"

Jugyeong quickly move her to her full body mirror. Suyeong widened her eyes at the drastic change of her face and outfit

"You usually wear pants or jeans, but this is the first time I see you wearing a dress except for a few occasions- but still, you look amazing"

"Stop it, Jugyeong"

Suyeong said with a smile, earning a small laugh from Jugyeong

"By the way, you didn't even tell me who you're going out with. Who is it? Wait- is it, Minhyuk?!"

"No! It's just- someone you know"

Jugyeong frowned

"Whatever. You can tell me whenever you're ready. But not too long, okay? Promise me"

Suyeong laughed a little, intertwining their pinky fingers as Suyeong grabbed her small black handbag, putting her cash and handphone inside it

"Tell me everything once you're back home, got it?"

"Okay, okay. Gosh"

Jugyeong grinned, pushing her out of her room while saying

"Just go and enjoy the date. I'll clean your room"

"Thanks. But it's really not a date, though-"

"Just get out already"

Suyeong chuckled, walking to the living room as she sighed in relief when there was no one there. That means, she can walk out peacefully without getting interrogated by her parents or Juyeong

She had texted him that she preferred on walking instead, because her dress won't be appropriate to ride the bike. He respected her decision and asked her to wait at the street as usual

It was famous for teenagers and students like them

She put her phone inside her handbag, walking to the street where she could feel other students gazes on her. She plugged in her earphones, ignoring them as she soon reached the busy street

She stood there, texting Seo-jun about his whereabout as she heard them talking about how pretty she is

She formed a small smile, smiling at them as a thank you. Some even ran away because of their shyness, making her chuckled

Seo-jun: I'm on my way. I'm almost there

She turn her phone off, straightening her dress as she put the strap of the handbag on her shoulder

He was walking down the street with his usual black jeans, white shirt tucked in and a black leather jacket to complete his looks. He also wore some necklace and rings as usual

He looked around and saw Suyeong standing in front of a café

He stopped on his steps

She was standing like an angel there. He never saw her in those kind of outfits before. His gaze landed on her, staying there as Suyeong saw him. She waved her hand at him, snapping him back from his thoughts

She walked to him, her hair bouncing a bit whenever she took a step as he cleared his throat, looking away

"Hey"

She greeted, forming a small smile as he looked at her again

"Yes. Hey"

"I'm starving. What do you want to eat?"

He cleared his throat, scratching the back of his neck as he replied

"Let's just go to the stalls... I want that"

He pointed his index finger to a small stall that was selling corndog, earning a nod from her

"Okay. Let's go"

They walked to the stall, buying two of them as she took out some cash. Seo-jun kept his gaze on her, astonished by her beauty

"What are you staring at?"

He quickly looked away, shaking his head

"Nothing. Let me carry that"

He said, taking the corndogs from her when she was struggling to put his phone into her handbag back. She muttered a small 'thanks' before taking her corndog from him

They started to walk around the street while biting on the snack

"Soo-ah and Jugyeong are friends again"

She said, looking at him

"Oh, really? That's great, then. Why did she react like that, anyway? Is she mad about Jugyeong getting a boyfriend or something?"

"Yes. She was eager to get her a boyfriend, and thought that Jugyeong is still single. That's why she's a bit angry. Don't worry, they're fine now"

He nodded, looking at her as some ketchup could be seen on her right cheek. He chuckled, getting some napkin that was provided from the stall

"Hey"

She stopped on her tracks, looking at him as he suddenly bent down a bit with a napkin in his hand. She froze, feeling the napkin on her right cheek as he wiped them softly and carefully, as if he was handling a rare piece of history

"There's some ketchup there. It's gone now"

She nodded in realization, muttering a small 'thanks'. He saw the empty paper tray, taking it from her as he went to the nearest trash bin

The next two hours were spent by going to a café, the shopping department and walking around the park

They stopped at the beach, the sky was getting darker when each second passed by. The cold wind was blowing, making her shivered from its coldness. Seo-jun saw the state she was in, quickly unwrapping his jacket and draped it on her shoulders

"Thanks"

He smiled, fixing it on her as they stayed quiet. The only sound that could be heard are the waves crashing to the sand. It wasn't an awkward silence, but a comfortable one. Seo-jun looked at her, but her gaze was on the sea

He formed a small smile, realizing that she was the one for him

Im Suyeong, not Im Jugyeong

She felt his gaze on her, moving her eyes to his as he spoke

"Im Suyeong. Let's go out"
