Chapter One Hundred & Four;
Erza Vs Azuma Vs Anna

As the group began to run towards camp Anna suddenly came to a halt the celestial mage glanced over to the Tenrou tree her eyes hardened as she felt two magical signatures one being Erza and the other......

"Mother why have you stopped?" Wendy questioned the mage her brown eyes filled with curiosity but also fear, fear that something was wrong.

Natsu, Cana and the three exceeds stopped as they heard Wendy speaking, they soon turned their attention to the celestial mage who was staring in a certain direction.

"Get to the camp I will meet you all there" Anna stated glancing over her crystal blue eyes met Natsu's dark onyx ones "I promise" and with that simple promise she ran in the opposite direction leaving the group alone.

'Be careful love.....' Natsu thought not knowing that hidden within the shadows a cloaked figure was thinking the same thing whilst the island began to shake violently.

Both Azuma and Erza stood upon the many branches of the Tenrou tree. The red haired wizard gritted her teeth together in anger seeing what the dark wizard had just done. No. It pissed her off.

"I controlled the islands magic power to keep your own intact, now Titania your friends are on the verse of death all over the island, show me how powerful this 'strength to protect your friends' is" Azuma stated awaiting for the red head to attack.

"Azuma of the seven kin is it?" Erza questioned her face held no emotion as she stared at the enemy "what have you done this?"

"Master Hades orders, we're to eliminate every last FairyTail wizar-""NO!" Erza snapped after his answer she already knew about the order "why have you left only me able-bodied?"

"I told you" Azuma began his pupils dilated showing the craziness within "I wish to fight you in a serious battle, that's all" he answered which Erza couldn't terminate was a truth or if he was lying.

She narrowed her eyes almost dangerously "if that's what you say isn't falsehood then I expect you to return everyone's power upon your defeat" she demanded.

"You have my word" Azuma accepted the red heads proposal "I'm not fond of these methods either, of course only if you defeat me" he exclaimed.

Erza clicked her tongue in annoyance as she summoned two duel sword she readied her stance "my friends lives are on the line I will.... PREVAIL!" She lunged "Requip: Heaven Wheels Armour!"

"Blumenblatt!!" She summons her swords which lunged towards Azuma however he was able to move the roots blocking them which shocked the red haired wizard since that spell was meant to cut through anything it touched.

"Fodium Sica!" Azuma suddenly massive funnel of leaf blades which Erza began to slice with her swords yet her outfit was cut by one of the blades summoned more

Erza gritted her teeth as multiple blades began to cut her skin, she soon let out a loud cry as a large wooden fist punched her which caused Erza to slide backwards on one of the large roots.

"I'm sure you can do better than that, Titania" Azuma stated mockingly not a scratch or bruise touched his body "I insist you get serious" 

Azuma sent a couple roots towards Erza who who them before her body glowed whilst she  lunged towards him at a fast paste managing to attack him with her sword.

Erza jumped from root to root as she continued to wound Azuma marking his untouched body with new cuts that began to bleed out and bruises that were starting to quickly turn a sickly black colour.

"Such swiftness I take it that's your flight armour..." Azuma gritted beneath his breathe as he continued to take the multiple blows from Erza "However...." When the red haired wizard leaped away he took that chance to grow more roots from the ground hitting Erza yet he wasn't expecting for her to Requip once again.

"Adamantine Armout" Erza drawled.... As she revealed her new Requip armour and one of her strongest within the collection.

It is a bulky, darkly colored armor. The armor on her body consists of two parts. The first part, a lower plate which covers her stomach and most of her chest bears a simple diamonds and stripes pattern engraved into it near the top. On top of that lies another plate which hangs from the neck and goes to her midsection. Extending over this top plate are four round, metallic extensions which attach underneath the plate around the neck. The neck features a large cylindrical plate which is sectioned off into six progressively larger sections.

Around each shoulder are very large shoulder guards with four distinct sections with a large spike jutting off to separate each section from the next. The armor features large gauntlets bearing the sectioning pattern of the rest of the armor with the sections becoming smaller as the gauntlets move in towards her hands. Underneath the bottom chest plate is a skirt bearing a woven pattern.

The edge of this skirt bears small spikes and a larger spike hangs beneath every other small one, dangling over the leg greaves. The greaves bear the same sectioning pattern as the rest of the armor but are split down the middle with a large piece covering the knee. Several curved spikes jut out from the outward facing sides of the greaves. Atop her head sits a large, spiked headdress.

"The ultimate defence" Azuma exclaimed as he stared at Titania in shock "it's said to have stopped a direct blast on a Jupiter focused magic cannon excellent" he smirked before sending multiple blades towards Erza who blocked it with her shield.

"CAN IT WITHSTAND THIS!" He shouted as he sent more and more blades towards her, Erza never faultered at the incoming attack she clicked her tongue in anger before lightning surrounded her.

Azuma glanced upwards with a smirk as Erza lunged towards him from above but managed to dodge, the red haired wizard never left eye contact yet she wasn't expecting to be hit from behind sending her through multiple tree roots.

"I'm familiar of that one too, thunder empress armour, I see your magic power is worthy of the Titania name" Azuma drawled as he vanished into the root only to appear on another one "swift Requipping, flawless sword technique truly impressive your entertaining indeed"

Erza glared at the seven kin member in anger she glanced over her shoulder seeing a shadowed figure hiding she smirked before quickly focusing on her target.

"I see it seems your more than just talk you aren't obsessed with strength for nothing" Erza exclaimed as she stood herself back up from where she had been knocked down.

"Will you fight me seriously now?" Azuma questioned raising his right brow when the woman's lips curled upwards before she charged.

Their battle was intense that was for sure as the two of them sent multiple punches and kicks at one another both wounding the other before Azuma leaped backwards summoning his blades once again which cut through Erza's armour.

The red head soon found herself requipped into her black winged armour her legs held down by Azuma who was merged within the root a large blast of fire surrounded her as she screamed in pain as her skin began to burn due to the intense heat.

"Switch!" Erza cried out within the flames before she fell onto the ground unconscious, Azuma didn't know why she had shouted out whilst being hit by his attack but his eyes soon widened as clapping was sounded from behind him.

There stood Anna Heartfilia her lips curled upwards into a smirk as she noticed the fear and shock within the dark wizards eyes, she was currently in her white armour.

"The white Knight..... how is it you are able to stand?" Azuma questioned as he pointed accusingly at the blonde quickly hiding away the emotions he had just shown.

The blonde mage merely hummed as she walked across the roots which began to form into stairs which shocked Azuma once again since he should only be able to control the trees roots and branches.

Yet Anna didn't answer his question "I believe it's just me and you for now tree hugger" said male grew a tick mark above his head at the nickname "until Erza recovers from your attack I shall be your opponent"

"Gaia" the blonde mage called out as the roots she stepped on began to form a branch beside her which soon began to grow into a tree that formed into a body of a woman "thank you for updating me, I will summon you later for our contract"

The goddess smiled sweetly at the blonde mage not caring that she was in the middle of a battle "you can summon me whenever you want child" she exclaimed before she vanished within the newly formed tree root.

'I was hoping to avoid the white Knight..... but surely she knows that a couple of spirits won't be able to harm me' he thought smugly to himself not knowing that Anna and Erza had a plan a plan to end this once and for all.

The smirk on her lips soon faded her eyes hardened body glowing a brilliant white before it died down revealing Anna in her Demonic Soul armour which made Azuma shudder the two not seeing Erza's unconscious body twitch.

The flames that surrounded them Berber subsided as Anna lunged her skin would burn yet she didn't care as she headed straight for her target at an incredible speed summoning one of her swords she slashed the blade at Azuma who tried to dodge the attack his clothes ripped as the blade merely nipped Azuma's skin.

"No one, no one takes my friends magic away!You want to start a war with FairyTail! Then a war you shall get! AZRAEL!!!"Anna shouted as the flames surrounding her began to turn within a mixture of purple and black.

The familiar figure of a Phoenix rose from the flames a loud cry caused the flames to grow hotter and hotter that Azuma could not stand not kneeling on the ground as he grabbed his exposed arms where burns which were far worser than what he had before now formed on his skin.

"Finally! This was what I was waiting for a true fight" Azrael exclaimed gleefully as flames began to leak from his closed beak, Azuma was frozen on the spot as the large creature opened its mouth a fireball shot out straight towards him forming into a skull.

At that second Erza suddenly lunged within Azrael'a flames a battle cry escaped her lips. Anna's eyes widened noticing the amount of anger within the red heads eyes not only that but there was also.... Love.

Erza loved her friends, guild mates, gramps everyone even and she would do anything to keep them safe. Anything. The celestial mage could see that Azuma knew this....

The member of the seven kin closed his eyes accepting his defeat "well done" he whispered just as Erza took her final blow causing Azuma to fall backwards falling from the root of the Tenrou tree.... Erza soon followed with a small grunt of pain due to the amount of magic drained from her body.

Anna watched from the trees along with Azrael who was mumbling about not getting much of the action yet the celestial mage didn't listen as she stared sadly at Azuma's body which began to be covered, no... he began to be one with nature.

"Why do people so intently seek Zeref!?" At that question Anna began to pay attention to their conversation her eyes still closed a lone tear fell from the corner of her eye knowing Azuma's fate.

"To grow closer to Primordial magic, magic from the words inception...." Azuma grunted slightly in pain yet he did not show it "I suppose..." he mumbled looking up at the blue sky.

"Primarodial magic...." Erza thought aloud in a mere whispered before glancing up at Azuma who was smiling "and what happens if you manage to reach it?" She questioned. No. Demanded.

"Jellal dreamed" at the mention of Jellal Anna opened her eyes "of paradise, of heaven.... We" he trailed as the roots began to grow around him Erza called out for Azuma but it was too late.

Anna sighed wiping away the tears that rolled down her cheeks she went over to Erza placing a comforting hand on the warriors shoulder.

"He's in a better place now" Anna spoke in a soft quiet tone to which Erza merely nodded her head silently agreeing with the blondes words "You should probably catch up with the others who knows what other dangers may be lurking on the island"

Erza quickly snapped her head up to Anna "what about you?" She asked hurriedly she tried to stand up only to stumble slightly, she cursed herself for almost using all of her magic power.

Anna merely walked passed the red head her crystal blue eyes narrowed the smile she usually held turned into a frown whilst Erza watched her confused and worried for her friends safety.

"We will meet up soon, that I can promise you, I'm going to show someone that you cannot take a name from anyone especially a god"
