It took him awhile to process what just happened. Maybe it wasn't weird, he just...saw it and it seemed weird? He didn't want to believe that Maki and Kaito were having sex and he just walked in on it all. Did they see him open the door? Hopefully they didn't. What if they did..? Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no.
       "All I do is just pretend nothing happened and that you didn't see anything. It's not any of my business in the first place and why didn't I at least just knock again like I did earlier"
    He started to walk back over to where Kokichi was in classroom A.
To his surprise, the one that he least expected to cry was crying. I mean, of course Kokichi could cry but he's usually strong and can keep himself up.
"Kokichi.? Are you alright?" he gently asked.
Kokichi quickly turned and panicked since he wasn't aware that Shuichi had seen him like this.
"Come on, Kokichi. Hide it like you always do. You're a liar, just make an excuse."
"Oh, hi Shuichi!" He smiled but even though his appearance showed that he was happy, he was truly not and giving a smile only made things worse.
Shuichi sighed and kissed the other.
"I know something is wrong. Please tell me."
He sniffled.
"Remember when you assumed that I was hiding my feelings from everyone?"
Shuichi nodded in response.
"..It's sort of, kind of true, I used to be such a cheerful boy that ignored what everyone called him. everyone has always hated me and called me names and a couple years ago was when it got to me, I realized that I was as stupid and ugly as everyone said. God, I'm such a loser! Can't you see that Shuichi? Why are you even nice to me when I'm a monster!?
At this point he was sobbing uncontrollably and Shuichi was snuggling him.

"You're not stupid or ugly, Kokichi."
"What do you mean? You're literally just saying that because I'm being annoying and stuff!"
"No I'm being genuinely serious. I promise you. If you really wanted me to I could prove it."
"B-but still! No matter what you prove, it just won't stop anything! Whether it's what they say or if it's what I see when I look in the mirror!"
"I can try to stop what they say to you and how you think of yourself."
Shuichi checked the time on his watch. 5:00 P.M. It's been a very long day, but this embrace between him and Kokichi kind of made it a little better, actually no. It made him feel alot better. Like he was glowing almost. He didn't want to admit it though.
He gave the smaller one a smile. "What do you want to do?"
"Follow me.."
Shuichi followed him outside and into a small corner.
"This is where I like to go when I'm stressed.."
Kokichi stared at the taller for a few seconds and leaned in until he could feel soft lips against his own. The kiss was short, but it meant alot to them, for today was quite an emotional day.
