๐‘๐‡๐„๐€ ๐’๐“๐€๐‘๐„๐’ at the gray clouds and boring greenery through Embry's window. He lays his head on her lap as she toys with his hair, the action immediately making him close his eyes in tranquility. He loves moments like this. Moments where the two of them can simply enjoy each other's presence without the stress of pack duties and far sisters.ย

Rhea couldn't say the same. Moments like these blurred all together with the same mundane routine she has managed to establish. Every moment became predictable. The gray skies casted shadows in her head, forming a prison around her wild spirit that was ready to bloom. Everyone seemed to experience a life outside the small reservation beyond Forks and Port Angeles. She thirsts after the same.ย

It was inevitable. Everyone could see it, but her loving boyfriend. Everyone could see how the light once held in the eyes of the eldest Revello twin began to fade after her sister left. They noticed how it depleted faster the longer she hung with the famous leech-lover. She became distant, yearning for a life outside the forest walls and rainy days of Washington.

"Maybe we should take a break," Rhea suggests, she continues to look out the window while biting her lip slightly. Embry immediately sits up and frowns at the girl, "w-what? Did I do something wrong?"ย

Rhea sighs and shakes her head.

"You've been absolutely perfect Em," she starts as she lays down on his bed, choosing to face the ceiling rather than the boy next to her. "Then, why?" Embry asks, turning towards her. "I want to see the outside world," she blurts out, and he doesn't miss the way her eyes spark at the imagination of a world beyond what she already has.

Silence meets the atmosphere as tension begins to rise.

"Bella had her whole life planned before she moved to Forks, a life full of traveling and college. Now she's stuck wallowing away over a guy she met here. Ary sends polaroids every two weeks of something new just gushing over how happy being away from Forks makes her. Even Klaudya seems happy in Los Angeles. Homesick or not, she sure as hell is living life beyond what this place could offer. Don't you see Embry," she sits up and finally meets his eyes.

"Don't you think I deserve more than just this?" She asks.

He doesn't know what to say at first. He lets her words sink in. Was this really not enough for her? How long has she felt like this? Where did everything go wrong?ย

Embry glares at her, "just this? I gave you everything Rhea. You know I'm stuck here right? I can't leave La Push! I can't leave the pack! I thought this was enough for you...I thought you were happy with settling down here. It's your home, it's where your sister will come back to, where your best friends are, where I am. Aren't we enough for you?"

Rhea hates how her heart clenches at the sound of his voice croaking, but she pushes away the feeling and looks at him sternly. "You didn't even imprint on me Em," she says and she watches as Embry's eyes water. Her's begins to mimic the action.ย

She reaches her hand out to his and holds it softly, "I love you. I love La Push. I love my sister, my best friends, the pack, Emily... but there's no reason for me to stick around. I don't even know who I am yet, when Ary comes back things will be different. I don't know how, but I can just feel it and I don't want to be the only one who hasn't changed. Maybe things would've been different if you imprinted on me, but you didn't and that's okay. We're not destined for each other Em, so let me find my true destiny. Let me find who I deserve to be," she pleads.

Embry begins to quiver away from her touch, as he could feel his heart shatter in his chest. For years all he was ever proud of was being enough to be loved by her. His dreams were always of her. His future, his imagination, his life was ๐‘๐ก๐ž๐š ๐€๐ซ๐ข๐š๐๐ง๐š ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ. But she no longer wanted him. With this realization, he flees, unable to continue looking at her pleading eyes.

A heartbreaking howl rips through the forest as soon as Embry ran through there. Rhea frowns, wiping her shedded tears. She hops in her truck and drives to the only person who stayed in Forks with her.

Isabella Swan.

Upon driving up to the Swan's driveway, her eyebrows scrunch as she spots Jacob Black leaning in Carlisle's car. Rhea frowns at the realization that the vehicle belonged to one of the vampires that had left the Swan girl behind.

She quickly pulls her keys from the ignition, and runs over. "Bella, Alice! What's going on?" She asks hurriedly, avoiding eye contact with the Quileute boy who stands beside her.ย

"I'm going to Italy to save Edward," Bella informs her and Rhea nods. Her hand was already opening the backseat of the car, "okay, I'm going with you."

Just as she's about to settle in, Jacob grabs her arm. "No, you can't. I won't let you, it's too dangerous," he says. She tries to pull her arm away but his grip tightens.

"Jake let go," she pleads.

"What about Embry?" He asks. As if on cue another heartbreaking howl is announced from within the tree line, and Jacob's eyes widen as he looks down at her. "Embry needs you Jake... I suggest you go to him," Rhea says lastly as she hops in the car.

"Are you sure about this?" Bella asks and Rhea nods.
